My Sister In Law once told me she was in awe, in how I have created my own world!

I am not sure she truly meant it as a compliment. In my world, things happen my way, which is to say not always the the way others would like it.

Being different, means I see life from what I like to call it "the other side." Sort of like the inverse of what everyone else sees.

As a private person, when people ask where I live, I seldom tell them, either because I don't want them to know, or they wouldn't understand unless they had been there. So I tell them "I live on the other side of the Rainbow."

Some people are searching for the gold at the end of the Rainbow. Gold never motivated me, but going where no man has gone before, "The Other Side of the Rainbow," truly makes life worth living.

Good point.

Good point of view. Write for yourself. Write for you own enjoyment.

And in a way, writing is creating whole new realities that you can share with others. Or, just to have, by yourself.

And it can reach a point that other people's opinions don't matter, one is just writing for themselves. Not to say such a person does not like compliments for their works. It is just that compliments are not the main reason for writing.

What I Like about Writing Fiction

I like when I write, I become God. Not "The God," But a creator in my own right. I have the power of life and death. I determine the emotions, actions and feelings of my characters.

For those who wish they were God, I tell them, then become a writer. Then you will know the joy, frustration, humiliation, suffering and a host of other emotions that God must be experiencing based upon his creation!

Does God Laugh, when does he cry, I know he loves, but what about despair and loneliness? Is God ever in Awe!
