Special Disclaimer:
This story is a continuation of what took place in Rachel Stone story.

Maia yawns and stretches as she comes walking out of her bedroom in only a camisole and a pair of silk boxers. As she heads towards the kitchen to fix herself a cup of coffee, she notices Warewolf sitting at the dining room table with his computer running some sort of program on it.The cellphones they took from the men who tried to kill Rachel were connected to it.

“You’re up early.” She stops to see what he was doing.

“I never went to bed, last night.” Warewolf looks at Rachel’s roommate.

“You got to be kidding me. You stayed up all night working on this?” Maia couldn’t believe he did that.

“Yes, I’ve been backtracking where these men have been and digging through the data on these phones.” Warewolf was use to pulling long hours.

His other job when he wasn’t out playing mercenary, was working as an independent penetration tester. He owned his own computer security company.

“Did you find out how they learned about Rachel?” Maia knew a little about Rachel’s past.

How at one time, she uses to be a man but got injured when she was in the military. How she seriously hated Isis and was bound and determined to kill as many as she could.

“Unfortunately, they got a hold of classified information from one of our people. They shouldn’t have access to all the information I found so far.” Warewolf looks up at Maia.

Maia was younger than Rachel and kind of cute. She wasn’t what he was looking for in a woman. He preferred his women with more development.

“Did they get it from over here or over there?” Maia was curious.

“Don’t know, but I do know where they live. How familiar are you with this area?” Warewolf looks at Maia.

“I grew up here. So, I know this area and the surrounding towns pretty well. Why are you asking.”

“Because I need someone to take me to this address.” Warewolf shows the address to Maia.

Maia looks at it “I know this area. It's mostly industrial.” Maia has been to the area where the address was.

As the two of them are talking, Warewolf’s laptop screen starts flashing. A picture and report about a guy named Becker Thompson appear.

“Who’s that?” Maia was curious.

“One of the people those Isis member killed. According to this, he was found out in the desert shoot up and his wife is missing.”

As Warewolf is reading the report, the laptop beeps, and a file opens up. Someone had accessed a top military file about a person named Sara
Elizabeth Thompson. A picture pops up on the screen of the woman.

The pictured matched the one Warewolf had gotten off the cellphone. There was another name listed for the person which was Edward
Eugene Brown. According to the record, he had died while on a mission in Iraq.

Warewolf continues to read his service record and which military group he belonged to. He notices the unit name and taps his keyboard to see who else were in the unit, so he could compare names.

He stops when he comes to the name of Katie DeNoon. He knew that name from looking through the cellphones they recovered. He taps in
her name and her address shows up. He uses Goggle maps to see how far her address was from the site of where Sara and her husband were attacked.

He notices that they were at least forty miles from Mrs. DeNoon’s address. He looks at the report which was filed just yesterday. According to the report, only one damage motorcycle had been found. There were blood and the second set of motorcycles tracks that headed off from the crime scene.

Maia was reading over Warewolf’s shoulder. She wonders who this Katie DeNoon person was and why it caught Warewolf’s attention.

“Who is Katie DeNoon?” Maia was curious.

“She’s a former member of the same unit as Rachel and this other person. She’s also the cousin of a retired CIA agent and the younger sister of an LAPD Swat Officer. According to her file, she works as a test pilot for a company called Aero Flight Industries.” Warewolf has heard of them.

“Do you think the woman made it?”

“Yes, she made it. She’s currently at a hospital-owned by Blake medical.”

“Does it say who filed the police report?” Maia was wondering how the police found the body.

“According to the report, a private detective by the name of Cora Black found the motorcycle and Mr. Thompson.”

Warewolf also noticed the second alert had been triggered by a company called Black Angel Protections. They were trying to identify Mrs. Thompson.

“Do you still want me to take you to that address?” Maia wanted her coffee and there was nothing she could do to help with the investigation.

She still wonders why someone wanted to kill Rachel and these other people.

She knew Rachel had asked Patton to watch over her, while she was gone. She received a text from Rachel last night saying she would be back in two days and if she could pick her up at the airport.

“Yeah, let me freshen up some before we go to investigate the address.” Warewolf gets up and walks over to his duffle bag.

“Alright, let me get a cup of coffee going and get dress as well.” Maia heads into the kitchen to brew a cup of coffee and afterward, head to her bedroom and slip on a tight pair of faded blue jeans. She also puts on a t-shirt that had writing on it. It read I have nothing else to wear.

She comes back out into the living room with her coffee cup in her hands and her car keys. She waits for Warewolf to come out of the bathroom. While she is waiting on him, she texts a few friends of hers.

“I’m ready.” Warewolf looked he just stepped out of western with the way he was dressed.

“So, you’re a cowboy at heart?” Maia liked how Warewolf looked.

“Texas-born and breed.” A smile appears on his face.

Maia just smiles at him and starts heading for the front door. Warewolf makes sure the apartment door is locked before they head down to the parking lot and get into Maia’s car. When she starts it up, a smile appears on her face. Rachel got her car all tuned up the first day she moved in with her.

Global Courier Services:
“Hey, Aisha. When are you going to get a real motorcycle?” Andrew looks at Aisha as she stood near her Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic.

“I like my old motorcycle. He’s very dependable and a survivor.” Aisha buffs the tank of her motorcycle.

She loved her old Kawasaki motorcycle. She owns two of them and they had been fully restored. The second one she rescued from the original owner. The owner was going to junk it and she offered him money for it. She was glad her father taught her how to work on motorcycles.

“Well, I’ll take my new motorcycle over your antique.” Andrew liked his new motorcycle.

“Andrew, I got a delivery for you.” Chuck looks over towards Andrew.

“I’m on it, chief.” Andrew walks over to him to get the package.

“Do you have anything for me, Chief?” Aisha could use the money this week.

“Nothing yet, Aisha. You’re just going to have to wait until something comes up.” Chuck felt sorry for his newest worker.

She was new to the delivery service and would be the last one to get a delivery. The older couriers get the first choice of deliveries.

“Alright, chief.” Aisha sits on one of the nearby benches and wait.

Eight couriers worked for the company. On any busy day, she could get at least four or five deliveries. However, whenever it is slow, she would be lucky to get one or maybe two. She needs to find a second job that could make up for the difference.

Aisha takes her cellphone out and starts playing one of the games she bought. Every once in a while, she looks up to see if Chuck has a delivery for her. When he shakes his head no, she goes back to playing a game.

Two hours goes by “hey Aisha, I have three deliveries that need to go out. Do you want them?”

“God yes. Are they close to one another?” Aisha walks over to look at the deliveries.

“Two of them are and the third one isn’t. The third one is over in the industrial area.” Chuck figured Aisha could use the money.

“Okay, thanks, Chuck.” Aisha loads the deliveries into the black box mounted on the back of her motorcycle.

She had the address for all three deliveries already programmed into her cellphone. It was mounted on her handlebars so she could glance at it. She drives towards the first place and makes her first delivery.

Their order wasn’t very big. The place was a wedding boutique. Once she was done delivering their package, she heads towards second place. It was a kitchen supply and repair place. The package she was delivering was small and rattled.

Once she was done delivering the package, she looks at the last address. Chuck was right about how far it was. It was clear across town and it was going to take her a while.

Cora’s Trailer:
Melissa looks out of the window in the living room at the strange van parked next to Cora’s car. The person arrived yesterday afternoon at Cora’s request. They had dinner and she learned that the person’s name is Aviva.

She also learned that Aviva had heard the gunshots that night. Cora had looked up Becker Thompson and learned that he was married to a woman named Sara Elizabeth Thompson. She forwarded the picture to Katie to see if it was the same woman.

Katie informed her, that it was the same woman, but she didn’t know anyone by that name. She would contact her employer to see if they could identify the woman.

Black Angel Protections, Chapel Hill, N.C.:
Angela had been contacted by her Aunt Violet to look up a person. She just recently got the court restraint lifted, so she could work on the other case. She was still tracking down the people who had killed several of her uncle’s people.

She was getting closer to that case. Now, her aunt put her talents to researching who this person was. After about three hours of breaking through several protections’ programs, which were of military-grade. She finally gets into the military files. She tries to identify the picture she had of the woman with military records or retired military personnel.

After spending a little more time searching through the files. She identifies who the person is and who the person was. She also finds a picture of the unit she uses to belong to when she was a man.

Angela saves all the information and sends it to her aunt. Who in turn sends the information to Katie DeNoon. She goes back to locate the people. She wanted to make them pay for what they did.

Katie’s House:
Katie and Jessica were spending a nice quiet night at home. After spending so many weeks at the base and helping. They wanted to spend some alone time together. As for the woman they found in their house, Katie had called to check on her and she was unconscious. It was bugging Katie on who the person could be.

As Jessica and Katie are watching the movie. Her cellphone beeps, letting her know an email had arrived.

“I wonder who it could be now.” Katie picks the cellphone up and opens the email.

She starts reading the email and realizes she needs her laptop. Katie puts her cellphone down and gets up to grab her laptop from her bedroom.

“What was the email about?” Jessica was curious.

“Our mysterious woman has been identified. I couldn't read the information on my cellphone, so I’m getting my laptop.”

Jessica watches as Katie walks into their bedroom. She liked Katie’s ass in the thong panties she was wearing. She never gets tired looking at her beautiful girlfriend.

Katie comes walking back into the living room and sits down next to Jessica. She noticed the look on Jessica’s face “looking at my ass again?” As she leans over and kisses her.

Jessica returns the kiss “guilty as charged.”

Aisha finally arrives at the address printed on her last package. It looked to be some sort of import/export business. She parks her motorcycle and takes her helmet off. She dismounts and pulls the package she had for Mr. Kassab out of her courier box.

She hopes the people are in because if they aren’t, she’ll have to make another delivery tomorrow. She walks up to the door and tries the doorknob. She notices it is locked.

“Damn!” Aisha knocks on the door several times to see if there was anyone inside the building.

She finds the main loading doors and tries it. The main door itself was locked, but the side door was unlocked. As she walks inside the building
“hello, is anyone here?”

Aisha looks around the place, hoping she’ll find someone to deliver the package too. The place was awfully quiet and from the way, it looked. It looked like no one has been in the place for the past few days. She heads towards the main office, to leave the package she had there.

As she is walking towards the main office, she notices something out of the corner. She walks over to the room she was walking by and look in. There were pictures of people, a map of the US, and several other things that you would see in an NCIS or police show.

She saw the Isis flag hanging on the back wall. There were lamps set up on a desk with a stack of white copy paper nearby. She puts the package she had on one of the desks and takes her cellphone out to take pictures of the room. She should report this to Homeland security.

Warewolf and Maia:
Warewolf was driving Maia’s car to the address he had gotten from the GPS off the phones. As he gets closer to the address, he spots several Hondas and a few other middle-class cars. He also spots an old Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic motorcycle with the Global Courier Services logo painted on the side of a square black box mounted on the rear end of the motorcycle. He stops across the street from the address.

“How come to your stopping here, instead of in front of the building?” Maia was a little confused.

“Because, if someone comes out or reinforcements show up, I won’t be blocked in. You stay here in the car and keep an eye out for me.” Warewolf hands a walkie talkie to Maia.

“Do I have to?” Maia wanted to go in with Warewolf and see what was inside.

“Yes, I promise Rachel I would keep you safe. Also, you’ll be watching my back, making sure no one surprises me.” Warewolf gets out of the car and runs across the street.

Maia watches as Warewolf runs across the street and tries the front door. He finds it locked, so he pulls out his lock picks and unlocks the door.
Warewolf enters the building carefully as he looks around. He notices the place hasn’t been used for at least a week.

He continues to explore the place. He stops when he spots a young woman in a room taking pictures of it.

“Who are you?”

Aisha nearly jumps out of her skin when she hears a voice coming from behind her. She puts her cellphone down and slides it into her pants pocket. She slowly turns around and spots a guy she has never seen before “I’m a courier for Global Courier Service. I have a package for Mr. Kassab.”

