I am staggered that I've been around for 2 yrs and 21 weeks. It doesn't seem 2 mins since I posted the first episode of 'At last a life'.
I so enjoyed writing that story that obviously got a mixed reaction and reasonable attention bearing in mind I was new and somewhat of a novice. My latest story 'life's a Bitch' is a bit of fun that I hope will get me chance to reach the milestone of 10,000 kudos. Or is it kudai? I am well below the cream of the site but I feel I made a contribution and I've behaved and not been too coarse or too smutty.
I had to smile as I wrote some of the competition entries that I wrote. i really liked writing 'Sing a Song Mr Piano Man' and 'The Artist' that reminded me of the song by Billy Joel and the wonderful actress in the Artist.
The biggest thrill was to see comments from two prolific writers Angharad and Bailey and I only need to add Susan brown to the collection and I've made it.
That's not to ignore all my regular supporters Drea, Alison, Mel, Nina and even Ole who gets a bit frustrated with me sometimes.
I could mention many more and I won't forget Melanie who helped me reach 5000 kudos when I finished a story for her as a challenge.
Of course Drea and Alison spotted me right from the start and I can't forget the encouragement. i keep threatening to write Auntie Alison into my stories but it is just a tease.
Anyway it is just my thank you note to the site and the people for the opportunity to express myself and the hours of fun I've had. just to finish I can't not mention Dorothy who always has something to say in her blogs and to Sephy and Erin for their hard work.

I enjoy

encouraging new authors to have a go. Everyone should have at least one story in them. I'm glad to see your confidence and inventiveness is growing and look forward to more of your writing.

All good wishes,

Angharad

glad to know you find my little blogs worth reading. And I vote for having Alison and Drea (and me too, if you wanted) in a story together....
