Fo the last couple of days, I have noticed the top half of the page is in a smaller than normal font, and the lower half is about 4 times that size and in bold, and some of the stories are popping up liike that, at least in my browser, which still unfortunately a windoze product. Is it on my end?

It Seems the Same To Me
It has been opening up in the middle of the page the last several days, but is fine after I login to the site.
Caching
You've got some kind of local cache problem, try to clear your browser's cache and see if that fixes it. If not, it may be a stale or corrupted page in the proxy or ISP cache. Nothing I can do about that from here.
We cache pages on our end but we clear our caches several times a day to avoid long lasting problems like this.

all fine here but..
I did find a program running on my comp that shouldnt have been there and cancelled it . Virus scanner did not pick it up as one so who knows.
Wonder if you
need to run an anti-virus program?

All back to normal now
didn't have to change anything. I have an antivirus program, update and run it daily, as well as Malwarebytes which I update and run daily. I still refuse to use the windoze firewall and run an independant one. No ideas on this end. But I just logged into my email to check for the evening. This morning and afternoon, it was fine. Now, all of a sudden, the yahoo mail interface is totally different. No ideas there either. Guess my karma is out of whack. Two other people in the house use my firfox program and its harder to set up accounts there, like I make them do for windoze. Do have some stuff here they don't need to see, after all.