“If you’re a courier, what are you doing inside the building and back here?” Warewolf notices what the room looked like.

“I came in through an open door, hoping I could find someone to sign for the delivery, so I don’t have to make a second trip out here.”

“Let me see the delivery, please.” Warewolf wants to know what it was.

“I can’t give you the delivery unless you work for Mr. Kassab.” Aisha wasn’t about to turn over the delivery to whoever this man was, she was talking too.

“Well, I can tell you now, that Mr. Kassab and his friend are dead.”

“Then who are you?” Aisha needs to know who this person was before she turned the delivery over to him.

“I work for a private law enforcement agency, investigating some mysterious murders linked to Mr. Kassab and his companion.”

Aisha doesn’t know if this man was telling the truth or not. She hands the delivery to him.

“I’ll need your signature, please.” Aisha pulls out the electronic signature pad.

“No problem.” Warewolf signs the electronic pad.

Outside the Building:
Maia didn’t like just sitting and waiting out in the car. She looks at the time on her cellphone and notices Warewolf has been gone for at least ten minutes so far. She wonders if he has found anything.

As she keeps watching the building, she notices a black cargo van slowly drive by the building. It doesn’t stop but continues to pass it and down the street. She slouches down in her car and takes a video of the van and the driver. She also notices there was a passenger as well.

“Warewolf, there’s a black van casing the place.”

Warewolf was about to open the delivery when he hears Maia’s voice come over the walkie talkie.

“Warewolf, there’s a black van casing the place.”

“Have they stopped, Maia?”

“No, but they are driving by slowly and there are two people that I can see. I’m ducked down in my car, so they can’t see me.”

“Alright, keep an eye out and stay hidden.”

“Will do.” Maia watches as the van drives off.

Aisha wonders if they were in trouble. Also, what all this stuff she found meant.

“Was that your partner?”

“Yes and no. She’s a friend helping me out.”

“Oh, well I better leave.” Aisha turns to walk out.

“You might want to wait, until that van leaves.”

Base Hospital:
Sara opens her eyes and notices she was in a hospital room. She had an oxygen tube attached to her and several machines as well. The last thing she remembered was passing out in Katie’s bathtub, with the cold water running to try to lower her body temperature.

She needs to warn Katie and get in touch with her old friend Rachel and warn her. She finds the remote to summon the nurse. She presses the button to summon the nurse.

Nurses Station:
Claudia was on duty along with Amy and Cindy. She oversaw their mysterious patient. She became alert when the buzzer for the room started to sound.

“Sounds like someone is awake.” Claudia heads towards the room.

Sara couldn’t believe her husband was dead as she waits for the nurse to arrive. He was the first man to accept her after she told him what happened to her. She starts crying as she moans about the death of her husband.

Claudia enters the room and finds the woman that had been brought in, crying. She walks over to her “everything will be okay, ma’am.”
Sara looks up at the young brown hair nurse “no it won’t.”

Claudia tries to comfort the woman. She could see how upset the woman was.

“Is there anyone I can contact for you?”

Sara looks at the young nurse “yes, I need to talk with Katie DeNoon. It’s a matter of life and death.”

“I’ll get a hold of her, right away.” Claudia steps out of the hospital room and looks over towards Cindy.

“Call Katie DeNoon and let her know the woman has woken up and needs to talk with her. I’ll contact Doctor Blake and let her know, the patient has woken up.”

“Alright.” Cindy looks up the contact number they had been given for Mrs. DeNoon.

Claudia calls Dr. Blake to let her know their patient has woken up.

Aero Flight Industries, Medical Hospital, Mountain complex:
Katie and Cora arrive at the hospital. Katie wanted Cora’s help in this matter. Jessica had flown them to the Mountain complex in Katie’s helicopter.

A flight team comes out to take care of the helicopter they arrived in. All three women start walking towards the hospital when a black jeep pulls up to them.

“Mrs. DeNoon, sorry for being late to pick you and your companions up. If you could get in, I’ll take you to the hospital.” Bradley had been assigned to pick Mrs. DeNoon up.

“It’s alright.”

Cora and Jessica take the back seat, while Katie takes the front seat. They head towards the hospital. As they were heading towards the hospital, three fighter jets fly overhead. Jessica looks up to see what they were.

She couldn’t tell how high they were flying. She wishes she had her binoculars with her. She looks towards Bradley “what jets were those that flew over us?”

“More than likely, they were the Vectors.” Bradley knew the Night Hawks were still in development. Only two have been built so far.

“Vectors? I’ve never heard of them.” Katie normally keeps up with the new development of new fighters.

“Their existence is kept quiet and out of the news. They are the next generation of space-age fighters.” Bradley figures since Jessica and Katie were pilots of Night Bird, they would have the clearance to know about the Vectors.

“You guys can fly as high as you want to. I’m happy just gliding down from the sky.” Cora didn’t think she would like to fly as high as those fighters could go.

Katie looks at Cora “I thought you were a thrill seeker?”

“Yes, I am, but I’m not that crazy.”

Bradley just smirks at Cora’s statement. He wonders what she does and why she was here with Katie and Jessica “if you don’t mind me asking, ma’am. What do you do?”

“I’m a private investigator. I was the one who found where Sara Elizabeth Thompson came from.”

“Oh!” That was something Bradley didn’t know.

He finally arrives at the hospital. As he pulls up to the front door “here’s my number, Mrs. DeNoon. Just call me when you and your friends
want to be picked up.” He hands them a business card.

Katie accepts the card “thank you, Bradley.”

Katie, Jessica, and Cora exit from the jeep and head inside to the hospital. As they walk into the hospital, they are impressed at how well design the waiting area was. They walk up to the reception area.

Standing behind the counter of the reception area were several women. One was middle-aged and had some gray in her hair.

“Can I help you?” Nurse Mildred looks at the three women that came walking up to the counter.

“Yes, I’m here to see Sarah Thompson. She should be on the fifth floor in the secure wing.”

“Your name?” Nurse Mildred looks at the three women standing on the other side of the counter.

“Katie DeNoon, my partner Jessica and Private Investigator Cora Black.”

Nurse Mildred checks the access list and saw Katie DeNoon and her partner's name but didn’t see Cora Black’s name. She looks up at Katie “you two can go up to the fifth floor. However, Mrs. Black, you’ll have to stay here until I get the clearance for you.”

“No problem. I don’t mind waiting.” Cora didn’t mind waiting for her friends.

“Are you sure, Cora?” Katie looks at her friend.

“I’ll be fine.”

“Okay.” Katie signs the sign-in sheet for herself.

She hands the pen to Jessica. She watches as Jessica signs the sheet.

“Alright ladies, you two can go up and see Mrs. Thompson. Mrs. Black, you can wait over there in the waiting area.” Nurse Mildred points to the waiting area.

“Thank you.” Katie looks at Cora “sorry.”

“No problem. Go and see what Mrs. Thompson has to say.” Cora hands a micro recorder to Katie.

Katie accepts it and places it in her pants pocket. She looks at Jessica “let’s go and see who our mysterious Thompson is and why she was at our house.”

Katie and Jessica head towards the elevator and take it up to the fifth floor.

Fifth Floor, Sara Thompson’s room:
“Well, your healing nicely, Mrs. Thompson, and your vitals are strong. You’ll still need to stay in bed for a few days.” Janet looks down at Sara.

“I shouldn’t be alive, right now.” Sara looks at Dr. Blake when she says that.

“I have to agree with you on that statement. You lost so much blood, that we had to give you several pints of blood. Also, I noticed some old scars in your groin area and on the inside part of your thighs. Can you tell me what caused them?” Dr. Blake looks at Sara.

“I received them on a mission in Iraq. I can’t tell you about the mission itself, but I was tortured by a sadistic person who enjoyed castrating people.” That was why Sara just went ahead and switched gender.

“Did you kill him?” Dr. Blake had heard stories of some of the torturers overseas.

“Not me, but a member of my team did. One of my team members showed him what it felt like to have his penis and testicles removed and shoved down his throat.” Sara recalls Sgt. Lucas cutting the man’s penis and testicles off. He forced them down the guy's throat.

“Man, you guys must have hated the person who castrated you.” Dr. Blake has heard what her cousin Sasha did to the guy who raped her niece Gracie.

She also heard what her aunt Janet did to the men that raped her older cousin. Those men got what they deserve for raping her cousin. They were learning what it felt like in a South American brothel.

“I wasn’t the only one he castrated. He did it to several of my team members and committed other acts against us and others as well.” Sara saw the other people the person either harvest organs from or did inhumane experiments on.

“Well, whoever did your SRS surgery, did a good job in repairing the damaged that had been done to you.” Dr. Blake had inspected the surgery done to make Sara look like a natural woman. She only knew a handful of doctors that could do that type of work.

“His name was Dr. Soon. He and his medical staff found us and fixed all the damage that had been done to us.” Sara had been surprised by Dr. Soon.

He was an older oriental man that had arrived, just as Sgt. Lucas and an older Aussie killed their captors. Dr. Soon and his medical team had been doing medical work in a nearby town when they heard what was happening.

“Did you say, Dr. Soon?” Janet stops what she was doing and looks at Sara.

“Yes, Dr. Caihong Soon. He and his medical team saved us.” Sara was watching Dr. Blake’s facial expression.

“Hhhmmm, my mother will be thrilled to hear he is still alive.” Janet knew her mother knew Dr. Soon. She joined his traveling medical staff for at least four years.

“Do you know him?”

“Me personally, no. However, my mother was part of his medical team for almost four years.” Janet makes a mental note to visit her mother later.

Just as Dr. Blake was heading towards the door, there was a knocking sound coming from it. She opens and saw two women standing on the other side. She turns towards Sara “it seems you have visitors.”

Dr. Janet turns towards Sara “it seems you have visitors.”

Katie and Jessica stop at the door when it opened. Standing on the other side was a person dressed as a doctor. She had short blonde hair and lightly tanned skin.

“We’re here to see Sara Thompson.” Katie looks at Dr. Janet.

“Katie, is that you?” Sara turns to look at the door. She couldn’t see anything because of the angle of the bed.

“Come on in.” Dr. Janet steps aside to let Katie and Jessica into the room.

Katie enters first, with Jessica bring up the rear. She walks over to Sara Thompson and looks at her.

“Who are you?” Katie looks at Sara’s face and was trying to remember if she has ever saw her before.

“It's me, Katie. Corporal Edward Brown. We were in the same unit together.” Sara looks at Katie. She was still the woman he remembers.

Katie’s jaw almost dropped. She couldn’t believe the woman lying in the hospital bed, was Corporal Brown. He was supposed to be dead along with several others.

“You’re supposed to be dead, along with Private Miller, Specialist Klinger, and the rest of that group. What happened to you and why did you break into my place?” Katie couldn’t believe that Corporal Brown had become a woman.

“The reason I came to your house, was to warn you. A group of Isis soldiers backed by a powerful sheik wants you and everyone that survived in our group dead. He wants you and Rachel the most. You, because you killed his youngest son when you dropped us off. And us because we attacked and killed several people related to him. Isis wants Rachel dead, because she has made it her mission to kill as many as possible. The whole operation was a mess and we ended up being captured. Rachel managed to blend in, but was captured as well.”

“Who’s this Rachel person?” Katie didn’t know Rachel.

“Rachel, use to be Sgt. Ralph Stone. You do remember him, don’t you?” Sara watches Katie’s facial features.

“Yeah, I remember him. He was the quiet one and was very good with a sniper rifle. Are you saying he has become a woman as well?”

“Yes. I became one, because of the sick bastard that enjoyed castrating his male prisoners. You don’t want to know what he did to his women prisoners.” She could still hear the screams from the women he tortured.

“So, how do you know all about their plans?” Jessica was curious about where this woman got her info.

“Because Emily managed to capture the people sent to kill her. She and her husband tortured the assassins sent after them. Emily’s husband
used to be an interrogator for the CIA.” Sara looks at Katie’s girlfriend.

“So, have you warned this Rachel person?”

