Can justify the unwarrented persecuation and assassination (murder) of an individual for being LGBT+ then I have absolutly no problem justifying the private ownership of weaponry for self-defence. That is one of the purposes of the Second Amendment to the US Constituation. Self-defence. And yes, I am properly trained in it's legal use if necessary.

What's killing us
Guns, knives, shovels and even fire extinguisher. These are the tools that society is killing us with. We need to defend our shelves as well as change societies view, that all that is wrong with the world lies at our feet. I will not be the sacrificial goat on the alter of vigilantly justice.

Regrets . . .I've Had a Few
I have very few regrets. But I do regret not having made enough money to push through an idea I had to mitigate gun violence.
Several years ago I wrote an article for a national magazine outlining how to greatly reduce gun violence. It did not gain traction.
I play the lottery with one goal. . .to win enough money to make that idea into a reality.
The odds of me winning the lottery are tiny. The odds of there being another mass murder today are nearly one hundred percent. There's been one a day on average all year.

Second Amendment
I have an aquaintance who is a strong defender of the second amendment. Not for any ideological reason other than that she hates Americans.

Isn't an American, then her opinion of Americans and our constitution is really none of her business. I've got more inportant things to worry about than things happening in her country. She should be taking care of things in her country. MYOB, lady! Perhaps if she wants to mind another country's business she could look into Russia's interfearing in the Ukraine. The US is only supplying material aid at the request of the lawful government. There are no American troops in the Ukraine, unlike the invading Russian troops.
