Cassidy couldn’t believe she had the house to herself. Her roommates had to work late, and she had the day off. She had two roommates and they were living together at her Uncles place. She inherited the house from him after his death and they were splitting the bills three-way. So far, everyone has been paying their share, plus a little more. So, they were at least two months ahead on all their bills.
She puts on her sexiest bra, panties, stocking and garter belt. She connects her iPhone to the old-style stereo system and plays Cyndi Lopper Girls Just Want to Have Fun song, as she dances around in her sexy undergarments. It was rare for her to just dance around. She has fun dancing to several songs on her phone. She stops and heads into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water to drink.
What most people didn’t know about her and her roommates, they made and sold moonshine on the side. Her other uncles had taught her how to make moonshine before they were arrested and sent to jail while transporting several jugs. There was a place in the pantry where they kept several jugs and mason jars of the different moonshine she had made during the summer months. Her still was an old one that had belonged to her grandfather. It had been repaired several times, but it worked great. When she wasn’t using it. She kept the parts stored in their shed.
Cassidy walks into her bedroom and grab her robe and slip it on. She just let her iPhone continue playing, while she fixes herself something to eat. She checks on the butter beans and ham she had tossed into the crock pot after having her morning coffee.
She finally had the day off from work, thanks to the fact her manager had hired two part-time people. She has been working seven days a week and sometimes pulling double shifts. She stirs the butter beans and closes the lid. She figures the food should be done by the time her roommates got home.
Cassidy steps outside and watched the horses as they ate grass. She knew Danny fed the horses before he left for work. Larry was the gardener and they had a nice garden, filled with her favorite vegetables and a few fruit trees on their property.
To keep the authorities from finding her still when she has it set-up. There was a nice clearing they had on the property that they set it up at.
There was a nice clear water stream that ran near the property.
She doesn’t want to take her sexy lingerie off, so she slips a pair of jeans on and a tank top shirt. The tank top shirt she puts on was a custom design one she designed. The saying on the tank top was from Wam-US that said “Good Girls Do Bad Things”
She just wishes she could get the money together to pay for her surgery. That was where the money from the moonshine came in, after setting some aside for supplies for the moonshine. She also split the profits with her roommates. They knew people who would buy the moonshine.
The recipes she used were the ones her Uncle’s taught her. They didn’t care about her wanting to be a girl.
Her parents at first couldn’t deal with the fact she preferred to be a girl, instead of a boy. It took her tossing her male clothes out and only wearing female clothing to convince them that she wanted to be a girl. They made her see a counselor about wanting to be a girl and her school had a hard time with her dressing like a girl. God knows, there was one teacher that gave her a hard time and refused to call her by her female name after changing it.
The bullies in the school gave her a hard time until she beat the daylights out of one of them. She kicked him so hard in his groin area, that she raptured his scrotum.
The guy parents wanted to have her arrested for injuring their son, but she had too many witnesses that said he started it. When she went back to school, she was forbidden from taking part in any girl sports. So, she took home economics and showed promise for fashion design.
Her parents thought it was best to send her to live with her Uncle in Todd, North Carolina.
She loved where she lived, but hated the fact that North Carolina were assholes when it came to transgender rights. She has written emails, letters and even visited her representative to tell them in person they were assholes. That they were stupid for letting their dam religious beliefs inflict harm upon people.
She hopes when it was her reps time to be reelected, that people will get smart and kick his ass out of office. She joined a group that was trying to make changes. There were a few other things they were fighting for as well.
She grabs her purse, car keys and heads out to take care of some business and to drop off a few mason jars of moonshine. The people she was dropping them off too, were people she has known for years. Her first stop is at the Lewis ranch. Mr. Lewis loved her moonshine and always buys a case of it.
Cassidy pulls up to his old Chevy pickup truck and gets out. She notices the front door opens as an older man in his mid-sixties come out. She has known him since she came to live at her Uncle’s place. He uses to come by the house and play poker with her uncle along with some of their other friends.
“Cassie, it’s nice to see you. Have you brought my package?” As Mr. Lewis just stand on his porch and watches Cassidy.
He enjoyed watching her as she bends over to pick-up the case of moonshine from her trunk. He loved her cute body and how she moved. He figures she must have been a dancer or something when she was little.
“I got your special package right here, Mr. Lewis.” Cassidy puts a smile on her face as she walks towards him.
Unlike her other customers, Mr. Lewis loved the plain corn base moonshine she makes from her uncle’s recipe. She had two more customers that were just like him. Then she had some customers that liked her fruit-flavored moonshine.
“God bless you, child. So, are you going to make any more?” As he watches her rear end as she walks the case into his house.
“No, sir. This is it for the season. I have a few five-gallon buckets filled, should you need any more.” Cassidy puts the case in Mr. Lewis kitchen on the counter.
“Here you go, my dear.” As he hands three hundred dollars to her.
Cassidy tucks the money into her back pocket “thank you, Mr. Lewis.”
“You’re welcome, Cassidy.” He watches as she walks past him and put a little wiggle in her step.
He smiles as he watches as she leaves and hears her car pull off. He walks into the kitchen and picks up a mason jar and taste the contents. It was a little stronger then the last batch she brought but tasted good.
Cassidy makes her runs and by the time she gets back to the house, it was lunchtime. She has some lunch and afterward, go out and saddle her horse. She loved riding as she goes and enjoys herself on the property.
By the time Cassidy got back to the house. She spots Sydney waiting for her.
“Hey Sydney, what brings you to this neck of the woods?” As Cassidy dismounts from her horse.
“Well, two reasons. The first is I might have an after-hours job for you as a nude waitress., The second reason is, I want to buy a bucket of
moonshine from you for the event.” Sydney had a smile on his face.
“Okay, I have a bucket I can sell you, but what type of job is this nude waitress job?” Cassidy hasn’t had her surgery yet, so she needs to be careful.
“You’ll be wearing a thong. So, don’t worry about it.” Sydney knew about Cassidy.
“That’s good to hear. So, what is this event?” Cassidy was curious about the job.
“It’s a bachelor party for a friend of mine. He’s getting married soon and I want this party to be a major hit.” Sydney figured Cassidy would
make a perfect addition to the group of women he was recruiting.
“How much is the pay?” Cassidy didn’t mind doing it.
It was money she could add to her surgery fund. She was about at the halfway mark. She figured within two more years, she’ll have what she needs to pay for her surgery. The medical insurance she had at work was a joke. The portion that she had to pay out of pocket, was high.
