Lifeline continues, as can be seen from today's post. I am also working on the sequel, 'Broken Wings', which is a few thousand words along so far. There may be an issue.

I publish my stuff here first, as it is where I started, and it has been a very welcoming home to me. A few years ago, I started to sell my completed books for Kindle, and I also have three of them available in paperback form. This site then became a beta-reading site, where those few who follow my work help pick up obvious clangers, including the time I very nearly wrote the principal character out of 'Cold Feet'.

The problem comes with Amazon's anti-plagiarism checks, and with each new book or format, I seem to spend longer leaping through their hoops than it takes to complete the actual novel. Accordingly, when Lifeline finishes, I may ask Erin if she wishes to start moving my stuff into the Hatbox, which might interfere with Amazon's checking (I have no idea if that is so). That will depend on how awkward Amazon get. Erin and Piper can testify to that! (Thanks, ladies, for your help)

If they get really awkward, 'Broken Wings' will only appear as a commercial book. I don't want to do that, because, as said, I owe a debt to this site. We shall see...

Very happy to hear that there's a new story following right on from Lifeline. I hope it gets posted here too, even though you never get the readership you deserve.
