In my never-ending quest to find things cool and awesome, I have discovered an amazing artist. If you're already familiar with her, yay! If not...

Her name is SJ Tucker, and her style is ... difficult to describe. Mythpunk, folk-rock, neopagan blues might be a good start, but she really defies category. The important thing is this: she is amazingly talented.

If you'd like a sample, check out the first link below for a YouTube video of her song, 'The Truth About Ninjas'. If you want more after that, the second link will take you to her site, where you can listen to her music for free, and purchase individual songs and albums. I've only just begun to explore her music, but already I've found several that I adore. 'The Truth About Ninjas' and 'Cheshire Kitten (We're All Mad Here)' are on her 'Mischief' album, and on 'Sirens' you will find 'The Wendy Trilogy', which tells the true story of what happened in Neverland when Wendy was abducted by Captain Hook, an 'Valkyrie Daughter', an epic tale of a father's love. (And I do mean epic; the song is almost 12 minutes long. It's worth every second though.)

I almost posted it to Facebook, but decided it was not mine to do that with.

Another Artist You Should Know

There is another artist you should know,

Dar Williams.

Dar is an artist recognized by a few LGBT factions, and to my knowledge has no links directly to the community for her self.
Christians & Pagans, show she understanding and erelevant tones to her works.

But, Dar's best work in regards to our community is, "When I was a boy" (hit or miss pictures) or "When I was a Boy" (better sound quality)