“How about three hundred?” Sydney was paying the other girls at least two hundred for showing up.
Cassidy thinks about it. It was only going to be a couple of hours she figures.
“Three hundred is fine. Now, as for the bucket you want. Let’s say three as well.” Cassidy normally charged a $100.00 per gallon. The bucket’s
she had were five-gallon buckets. Which would normally run $500.00. Since Sydney was a friend of hers, she was giving him a discount.
Sydney reaches into a pocket and pull out three hundred dollars and hands it to Cassidy.
Cassidy accepts it “wait here.”
“Okay.” Sydney watches as Cassidy walks into the barn.
Cassidy walks over to an area where she stores her buckets of moonshine. She grabs one of her last run buckets and wheels it out on a handcart to Sydney.
“Here you go to Sydney.” As she walks over to his truck.
“Thanks.” He lifts it up and secures it in the back of his truck bed.
Once he is done securing the bucket. He pulls out a card with the address of where the event was taking place on it and what time. He hands it to her “here is where the event going to take place. Let me know if you need directions.”
“I will enjoy.” Cassidy watches as Sydney drives off.
She heads inside the house and checks on dinner for tonight. By the time dinner is ready, Danny and Larry walk through the front door.
“Dinner is ready guys.” Cassidy fills a bowl for herself and grabs some cornbread she made to go with the butterbeans and ham.
The guys come in and fix themselves a bowl. They all sit down in the living room and watches a movie while they ate. Cassidy knew the guys were tired from working all day. Larry was a construction worker. Danny had his own lawn care business.
The next few weeks are busy for Cassidy. She had to retrain the two-part timers. Then she had to cover for the manager while he went out of town for a funeral. Which meant she was putting in sixteen-hour days, seven day a week.
She worked at an antique store. The store itself has been around for the last one hundred years. It was started by her boss’s family. When they retired, he took over. They had pickers they bought their stuff from.
The day of the bachelor party. She heads home first to freshen up and find the right pair of thong panties to wear and her six-inch fuck me pumps. Once she was ready, she slips on one of her coats to covers her body and head to the address.
When she arrives, she could tell the party was in full swing. She takes her jacket off and walk up tot eh door and ring the doorbell. The man that answered it was surprised to see her. He let her in and there were already several women dress in skimpier clothes or no clothes at all entertaining the men.
A drink is placed in her hand and when she goes to taste it, it was her moonshine. She drinks it down. She party with the men and with women, putting on a nice lesbian show for them. Throughout the party, she is handed a drink as she drinks it. She goes form drinking her moonshine, to drinking German beer to drinking champagne and finally killing a bottle of Jack Daniel’s Fireball Whiskey. She is given one more and afterward she passes out.
Hours later:
Cassidy wakes up with a killer headache and snuggled against someone. She felt an arm cuddling her against the unknown person. She was a little sore between her legs and felt wetness on her inner thigh. She looked at who she was snuggled against.
She remembered seeing him at the party but couldn’t remember his name. His was an older gentleman, in his early forties. He had short dark hair and a tattoo of a bulldog and another one on his chest that said US Marine Corp. She carefully gets out of bed and head towards the bathroom. Her head was spinning, she had dizziness, fatigue, lightheadedness. She sits down on the toilet and let her bladder come. She had a funny taste in her mouth and something crusty on her lips. Once she was done in the bathroom, she heads back into the bedroom and snuggle against the guy she had woken-up against. She falls back asleep snuggled against him.
Arthur Battle wakes-up and feels the woman he went to bed with and had sex with was snuggled up against him. He was surprised to discover that she was really a male. He looks down at her as she spelt snuggled again him. He gets out of bed without waking her and heads towards the bathroom.
As he is peeing, he thinks about the bachelor party last night for his nephew. It had gone off without any problems. He was surprised that
Sydney had been able to recruit so many beautiful girls. He especially was smitten with the one that was laying his bed right now. She had arrived in just a thong and six inches high heels.
Once he is done peeing. He heads back into the bedroom and looks at the young girl as she slept. She had curly red hair that came halfway down her back. He couldn’t remember what her eye color was. He spots a little tattoo rose on her back-right shoulder. He walks back over towards the bed and sits down near her.
Cassidy felt the bed move and opens her eyes. She spots the man she had been sleeping next too, sitting and looking at her.
“Good morning.” As Cassidy rolls onto her back and looks up at him.
“Good morning. How are you feeling this morning?” When they went to bed last night, she was drunk as a shrunk. She was also throwing herself at him.
“Like someone is using my head like a bass drum.” Cassidy was feeling a little better. Her head wasn’t hurting her as much as it did the first time she woke up.
“That happens when you mixed different types of drink like you did last night.” He had watched her as different drinks were put into her hands.
“That explains, why I have a hangover. So, was I good last night?” Cassidy doesn’t remember anything about what happened to her.
A smile appears on Arthur’s face “yes and no. You were so drunk last night, that you fell asleep while we were making love.”
“Sorry about that. I’m Cassidy Hickey by the way.” As she holds out her hand towards him.
Arthur accepts her hand and shakes it “I’m Arthur Battle, nice to meet you, Miss. Hickey.”
“So, Mr. Battle. What does a girl have to do to get something to eat?” She smiles at him.
“What would you like?” Arthur found her to be cute.
“Hmmm, I already had you last night. How about sausage gravy biscuit?” She had a mischievous smile on her face.
“Why don’t you get dress and I’ll take you out for breakfast?” Arthur stands up off the bed.
“Love too, but the only thing I wore last night was my panties and my fuck me high heels.” As Cassidy gets out of bed to look for her panties and heels.
“I have a pair of sweats and a t-shirt you can wear.” He had walked over to his dresser and pull out a pair of gray sweatpants and a black t-shirt that had the Marine corps. retro Bulldog on it.
Cassidy looks at the t-shirt “you use to be a Marine?” as she slips it over her head.
“I’m a former enlisted. I retired a few weeks ago.” Arthur didn’t want too, but he was forced too.
“What did you do in the Marines?” Cassidy walks into the bathroom to brush her hair.
“Forced Recon.” Arthur watches Cassidy as she brushes her hair.
“How about you? Any military service?” Arthur figures she might have never been in the military.
“Nope, I work at an antique store and I raise horses.” She finishes brushing her red curly hair.
She looks at the sweats and they had the Marine logo on them. They were a little loose on her slim body. She spots her high heels and slips them on.
“Well, I’ll make a fashion statement.” As she walks over to Arthur.
