The hero of the story is not himself transgender but one of the major characters is. Anyway, it's a great story.

It's definitely one of the best.
Edit - and after sitting here remembering this story, I realized I'd read it before creating an account and had therefore read the entire thing without leaving as much as a single kudo. This has now been corrected for every chapter, as this story deserves each one and more. Apologies to the Cyclist for the delay!
