Tragedy Of The Spirit Challenge

Melanie Dixon has sent me Melissa Dawnw Northe's [Prairie_Girl64] latest story. I have edited the story, but we both feel that there is much more to the story as Prairie Girl did not complete the story and left behind notes on the outline on how to complete it.

Melanie thinks that Prairie Girl's friends and fans may want to contribute to the legacy of Tragedy, and has offered to open up the floor and issue a challenge to everybody here at Big Closet-Top Shelf and Stardust to complete the story using the notes below.

I ask that everybody that accepts the challenge to send the story to me in a P.M. so that I may place it in er story as Melanie has given me the authority to post her stories.

Notes for “ask the lonely”

Basic premise of young boy whom through trial and error cannot find a peace within and ends up lonely while others including family/friends alienate him.

Short stature and young; struggle to find not only him but acceptance within family/friends etc

Small dialogue with friends outlined in story

Small dialogue with family (sharp/contrite/abusive)

References the song by Journey “Ask the Lonely”

Finds himself and eventually alienates those that have ignored him for so long

Writes a tragic note to his parents after he is severely beaten and shot and left for dead

Even after a lengthy wait in hospital for his parents love and acceptance he is released and eventually kills oneself on the doorstep of his parents home after the parents are asleep

Left wondering what about the lonely of this earth that struggle to find oneself and support within family/friends

Acceptance needs to be attained as well as understanding by all.

A tragic story with a strong message about love that should be there and was not.

We shall be accepting of all as we all have flaws and need to find that although different to each other we all share a common trait. Our blood and we also have and are Gods children.

Internal dialogue with the main character as to his dreams and hopes and trying to understand why he feels as he does

His motives that drive him

His sadness/pain

His ultimate decision to end his life after being rejected the thoughts that motivated that decision
