The meeting has been moved up to Wednesday at 11AM, and Cathy is going to be there in all her glory. It IS time my sisters learned that this is not a whim, or something I thought would be cool to do for awhile. Cathy is who I am, Cathy is who I'm, going to be, and that is the long and short of it.

I WILL have some moral support. My housemate and best bud, Tina, will be going with me to lend a hand and just be there for me. The lawyer is an old family friend who IS aware of my RLT, and the reason for it, so I don't anticipate any difficulty there.

I have NOT yet officially changed my name, legally, so of course, if I do sign anything, I will still be signing my old, male name. Again, no problems anticipated.

It does promise to be an interesting morning, and I'll update this blog when I return from it, tomorrow afternoon.

Mom was VERY specific in her will, so there's virtually no way either sister can screw me out of anything Mom wanted me to have. I don't seriously think either of them would sink that low, but it's good to know that Mom's terminology was and is, quite specific.

I want to thank everyone who responded to my last blog. You re-affirmed what I had actually, sort of, decided to do, but I guess I needed to hear it from the people I respect and love, you, my online family, my family of choice.

I'll be spending this evening getting everything ready for tomorrow morning, so nothing can go wrong...although we all know that, at the last moment, something always does. LOL!

Nevertheless, I truly appreciate everything you all said, and I know that every word came from your hearts. I am truly blessed by my friends, both online and here in my everyday life.

Well, here goes! Wish me courage and luck. More when it happens. Film at 11! LOL!