He just smiles “if you want to go home and change first, I’ll understand.”
“I’m fine. So, where are we heading for breakfast?” As she follows Arthur out of his bedroom.
As they walk down the hallway and down a flight of stairs, she spots a mess. Cassidy was amazed they made such a mess.
“I take it, this is your home?” As she carefully walks over a broken chair.
“Yeah, I told my nephew he could have his party here.” Arthur looks at the mess. It was a good thing he had enough sense to hire a maid service to come in while they are out for breakfast and clean the place up.
Arthur leads Cassidy to a silver and black Jeep Wrangler. He opens the passenger side door for her.
“Thank you.” She looks over towards her silver Subaru Legacy she drove.
It looked okay. No one hit it leaving last night. She turns her attention back and watches where they were heading for breakfast.
“If you don’t mind me asking, Cassidy. How long have you known that you were different?” Arthur didn’t know if he should ask right away or later.
“Since I was twelve years old. I threw away all my male clothes and put on a dress and shoes. I told my parents I didn’t want to wear male clothes anymore and if the school or anyone had a problem with it, they could kiss my ass.” Cassidy remembered that day clearly as if it happened yesterday.
“What would you had done if I turned you down last night?” Arthur knew he should have, but she was very persuasive. Plus, the two of them were extremely drunk, more so her than him.
“Kept at you or walk away and tried to seduce someone else. There were a lot of drunk guys there last night.” Cassidy remembered the people she saw last night.
Cassidy liked to have fun and sure it could have backfired on her last night going like she was. However, Sydney did offer to pay her for going,
plus that was money she could put towards her operation fund.
They arrive at a little mom and pop diner to have brunch. She orders sausage gravy biscuits and Arthur orders steak and egg platter. She also orders orange juice to drink.
While their waitress was away getting their order. Cassidy turns her attention to Arthur “so, how many years did you put in the military?” as she sips her juice.
“I was in the military for a full twenty years.” Arthur wanted to do thirty, but he wasn’t allowed.
He didn’t pass his last evaluations, also he punched out his commanding officer. The asshole almost got himself and the rest of his squad
killed. He knew the area they were heading into and knew there was a good chance of them being an ambush. He had intel given to him by a friend.
However, the officer in charge of his squad wouldn’t listen to what he had to say. When they arrived into area, they were ambush. If it hadn’t been for the information he had been given, they wouldn’t had died. Lucky for him, that he was an excellent shot and killed five of the fourteen people. The rest of his squad handled the rest.
He went over to his commanding officer and put his lights out. Sure, he got punished for punching his command officer, but he saved the lives of his squad as well. He had to serve time and once he got out. His time in the service was up, so he got out.
After brunch, Arthur takes Cassidy back to the house to get her car. As she is walking towards it.
“Hey, are you busy Friday?” Arthur wanted to see her again.
“Nope, what do you have in mind?” As she looks at him.
“How about I pick you up and we go out for dinner.”
“Sounds good to me. What time?” Cassidy had her car door opened.
“How about 7 o’clock?”
“Sounds good to me. I’ll see you Friday.” As Cassidy gets in her car and heads home.
She catches some grief from her roommates as she walks in and heads towards her bedroom to shower and change.
When Cassidy arrives at home. Danny and Larry were still there. Normally they were gone by the time she left for work. She parks her Subaru next to Danny’s pick-up truck and head inside the house. As she walks in.
“Did you have fun last night?” Larry looks towards Cassidy as she comes walking into the house.
“Yep! I had fun and met a really nice guy.” She walks into her bedroom and changes out of the clothes and shoes had on.
Larry follows behind Cassidy as she walks into her own bedroom. He watches as she changes clothes.
“So, did you meet someone new?” As he watches her check herself in the mirror on the back of her dresser.
Cassidy just glances towards him “he’s a nice guy and a former Marine.”
“He wasn’t surprised that you weren’t completely a woman?” He takes another sip of her coffee.
“No, he wasn’t nosy. Why are you and Danny still here?” Cassidy walks past him towards the kitchen.
“We’re taking the day off. Danny wanted to be here when the farrier arrived to do the horses. Me, because I want to go ahead and harvest some of the crops.” Larry walks over towards the sink and rinses his coffee cup out.
Cassidy fills her coffee cup up “since the two of you are going to be home today. Could you split some of the wood near the shed and stack it?
Also, we're having roast beef for dinner tonight. Can you take the roast out and let it defrost please?”
“No problem. Are you heading to work?”
“Yep, I won’t be home till seven tonight. See you later.” Cassidy heads out to her car and drives to work.
When Cassidy arrives at work, she is met by some customers that have been talking to her about a few pieces they wanted to buy. She sells them a complete set of antique pieces that was a set. Altogether the deal came out to be $20,000 dollars.
Throughout the day she and the part-timers sell about fifty thousand dollars of merchandise. Some of it was furniture, some of it was antique windows, doors, fixtures and a few odds and ends. Cassidy couldn’t believe how much they sold in one day.
“Man, I hope we have more days like that.” Zane was excited because he got a commission and by the hour pay.
“Don’t count on it. It’s rare for us to have that big of a sale.” Cassidy grabs a duster and goes out to dust the furniture.
When 7:00 pm rolls around. Cassidy was ready to go home. She locks the store up and set the alarm. She couldn’t wait to get home and have a nice home cooked meal. She parks her car next to Danny’s pick-up truck.
As she walks in, she could smell the aroma of fresh cooked roast, and vegetables. She hangs her car keys on the key hooks and put her purse in her bedroom. She changes out of her work clothes and into a pair of sweats and t-shirt.
“Mmm, something smells good.” As Cassidy walks into the kitchen.
Larry looks up at Cassidy as she comes walking into the kitchen. Danny was in there as well and both men were drinking moonshine.
“I hope you didn’t drink all the spare booze.” As Cassidy walks over to check on their stash.
“Nope, just broke open one of the gallon bottles of spare corn whiskey moonshine. Oh, Hank came by and bought two gallons of Caramel
Apple Pie Moonshine.” Larry hands the money over to Cassidy.
“Thanks.” Cassidy goes over and adds it to the cookie jar, where she keeps the rest of the money.
Danny saw what Cassidy did with the money “really, a cookie jar? You keep the money from the sale of the moonshine in a cookie jar?”
“Yep, it would be suspicious if I deposit the money in my account. I can either put it in my safe deposit box or here at the house in the cookie jar.” Cassidy fills her glass with tea.
While they sit down at the dining room table “how did your day go today?”
