There seems to be a disconnect between various parts of the site. There have been no new comments registered for nearly 3 hours and 'Home' shows an entirely different hit and kudos count to 'My Stories'. Even logging in seems to make no difference.

It's all working again.

I would hazard a guess that Piper is still refining the site. I know that when were were attacked that the site had to be nearly rebuilt from scratch. When it first came back up, there were still a myriad of things that needed tweaking to bring it back to it's original state. And that some things don't function for a brief time as she tweaks them.

Possible Buffer Issue
If nothing was changing, it's possible that you kept getting an old version of the screen from your buffer.
When the site first went down, I kept getting a blank screen every time I check to see if it had come back up. It wasn't until I cleared the buffer that I was able to see the restored front page.

I find that my log ins have to be repeated
So sounds like Piper is still tweaking and some of my comments were lost, ones I added to others blogs etc.
Feel quite good just did a talk online on dormice and had 70 attend and most stayed until the end and I overran.