“Not yet. The last I heard she was overseas killing Isis soldiers.”

“Do you know where she lives?” Jessica figures they might be able to go and see if she was there.

“Yes, according to the information we uncovered. She is currently sharing an apartment with a person named Maia Storm, in New York.”

“How well connected is this Sheikh person?” Katie wanted to know more about this Sheikh.

“I don’t know. I do know he has enough money to arrange almost anything.” Sara didn’t know much about the Sheikh that was after them.

Jessica was worried about Katie’s safety. Maybe they should head towards her brother’s or cousin’s place for safety.

Sara noticed that the woman standing next to Katie was concerned. She could see from the expression on her face. She also knew they
needed to get in touch with Rachel and warn her as well.

“Do you know this Sheikh’s name?” Katie wonders if her employer could do something.

“Yes, it's Shaikh Farooqi and he wants revenge.” Sara wonders how they were going to prove it was him and his connection to Isis.

“So, here is the thousand-dollar question. Why did you become a woman? You never struck me as leaning that way.” Katie watches Sara see if she is going to tell her the truth.

“It wasn’t my first choice, and it wasn’t something I planned on doing either. However, after what the torturer did to me. It made sense to just go all the way.” Sara figured it was useless to try and get a donor penis with what damage was done to her.

“How many of our former companions are still alive?”

“At least four. Me, you, Rachel, and Emily are all that are left. I do have a question, do you know if my husband made it?” Sara was concerned about her husband.

“I’m sorry to say, he didn’t, Sara.”

“No!” As tears start leaking from her eyes.

She may not have started to be a woman, but she did love him. She never told him she uses to be a male. However, she thinks he might have already known.

Katie and Jessica watch as Sara cries. They felt sorry for Sara and wishes things could have been done to prevent his death.

“The state police are going to want to talk with you about what happened. Is there a lawyer you can call?”

Sara looks at Katie “I know of one I can trust. Also, I know how my husband wants to be buried. I need to call our friends in the motorcycle club and my family as well.”

“I’ll speak to my employer about getting you a cellphone.”

“Thank you, Katie.”

“Before we leave, how did you know where Katie and I lived?” That has been bothering Jessica while they were talking.

“I have a friend that works for the FAA. He gave me your address.” Sara looked pleased with herself.

Katie just smirks. She should have known she could be tracked down by her pilot’s license.

“Well, we better let you get some rest. I’ll check in with you, later this evening.”

“Thank you, Katie.” Sara lays back down to rest.

Rachel covers up a yawn as she relaxes in the seat, she was sitting in. She still couldn’t get over what happened back at Sanctuary ranch with Mr. Bounty and some organization. She glances over towards Casey “what is your opinion about what happened?”

“I wish it hadn’t gone down as it did. Now, Mr. Bounty and his family are going to have targets on their back from that organization.” Casey felt concerned for Jack.

“How much do you know about them?” Rachel’s curiosity was piqued.

“Enough to not to get involved in their business. Still, I can’t wait to get back and see my family.” Casey was missing her girls.

“How old are your girls?” Rachel couldn’t see herself ever settling down.

“My oldest just turned thirteen years old a few months ago and my youngest, just turned six-year-old.” Casey couldn’t believe Maria was six-year-old and would be starting school this year.

“Man, good luck raising a teenager. I can remember my teenage years.” Rachel remembers how much trouble she gave her folks. How she went past curfew a few times.

“Oh, trust me. Nova isn’t like that. She’s an old soul in a young body.” Casey was proud of her oldest and what she has overcome.

“That’s good. So, what are going to do when you get home?” Rachel already knew what she was going to do. She had a mystery to solve.

Maia had informed her about what she and Warewolf had found. She also told her about a woman by the name of Cora Black that had stopped by to talk with her as well. When she asked what about, all she said was that she needed to talk with her. She had left a business card that said she was a private investigator from Utah.

After a few hours of flight time, the Lear Jet lands. Rachel looks at Casey as she is about to leave “it's been nice meeting you and working with you as well.”

“You too, Rachel. I hope we don’t meet like this again.” Casey smiles at Rachel.

Maia has been waiting for the private flight Rachel was on to land. She takes another sip of her coffee and spots the Lear Jet coming in for a landing. She watches as it taxi’s over to where she is.

When the plane stops, and Rachel starts descending from inside of it. She walks over to help Rachel with her gear.

“It’s about time, you arrived.” Maia was happy Rachel was back.

“I’m happy to be back as well. So, tell me more about this private investigator from Utah.” Rachel follows Maia to her car.

Base Hospital:
Cora sat patiently and waited for Katie and Jessica to come back down from visiting Sara. She closes her eyes and rests her head against the leather chair she was sitting in. She slips into a meditated state as a spirit appears before her. Images start flowing from the spirit to her and after a while, she opens her eyes.

“Cora, are you awake?” Katie and Jessica were standing in front of Cora.

They noticed that her eyes were closed and that her breathing was very shallow. Just as Katie leans in to check on Cora, Cora’s eyes open wide and had a slight white glow to them.

“What the?” Katie jumps back from Cora.

Cora looks at Katie and Jessica standing before her. Everything that had flowed into her from the spirit was still fuzzy in her mind. It was too much information for her to comprehend now.

“How long have I been out?” The last thing Cora remember, was sitting down in the chair.

“At least a few hours. What happened to you?” Katie was concerned about her friend.

“I just had a vision is all.” Cora wonders what everything was that the spirit wanted her to do.

“Well, I got some information from Sara. How would you like to go to New York and locate someone for me?”

“Let me guess, there’s another person that is endangered?” Cora walks with Jessica and Katie out of the hospital together.

“Yeah. I need to know if they are alright.” Katie figures Cora would be best to send because she would need to get clearance to take some time off to investigate this matter.

“No problem. I could use a little vacation, plus I have never been to New York before.” Cora figures this should be a good experience for her.

“So, before I listen to the conversation. Can you at least give me some idea about what I am walking into?”

“Revenge. Isis and one of their supporters want revenge on my former unit.”

“Oh, so what did you find out about the other person?”

“I think an in-person visit might be best. Find out what she knows and warn her about a possible attack.” Katie wonders if Mrs. Blake would give her leave to go to New York.

“Well, I can go ahead of you two and locate this other person and talk with them. Also, I think the spirits have a mission for me in New York as well.” That was the feeling Cora was getting from what the spirit gave her.

“How soon can you leave?”

“Give me a day to get some unfinished business done back at my place. I’ll go ahead and buy my ticket while I’m at home.” Cora still needed to deal with the ladies at her trailer.

“Alright. Let me know when you leave.” Katie could suggest a few places for Cora to stay while she was in New York.

“I will. Now, where is our ride?” Cora looks around for Bradley.

“I’m calling him now.” Jessica had plucked the business card that Bradley left them from Katie’s back pocket.

“Hello?” Bradley was taken care of an assignment he got from headquarters.

“We need a pickup, Bradley.” Jessica wonders what Bradley was up to.

“On my way.” Bradley ends the call.

Cora wakes-up early and stare up at the ceiling in her hotel room. She couldn’t believe she was in New York. She went to the address that Katie gave her and met a charming young woman. She found out that the young woman happened to be Rachel’s roommate and that she had
just recently heard from her. According to the information she received, Rachel was due back later today.

She gets out of bed and starts getting dressed. The hotel room she was staying in was at a nice moderate hotel that Katie recommends. It had a continental breakfast, which she was going to go down and try out.

Cora heads down to the room where the continental breakfast was set up. There were already several people in the room listening to the local news. The breakfast was set up buffet style and there was a chef in there to make omelets, waffles, or pancakes for people.

She picks a plate up and takes a few muffins and some fruit. Since she normally doesn’t have breakfast in the morning, Cora looks at the chef “can you fix me a waffle, please?”

“Yes ma’am.” Ted liked the exotic looks of the customer standing before him.

She had beautiful Native American features. He has never seen a pure Native American woman before. He could sense that there was something special about her.

A smile appears on Cora’s face as she watches the chef make her waffle. She notices how he looks at her. She wonders what he is thinking as he finishes making her waffle.

“Here we go. One freshly made waffle.” Ted lifts the waffle off the waffle iron and places it on her waiting plate.

“Thank you, chef.”

“Boyd, Chef Boyd.” He smiles at Cora.

“Well, thank you, Chef Boyd.” Cora returns his smile as she turns and walks away.

Chef Boyd watches as the young woman walks away. He liked how her cute little butt moved. He wonders who she is and what she did.

Cora walks over to an empty table and sits down. She could see Chef Boyd and noticed he had watched her. She wonders if he wouldn’t mind showing her around the city.

She eats her breakfast and when she is ready to leave, she walks over to Chef Boyd and waits while he finishes up cooking an omelet for a guest. When he is done, she walks up to him and pulls one of her cards out “I’m going to be in town for a while. If you’re not busy, give me a call.” She hands him the card.

Chef Boyd smiles at her, as he accepts the black business card. He glances at it and notices it has a fox head in the middle of it with her contact information on it. He notices she was a Private Investigator from Utah.

“I’ll do that, Mrs. Black.” He was going to call her.

“Good.” A smile appears on her face, as she walks away.

Mrs. Stone won’t be in until later in the afternoon. She might as well, check out the place the spirits want her to check out. She pulls out a paper map back in her hotel room and lays it on the bed. She takes a crystal attached to a piece of leather and holds it over the map.

Cora channels her energy through the leather and down to the crystal. She concentrates on what she was looking for and watches as the crystal starts to swing back and forth on its own. It spins around until it drops on the map.

Cora looks at the spot where the crystal drops. “So, that’s where I’m supposed to go. I wonder what is there, that is so important?”

She pulls her notepad out and writes down the streets. Once she gets in the area, the spirits will let her know where to go from there. She grabs her leather bag and heads down to the parking lot to her rental car. She inputs the street's name into Goggle maps and follows the directions.

She wonders what piece has been removed and from what tribe did it get removed. After thirty minutes of driving, she arrives where the crystal told her to go. She feels the spirits wanted her to turn right onto Cherry Blossom Road. The houses in the neighborhood she was driving through, looked to be owned by people with money.

She continues down the road until she comes to a huge mansion with a wrought iron fence going around it. She could feel that the spirits wanted her to head towards the house. She pulls up to the gate and presses the intercom on the small box.

“What can I do for you?” Harris Davis looks at the monitor and notices there was a young Native American lady at the front gate.

“Hi, my name is Cora Black and I would like to talk to the owner of this resident about some antique Native American artifacts.” Cora hopes
she can pass herself off as being a seller.

“I’m sorry, but I think you have the wrong residents.” Mr. Davis had no idea who this person was.

“That’s kind of strange, considering Mr. Hussle said you would be interested in buying some of the items I have for sale.” Cora hopes the person she was talking too, didn’t know Alec Hussle has been arrested.

“You said that Alec Hussle gave you my name?”

“Yes.” Cora crosses her fingers.

Harris presses the gate button to let the person in. He wonders what she had to offer. He hasn’t heard from Alec in a while.

A smile appears on Cora’s face as she follows the driveway up to the mansion. As she got closer, she notices how big the place was. She didn’t know much about buildings, but the place looked fairly new.

She parks her rental and walks up to the front door. Just as she is about to knock on the door, it opens. Standing on the other side is a middle-aged man, dressed as a butler.

“Mr. Davis is waiting for you in the den. If you’ll follow me, please.”

“Okay.”

The butler escorts Cora further into the mansion. As Cora walks through the place, she notices how expensive it has been decorated. As she walks into the den, she notices one side of the open space that allowed plenty of natural light to filter in.

Mr. Davis turns around when Cora and his butler Ralph walk into the room. He notices that Cora was Native American. That interest him because most Native Americans didn’t approve of their antiques and relics being sold.

Once Ralph has left, Mr. Davis looks at Cora “now, let’s cut through the small talk and get down to what you have to offer.”

“Very well.” Cora could feel the energies of the antiques and artifacts that were stolen.