“We sold a lot of antiques today. The part-timer working with me was happy. He gets a commission off the sale.” Cassidy takes a bite of her roast.
“Don’t you get a commission as well?” Danny looks at Cassidy as he sips his moonshine.
“Yes and no. I’m salary and I only get a small percentage of the sale if I sold something.” Cassidy uses to have the type of deal the part-timers
did, but since she was the only full-time along with the owner. Her pay was a little different.
“How was the party last night?” Larry and Danny were curious how things went.
“I had fun. I met a nice retired Marine and I have a date with him on Friday.” Cassidy wonders where Arthur was going to take her.
The rest of the dinner goes by quietly as each person enjoys their meal and drink. Larry and Danny are partially drunk by the time they finish. Since Cassidy was the last one home. She cleans the kitchen and put away the left orders. She looks in the refrigerator to see what their leftovers were. That way she could plan either a meal based on them or maybe pick up something.
She heads to bed afterward. Cassidy couldn’t wait till her date on Friday. As she sleeps, she has dreams of her and Arthur.
Cassidy has a hectic week at the antique store. Some of the pickers they normally deal with, up their prices on a few items. She is sent by her boss to a few estate auctions to purchase any antiques she finds.
Then she hurts her wrist, helping the movers unload the antiques she bought. She ends up going to the hospital getting her wrist looked at and placed in a brace. The doctor told her she had a hairline break on her radius bone.
When she gets home later that day. Larry and Danny tease her about her wrist brace. How it was going to make a nice accessory on her date.
Cassidy is happy when Friday arrives. She gets off early and heads home. She gets ready for her date.
As she is getting ready, she wonders what Arthur is going to think of her wrist being injured. As she finishes brushing her hair and adding a little perfume. There is a knocking on her bedroom door.
“Cassidy, your date is here.” Danny had let Cassidy’s date in.
Danny was impressed by Arthur. He showed up dress in a suit and was well groomed, unlike some of Cassidy’s past dates. He escorted Arthur
to the living room, while he went to let Cassidy know.
“Thanks, Danny.” Cassidy checks herself one more time and grabs her purse.
As she walks towards the living room, she could hear laughter coming from inside. She approaches slowly as she hears Arthur tell Danny a joke about horses. The Joke was “Why do horses like to fart when they buck?”
She smirks when she hears the answer, which is “Because they can't achieve full horsepower without gas.”
“You gentlemen sound like you’re having fun.” Cassidy stood at the doorway in a nice dress that hugged her curves.
Arthur stood there and just looks at Cassidy. He couldn’t believe how nice she looked.
“She cleans up well, doesn’t she?” Danny looks at Cassidy like a proud brother.
He has been living with Cassidy since her Uncles ended up in jail. The uncle that owned the ranch house they were currently living in, had died.
He used to come over and take care of the horses for Cassidy’s uncle. Her uncle left him all the horses he had, except for one which belonged to Cassidy. It was a full fledge Mustang that her uncle bought for her.
There was a ranch in Amissville, VA that had a mare for sale. So, her uncle bought the mare for her and taught her to ride. A year ago, the
ranch that sold Cassidy’s uncle their first Mustang, had a few more and were willing to sell them. Cassidy bought the four they had.
“That she does.” Arthur just smiles at Cassidy.
“Hey, I always look good.” She wanted to punch Danny, but she remembered her right wrist was in a brace.
“And on that note, I think it’s time we leave. Danny, it’s nice meeting you.” As Arthur stands up and shakes Danny’s hand.
“It was nice meeting you as well Arthur. You two go and have fun.” Danny watches as Arthur and Cassidy walks out to his car.
Arthur opens the door of the Jeep Wrangler for her.
“Thank you.” Cassidy gets in carefully, so she doesn’t flash him.
Once Cassidy is in the Jeep. Arthur walks around and climbs into the driver seat.
“So, where are we heading off too?” Cassidy was curious.
“It’s a surprise.” As Arthur drives away from Cassidy’s ranch.
Cassidy smacks her alarm clock as it goes off. She didn’t want to get out of bed. It was gray and gloomy outside. She could hear the rain as it hits against her bedroom window. She just lays there and waits for the snooze timer, times out.
She gets up out of bed and takes a nice hot shower. She had fun on her date. First, they went to a nice restaurant for dinner and then they went to a club and dance till two in the morning. He brought her home and the two of them kissed for awhile on the front porch.
She gets ready for work. As she heads to the kitchen, she could hear the guys talking and cooking.
“Ah, sleepy beauty awakes.” Larry takes a sip of his coffee as he watches Cassidy.
Danny was preparing his breakfast. He notices Cassidy “do you have time for breakfast?”
“Nope, I’m running a little behind.” Cassidy grabs a banana as she fixes her coffee.
“See you guys later this evening.” Cassidy grabs her umbrella and heads towards her car.
She makes it to the antique store in record time. She did speed some and broke a few speed limits. The rain had slacked off some by the time she arrived.
Cassidy goes about opening the store and start dusting the antiques. She was working by herself today since it was a Saturday. She knew the rain was going to keep most buyers away from the store.
Cassidy turns the radio on and listens to the music playing as she moves about the store. She could already tell it was going to be a slow day. Since her arm was still in a brace, she was taking it easy. She rearranges some of the smaller items.
By mid-day, she hasn’t had any people stop in and she was going to take her lunch early. She calls the local pizza joint and orders a sub lunch combo to be delivered down to the shop. As she is waiting for her lunch. Two gentlemen come walking in. Both were wearing black suits and aviator glasses.
One was taller than the other, by at least six inches. He had short black hair and was clean shaved. His partner was at least six inches shorter and had dirty blonde hair. Where his partner looked younger. He was older and had the look of someone you didn’t want to mess with. There was something that put didn’t feel right to her.
“Good afternoon gentlemen. How can I help you today?” A friendly smile appears on her face.
“We would like to talk to your boss, Mr. Hughes.” The tall black haired man had removed his sunglasses was looking at Cassidy.
She shivers as he looks at her. There was something in his eyes that wasn’t right.
“He’s off on Saturdays and Wednesday’s. Is there anything I can do for you?” Cassidy just kept smiling.
“Not unless you want to do some extra work for him.” The smaller guy removes his sunglass.
A sly smile appears on his face. He was looking Cassidy up and down. He figures she would be good in bed. He would use her for a while and then pimp her ass out to some clients. He figures she would bring in some big dollars for him.
