I am writing this for two reasons. One because I need to. Second, because I hope it might inspire some writer.
Imagine an over top wedding. Brides parent don't have money; but, husband is loaded. Big church wedding. 9 brides maids/grooms men. Reception is at a yacht club. You get the idea. Problem, the bride is bipolar. Friends, family, husband miss the bride is near manic. She has not been taking her meds. Honeymoon is Aruba. Relized too late, the bride is manic. Now the new husband is dealing with a manic, parnoid, phycotic, abusive woman. Family and friends working night and day to get meds to aruba and get them home. Hotel security, emts, and the police try to deals with a 180 lb woman who doesn't understand why the police are about to beat her. USA state department involved to prevent her from disappearing in the so called Aruba legal system. Bride and groom are told to leave Aruba within 24 hr. Admitted to a mental hospital. Where the husband is told he would have to protect her through the night because there is no staff on duty from 6:00 PM until 8:00 AM. Arranged for medical evac from Aruba ($26,000). Selected the company because they had the abilities to do a hot extraction. Hot extraction was not needed (thank you state department).
Bride back in the States. Stablized; but, the husband, after 10 days of hell, is walking a way.
Hopefully, I will be able to help my daughter pick up the pieces of her life.
This is just the highlights. I doubt anyone will believe the full details. Even those involved are having problem grasping the hell they have gone through.
I tried to explain it to my daughter this way. While she see it as a peace relaxing time with a moment of confusion. The 25 family and friend see it as them trying to pull up the husband as he is falling over a cliff while holding on to the Tasmania Devil in full fight - less we all fall into a lava pit.
Thanks for reading.

huggles, hon. I hope your daughter recovers
give her a huggle from me, if she'll take it.
Nightmare
I hope it all works out for everyone, but it looks a little unlikely from reading this. How sad.