“I’m very interested in these artifacts, Mrs. Black. How soon can you have these items brought to New York?”

“I have a private cargo transport pilot standing by. They will arrive packaged in furniture boxes, that way there are no questions asked.” Cora had a few ideas about how illegal artifacts were transported.

“Nice. So, how much is this going to cost me?” Mr. Davis looks at Mrs. Black.

“$320.000, half now and the other half upon delivery, Mr. Davis.”

“That’s a lot of money, Mrs. Black.” Mr. Davis was watching Mrs. Black, hoping to see if she was serious.

The thing was, he couldn’t read her at all. She was good at having a poker face.

“$260,000.” Mr. Davis was willing to pay the amount she was asking.

“Now the price has gone up, Mr. Davis. $400,000 for everything. I don’t compromise on the price. So, do you want to continue dancing, or should I just go to my next buyer?” Cora hopes he doesn’t call her bluff.

Mr. Davis looks at Mrs. Black and had a feeling she meant what she said. He normally doesn’t pay the full price on items the seller was asking
“fine, we have a deal, Mrs. Black. $320,000. Just give me the account number you want the fund's transfer to.”

“No problem, Mr. Davis.” Cora hands another card that had the number to an offshore account she had set up.

The offshore account was used for jobs like this. She sometimes transfers money from the account to another one to cover the expenses of her detective business. She watches as he accepts the card from her.

Mr. Davis accepts the business card and tucks it into his pants pocket. He was still suspicious about Mrs. Black.

“I heard you have a nice collection of Native American artifacts and I would love to see it.”

“I think that can be arranged. If you’ll follow me.” Mr. Davis escorts Cora further into his home.

Cora follows behind Mr. Davis into another room. There were all sorts of artifacts in the room. She spots the artifacts she was looking for. Mr. Davis had all sorts of pieces from various tribes. The amount of stuff he has collected was going to take more than her to remove. That’s not counting the other artifacts in the room.

“You have an impressive collection of artifacts and paintings.” Cora stops to look at one painting that caught her eyes.

Something about it spoke to her. She didn’t know what it was about the painting, but she liked it very much.

“Ah! I see you have spotted one of my favorites.”

“I have to say it is beautiful and well painted. Who is the artist?”

“A young woman by the name of Darlena Running Fox. She was a remarkable Native American artist. Too bad her life ended so early and nasty.” Mr. Davis knew if she hadn’t stuck her nose into his business, she would be alive today.

A shiver runs throughout her body as the fox choker around her neck tingled. Something about the way Mr. Davis described how Mrs. Fox died, set the choker off.

“How many of her paintings do you own?”

“Just this one. All the others were snatched up by her family. However, this one is the most valuable of them.” Mr. Davis was proud that he managed to snatch it when he did.

Cora makes sure to record everything she saw. The hidden camera in her necklace records what she saw. She also looks around for hidden security systems and such. She spots a few motion detectors and a laser system. Getting in will be a chore for her, but it will be worth it.

“I hope to hear from you, Mr. Davis.” As Cora shakes his hand.

“You’ll hear from me soon, Mrs. Black.” Mr. Davis escorts Cora to the front door.

“I’ll be waiting, Mr. Davis.” Cora walks towards her rental and gets in.

As she is driving, she tries to figure out who she can call to help her with this job. She was going to need several moving trucks and extra men to take everything. Also, she’ll have to be careful because of the neighborhood she was in. She couldn’t go through the courts or the US marshals because they would want evidence of Mr. Davis buying the items on the black market or from people she was pretending to be.

As for the other job she has to do. She hopes the information she was given by Maia was correct and Rachel was arriving today. She drives back into the city and stops to have some lunch.

After stopping for some lunch and looking over some notes she had taken from talking to Katie. Cora heads towards Rachel’s and Maia’s resident to talk with Rachel. She hopes Rachel hasn’t been killed yet.

It takes her about thirty minutes of driving to arrive at the address. She parks her rental in the visitor parking space.

“I hope Rachel is home and remembers Katie and the other lady or this is going to be a short trip.” Cora locks her purse in the car and heads towards the apartment.

Maia and Rachel’s Apartment:
Rachel was happy to be home. She didn’t mind doing the job Mr. Bounty had her do. Hell, if it had been Isis agents out there, she would have enjoyed it more. She takes her Go Bag and starts reorganizing it. The dirty clothes in it, she tosses into her hamper to be washed.

She replaces them with some clean clothes, just in case she needed to leave immediately. She noticed that Maia was sitting on her bed watching her.

“How can you always be so ready to leave?” Maia watches her friend.

“I’m not always ready to leave. It’s when it comes to Isis. I’m ready to kill all of them, because of what they have done. I hate religious
extremists and how they use it to justify killing people.”

“But isn’t that, their choice? I know what they are doing is wrong, but shouldn’t the people of whatever culture is allowing it, stand up to them?” Maia figures if that happened here in the states. The people would revolt and overthrow the leaders.

“They are scared to do anything against them. They have been condition to believe what is going on is the right thing to do, even if it isn’t.” Rachel wishes it were that simple.

“So, what are your plans now? I mean after you talk to this private investigator from Utah?”

“I want to know what you and Warewolf found out and if any more Isis sympathizers are trying to kill me.” Rachel looks at Maia with concern in her eyes.

“I hope not. You’ve been the best friend and roomie I have ever had.” Maia wouldn’t know what she would have done if Rachel hadn’t helped her out.

Once Rachel was done with her Go Bag, she and Maia head back into the living room. Just as they exit from the bedroom, there is a knocking sound coming from their front door.

“I wonder who that could be?” Warewolf had been sitting in the dining room, going over the papers they found.

“Let’s find out.” Rachel walks over to the door to answer it.

Rachel opens the front door with Maia standing near her. Standing on the other side was a Native American woman with long black hair. She notices that she was wearing a choker around her neck that had the head of a fox sitting in the middle of it. She was dressed in a nice pants
suit with a leather pouch that went across her chest.

“Can I help you, ma’am?” Rachel wonders if this was the woman Maia had mention.

“Yes, I was looking for a Rachel Stone. Is she available?” Cora had a feeling that the woman standing in front of her was Mrs. Stone.

“I’m Mrs. Stone, what can I do for you?”

“Well, Mrs. Stone my name is Cora Black and I’m a private detective from Arizona.” Cora digs her badge and id out and hands it to Mrs. Stone.

Rachel accepts the badge wallet and glances at the badge and Identity card inside. She closes it and hands it back to Cora. She wonders why this woman was so far from home.

Cora accepts the wallet back and puts it back in her leather pouch. She could tell that the young woman she met yesterday was standing nearby and that there was another person in the apartment as well.

“Would it be okay if I could come in, so I could talk with you?” Cora didn’t feel what she had to say to Mrs. Stone should be spoken out in the
open.

“Yes, please come in, Mrs. Black.” Rachel steps aside to let Mrs. Black in.

“Please, just call me Cora.” Cora walks inside the apartment.

She looks around and spots a man sitting in front of a laptop with several things spread about. Her nose twitch, because it was picking up a weird scent that didn’t match either of the people in the apartment.

Rachel and Maia watch as Cora walks into their apartment. Rachel notices that there was a grace about the way the young Native American woman moved. Her movement was more animal graceful, than human. She also noticed how observant Cora was as well.

“So, Cora. What brings you to New York?” Rachel turns around to look at Cora.

“A mutual friend of ours, Mrs. Stone. Do you know a Katie DeNoon?” Cora turns around to look at Rachel.

“Yes, I know a Katie DeNoon. We served together. You still didn’t answer my question.” Rachel remembers Katie from her days in the military.

“Do you recognized this person?” Cora brings a picture up of Sara Elizabeth Thompson.

“I can’t say I do.” Rachel glances over towards Warewolf and notices he was paying attention to them.

“How about this person?” Cora brings a picture of Edward Eugene Brown up on her screen.

Rachel looks at the picture and notices it was Sara’s former male self. She looks at Cora “where did you get those pictures?”

Warewolf grabs his gun and walks over to them. He was curious as well.

“There’s no need for the gun, sir. I was sent here to warn you that two Isis operatives are here in New York to kill you, Mrs. Stone.”

“They already tried and failed, Mrs. Black. That still doesn’t explain how you got those pictures.” Rachel wanted to know how Cora managed to get classified photos.

“Mrs. DeNoon manages to get these pictures for me. Your former army buddy, Mrs. Thompson is currently in the hospital recovering from
injuries she sustained from an attack. Her husband didn’t make it.”

Rachel places her hand over her mouth. She didn’t even know that Edward was still alive. She thought he had died on the assignment they had been sent on.

“Is Katie DeNoon in any trouble?” Warewolf was wondering about her.

A smirk appears on Cora’s face “they would have a hard time attacking her. She’s got connections in high places.”

“What is your relationship to her?” Maia looks at Cora.

“She’s my friend and partner in my investigation business. She’s the reason I’m here talking to you, instead of her.”

“Will she be coming to New York?” Rachel was curious.

“Yes, the company she works for is going to display their new Helicopter to the brass up here.”

“So, Katie has become a helicopter pilot. Who would had thought?” Rachel was impressed.

“She is a test pilot for the company she works for and does rescue and medical transport work as well. There is something I need to know. You
said the men tried and failed. How long ago was this?” Cora was curious.

“About a week ago. Why are you asking?” Warewolf was curious now.

“That’s about the time they attacked Mrs. Thompson. She’s been in the hospital recovering for about that long.” Cora figures they must have come back to New York to locate and kill Mrs. Stone.

“How is she?” Rachel was concerned about her former teammate.

“She’s going to recover. Has there been anything unusual since you killed the ones who came after you?” Cora was wondering if there were more Isis agents around.

Maia looks towards Rachel and Warewolf, before speaking. She was still thinking about that black van she saw when Warewolf was inside the warehouse.

“There was a black van that went by the warehouse those men have been operating out of. It drove by slowly like it was inspecting the place.”

“Did you get a picture of it?” Cora wanted to see it if she did.

“Yes, here.” Maia brings the van up on her cellphone.

Cora accepts the cellphone and looks at the video she took. There were no identifying signs or marks. She couldn’t see the driver or passenger, because the windows were tinted dark.

“It looks like there might be some Isis agents still around to take you out, Mrs. Stone.” Cora looks at Rachel.

“They are welcome to try. I wouldn’t mind adding a few more to my kill list.” Rachel didn’t mind adding a few more agents to her body count.

“Oh, there’s one more thing I forgot to mention. What do you know of a person by the name of Shaikh Farooqi?” Cora looks at Rachel and Warewolf.

“Nothing, why do you ask?” Rachel never heard the name before.

Neither had Warewolf. He wonders who the person is and why it mattered.

“Because he is the one supporting these Isis agents. According to what I told, your group killed his son and friends of his. Isis doesn’t mind trying to kill you, because you are wanted for killing their people. They also want Katie dead, because she killed his son. You and your fellow soldiers are wanted for killing his other relatives.”

“So, they are being financed?” Warewolf could track down the money.

“Yes.”

Global Courier Services:
“Hey Aisha, I have a delivery for you.” Chuck looks towards Aisha.

“Cool, I was getting bored just sitting and waiting, chief.” She puts her cellphone away.

She walks over and grabs the three boxes that Chuck had for her. She looks at the address and notices it was the same warehouse she went to before. She wonders what was in the boxes.

Aisha carries them over to her motorcycle and puts two of them in the cargo box and mount the third one on top of the box. She makes sure it is secure, before mounting her motorcycle and driving off. She wonders what the boxes contained and wonder if anyone will be there.

She was halfway to the warehouse when she runs into traffic. She maneuvers her motorcycle just in time to avoid being hit. However, the strap holding the third box on top of her courier box breaks. The box falls off and hits the ground.

“Crap! Thanks, a fucking lot you bastard.” Aisha pulls over and parks her motorcycle as she hops off and runs to retrieve the box that fell off.