“I think you better leave.” Cassidy didn’t like his tone of voice.
“I’ll leave when I want to leave.” The short guy steps up to Cassidy.
“You’ll leave now, or I will call the police.” Cassidy had her cell phone in her hand.
“Why you little BITCH!” The short guy backhands Cassidy so hard, that she is lifted off her feet and into an antique cabinet.
The back of her head hits the cabinets door hard. Her head was pounding as her eyesight start blaring. Just as she is blacking out.
“Tell your boss we’ll be back to collect on what he owes us.” The tall man puts his sunglasses on and walks out.
Cassidy passes out. She was laying on the floor against the cabinet like a rag doll.
“Cassidy, wake-up.” Luke from the sub shop had come in, a few minutes after the two men left.
Luke saw Cassidy slumped on the floor against an old oak cabinet. Her eyes were closed, and she had blood on her lower lip. He pulls his cell phone out and dials 911 and tell them about Cassidy.
He sticks around till the paramedics arrive. Once they arrive, he steps aside to let them do what they have too. He calls his boss to let him know what was going on.
Cassidy jerks awake.
“Mrs. Are you alright?” A female paramedic had used a smelling salt to bring Cassidy around.
“No, my head hurts.” Cassidy was trying to get her bearing. She remembered the last words the tall man told her.
The female paramedic looks at Cassidy’s eyes. They were responding as they should.
“Can you tell me what happened, ma’am?”
“Yea, a customer backhanded me so hard, that I fell back into this cabinet.” Her mouth hurt her where he connected with his hand.
“Do you want to file a police report?” The paramedic touches Cassidy split lip gently.
“Yes, I want the bastard who backhand me in jail.” Cassidy was pissed. She didn’t put up with bullies when she was in school and she wasn’t
about to let someone get away smacking her either.
Arthur was on patrol when he received the call. He heads over to the address he was given. As he pulls up, he spots Cassidy’s car and the paramedics. He gets out of his car and walks inside the antique store.
He notices that the paramedics were tending to Cassidy. He hadn’t told Cassidy what he did for a living. He walks over towards the paramedics and Cassidy.
“Are you alright, Cassidy?” Arthur saw the split lip.
Cassidy was paying attention to the paramedics as they fuss over her. She had noticed Arthur comeing in. When she heard his voice, she looks at him and notices he was in a sheriff uniform. Her jaw nearly dropped as she realizes she was dating a cop.
“She just bumped her head, Officer Arthur. Cassidy said she was attacked. “The female paramedic looks at officer Arthur.
“Cassidy, can you give me a description of who attacked you and why they were here?” Arthur looks at Cassidy and was concerned about her.
Cassidy gathers her wits about her and gives a description to Arthur. She gives a complete description of both men and the message the
tallest one gave her to give to her boss. Cassidy wants to know what has her boss gotten himself into.
“Is she capable of driving herself home?” Arthur could drive her home and have his nephew bring him back to deliver her car to her house.
“I don’t recommend it.” Her injuries weren’t too bad, but she wasn’t in any condition to drive.
“I’ll give her a lift home.” Arthur closes his notebook and puts it away.
The paramedic's clean-up their mess. Arthur helps Cassidy close up and gets in his patrol car.
As they are heading towards her place “you never said you were a cop.”
“You never asked what I did.” He turns and smiles at her.
Cassidy realizes she never did. She told him about herself and learned he was retired from the Marines, but that was all she knew about him. They drive in silence as he takes her home.
Cassidy’s roommate was concerned when she walked in with Arthur behind her. They were also floored that he was a Deputy sheriff as well. They knew Stanley was his nephew and that Cassidy had sold him three jugs of moonshine.
“What happened?” As Danny watches as Cassidy comes in with her head wrapped up.
“She was attacked at work. She hit her head against an oak cabinet at work.” Arthur looks at Larry and Danny.
“Why don’t we go and bring her car back home.” Larry goes to grab Cassidy’s spare keys.
Danny grabs his jacket and the two of them leave.
“Are you going to be okay, Cassidy?” Arthur looks at Cassidy.
“I’ll be fine. Thanks for bringing me home.” She gives him a kiss.
Arthur returns the kiss. He had good enough description to try to identify the men that attack Cassidy.
“Why don’t you go and get some rest. I’ll let you know what I find out.” He gives her one more kiss before leaving.
Cassidy heads towards her bedroom and changes out of her work clothes. She slips on a comfortable t-shirt and her silky pajama pants bottoms. She crawls under her blanket and closes her eyes as sleep takes her.
Cassidy wakes up the next morning and stretches her sore body. She was still feeling sore after being slammed against the oak cabinet yesterday. She heads into the kitchen after popping a few aspirins in her mouth. They were more for her head, then the body pain.
She still couldn’t get over what those men did to her yesterday. The short guy scared her the most. She felt goose pimples on her skin when he spoke and looked at her. As she walks into the kitchen. She wonders what her boss had gotten himself into.
Cassidy fixes herself a cup of coffee and while it was brewing, she grabs a blueberry muffin Danny made last night, while she was asleep. She wonders how Arthur was doing on finding the people that attack her yesterday. As she picks at her muffin.
Once her coffee was finish brewing. She finishes fixing it like she likes it and heads into the den. Cassidy turns the television on but was barely paying it any mind. She was thinking about the events from yesterday. She just sits quietly sipping her coffee and eating her muffin.
She wonders what will happen to the store. She liked working there and would hate to see it close. Cassidy thinks about what she can do if it came too it.
While Cassidy was in the den watching television, Larry comes walking in with a cup of coffee. He glances over towards Cassidy “how’s your head?” as he sits down in his favorite chair.
“Still hurts, but other than that, I’m okay.” Cassidy takes a sip of his coffee.
“That’s good to hear. So, what happened yesterday?” Larry and Danny didn’t get the full story from her.
Arthur said she was attacked and hit her head on an Oak cabinet. He didn’t tell them why she was attacked. He and Danny wanted to know the whole story.
“I’ll tell you what I know when Danny comes in here. That way I only have to tell it once.” Cassidy takes another sip of her coffee and watches the news broadcast. There was nothing in it about what took place up at the antique store, which was good news. As she continues to watch television and munch on her muffin. She curls her legs up under her and relaxes on the sofa.
An hour later, Danny comes walking in, looking like he had slept extremely well. He sits on the other end of the sofa and looks towards Cassidy.
“How are you feeling, Cass?” Danny takes a sip of her coffee.
“Better now that I have some coffee in me.” Cassidy had finished her coffee off earlier.
