Okay, folks, this is a new multi-author project, but it's not going to be something that's openly available for at least a little while, until we're all satisfied that things "fit right" the way they're supposed to do.
Some of us author-types have already discussed and even incorporated our stories into a sort of Shared Universe. |
| I propose the name, "Topiverse," and will be the one compiling the facts here. I know that Anistasia Allread's Erika Summers/Martin/Martinez stories and my Sk8r Grrls already share the Topiverse. But so does my Girlwind and Family Tragedies & Secrets and those four even all take place in the same fictional town (Constitution, Tennessee). Others that are kind of implied to be in the Topiverse but not in the same town... well, I have a few other stories that fit, and Susan Brown's Football Girl was mentioned.
If other authors want to see if their story settings might fit in, let me know -- PM me with times and places that the stories take place. Feel free to discuss this below in the comments, talk about the pros and cons, or whatever! What I'm compiling is a timeline and map of sorts, so... feel free to join in. Oh, and if I tell you that your stuff won't fit in... please don't take offense. It's not anything personal, I promise. I just have a list of criteria that as more people are added in, will actually get MORE restrictive, y'know? Above all... have fun with this! |