She manages to grab it, just before a car comes by. When she goes to inspect it, she notices it was split open. When she looked inside, she notices that whatever was inside was wrapped in plastic wrap. She was curious, so she opens it a little and saw a hundred-dollar bill.

“Holy shit!” She wonders if the rest of the contents were like this. She turns the box upside down and shakes it.

A square of wrapped-up bills falls out of the box. She couldn’t believe how much money she was holding. She wonders if this money was being used to finance a hit or something.

She pulls a business card out of her wallet that Warewolf had given her and dials his number. If anyone would know, he would. She puts the cube back into the box.

Rachel’s and Maia’s Apartment:
Warewolf was listening to the conversation going between Rachel and Cora Black. He hears his cellphone ringing. He walks over to where he left it and picks it up.

“Hello?”

“Hey, Warewolf I don’t know if you remember me, but I have something here you should be aware of.”

Warewolf recognizes the voice as that belonging to the courier he met at the warehouse. He remembered giving her one of his business cards, should she come across something.

“I remember who you are Aisha. What can I do for you?”

“You won’t believe what I just came across. I was on my way to that warehouse where we met when one of my deliveries I had fell. When I went to pick it up, I noticed it was split open, so I decided to check out the contents. Inside was a square bundle of money of various value.”
Warewolf was curious when he hears this “how many packages do you have for them?”

“Three and I don’t know if the other two are filled like this one.” Aisha was curious about the other two boxes.

“Don’t deliver them to that warehouse. Can you bring them to me, instead?” Warewolf wanted to see what the other two boxes contained.

“Sure, it’s going to take me about thirty minutes to get to you, wherever you are.”

“I’m going to send you, my address. Get here as fast as you can.” Warewolf texts the address to Rachel’s place.

Aisha sees the address appear on her cellphone. She figures it should take her about twenty minutes if she uses all her shortcuts.

“I’ll be to you in twenty minutes Warewolf.” Aisha ends the phone call and secures the box better.

She mounts her motorcycle after sending a text to Chuck telling him she has another delivery. He reminds her to pay him when she comes in.

Rachel’s and Maia’s Apartment:
Aisha looks at everyone as they sat at the dining room table. Some of the people she knew, but she didn’t know the Native American or the other woman. It turns out that the other woman was Maia’s roommate. Also, on the table was the pile of money that had been in the boxes she was supposed to deliver.

When Warewolf counted the money, it came to five hundred thousand dollars. Most of the bills were in bundles of hundred-dollar bills. There were piles of fifties, and other nominations bundled together.

“Who would pay half a million dollars?” Cora was looking at the money.

“Someone who wants me, and the others left of my unit dead.” Rachel was looking at the money and figure they could do something with it.

“Why would someone spend so much money to kill you, Rachel, and your old unit?” Maia looks at Rachel with a puzzled look on her face.

“Some people over in the Middle East believe in honor killing and such. Since members of my unit and myself have killed religious extremists.
They want revenge in the name of their god for the killing. The problem is, this has been going on for centuries and it needs to come to an end.”

“It never will, Rachel. You have too many people who love power and don’t want to give it up.” Warewolf did a study of the Middle East back in his college days.

“Then, I’ll be more than happy to keep sending them to Allah or hell. Either place is fine with me.” Rachel didn’t like religious extremists or how they treated women over in the middle east.

“You really hate them, don’t you?” Maia looks at Rachel.

“If you saw what they did over there Maia and what they did to the woman who saved me. You would feel the same as I do.” Rachel still felt responsible for what happened to Dr. Sindi.

Warewolf looks at Rachel and knew she’ll never let what happened to her or the doctor that saved her life go. He knew that was why Patton wanted her to take some time off. She needed time to let things go before he would let her go on another mission.

“So, what are you guys going to do about this money? Also, do you think there is anyone at the warehouse I was supposed to deliver this to?”
Aisha was curious if the people were still expecting their delivery.

“I doubt they are still there, Aisha.” Warewolf had a feeling that since the place has been compromised. That it wasn’t being used.

“Why would you say that?” Cora was curious.

She has been sitting and observing everyone. She noticed Maia was just a citizen caught up in whatever Rachel was involved in.

“Because I left several small cameras there and I have been monitoring the place.” Warewolf figures it might be a good idea to bug the place.

“That was smart think.” Rachel liked it.

“I thought so.”

Aisha noticed what time it was. She had to get back to the office and give Chuck some money for the delivery she made up. She reaches towards the pile of money and takes a few dollars from it.

“I hope you guys don’t mind, but I have to get back to the office and pay my boss for this made-up delivery.” She only took a fifty from the pile.

“That’s fine. Why don’t you take a little more for yourself? I figure you might have missed out on some deliveries being here with us.” Warewolf grabs a few hundred bills from the bundle and gives them to Aisha.

“Thanks.” Aisha tucks the money into her pants pocket.

“Why don’t you give me the address where this money was supposed to be delivered and I’ll do some snooping around.” Cora figures she might be able to find something.

“I’ve already looked around the place. What do you think you’ll find?” Warewolf looks at Cora.

An evil smile appears on Cora’s face “let’s just say I possess unique abilities.”

That got Rachel’s and Maia’s attention. They wonder what Cora could be talking about.

“Are you talking about your detective skills?” Maia figures Cora must be talking about her skills as a detective.

“You can say that.” A smile forms on Cora’s face.

“Well, I got to go guys. Call me if you think I can be of any help.” Aisha starts walking towards the door.

Maia follows behind her. She was worried that the people who were after Rachel, might come after Aisha.

“Aisha, watch your back and call us if something doesn’t feel right.”

“Thanks, I will.” Aisha waves go by as she walks out of the apartment.

Warewolf writes the address down of the warehouse and hands it to Cora. He wonders what she’ll be able to find that he missed “here’s the
address.” He hands a piece of paper to her.

“Thanks.” Cora tucks it into her pouch.

“Let us know if you find anything, Mrs. Black.” Rachel wanted to know if there were any more Isis assassins out there.

“I will.” Cora follows behind Aisha as she walks out of the apartment.

Maia looks at Rachel and Warewolf “do you think she’ll find anything?”

“I don’t know, but she did find out a lot of information about Rachel. All that information she had on Rachel, should have been classified.” Warewolf knew that Rachels’ former name would have been changed, after her operation.

“I have to agree with Warewolf. It would seem she has some connections in high places. Did you find anything on her?” Rachel looks at Warewolf.

“She’s who she said she is. She’s registered in the four states that border where she lives and has been done work for the US Marshal service in that area. Her home address and office address are the same. It’s located on the Navajo Indian Reservation.” Warewolf did some digging around about Mrs. Black.

Aisha heads back to Global Courier Services to pay her boss. While she is riding towards her work. She thinks about the situation she has gotten herself in and wonders if anyone would be at the warehouse.

Cora heads towards the address to start snooping around. She was thinking about snooping around at Mr. Davis resident to see what his security system was like.

Aisha’s Brothers Townhouse:
Aisha pulls into the garage of her brothers’ townhouse. She stopped by work and dropped off the money to her boss for the fake delivery. She leaves her helmet on her motorcycle and walks upstairs to the kitchen area. Aisha grabs a cold bottle of water from the refrigerator.

She takes a sip from it as she checks the cabinets to see what was in them. She shakes her head at how empty the cabinets were.

“I need to restock the cabinets.” Aisha closes the cabinet doors and grabs her wallet.

There was a grocery store not far from the townhouse. It was within walking distance and since it was a nice evening, she didn’t mind walking. Aisha waves to the people she passed in the neighborhood.

The grocery store was owned by a small company like Aldi, and a few others. She walks into the local market and grabs a cart, after putting a quarter into the locking mechanism. The next hour or so, she goes up and down the aisles grabbing different ingredients and such.

Normally, she just grabbed frozen foods and ingredients, but lately, she has been watching some cooking shows. She wanted to try making some of the meals they posted the recipes for on their website. She makes her final selection and checks out afterward.

She kicks herself for not bring the folding shopping cart she owns. Both her hands were filled with bags as she makes her way home. She was thinking about the warehouse and the money she was supposed to deliver to it. Someone wanted Mrs. Stone and her former teammates dead.

Aisha finally makes it home with her groceries. She fishes around in her pants pocket for her house keys and finally pulls them out. She finally gets the door open and heads inside the townhouse with her groceries.

Once inside the townhouse, she put the groceries away and start dinner for herself.

Warehouse:
Cora pulls up to the address Warewolf gave her. She gets out of the rental she is using and heads towards the door of the place. She checks it and notices it is locked. She takes her lock picks out and picks the lock. She tucks her picks back into her pants pocket and walks into the place.

“Let’s see what you guys are hiding.” Cora pulls her fox mask out and puts it on.

She feels the mystical energies from the mask as it travels into her body. She inhales and everyone that has ever stepped into the warehouse register with her. She sneezes after inhaling the scents. The eyes of the mask start glowing red as she starts looking around.

Cora moves quietly around the warehouse. Her enhance senses help her locate a hidden weapons cache. She opens the hidden door and lets out a whistle.

“Damn! There are enough weapons in here to storm a bank.” She pulls out her cellphone and takes several pictures of the weapons.

Most of the weapons were of Russian and Chinese design. There were explosives and grenades inside the room as well. She takes pictures of them and afterward, puts the hidden door back. She does rig it, so it doesn’t open the way it is supposed to.

She leaves a little surprise behind, so if someone does manage to open it. She double-checks everything, before moving on searching the rest of the warehouse. She does find the mini-cameras Warewolf left behind. His scent was all over them.

Once she was done searching inside the warehouse. She walks outside and sees if there are any ghost tracks. She doesn’t know how long the place has been deserted, but she does find some ghost tracks.

She kneels beside the ghost tracks and takes a sniff. Her eyes glow brighter as she heads back to the rental and follows the ghost tracks. She must be careful because her eyesight is split between the real world and the mystical world.

The ghost tracks take her away from the warehouse and into Carrollton. She loses the tracks near a group of homes. She pulls over and parks her rental. She was glad that it was getting dark. The mystical abilities of the mask did better at night. She gets out of her rental and starts looking around. She manages to find the ghost tracks again and follow them to a ranch-style house.

It had a garage that was separate from the house. She moves quietly towards the garage and tries to look in. But the windows in the garage door and on the side of the garage were blackened out. There was a side door, so she tries it and it opens. She glances towards the house to make sure no one was coming out. She slips inside the garage and spots a black van.

Cora pulls her cellphone out and calls Warewolf’s number.

Rachel and Maia’s Place:
Rachel was relaxing and enjoying the Korean food she had ordered for all three of them. Maia was sitting next to her, watching a movie and eating. Warewolf was sitting at their dining room table still working on the material he found at the warehouse.

It’s been hours since Cora and Aisha had left them. Warewolf would take a bite from his food occasionally. Just as he was finishing his meal, his cellphone starts ringing. He looks at the caller id and notices it was Black Investigation showing on it. He picks it up and presses accept.

“Hello?”

“Warewolf, it’s Cora. I think I found the van Maia mention. Switch to video and get Maia, please.”

Warewolf switches over to video and spots a set of red eyes looking at him. He is a little taken back at the red eyes “who are you?”

“It’s me, Warewolf. I’m switching my camera view.” Cora switches the camera view.

Warewolf watches as the picture switches over and a black van appears. Warewolf gets up and walks over to Maia.

“Maia, was this the van you saw?” Warewolf shows the picture Cora was sending him.

Maia looks at the video “yes, that was the van.”

“Did you hear that, Cora?”

“Yes, I think I found the place the driver of the van is hiding out.”

“Give me the address and we’ll join you.” Warewolf looks at Rachel.

“Okay, I’ll keep them occupied until you guys get here.” Cora was going to have some fun with the men.

Cora puts her ear against the back door of the house and listens. She could hear movement inside the house. She did a quick look around the house to see if there were any opened windows, but all the windows had blinds. She pulls out an old fashion hand drill and drills a hole in the back door. She looks through but doesn’t see anyone in the kitchen.

