The History Channel just broadcast the moon landing as if it was just happening. They broke into broadcasting and had Walter Cronkite reporting. It was just as if you were there the first time. They are now broadcasting "Moonshot".

Sometimes I do wish I have cable but most of the time *shrug*.
OTOH, I got to see the whole moon landing live with my family. My Dad felt it was important enough to let the little one (me) stay up. Usually I would have been in bed no later than about 8:30 at that age but we stayed up as a family for the whole event.
It was amazing.
It inspired a whole generation to get involved in Math and Science. It is unfortunate there is no similar force now - people take technology kinda for granted these days.

Correction, HEAR the moon landing
They only had audio and a data link on the way down, limtations of power and eletronics of the time. The landing you see is film shot by cameras on the LM.
It was a very tricky landing but they made it.
I was at my dad's parents farmhouse house listening to the coverage on a color TV ; a whopping 23 inch I think. Gran and Grampa had color from at least the mid sixties, we didn't get one until 73 or was it a year or two earlier? The first steps on the moon were live B&W TV from the moon, the picture washed out by the extreams of dark/light and glare off of any shinny surface. When they moved the camera later to a tripod the pictures were much better. I think the walk was very late at night but we stayed up for it. I was between fifth and sixth grade at the time and it was very exciting.

Live from '69: Moon Landing"
It's actually been listed on my Satellite listings for a few days as "Live from '69: Moon Landing" and I tagged it and Moonshot to record on the 2nd running :)
I'm sure it will be available on YouTube or Hulu or Joost or on HistoryChannel's website, in a matter of days if not hours.

Walter Cronkite was the host for a TV show called "You Are There" which was a recreation of historical incidents in the form of a newscast. Showing this sounds like a one of the episodes of the series, except that you could use historical footage of Walter Cronkite actually reporting it.
