Okay, so this is the beginning of a novel length story that I am planning on releasing a chapter a week, probably on Sundays. It may be a little shaky here at first, release wise as I am still dealing with the fallout of the death of my wife's mother and needing to take our daughter up to Ohio for school, so it is going to be a bit crazy for a while. It will calm down and the story will get to you guys.

This is only after one edit, fyi and this will help me decide if I believe that the story can sell to a wider market. If I believe it does, after the whole thing is posted I will give people fair warning that it may be coming down off the website. I was thinking a week to maybe a week and a half. But remember, this is only if I think I can sell this to a wider audience. If not, the story is going to stay.

So, feel free to relax, enjoy the story and learn a little bit of Anthropology.

Cultural Anthropology is Cool!

I only took the intro course and got a taste of the year 2 course, woah. It was a bit too intense for a year 2 course and I was in engineering so out it went. It is NOT a soft discipline and it takes a lot of skills to successfully be one as learning another culture ( and language, which of course entwines with culture ) is difficult.

I am so looking forward to it.

Yeah, I did a lot of intense

Yeah, I did a lot of intense research prior to my Nano in order to know what was in the discipline and what was not. Rutgers University is the best school in the nation for Cultural Anthropology, so I set it there. I looked into journals, famous scholars, read various papers on the subject of Amazonian tribes. I simply dove into the field and have been loving it. This got me into Ethno-Linguistics. Culture and language together again for the first time. Woot! So... yeah... I like the topic as well.

PS. There are various free classes on the subject on the web. Cool stuff out there for the taking.