She pulls her lock picks out and unlocks the locks. As she opens the back door, it was stopped by a chain lock. She pulls her bowie knife out and slides the chain off. She puts her bowie knife back into its sheath and slips into the house. She quietly shuts the door and moves towards the living room. There was barely had any furniture in the place.

She spots two men watching some news on a portable laptop and their backs were to her. She pulls her blowgun out and dips the darts into a morning glory mixture. She puts the coated dart into her blowgun and shoots both men with the darts.

Both men brush the darts out of their necks. A few seconds later, the men are experiencing an incredible high. A smile appears on Cora’s masked face as she goes about looking for the others. She spots one guy coming out of the bathroom. Before he could react, she strikes him quickly and quietly. She catches his body and drags him back into the bathroom. She secures his hands behind his back with a pair of quick cuffs.

Cora looks around for the fourth guy and spots him coming out of one of the bedrooms. She darts him like she did the two guys in the living room. She watches him as he falls to the floor all drugged out. The concentrated morning glory juice covering the darts was going to give these guys a psychedelic trip.

While she is waiting for Warewolf and Rachel to show up. She goes through the place, looking for who their next targets were. In one room, she spots the layout of some sort of building. What it was, she has no idea, but maybe Warewolf or Rachel might.

There was a stack of plain-looking paper sitting on a makeshift table. She picks it up and as she looks at it, the writing on it appears. She knew it was the magic inherent in the mask that was causing it to appear. The writing was written in Arabic and her mask couldn’t translate it.

She pulls some buffalo jerky out of her pouch and munch on it. She continues to explore the house as she munches on the jerky. She does check on the men she darted. They were so out of it from the morning glory, that they were drooling.

“I hope you guys are enjoying the trip you are on.” Cora knew what the effects of the morning glory did to the user.

One of the shamans on the reservation showed her how to make it, but before he did. He gave her some and boy did she have a wicked trip from it. She thought the dream she had when she was given the mask and suit was real. The experience she had from testing the morning glory, felt so real. She pulls the guy from the bedroom into the living room. She makes sure he is zip cuff as well.

Half an hour later, Warewolf and Rachel show up. Warewolf knocks on the door of the house.

Cora opens the door “hi guys.”

Warewolf and Rachel look at Cora and notices she was dressed in a skintight bodysuit. She had a belt that went around her waist. The buckle of the belt was silver and had a large Turquoise shape fox head in the middle of it. She had a pouch slung across her chest and lace-up knee-high black moccasin boots. She was also wearing a large bowie knife on her waist with a fox head-shaped handle.

“You have changed.” Warewolf walks into the house.

Rachel looks at Cora as well. She noticed everything Cora had on was of Native American style. She also noticed the four men when she
walked into the living room. One guy was unconscious and laying on the floor, while the other three were stoned out of their minds.

“What did you do to these men?” Warewolf was examining them.

“I darted them with morning glory essences.” Cora shuts the front door and walks into the living room.

“How did you managed to find them?” Warewolf was suspicious of Cora.

“I wish I could tell you. All I can tell you, is I’m very good at finding people and things.” Cora couldn’t tell him it was because of the mystical nature of her mask.

“So, what else did you find?” Rachel wanted to know what Cora found.

“In here.” Cora leads Rachel and Warewolf into the bedroom that had the blueprints and list of names.

Rachel and Warewolf walk into the room and stop when they see the blueprints and names. Rachel walks over to the make-shift table and looks at the stack of papers that had Arabic writing on them.

“Did you find these papers like this?” Warewolf looks at Cora for an answer.

“No, my mask made the invisible ink they were written in appear. The problem is, I can’t read Arabic.”

“It’s a good thing I do.” Warewolf looks at the first few pages.

Rachel was looking at the building blueprint on the wall. Something about it seem familiar to her.

“Warewolf, doesn’t this look like the VA center in Salamanca, NY.?” Rachel has visited the place a few times.

Warewolf turns around and looks at the blueprints “now that I think about it, it does.” He walks over and stands next to Rachel.

“Do you think they were going to attack the VA center?” Cora was curious.

“It's possible. We need to find out what their plans were.”

“Well, you have four people in the living room you can interrogate.” Cora motions towards the living room.

“I think we better call Patton and Hondo.” Rachel figures Hondo would be able to extract the information they need better than she could.

“Yeah, we better get the boss and Hondo in on this.” Warewolf pulls his cellphone out and texts both men.

A few minutes later, he receives a response from both men. He looks at Rachel “they’ll be here in about an hour.”

“How long does the drug last that you gave them?” Rachel looks at Cora.

“Two hours. I have more, but I wouldn’t recommend giving them anything extra.”

“Why’s that?” Warewolf was curious.

“Because the effects are like LSD. All you will be doing is keeping them high as a kite.”

“At least they wouldn’t be able to resist our questions.” Rachel didn’t mind that.

“If they can. I do know of a plant that will make them cooperate.” Cora has been studying under a shaman lately.

“Oh? What would you recommend?” Warewolf wanted to know.

“A concentrated dose of Devil’s Breath. It will loosen their tongues.” Cora had some in a vial in her pouch.

“We’ll see what Hondo and Patton say when they get here.” Rachel will let Hondo make the decision.

“Well, while we are waiting for them. I’ll dive into the laptop and see what I can find.” Warewolf goes and gets the laptop.

After an hour, two men Cora didn’t know show up. One looked to be a weathered older man. When she looks at him, shivers travel down her spine. She got the feeling that he wasn’t someone that you wanted to come after you. He also had an air of authority about him as well.

His companion on the other hand was a muscular bald head black guy. He reminded her of the actor LL Cool J from NCIS: Los Angeles. She wonders what the relationship was between the two men and Rachel.

Rachel notices Cora watching Patton and Honda as they entered the house. Cora had her head tilted to the side as an animal would. She also noticed while they were waiting for Patton and Honda, that Cora didn’t act as a normal person would. Her body language was all off. She didn’t move as a normal woman would.

“Boss, I would like for you to meet Cora Black. She’s a private detective from Utah. An old army buddy of mine sent her to check-up on me.”

Patton looks at the Native American woman dressed in a black skintight bodysuit. He notices that everything on her body was of Native American design.

“Which tribe are you from, Mrs. Black?” Patton was curious about her.

“Sisseton, Tribe.”

“So, that makes you Dakota.” Honda knew a few Native Americans.

“Yes, my detective agency is located on the reservation.”

“How did you learn about Rachel being in danger?” Patton was curious about Cora’s involvement in this matter.

“A mutual friend of ours had a visit from a member of Rachel’s army company. According to what was told to me, everyone thought this person was dead.” Cora kept her attention on Patton.

Patton looks at Rachel for an answer “who is Mrs. Black talking about, Rachel?”

“Corporal Edward Brown, Patton. We use to be in the same unit. Everyone thought he was dead, but that’s not what happened. He had SRS
surgery to become a woman.”

“Like you?” Patton knew Rachel wasn’t a natural woman. She had been saved by a female doctor over Pakistan.

“Something like that. Corporal Brown and several others had been captured and tortured by a sadistic person. He had the habit of cutting off his enemy genital.”

“So, why did you come to find Rachel Stone, Mrs. Black?” Honda was curious.

“Remember the men that came to my motorcycle shop who tried to kill me?”

“Yeah, I remember.” Honda had fun with them.

“They were the same men who went after Corporal Brown and his husband.”

“They also were supposed to go after Katie DeNoon, but she is too well protected.” Cora knew going after Katie meant an encounter with Night Bird.

“So, you were sent out here by this Katie DeNoon to find Rachel and warn her.” Honda could see the reasoning in that.

“Yes. However, no one knew that other Isis cells were operating out of the warehouse.” Warewolf thought he would add what he knew to the conversation.

“And you tracked them down to this house?” Patton was still looking at Cora.

“Yes, I have a unique ability to track and find anything I’m going after.” Cora couldn’t tell Patton that her Native American-made mask gave her mystical abilities.

“Okay, I can live with that.” Patton was still suspicious, but so far Cora has proven herself.

“Now, where should we do the interrogation?” Honda rubs his hands together.

“Let me try something.” Cora looks at Honda.

“Have you ever interrogated anyone, before?”

“No, but I think my way is going to be a little less messy and harmful to our victim.” Cora has been getting a feeling from the gods.

“Alright, but if your way doesn’t work. We do things my way.” Honda was willing to give Cora a chance.

“Deal. Now, let's tie.” Cora looks at the four men and when her gaze passes over the third person “him.”

“Okay.” Honda gets one of the chairs in the place and ties the person Cora pointed at to it.

Honda makes sure the person is secured, before stepping away from the third person. He spots Cora pulling a wooden fox shape mask out of the pouch slung on her shoulder.

“What’s that?”

“My secret weapon.” Cora places the mask on her face.

The mystical energies cause the mask to glow for a second as it wraps itself completely around her head. The mask transforms from wood to fur and flesh.

“Now, let’s see what he knows.” Cora walks over to the man and looks directly into his eyes.

Cora enters directly into the man’s mind. At first, there was darkness, but things start to change around her. She hovers above a sandy ground as she watches the person, whose mind she entered trained. He wasn’t in Pakistan, but some training ground in Mexico.

There were others here at the training grounds training as well. They were all doing what a man dresses in military gear told them to do. She could tell he was from Pakistan.

“This isn’t what I am looking for.” However, before she pushes deeper into the man’s thoughts. She finds out where this training camp is located.

Cora pushes deeper into the guy’s mind. She could feel he was trying to resist her intrusion.

“Resistance Is Futile!” Cora pushes further into the guy’s mind.

She locates the information about the VA center, along with several other targets that had been selected. One of the operations was the bombing of the local federal courthouse. It was planned to take place in two days. The VA center was scheduled to go down at the same time.

These men weren’t the ones taking part in it. They were supposed to deliver the money that had been sent and set everything up. The explosive they had constructed, had been placed next to the main gas line going to the VA center.

The bombing was in retaliation for a village under Isis control that had been taken from them by the US. They wanted revenge and killing
wounded military personnel would hurt the US.

“What else are you trying to hide from me?” Cora pushes deeper into the man’s mind.

Cora pulls out of the guy’s mind and removes her mask. She was a little shaken by what she saw inside his head. She looks at the three guys and Rachel “I am never doing that again.”

“Why is that?” Rachel was curious about what Cora saw.

“The things these clowns believe in and the rewards they will get when they die is sickening. Why doesn’t someone put all these religious nuts down once and for all and destroy their stupid religious teaching?” Cora couldn’t get what she saw out of her head.

“That’s why there has been a war over in the middle east for so long. Religion has been one of the major causes of every war over there.
That’s not counting how people have tried to use it to keep control of the masses over there.” Rachel hated the constant wars and what was done to women. They used their religious belief to justify what they did.

“I don’t care. I don’t want to ever see what I saw again.” Cora couldn’t believe the man’s mind she had been in, had raped a ten-year-old girl.

“What did you find out?” Hondo looks at Cora for an answer.

“They plan on blowing up several locations at once. These guys aren’t the ones who were going to do the dirty deed. They were just acting as couriers and suppliers. They already have the explosives set up at the VA center and the Federal Courthouse.”

“Where at?” Patton wanted to know.

“Near the main gas line coming into the building.” Cora pulls a canteen out of her messenger bag and takes a sip from it.

“Do you know who else they are targeting?”

“Yes, but I have a feeling we’re going to be too late saving the life of the other members from Rachel’s unit.” Cora looks towards Patton and Hondo when she makes that statement.

“Why’s that?” Rachel looks towards Cora for an answer.

“Because they have already gone after the ones they could find. They have a mole helping them in Social Security main office.” Cora had learned that much information.

“Do you know who it is?” Patton wanted to know because he knew someone that might be able to help.

“Unfortunately, no. He didn’t know who the person was. However, he received the information from their handler at the local mosque. The other informants at several other mosques as well.”

“How big is their network?” Patton couldn’t believe that Isis has managed to establish a network of spies and fighters in the US.

“This guy only knew a few of the players. If you want to find out more. We need to go after the others involved.”

