Over the weekend I was horrified to find that Susan Brown's Football Girl 1&2 and Changes are no longer listed on Amazon\Kindle. (UK)
While this isn't an issue for me as I have those books, I was looking for a friend, on both their KINDLE device, smartphone kindle app and Laptop
Is Susan alright?
I ask only as last time this happened to me was when "The Last of the Fey" dropped from Amazon\Kindle lists, while Denise's estate was being taken care of.

Football Girl and Football Girl 2 are on Amazon.ca. I don't ever remember seeing a book by her called Changes.
As for Last of the Fey, if I remember correctly, Denise took it down because she was frustrated that someone was sharing it publicly on a Google drive. That was definitely the reason that she didn't write the sequel. After her death one of Denise's family members came on line to let us know. Eventually the book was made available to Doppler Press, although I don't know if it was part of the will or if it was donated by the heirs.

sharing someone else's work on google drive is a nasty thing to do.

Agreed - publishing without permission is theft
I wouldn't be frustrated if I learned that someone was publishing my work without my permission -- I'd be furious.
It doesn't matter whether the person "sharing" has good intentions or has done it out of naivete -- it's wrong. It's not only a form of theft, it puts that version of the story beyond the control of the author.

Football Girls 1&2 Still there, far as I know
The DopplerPress version of Changes was taken down by Kindle because an earlier version was still available.
We haven't worked that out yet.

I have just tried again (I'm home again now), and football girl is listed on Amazon\Kindle. (UK)
The reason for the BLOG entry was that Susan's Author area on Amazon\Kindle. (UK) wouldn't show, though Several other authors named Susan Brown did come from a search on amazon.
