Hi everyone!
Can somebody help me with a story in which two boys on the roof of a house make a pentagram, and do some magical stuff. And one of the boys leave the pentagram but the other stays and later transforms into a girl.
Their moms are also aware of the situation and help them along the way.

Plot 1
Group of local kids using a deserted houses attic space as club house.
Magic involved, not sure if there is a pentagram though, slightest boy changes gender.
Plot 2
Boy in parents attic (Friday night after school), searching through what turns out to be his grandmothers trunk, finds a parchment with writing on it
Monday lunch in the school cafeteria, 3 girls come up to him (now her) and say it was you wasn't it?
The girls know that he had changed gender as they are novice witches and were within a protection spell.

Boy is following in his dads footsteps, dad is a stage magician.
School talent show, his best friend is his sidekick on stage.
Mum and dad turn out to be magic users.

one of the best ways to figure it out
Is to think very hard about the contents in the story, it is not unusual for a magick based story to have some wort of author made up word, term object etc in it.... something 'one of a kind' a word that would likely not have or very little been used in another story, use the bcts search bar, place the word in it and click search... best thing I can think to do

All It Would Take indeed starts out with two boys doing what their mothers did years before. The story is now finished and located on BCTS.