“So, you want to tell us what happened yesterday?” Danny was curious.
Cassidy looks at the two who were more than friends to her. They were more like her older brothers.
“Two men came to the store yesterday asking for my boss. I told them I didn’t know where he was. Then the shorter of the two men had made a comment, after I asked him if there was anything, I could do for them. He said not unless you want to do some extra work for him. Meaning doing a certain type of work for Mr. Hughes. Then when I threaten to call the police, he called me a bitch and backhand me. He sent me backward towards the oak Armoire we have for sale. After I hit the back of my head on it, just as I was blacking out. I saw them leaving. I don’t know how long I was out, but I was woken up by the paramedics and by Luke from the pizza shop.” Cassidy shivers as she remembers what she experienced.
“I wonder what Wes has gotten himself into?” Larry has met Wes on a few occasions.
“I don’t know, but whatever he has gotten himself into. It seems to be very bad. The guy that backhanded me had a look in his eyes like I was a
piece of meat to be used for his amusement. His partner was politer, but I would bet that if you owed him. He would hunt you down till he either got his money or he took it out on your hide.” Cassidy got an uneasy feeling from both.
“Well, they screwed up with assaulting you.” Danny knew some of the guys in town had heard about what happened to Cassidy and wanted to pay the fellow a visit.
Danny knew Cassidy was known for her moonshine and a lot of the moonshiners in the area looked out for each other. The older ones didn’t believe in hitting or attacking a woman.
“Oh, you need to be careful who you sell the moonshine too. I heard through the grapevine, that there are a few ATF agents snooping around.” Danny heard from a friend of his down at the feed & seed store.
“I’ll be careful, and you guys should too. We sell only to customers we know and no one else.” Cassidy didn’t want to go to jail for selling moonshine.
As for the other matter, she’ll leave that matter for Arthur to handle. She has no idea how she would go about solving the problem.
Sheriff’s Office, Sunday Morning:
Arthur had gone by Wes Hughes place to ask him a few questions about the men that attacked Cassidy the other day. When he knocked on the door of Mr. Hughes house, no one answered. He looked around to see if anyone was home but didn’t see anyone.
He heads back to his patrol car and heads towards the office. He’ll go by Cassidy’s house later and see if she could identify the men, she gave a description of. The license plate number he got from Luke was reported as stolen from Charlotte, Va.
He tries dialing Wes Hughes cell phone number, but it goes straight to voicemail. He grabs his car keys and looks towards one of the other officers in the office.
“If anyone needs me, I’m going out to follow up on some leads.”
“Alright, Arthur.” Officer Anderson watches as Arthur heads out of the office.
Arthur heads towards one of the gas stations near the antique store. He wants to see if anyone saw the car, he had been given a description of. It was a slim chance, but someone could have seen the car pass by or stopped to get fuel.
He stops at the nearest Circle K and goes inside. He notices Betty was working the cash register.
“Good morning Betty. How has your morning been?” Arthur fixes himself a cup of coffee.
“It’s been slow this morning. What brings you here so early?” Betty looks over towards Arthur. He normally doesn’t stop by till the afternoon.
“I was hoping if you can help me. Do you know what happened down at the antique store down the block yesterday?” Arthur walks up to Betty while taking a sip from his coffee.
“I heard about it, but I didn’t see anything. I was reloading the hot dogs in the drawer.” Betty was busy putting the new hot dogs out for customers.
“Do you mind if I take a look at your security video from yesterday?” Arthur hopes the camera got something.
“Go ahead.” Betty didn’t mind Arthur looking at the cameras.
He walks into the manager's office and brings up yesterday’s security footage and fast forward to the time the events took place. He watches it several times but doesn’t spot the car. He takes his cell phone out. He wonders why he didn’t ask Cassidy if they had a camera at the antique store.
Cassidy’s Ranch:
Cassidy was in the kitchen cutting up the vegetables she was going to need to make stew tonight. Just as she was cutting the potatoes, her cell phone starts ringing. She puts her knife down and answers her phone.
“Hello” Cassidy switches the phone to the speaker.
“Cassidy, its Arthur. Does the antique store have security cameras in it?”
“Yes, we have four cameras in the store.” Cassidy picks up a carrot and starts cutting it.
“Are you busy right now?” Arthur looks around in the office.
“I’m cutting up some vegetables for dinner tonight, but I can take a break and meet you down at the store.” Cassidy stops what she is doing and washes her hands.
“Alright, I’ll meet you there.”
“Okay, I’ll see you in fifteen minutes.” Cassidy ends the call.
She washes her hands and grabs her car keys “hey guys, I’m heading to the antique store to let Arthur in, so he can review the security recordings.”
“Call us when you get there, Cass.” Danny watches as Cassidy leaves the house.
As soon as Cassidy arrives at the antique store, she calls the guys to let them know she arrived safely. A few minutes later Cassidy spots Arthur’s car pulling up beside her car. She watches as he turns his car off, before existing from hers.
Arthur saw Cassidy’s car already in the parking lot when he pulled up. He wonders how she was feeling after hitting her head. He parks his car and turns it off before he gets out and walks over towards Cassidy’s car.
Cassidy gets out of her car when she notices Arthur walking over towards her. She brushes some of her long hair aside out of her eyes.
“Hey big boy, do you come here often?” A smile appears on Cassidy’s face.
A smile appears on Arthur’s face. He had to give Cassidy credit on how she welcomes someone she likes.
“Only when there’s a pretty girl around.” He walks up to her and gives her a kiss.
Cassidy felt butterflies when Arthur kissed her. She returns the kiss and feels his strong arms wrap around her body. She leans against his body, as she feels herself melting in his arms.
After a few minutes, Arthur ends the kiss as he looks down into Cassidy’s blue eyes.
“Are you up to this?” He held her in his arms lightly.
Cassidy looks up into his brown eyes “I can do this.”
“You won’t be doing it alone.” As he holds her hand as they walk towards the store.
Cassidy takes her store keys out and unlocks the front door “stay here. I need to disarm the alarm.” She heads inside and over to where the alarm panel is and punches in her code.
The alarm beeps to let her know the system had been turned off. She walks back over towards the door.
“Okay, the alarm has been disabled.” Cassidy steps aside to let Arthur in.
Once he is inside, she closes the door and locks it. She turns around to look at him. He was twice her age, but she liked what she was seeing.
She already knew what he was like in bed but wanted to know more about him.
“The office is this way.” Cassidy walks by Arthur with a little sass to her walk.
