Should've started like this (Synopsis added)

I have added a synopsis (i.e. "Here's the story so far") to yesterday's and today's chapters of my fanfiction to "A Mother's Love". You'll find it just below the opening credits.

I should have started yesterday with this, as just recommending readers to go back and reread all 14 previous parts of Alys's story - well, it was daunting, I'm afraid. (Like I said yesterday though, they are short parts and read really quickly; still, I should have had a synopsis up when I published the first part of the fanfiction. It's there now though.)

Recommended reading for A Mother's Love

Hello again, Closeteers!

As I announced in yesterday's blog, the new fan-fiction chapters of A Mother's Love will be starting up soon (tonight or tomorrow). These build upon the original story by Alys (and can be found by clicking on her name at the Author's page link up top). Since there is a significant backstory to the fan-fiction chapters, I recommend pre-reading these parts of Alys's story before starting the fan fiction:

A Mother's Love - Prequel
A Mother's Love - Volume 1 (11 parts)
A Mother's Love - Volume 3 (2 parts)

Fan fiction coming on an Alys story: A Mother's Love

Hello Closeteers!

**Sigh** here. I imagine we all have our own fave stories here on BC, including some that were left unfinished (and therefore leave us yearning for more expounding and eventual resolution). This is through no fault of the authors of these tales; there are millions of good reasons they aren't finished (most having to do with Real Life Issues).

Weeping Willow update / personal life update

Well, hello there Closeteers. **Sigh** here. It's been 9 months since I've posted anything. But that drought is about over; I just finished writing the rest of Weeping Willow. 6 more chapters, and now this finally feels ended - unlike the way that I left it last March. I should be able to start posting later this week, then will post daily until done. Thanks, everyone for your patience!

Weeping Willow news

Hey, all. I'm sorry today's edition of Weeping Willow isn't up yet. I fell this AM and have hurt my arm; thought it was just a bruise, but pain is intensifying, and so now getting it checked for a possible bone break. So I may or may not get part 9 up tonight; I'll try. Again, I'm sorry. Pray that my arm isn't broken. please. I appreciate all of you.

Your opinion, please

For those reading my current series, Just Friends?, I'd like some input about these specific topics: pacing, disclosure and interest. In the latest installment (part 5) I received some comments that gave me the impression that I was pacing this story a little slowly; that the continued non-disclosure of the problem Rick (one of the protagonists) is having is becoming maybe a little frustrating to the readers. So all of this has me wondering if the above might be causing some to lose interest in the story.

Sacrifical Alter

Sooo sorry - I'm late in posting the last chap of SA. But it's coming! It will be up within the hour. Of course, life went crazy today. It will be a long chapter - 3x as long as the others; possibly more satisfying since the others were almost too short (I probably won't post like that again). Thank you for your patience.

Just added info to chap 2 of Sacrificial Alter

I was reading through chapter 2 for the 50th time; I had already posted it; and I realized I didn't address some things. So I added more to it. Not much but something essential. If you've already read chap 2 and don't want to have to read the whole thing again (even tho it's really short), it's in the last 1/2 of the chapter.

Yes, I know. Don't mess too much with completed stories. Remember Michael Jackson's nose after the surgeons messed with it too much. Did Picasso try to go back and fix a painting?

Hello, and my newest story explained.

Hello Big Closeteers! Long time no write.

Long time no LOTS of things for the past few years. As some of you may have heard, I had a leg injury and 2 surgeries with a complicated recovery. Was essentially crutch and wheelchair bound for a while. After that I had a more generalized health decline, causing a steady loss of stamina; I started cutting off more and more extracurricular activities because it took all I could do just to go to work.

Still a ways to go

So, I just went into a fast food place in a town of about 25,000 in a very conservative part of Texas. Heading to the loo, I saw a women's room, but there was a sign placed over the usual "men's" plaque on the other door. On the sign, in magic marker, was the word "UNISEX".
I was impressed. This sign makes it possible for trans people to use the toilet safely. In a small country burg.
But, there's still a ways to go for full equality. I can't help but think of all those poor male BI-sexuals.

They can't use the women's, nor the UNI-sex one!
