What am I or what are you is something we often consider, and a lot of what follows has appeared in one form of expression or another in various stories and blogs over the years

I am male, and have female mannerisms outwardly male and female inwardly, I love to cross dress, be a transvestite and dont consider myself to be transgender - Female in male body or even male in a female body or what ever the label "transgender" means.

I Know I love to wear lingerie sometimes it is totally sexy mostly to make me happy and content other times its to be intimate and at times its just plain everyday use, yes and freely admit to preferring soft panties and wearing them most of the time and even if I have to go for a visit to the Doctor or a Hospital check up, much to the annoyance of my wife. I do give in and wear male items for this I do have to be pushed by her on this,

My wife over the years has encourage me to dress and at other times discouraged, I do have respect their feelings as well as my own. I did say their feelings as we do have children as well

Their are a lot of cross dressers in this world and many do so openly and not an adverse word is made in public or in private, depends on the acceptance as to where they live in this world or who is in control at that time, or the cultures and traditions they grow up in

I have had intimate relationships with all genders so do you label me as Gay, Lesbian or Bi sexual, or do you take it from the clothing I wear at the time or if I wear none at all

I have dreams, wants and desires just like any one else

One thing I do know is I am a not a label

I am an INDIVIDUAL AND A PERSON

There is no way I can count all the times I have tried to explain, people are NOT cookies but are snowflakes. There are no two alike. Sometimes I get so frustrated with people who should know better, those trained in the medical fields, I just want to toss it all in and give up. I understand using labels for people makes it easier and more comfortable to those making up diagnoses, lists, and categories. However I feel the truth is the simplest of them all. There is no one size fits all.

May you find happiness in your life. You probably will as you figured it out. "One thing I do know is I am a not a label"
Have fun with life. It's too short to take seriously.

Similar lives

Patricia Marie Allen's picture

We have similar lives. But as BarbieLee pointed out, we're more like snowflakes. From a distance, we look similar, but up close there are myriad of differences. I make no bones about wearing women's underwear 24/7. I've nearly replaced all of my men's clothing with women's counterparts. Where your wife has at times encouraged your cross-dressing, mine never has though she has come to grips the fact that my feminine side is a mile wide and deep and loves just as I am. While you wear lingerie when visiting the doctor, I fully dress, as in a dress or skirt and blouse. I also wear an enhanced bra, 24/7. At work the enhancement is an A cup, the rest of the time, it's in the C cup range.

My women's wardrobe runs the gambit of butch enough for those who insist I should be an average man, to judge me to be that man, to the ultra, undeniably girly girl fare. And my sexual preference is heterosexual according to my plumbing, which is standard issue for the XY chromosome humanoid. While I will never seek to have genital surgery, I do consider myself trans.

As you said, I'm an individual, and a person, as we all are.

Hugs
Patricia

Thank you Barbie and Patricia for both adding your comments to this Blog

I have more female clothing than male.

I am certain that I will enjoy my life and looking forward to retirement when ever
that happens as the age limit seems to get extend year after year and I am not
in a mind to stop working yet
