Well, it feels like its been a while since I have given a writing update, here goes:

Chapter 4 of "portal problems" is being written now. hopefully done by the end of the month.

Horror story "when paths cross" and its sequel are also being worked on. not sure how long to go.

Latest story about "Tinker Tailor Soldier Dot" is actually done, but waiting for Amethyst to be able to finish her Pinpoint story before it gets released, and a 5th story has been started.

"Siren Patrol", a story about a trans girl who saves sailors from sirens (because girls are immune to the siren's song), has been started.

"Succession", a story about about a pair of royal fraternal twins who want to swap places has been started.

"Rock Star Makeover: World Tour" - a sequel to one of my favorite stories, has been started.

"Games without Frontiers" - a story about a trans girl who after suffering sexual assault gets to go to a special camp for children survivors has been started.

2 new "Origins" essays - one on Captain Canuck, one on the Wild Cards universe, have been started.

Well, that's all that have been at least started. No idea when one or more might be finished . . .

Muse update indeed.

Your muse is working over time. With all you have going, I'm certainly a piker.

After ODR my muse went on an extended vacation, or where ever muses go to recharge. After a year of zero output suddenly, I have a story going, one story. Working title is "Full Disclosure" About a twenty something cross-dresser who thinks it's time to settle down. He's done his research and has been convinced since his late teens that when the time comes to pop the question, it's only fair that his intended be informed about the nature of his proclivity before hand. Over the course of the last five years, he's tried three times with three different women, only to have all three walk a way, if not run away. Is there any hope?

Oh in the other genre I write in I also have one going there. But I'm concentrating on "Full Disclosure" in hopes of getting it done in time for the Valentine's contest.

With all you and Daphne Xu have going, I feel like I'm really lazy.

Hugs
Patricia

I have one story in progress, Silver Lining, which is about half done, plus a vague idea for about 9 others that aren't anything more than general concepts right now. Some have working titles, but most are just some vague notions of a half-formed plot idea that I've scribbled down as a couple key words to remind me that they're there.

Compared to most of the great writers here, I feel like a lazy bum, even though I have four full novels, a novella, and a short story totaling just under 600k words. I'm trying hard to get back into my current story, which is supposed to begin being posted up on or around the middle of April, but I just can't seem to get back into it. I haven't written anything new for it since my nephew passed in late October. Every time I think about setting aside some time to write... I just end up doing something else instead. (housework, budgeting, etc.)

Looking forward to seeing the new chapter, Dorothy!

Roberta

neither of you are lazy

everybody goes at their own pace, and what's happening in real life can have a big effect on your writing spoons, not to mention just how much time you have to write even when you're in the mood.

You're Not Lazy.

I haven't pared down that list since I first posted it. It shows how slow I'm going. I still have the next installment of my BB sequel to finish.

(*Sniff!*)
