Multipart stories

I'm about to post a 6 part story. Should I create a Book post (called "Organizer" in the right hand menu) to give a summary and to contain links to the parts?

Two Things

I've only done it once in the past half-decade, and I had to figure things out. Some people put the first chapter in their book page, and then put the following chapters as children of the first chapter. Others create a separate entry such as a title page, and then put all chapters as children of that page.

I assume that you can find your top book in the long list of possibilities. If it's not there, I think that New Author will do. (Again, sorry, I'm out of experience. I'll have to relearn the next time I begin a multi-chapter book.)

I just posted all 200+

I just posted all 200+ chapters of "Tommy" one at a time as individual stories with a chapter number.

As long as everything is linked

As long as all the parts of the story are linked together in proper order, I don't think it makes that big of a difference.

I use the organizer page as a title page for my stories as that is what Erin taught me when i first started posting stories. It isn't difficult and I like having everything consistent. I can also see where the organizer page could come in real handy for sorting multiple stories that exist in the same universe into a simple and easy way for readers to find all the related stories.

We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

Uhmmm . . . Chaos???

I've posted dozens of stories on BC during the last three decades.

I've never noticed "chaos."

This is a friendly place, which stops me from commenting further.
