2015...

I think something was posted in 2015 here but maybe it was under Itinerant. I wish she would say hi once in a while herself but I'm a BIG fan of Julie's stuff, both her and Jodie.

Common Misconception

Ok so when Juliet says "wherefore art thou" she's not actually asking where Romeo is but "why is he Romeo". Its a common misconception based on language of today. Lots of people make the mistake. I used to make the mistake before I was told.

I'm curious as to where Julie O is too though actually.

I can't help but read that

I can't help but read that line, and think of the Archie and Edith Bunker version of it.

There's a lot of Shakespeare (and other works from around that time and older) where the meanings of words and phrases have altered - and in some cases, completely reversed.

Of course, there are some phrases, like Sampson from the same play, that haven't really changed much. "Ay, the heads of the maids, or their maidenheads. Take it in what sense thou wilt."

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

I imagine her to be pretty old by now

I remember what I think was her personal advert in Tapestry (A TG magazine in the States) from 1985 so maybe she has retired or beyond. I would love another Defender type story from Julieverse and the one set in New Mexico but I must decline the rest of her offerings.

Her Story "Twins"

I notice that an old story of hers was posted by someone else, but (claimed) with the author's permission. Maybe the poster knows what's up with Julie O.
