Hello again,

A few weeks before the fm server crashed I was thrown away by my employer of twenty years and had to take a job out of town. I only get to go home on the weekends and have not been able to do that much to get fm back up and running. Several people, geographically very far apart, pulled together to get us as far as we are. Glamour Boutique has been very supportive.

As soon as Talea completes the debugging process, we will be functional again. Webcatalog, which is the software code that gives fm the very usable features that is known and loved, has been giving problems as we have tried to make it work with the other new software on the server. We are, however, getting closer.

I will post a somewhat detailed history of the fm outage when we are back on line.

On a side note, I want every one who has sent me a personal email concerning fm to know that I really do appreciate your support. We have had so many offers of help, that it warms the heart.

FM is much more than a repository for fiction. It has become different things to many different people. Even though most people come to fm for different reasons, we have become one large "community".

If, because of my work schedule, I do not personally answer an email, please do not take offense. Most of the time, I am not able to communicate at all during the week and on the weekends, I am busy with family.
