She'd seen it coming. Ever since Harold Westlake had made his announcement that he would be running for President, Kitty had been trying to warn her friends and teachers just how bad things were going to get. And yet, no one was doing anything about it. No matter how much she sounded the alarm, everyone kept telling her to just believe that things would work out.

But things wouldn't just work out. Kitty knew this, even if everyone else had collectively decided to stick their heads in the sand. The evidence was there and couldn't possibly be clearer.

There was a war coming for the fey, and Kitty knew that if they stood any kind of a chance of surviving, she would have to do something to stop it herself.

I love Ashley's point of view the best, but Kitty's is always so much fun! Westlake should have made sure a genius didn't end up in the web of deceit he's spun. Add in Ashe and Angela, and this is going to be fun for the whole gang. Probably start reading it on my first break tonight, and lose sleep until it's done!
