Does anybody know what the name of a story that is in the Whateley universe about a m2f mutant (with a drop in age) who is a college professor who is unwittingly thrown back in time by a Goddess to be her champion at different points in time before returning back to the present day, then accepting a job at Whateley as the new history teacher.

Time is the longest distance to your destination.
Have to agree with Siteseer
the character is also referred to in John in Wauwatosa's "Timeout", Dani in "Ma'at" is an archaeologist specialising in Ancient Egypt
However Joanie the MC in "TimeOut" is also given the Whateley Faculty History Chair
IIRC...
...both those stories are non-canon, so they didn't have to be consistent on that.
