This was on Yahoo news and when I read it, I could only praise this student. Yes, we should play to win, but at times, being a nice guy is a whole lot better.

Nice story

I've been through Yellville many times, my parents were born about forty miles east of there near Oxford, Ark. I recognized most of the last names of people in the story, those are pretty common through there and those first names, too. I'm probably related to people on one or both of those football teams. Some cousins of mine own funeral homes in the area, too. It's beautiful country, too, near the lakes.

It sounds like a very Arkansas story. Do the right thing is kind of an Ozark mantra. They talk slow and careful in that area, see the movie True Grit if you want to know what they sound like. The accents are not right but the rhythms are.

Thanks for posting.

Hugs,
Erin
