Hello out there,

It's been a week and as promised the Walker's Path Intermission is out!

Mind you it's only 1200 words long but it's sort of an official in-story introduction to Walker's friends. (And a little more)

I'm going to start doing a blog on my website after every chapter release. I'll link to it here after I release the chapter. I'll be giving insights as to why I wrote what I did and what my state of mind was like at the time.

I did one for the Chapter 9 here.

I may or may not do one for the Intermission. I'll think about it today because the official release of the Intermission will be tomorrow.

This is the first peek into day two of Walker's Path. I told you that I wanted a little feedback about this Intermission. Here's what I'm looking for.

Do you want the story to continue from where Walker wakes up or would you prefer it continue from where the Intermission finishes?

I've already started from where Walker wakes up and am something like five pages in. I could stop though if you're not all that interested in the circumstances leading to the situation he's in.

Anyway, it's something to think about. I'd like some feedback. If I don't get any I'll just keep going from where I've already written.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend,
Katherine

I Think We Need to Know...

...how Walker got to this point; skipping time at this sensitive point in the narrative doesn't seem like a good idea to me. After the intermission, we have a pretty good idea of what happened -- Walker missed the wake-up call, so to speak, and got roped into breakfast with the family and other overnighters -- but I think we ought to get Walker's POV on this development and the interactions with the others.

I have to say that I agree and it's the reason I didn't hesitate to start writing it from his POV. Maybe I just needed some reassurance because there was a time skip in the Intermission.