Arthur noticed the little sass in Cassidy’s walk. He just watches as her behind moves sways in a sexy way. He follows behind her closely “maybe after all this, we can grab some dinner?”
“Sounds good. I was making a stew before you called. If you don’t mind tasting my cooking. You’re welcome to come over and have some.”
Cassidy made enough for her and the boys, plus extra to have during the week.
“I might do that.” Arthur wouldn’t mind tasting Cassidy’s cooking.
A smile forms on Cassidy’s face as she sits down behind the office desk and log on. She clicks on the app for the security video recorders and type her security code in. The screen switches to the cameras in the store. She taps on the icon to bring up the security footage from the other day. She types in the time of the attack and freezes the frame.
“There you go, Arthur. Those guys are the one that attacked me.” Cassidy’s enlarges the image.
Arthur looks over Cassidy’s shoulder at the image “can you burn me a copy and print these pictures out?”
“Yes.” Cassidy prints a copy of the images and burns him a copy of the security recording.
She didn’t need Mr. Hughes permission to burn a copy. Once the information was done burning to a dvd.
“Here you go, Arthur.” Cassidy hands the printout and the disk over to Arthur.
“Thank you.” Arthur accepts the disk and pictures.
“So, what is your next move?” Cassidy looks at Arthur.
“Find out who they are and who they are working for. Do you know where your boss lives?” Arthur figures talking to Cassidy’s boss would be
next on his list to find out who he owed money too. Now that he has the pictures of the men that attacked Cassidy, he can find out where they came from and who they are.
“Yep, I know where he lives.” Cassidy has been to his place several times.
“Why don't we drive over towards his place?” Arthur needs to know what he knew.
“No problem.” Cassidy logs off the computer.
“Your car or mine?” As Arthur leads the way back to the front door.
“I’ll take mine.” Cassidy rearms the security systems and heads out towards her car.
Arthur heads towards his, as Cassidy heads towards hers. She takes it slowly over towards her boss’s house, so not to lose Arthur. She wonders if her boss will be home.
As they approach Mr. Hughes place, everything seemed pleasant. They park their cars in the long driveway. Cassidy gets out of her car first, followed by Arthur.
Something didn’t seem right to her as they walked towards the front door. She wonders if he is home and okay.
“Something isn’t right here.” Cassidy stops just before she reaches the front door.
“Here, let me go first.” Arthur pulls his gun and approaches the front door carefully.
Cassidy follows a few feet behind him as he enters the house. The door was already partially opened. Arthur knew the place was locked up, when he came by before. Arthur slowly and carefully enters the house. He could tell someone broke into the place. The place was a mess.
Cassidy sticks her head inside and she couldn’t believe how the place looked. It was a mess, instead of the nice and tidy state her boss kept it in.
“It looks like someone was looking for something, Arthur.” Cassidy felt sad when she saw an old painting that was worth a lot of money damage.
“I agree with you, Cassidy. Someone was here and ransack this place.” Arthur carefully goes through the downstairs.
Cassidy stays back, as Arthur looks the place over. She couldn’t believe someone would do this to her boss. They search the place, but they
didn’t find any sign of Cassidy’s boss. Whoever is after him ransack the place well.
Arthur puts his gun away and pulls out his cell phone to call the station and have a forensic team sent to his current address. He looks towards
Cassidy “I think you might want to leave, Cass.”
“Are you sure?” Cassidy didn’t mind leaving, but she didn’t want things to come back on Arthur.
“I’m sure. I’m going to be a while here.” He gives her a kiss.
Cassidy returns the kiss. She wanted to stay with him, but it might complicate things. She feels him end the kiss.
“I’ll call you when I leave here.” A smile appears on his face.
“You better.” Cassidy smacks Arthur’s arm and heads out to her car.
Once she is in her car, Cassidy heads home and parks next to Danny’s pick-up truck. When she walks into the house, she heads towards the kitchen and notices that one of the guys finished making the stew for her. She tastes the stew to make sure it was right.
Cassidy adds a few spices that it was missing. She stirs the stew and let it simmer for a while.
“Is everything okay?” Larry comes walking into the kitchen.
“I don’t know. Mr. Hughes house looked like a tornado had gone through it.” Cassidy pours herself some of her peach moonshine in her
favorite mason glass.
“Do you think its those guys that attacked you, that tore his place apart?” Larry wonders how deep in debt Mr. Hughes was too those guys.
“I would have to say yes. Arthur is there right now with a forensics team.” Cassidy takes a sip of the moonshine.
It had a nice peach flavor too it. It wasn’t too weak or too strong. She takes another sip from her mason glass jar and swishes it around before swallowing.
“Well, hopefully Arthur can find out who those guys are and who they are working for. Because if they come after you again, Cassidy. Me and Danny are going to teach them some matters.” Larry made a promise to look after Cassidy. He knew Danny did as well.
“Thanks, Larry.” Cassidy gives him a sisterly hug.
“Any time.” Larry just holds Cassidy in a brotherly embrace.
Cassidy snuggles closer to Arthur as he held her in his arms in her bed. She loved feeling his strong muscular arms holding her and his hard-on resting against her butt. She was still sore from the lovemaking they did last night. She couldn’t believe how wide and long he was and wonders if she’ll be able to take him when she has the surgery to give her, her own vagina.
Her alarm clock goes off at seven in the morning. She reaches over and slaps the snooze button. She knew Arthur had to be at work soon.
She turns around in his arms and kisses him “good morning, sweetie.”
Arthur returns the kiss as Cassidy’s breasts press against his chest. He holds her in his arms and looks into her hazel eyes.
“You know I am going to have to get up soon and head to work.” He places a kiss on her nose.
“I know, I just don’t want you too.” She kisses his lips.
“You are not making this easy.” Arthur returns the kiss.
“Good.” As she kisses him again.
They kiss for a while before Arthur is forced to get up by his bladder. He heads towards the bathroom and uses it. He hops into the shower afterward.
Cassidy grabs a pair of clean ruffle panties and put them on. She also puts on a short nightshirt and heads towards the kitchen to make some breakfast for Arthur. She could tell the guys had already been in the kitchen. They didn’t rinse their breakfast dishes or put them in the dishwasher.
She rinses them and put them in the dishwasher. Afterward, she starts making breakfast for Arthur. She knew what he liked, so it doesn’t take long for her to get it ready.
Cassidy feels Arthur pressed up behind her as she is pressed against the counter edge. She closes her eyes when she feels him kiss the hollow of her neck and shoulder.