“Do you know how to find the others involved?” Hondo wanted to pass that information onto a few friends of his in the FBI and the NSA.

“I can give you a description of what he looks like and what name this guy knows him by.” Cora puts her canteen back into her messenger bag.

“Well, Patton, what do you want to do?” Hondo looks at their boss.

“Call our contact at the FBI and leave these guys tied up.” Patton figures there was enough evidence in the house alone to convict these guys.

“What about the explosives?” Cora looks at Patton for an answer to her question.

“The guys at the FBI can handle the VA and the Courthouse. We’ll go after the other guys.” Patton wanted the ones responsible for setting the explosives up.

“Okay, well I’m going to go ahead and call it a night.” Cora covers up a yawn. She was still feeling creeped out about what she had seen inside the guy’s head.

“I’ll be in touch with you, Mrs. Black.” Rachel wonders what else Cora knew.

“Sounds good to me. Well, I’ll see you guys later.” Cora walks out of the house and over to her rental.

She had one more stop she wanted to make tonight. She needed to find out how good security was at Mr. Davis’s place. She gets in and heads towards his resident.

Rachel watches Cora as she walks out of the house towards her rental. She wonders what was with that mask of hers and what else Cora learned or saw.

“Do you have reservations about Mrs. Black?” Warewolf had come out to see what Rachel was doing.

“No, just questions about that mask of hers and what else she learned while she was inside that guy’s head?”

“Maybe you should contact Katie and find out what she knows about Mrs. Black.

“I think your right.” Rachel has been thinking about doing that.

Mr. Davis several Hours Later:
Cora drops from the sky onto the roof of Mr. Davis's place. She moves silently along the rooftop of the mansion. She slides down until she comes to an upper bedroom window and checks to see if it has an alarm system, which it doesn’t. The window itself was locked, so she pulls out a tool to open the window. She was only going to scout the place out tonight.

She manages to sneak inside the mansion and closes the window again. She makes sure anything she moved, is put back like it was. She checks the hallway to make sure it was cleared.

Cora slips out of the bedroom and slowly makes her way downstairs to the room where all the artifacts were. She could tell with the special properties of the mask, that there was a laser security system and motion detectors in the room.

Cora looks around for the control panel that controls the security system and finds its in Mr. Davis’s office. Not only was the security control panel was in the office, but the camera monitor system as well. She sits down and rewinds the video for the night. She spots Mr. Davis and his driver leaving earlier in the night. According to the video file, he hasn’t returned yet.

She takes a thumb drive out of her messenger bag and plugs it into the USB port. There was specialized software on it, that allows her to access the computer remotely and to copy whatever files she wanted. She watches as the thumb drive downloads the files and security videos that are stored on the computer.

While the thumb drive is downloading the information from the computer. She does some more exploring of the mansion while avoiding the security systems. Most of them were on the windows and doors. She moves quietly throughout the mansion and locates the main bedroom.

She walks into the room and looks around. He had some expensive artwork in the room. She looks behind one picture and spots a safe. It had a thumbprint reader on it. A smile appears on her face, as she looks around the bedroom. The master bathroom had a cup in it. She lets the magical properties of the mask, help her locate a fingerprint.

Once she locates the thumbprint and Cora makes a copy of it. She heads back to the bedroom and uses it to open the safe. There was a lot of money inside the safe. She removes a few hundred out of the safe, after taking a picture of the contents.

She closes the safe and heads back to the office to check on the thumb drive. It had finished everything she wanted and installing the software she’ll need to remote access the computer. Before she leaves, she makes sure everything is back like it was, when she broke in.

She takes one more look, before leaving. She knows Mr. Davies will be home soon.

Cora makes her way back to her hotel room and takes off her outfit. She pours herself a drink and sits down at the small table. She was going to need help moving all the Native American artifacts that Mr. Davis acquired. She takes a sip of her drink and thinks about how she was going to move everything.

She knows she will need a cargo box truck to move the items. Also, she was going to need extra muscle as well. She takes out her little black book and looks up Katie’s number. Maybe she knows someone up here in New York that could help her.

Katie’s House:
Katie and Jessica were on their way to the airfield when Katie’s cellphone rings. She looks at the number and notices it was Cora’s number.
She wonders why Cora was up late. There was a three-hour difference in time between her and New York.

She presses accept on her cellphone “what’s wrong Cora?”

“Nothing is wrong, but I could use some help. I got in contact with your old Army buddy and she should be calling you soon.”

“That’s good. Is there anything else?” Katie had a feeling that there was more.

“Yea, the spirits want me to take back some Native American artifacts that were illegally acquired. I was wondering if you know of anyone I could recruit to help me move them?”

“Hhhmm? I might know someone I can call. Let me call you back after I find out if they can help or not.” Katie was thinking about calling her cousin and seeing if any of his teammates could help Cora.

“Alright, let me know. I’m going to lay down and get some sleep.” Cora covers up a yawn.

“I should be in New York when you wake up. I’ll let you know what hotel I am staying at. Also, send me the information about Rachel as well.” Katie wanted to see her again.

“Okay.” Cora sends the information she has on Rachel. She could understand why Katie wanted to see her.

“See you when you get here.”

“You too.” Cora ends the call.

Cora starts getting ready for bed. She covers up another yawn as she lays down on the bed. She hopes Katie will come through for her.

Rachel’s and Maia’s Place:
When morning time arrives, Rachel stumbles out of her bedroom and tries not to trip over Hondo. He had camped out on her floor last night after they came back from the house. Patton had taken the sofa and Warewolf had taken Maia’s bedroom, while she slept with Rachel.

She manages to make her way to the kitchen without tripping over anyone. She starts making a pot of coffee for everyone. Patton had already called the rest of the gang. They were going to stop the suppliers.

Maia comes walks into the kitchen and spots Rachel. She looks at her roomie “we need a bigger apartment if your friends are going to spend the night.”

“It’s not going to be a common practice, Maia.” Rachel looks at Maia when she says that.

“Oh, don’t get me wrong, Rachel. I don’t mind being surrounded by a bunch of hot-looking dangerous men. I just don’t want to trip over them.” Maia thought some of Rachel’s friends were hot.

“They all have girlfriends, except for Patton.” Rachel knew Warewolf was dating a nurse. She was a pretty little thing.

“So, are you and your friends going after the suppliers?” Maia grabs her coffee cup and pours some sugar and creamer into it.

“Yes. Patton wants these guys and so do I. Killing military vets is a big no, no in his book and my book.” Rachel wants to pay these people back for thinking about doing what they planned.

“I can understand that.” Maia knew how serious Rachel was and when she set her mind to something. She was going to carry it out.

After the coffee was brewed, Maia grabs some muffins mix from the cabinets and goes about making them. She hopes the guys enjoy them. She glances towards Rachel when she hears her cellphone start ringing.

Rachel was sitting on the folding step ladder they keep the kitchen for Maia to use. As she was sitting there, she hears her cellphone ringing. She looks at the number and notices it was Katie DeNoon.

“Hello?”

“Rachel?” Katie didn’t recognize the voice.

“Yes, what can I do for you, Mrs. DeNoon.” Rachel was wondering why Katie was calling her.

“I was wondering if you’re free this morning?” Katie wanted to see her old friend from her old unit.

“Sure, where you like to meet?” Rachel wouldn’t mind seeing Katie was like she remembered.

“How about we meet at the Rosie’s Tea House around Noon?” Katie had already located a place that was near Rachel to meet with her.

“That’s fine. How will I know it's you?” Rachel couldn’t remember if she had a picture of Katie.

“I’ll send you a picture of myself.” Katie sends a picture of herself to Rachel.

Rachel notices that an image had been transmitted to her cellphone. She looks at the picture and recognizes the woman right away. That was Katie DeNoon alright. She knew she had a cousin that was a former CIA agent.

“Alright, I’ll meet you there tomorrow at noon.”

“Until then. I’ll see you later.” Katie ends the phone call.

Maia looks at Rachel “was that your friend?”

“Yes, we’re meeting later down at Rosie’s Tea House.” Rachel takes a sip of her coffee.

“Can you trust her?” Maia didn’t want to lose her friend.

“I can trust, her. Katie wouldn’t set me up.” Rachel shows Maia the picture Katie sent her.

It was a group picture from when they served together. Katie was standing next to a mutual friend of theirs. There was also a second picture, which was more up-to-date, so Rachel would know who she was.

Terry’s Garage:
Rebecca was sitting at Dakota’s desk working on the bills when the telephone starts ringing. She stops what she is doing and picks the receiver up.

“Hello, Terry’s Garage. Rebecca speaking.”

“Hi, Rebecca. I’m Cora Black and I would like to talk to a Terry Horn, please.” Cora had spoken to Katie and she gave her the number to her cousin in Texas.

According to Katie’s cousin, he had a person that he works with that lives in New York. He might be able to help her out. Bart had said to just tell his friend that she was working with his cousin from Arizona.

“Can you please hold, while I get him for you?” Rebecca knew her father was in the garage.

“Sure, I’ll hold.” Cora didn’t mind holding.

Rebecca puts Mrs. Black on hold as she walks into the garage area. She was still getting used to her new body. She couldn’t believe how stupid she, and her boyfriend had been at a party they went to. Now the two of them were full fledged girls. Except her boyfriend has become a sexy curvy woman in her twenties. While she became a twelve-year-old girl.

“Dad! You have a phone call.” Rebecca looks at Terry as he is working under the hood of a customer’s car.

Terry stands up and looks towards Rebecca. He still couldn’t get over what happened to her. He couldn’t wait until Dakota came home and finds out Rebecca was now their daughter. Rebecca was emancipated from her birth parents before and now she still didn’t want to go back to them.

Terry walks towards the office. He wonders who was calling him now.

“Who’s asking for me?”

“A Mrs. Cora Black. She’s on hold on line two.” Rebecca follows behind Terry.

“Thanks.”

“You’re welcome, daddy.” Rebecca was having fun calling Terry dad or daddy.

Terry just looks at Rebecca as she sits back down at Dakota’s desk and goes back to work. Terry picks the phone upon his desk “hello? What can I do for you?”

“Mr. Horn, I’m Cora Black and was wondering if you could help me with a little job.”

“What type of job would that be and why call me?” Terry’s curiosity was piqued.

“Well, it’s a moving job of Native American Artifacts, that was illegally stolen and sold to a private collector. The reason I need your help is I need either a box truck or moving truck capable of storing the artifacts in to transport back to Utah. Also, since there are a lot of artifacts and some of them are rather heavy. I would need the help of some strong men or women to move them. As for why I called you, a Mr. Bart Hardy said you might be able to help me. His cousin Katie DeNoon put me in touch with him and he gave me your number.”

“I see. When do you need my services?” Terry figures he might be able to help.

“I would like to do the job right away, but I guess I could give you two to three days if you need them.” Cora wanted to do the job as quickly as possible.

“Give me two days to arrange everything. Do you have a number I can reach you at?” Terry grabs a pen from the can of pens he keeps on his desk.

“Yes, it's (928) 765-4824.”

Terry writes the number down. He notices the area code was for Arizona.

“I’ll call you as soon as I have everything arranged.”

“Thank you, Mr. Horn. Feel free to contact me at any time.”

“I will. You have a nice day, Mrs. Black.” Terry ends the phone call.

Noon, Rosie’s Tea House:
Katie pulls up to the tea house in one of the company cars that Aero Flight Industries owned. She and her wife Jessica had gotten in early. They flew Night Bird from Coconino County, Arizona to New York. She and Jessica took turns sleeping as Night Bird flew himself. One of them was always awake just in case something went wrong.

When they landed at the private airfield Aero Flight owned. They powered down Night Bird, while the flight crew went over his systems since this was his first long-distance flight. While that was going on, Katie and Jessica got some sleep.

Katie spotted Rachel as soon as she pulled up to the place. The photo of Rachel didn’t do her justice. She parks the company car and gets out and walks inside the tea house. She spotted Rachel sitting outside since it was a nice day.

Rachel had arrived early and was sitting outside enjoying the scenery. The tea house had a nice outside patio. She had ordered a cold glass of water with a slice of lemon while she waited for Katie. Ten minutes until noon, she spots a black four-door BMW pulling into the parking lot. She watched as a young woman that resemble Katie exists from the BMW. Katie still looked like she did in the Army.

She hasn’t see Katie in years, but there was no way the woman she was looking at couldn’t be her. A smile appears on her face as she watches Katie walk towards the front door of the tea house. A few minutes later, Katie comes walking out to her table.

“Hello, Rachel. It’s been a long time.”

A smile appears on Rachel’s face “that it has, Katie.”

Katie sits down at the table. She couldn’t believe how feminine Rachel looked. She never thought that the guy she knew in her unit would ever want to be a woman.

“So, how have you been?” Katie was watching Rachel.

“I’m doing good. I’m surprised that after all these years we finally get together.” Rachel takes a sip of her tea.

“Well, if it wasn’t for current events. I think it might have been longer. Because everyone from our unit that didn’t go on that mission with you and the others. Thought you guys were all dead.” Katie sweetens her tea.

“Technically, we are. That was the whole reason. However, what you and our unit don’t know is, the whole op went to hell. The intel we had was wrong and most of us either ended up, seriously hurt or dead.”

“Damn! I wished I had known. I would have done everything I could to help you guys.” Katie felt bad about what happened.

“There would have been nothing you could have done, Katie. It was a setup and we walked right into it.” Rachel takes a sip of her tea.

“What made you decide to change teams?” Katie takes another sip of her tea.

“An injury I sustained in my groin area. The doctor that helped me, ended up being killed by several Isis soldiers. They tried killing me, but I managed to escape and make it to one of our bases.”

“So, what did you do afterward?” Katie watched Rachel.

“I came back here to the US after I was patched up and discharged from the Army. Once I was fully healed, I joined a small mercenary group. A lot of our jobs took us back to Afghanistan and I started hunting down Isis soldiers.”

“So, why did you come back to the states?” Katie was curious.

“Bosses orders. I was in the process of opening a motorcycle shop when all this happen. What have you been doing since leaving the Army?” Rachel was curious about what Katie did.

“I was attacked by an ultra-rich billionaire that thought using an EMP device to shut down Flagstaff would be fun.” Katie poured some more tea into her teacup.

“How did he attack you?”

“He hired an engineering team to restore an Apache helicopter and armed it with the latest hi-tech weapons.” Katie sweetened her tea.

“It looks like you did pretty well since you are here talking to me.”

“I have a good helicopter and a good co-pilot that is my wife.” Katie watches Rachel’s reaction.

“There were rumors that you were a lesbian.”

“I am. However, I’m married to a very nice woman.”

“That’s good. I do have one question for you. What’s your relationship with that detective named Cora Black? And what is with that weird mask of hers?”

“That is a story all in itself.”

“I would love to hear about it.”

“Well….” As Katie starts telling the story of how she met Cora Black.

Harris Davis Resident:
Mr. Davis stood and watched as all the Native American artifacts and other stolen pieces he bought from shady dealers are loaded into the box truck. Cora stood nearby watching as the guy Terry sent to her loaded everything. She looks at Mr. Davis as he stood nearby like a statue and watched.

The mystical properties of the mask allowed her to put Mr. Davis under her command. She took everything he had in his safe. She also got access to his bank account and had him transfer funds into several accounts that belonged to different tribal organizations as well.

“How much is left, Bruce?” Cora looks at the tall well-built muscular bald guy.

“Just a few more pieces and we can call it a night.” Bruce had his men getting the last few items.

“Okay, let’s get them loaded up and out of here.”

“No problem.” Bruce heads back into the mansion and grabs the rest of the items.

Cora looks at Mr. Davis “when we are gone, and you get up tomorrow. You will not remember anything that has occurred tonight. Also, you will not buy any more stolen artifacts at all. You will report anyone who tries to sell you any stolen items.”

Mr. Davis hears those words echo around in his head. He feels them settle into his soul. He tries fighting the urge, but he couldn’t resist what he was feeling.

Cora could feel Mr. Davis fight the command she gave him. The magic of the mask was going to make sure he obeys the command. She was learning more and more about her mask each day.

After about another hour, Bruce informs Cora that they were loaded and ready to leave. Cora looks at Mr. Davis “you may now go to bed and remember nothing of this. The only thing you’ll remember is the command given to you.”

Mr. Davis turns and heads inside his mansion. He heads upstairs to his bedroom and lay down in bed.

“How do you do that?” Bruce couldn’t believe what Mrs. Black did.

“It has something to do with this mask.” Cora removes her mask and looks at Bruce.

Bruce looks at the mask and noticed how old it looked. He has seen an old Native American mask before but did recognize this one.

“Where did you find it?”

“I didn’t find it. It was given to me by the spirits.” Cora could never forget that night she met the spirits and was given the mask, the outfit, and ancient weapons as well.

“That I would like to hear.” Bruce climbs into the cab of the truck.

Cora gets in on the passenger side and sits in the middle. Larry the other guy that came with Bruce gets in on the other side of Cora. The other two guys that came, follow behind them in their pick-up truck.

“Where to?” Bruce looks at Cora.

“To the airport. I hired a cargo plane to transport this truck and you guys back to Utah. Once there, I’ve arranged for you and the guys to stay at a nice hotel, courtesy of Mr. Davis.”

Cora used one of Mr. Davis’s credit cards to pay for the plane and the hotel. She reaches into her leather pouch and pulls out three bundles of twenty-dollar bills. She hands the money to Larry “this should cover what I owe you guys and a little extra for doing this job.”

Larry accepts the money and looks at Cora “thanks.”

“You’re welcome. Once I get back to Utah, we’ll locate the owners of everything.” Cora sits back and enjoys the ride.

Isis hide out:
“They are coming out now, big brother.” Rachel had the guys lined up in her scope.

“Remember take the tires out only. We want these guys alive, little sister.” Hondo hopes Rachel doesn’t blow the guys up.

“Don’t worry, big brother.” Rachel squeezes the trigger on her sniping rifle and takes the back two tires out. She reloads quickly and takes the driver-side tire out.

“Nice job, little sister.”

Warewolf and Hondo move at once towards the van. They break the windows on the driver's side and passenger side of the van. They pull the Isis supporters out through the windows.

Rachel was itching to pull the trigger on her sniping rifle. She would rather kill all Isis supporters than let them live.

“Come on home, little sister.”

“Copy, on my way.” Rachel covers the lens on her scope.

She rolls up her mat and climbs down the rope ladder. She hate taking these guys alive, but they needed info. She makes her way to where the rest of her team is.

When she gets there, she notices the guys they came after were already bagged and tagged. She looks at Hondo “so, what are we going to do with them now?”

“Interrogate them and find out who else they know.” Hondo wanted answers.

Rachel knew Patton wanted answers as well. She looks at their prisoners “you fellows are royally fucked now.”

One of the guys looks at Rachel and starts rambling a curse in Arabic at her. Rachel just punches him in the face.

“Next time I won’t be so nice.”

Patton looks at Rachel and knew she wanted to gut these guys. He motions for her to come over to him. He knows he needs to make sure she doesn’t kill them.

Rachel saw Patton motion for her to come over to him. She wonders why he wanted her.

“What’s up chief?” As she looks at Patton.

“Let Hondo handle those guys. I know how much you have a bone to pick with them.”

“I will chief.” Rachel knew how important it was to find out more information.

Rachel’s and Maia’s Place:
Rachel stumbles out of her bedroom in just her panties and nightshirt. She was still feeling sleepy as she walks into the kitchen and brew herself a cup of coffee. Everyone had gone back home after they tortured the information out of the Isis members they captured yesterday.

When the coffee is done brewing, she sits down at the counter and fixes her coffee. She grabs a fresh blueberry muffin from a package that Maia had bought yesterday. Maia had gone grocery shopping while she was out with the guys taking down an Isis group.

She sits in the kitchen and enjoys the quietness and her coffee. She closes her eyes as she thinks about what she is going to do with her motorcycle shop.

“How did things go, yesterday?” Maia comes walking into the kitchen and spots Rachel enjoying her morning coffee.

Rachel opens her eyes and looks at her young roommate. Maia has been very patient with her and her co-workers.

“It went well. I can’t go into detail about what we found out, but we did find out how they are communicating with each other and who is coordinating the different cells.” Rachel takes a sip from her coffee.

“Are you guys going to handle the problem?” Maia fixes herself a cup of coffee.

“We’re turning it over to an FBI friend of my boss.” Rachel takes another sip of her coffee.

“How come you guys aren’t going to handle it?” Maia was curious why Rachel and her friends weren’t handling it.

“It’s out of our jurisdiction.” Rachel knew Patton wanted to handle it, but it wasn’t their job.

“So, does that mean you guys aren’t going to do anything?” Maia knew they were mercs for hire.

“Yes, but we did turn over everything we had on this group. The FBI or NSA can handle this from now on.” Rachel didn’t like it, but they were law enforcement and the legal consequences were too much.

“So, what are you going to do now?” Maia was curious.

“I’m going to reopen the motorcycle shop I bought and sell parts and some of the motorcycles there.”

“So, you're not going to go on any missions or contracts anymore?” Maia looks at Rachel’s face.

“Not until I find someone I can trust to run the motorcycle shop while I’m gone.” Rachel didn’t buy the shop to make money, but it would be nice if it did.

“So, that means I get to see you more?” Maia didn’t mind.

“Yes, you’ll see me around more, when I’m not working at the shop.” Rachel finishes her coffee.

“That will be nice. Will any of your coworkers be coming over?” Maia looks over the rim of her coffee cup at Rachel.

“Who is it that you have your eyes set on?” Rachel noticed the inquisitive look Maia had.

“No one in particular.” Maia liked Warewolf.

“Yeah, right.” Rachel gets up and rinses her coffee cup out.

She turns and walks out of the kitchen towards her bedroom. She changes her clothes and grabs the keys to her motorcycle. She tucks her gun into its holster at the small of her back.

“I’m heading down towards the shop if you need me.” Rachel starts walking out of the house.

“Alright.” Maia heads towards her bedroom to get ready for work as well.

Later In The Day:
Aisha was making a delivery two stores down from Rachel’s motorcycle shop. She saw the front door open and decided to stick her head in.

“Is anyone here?” Aisha steps in and notices that several things have been moved around.

“Yeah, give me a second.” Rachel was busy organizing some bins.

A smile appears on Aisha’s face because she recognized the voice. She wonders what Rachel was doing up here in the shop. She stands at the counter and waits for her.

Rachel comes walking out of the back and spots Aisha standing at the counter. A smirk appears on her face “what brings you up here?”

“I had a delivery two stores down from you. So, are John and Bert opening this store back up?” Aisha got some of her parts from here.

“Nope, I am. I bought it from them, back before everything went sideways.”

“Good, does that mean I’ll get discounts on my parts?” Aisha knew sooner or later she’ll need them.

“We’ll see. So, is there anything else I can do for you?” Rachel had some idea of what Aisha wanted.

“Yeah, how did the job against those Isis sympathizers go?”

“What sympathizers?” Rachel gives Aisha a puzzled look.

“You know, did you guys handle that situation?” Aisha couldn’t figure out why Rachel had a puzzled look on her face.

“What situation?” Rachel says it as a question.

After a few seconds, she realizes what Rachel was doing. A smile appears on her face.

“Alright, I get it. What happens in fight club, stays in fight club.”

“Ah, she has watched the movie.”

“Yes, I have.” Aisha smiles at Rachel.

Two Weeks Later:
Rachel looks out at the store, just before she was set to open it. She hired a few extra people to come in to help her organize everyone. Aisha also stopped in to help and built up store credit with her, instead of accepting the money she was willing to pay her.

She walks over to the front door and opens it. A smile appears on her face as several people walk into the building.

“Welcome to Diablo Chopper Supply.”