“I love your ruffle panties. You should wear them more often.” As he kisses the hollow space at the bottom of her neck and shoulder.
“If I burn your food, I’ll have to restart the process.” Cassidy was barely containing herself.
Arthur stops after a few seconds. He could tell she was ready to submit and let him have his wicked ways with her. He gives her one more kiss and walks over and sits down at the kitchen table.
Cassidy fixes two plates and walks over to join Arthur at the table. She already had his coffee prepared as she takes a bite of her food.
“I hope I got your coffee right.” She knew Arthur loved black coffee, but she doesn’t know if he’ll like the silk coffee she drinks.
Arthur takes a sip of his coffee and tries to guess what it was. It was dark and smooth, not like the coffee he normally drunk.
“What type of coffee is this?” He looks at Cassidy.
“It’s called Black Silk roast coffee. I have fallen in love with it.” Cassidy takes a sip of hers.
Unlike Arthur and the guys that lived with her. She liked her coffee with cream and sugar. She takes another sip of her coffee and then eats some of the eggs she made.
After Arthur finishes breakfast, he fixes a coffee to go and gives Cassidy a kiss. He walks with Cassidy to the front door “you stay out of trouble.”
“Hey, I don’t go looking for trouble. Trouble just seems to find me.” As she gives him a kiss.
“Well, stay home and stay out of trouble.” Arthur walks towards his Jeep, which was parked behind Cassidy’s car.
Cassidy watches as he drives off. Once she couldn’t see him any longer. She heads back to the kitchen to clean their breakfast dishes up and take a shower afterward. When she is fully dressed, and her hair was dry. She grabs her lightweight blue jean jacket and heads out to the barn.
Cassidy checks the horse feed to make sure there was enough in the feed box. She also checks her hidden stash of moonshine she made before quitting for winter. Once everything was accounted for, she moves the horse from one pasture to another one.
As she is walking back to the house, she spots a car coming up the long driveway. She rushes towards the house and enters through the back door. She turns the outside camera on and watches as the car stops behind. The two guys that came to the shop get out and start walking up to her front door. She grabs her uncle’s Winchester out of the gun cabinet and opens the door.
“That’s far enough. What do you want?” Cassidy had the shotgun aimed directly at them.
“We just come here to talk. Why don’t you put that gun away?” Leonard slowly moves his hand to his gun.
Cassidy saw what he was doing and fires the shotgun at the ground next to him “you try that again, and I’ll shoot you where you stand.”
The taller guy, Leon smirks “you think you can shoot both of us before we shoot you?”
“Go ahead and let’s see. This shotgun is loaded with double 00 bucks. So, I can still get both of you with one shot.” Cassidy smirks because
she was good with a shotgun.
Leon glances towards Leonard “alright, we’ll leave. However, this isn’t over.” Leon and Leonard get back into their car and drive off.
Cassidy watches them for a few, before lowering the shotgun. She dials Arthur’s cellphone number. She hopes he hasn’t arrived at the office yet.
Arthur was just pulling into the parking lot when his cellphone starts ringing. He answers it “hello?”
“Arthur, they were just here.” Cassidy kept watching the driveway.
“Who was just there, Cassidy?” Arthur could hear that Cassidy was a little upset.
“The men that came to the Antique store. They were just here.” Cassidy heads back inside the house.
Arthur puts his car in reverse and heads back towards Cassidy’s house. As he is driving back towards her house “what car are they in?”
“They are in a black Mercedes Benz heading up Route 460. You should be able to intercept them at Old Jones Road. They would either have to keep going straight or run into you.” Cassidy knew all the roads around her ranch.
“Well, go back inside and lock the door.” Arthur was concerned about Cassidy’s safety.
“Oh, they won’t be coming back here.” Cassidy walks towards her front door and goes inside.
She keeps the shotgun nearby just in case they come back to her house. She wasn’t going to let them get a second chance to hurt her. She reloads the shotgun while still on the phone with Arthur.
“I don’t want to know. I’ll call you later.” Arthur ends the call.
Cassidy tucks her cellphone back into her back pocket as she wipes the shotgun down. She leaves it out just in case they come back to the house. She goes into her bedroom and grab a load of dirty laundry and put them on to wash.
Arthur was looking for the Black Mercedes Benz and spots it just as it was making a left-hand turn towards the road he was on. He turns the lights on and does a U-turn to go after it.
The black Mercedes Benz speeds up and starts weaving in and out of traffic.
Arthur tries to keep pace in his Jeep, but it doesn’t have the horsepower of the Mercedes as it speeds away from him. He dials the number to dispatch. He waits as the line is finally answered.
“Betty, I need for you to put an all-points bulletin out on a black 2 door Mercedes Benz, license plate number ZHY-8905. It’s heading up Main
street currently.” Arthur was still trying to keep up with it, but all he could do was just keep track of where it was going.
Arthur could hear other police cars coming up from behind him. They pass him as they try to locate the Mercedes Benz. After twenty minutes the chase is called off. They lost the car and could find it.
Arthur turns around and heads back to Cassidy’s house. When he pulls up into the driveway, he spotted where she must have shot into the ground. He hops out of his Jeep and rushes towards the house. He knocks on the door and hopes she is okay.
Cassidy heard someone knocking on her front door and checks the camera and notices it was Arthur. She heads towards the door and opens it. She throws her arms around him.
“Are you alright?” He looks at her to see if she’s been hurt.
“I’m fine. I had to demonstrate to those thugs that I meant business.” Cassidy smiles at Arthur.
“So, that explains the damage I saw outside. How soon did they show up after I left?” As he walks inside and closes the door behind him.
“Mmmm, I guess twenty or thirty-minutes minutes after you left. I was on my way back to the house when I spotted a car, I didn’t recognize coming up the driveway.” Cassidy rests her head against his shoulder.
“I am glad you are okay.” As he just hugs her.
After a few minutes “I have to go in and explain to the chief about what happened. You stay here at the house and call me if they come back.”
“I will.” Cassidy gives him a kiss before he leaves.
Once Arthur leaves. Cassidy checks on her laundry and goes about grabbing things for dinner.
Cassidy was making herself some lunch when she hears someone knocking on her front door. She looks through the peephole and notices it was her boss. She opens the door and couldn’t believe how much of mess he looked.
He dashes into Cassidy’s house while shutting the door behind him. He looks at Cassidy “I need your help, Cassidy.”
Wes looks at Cassidy with pleading eyes. He needed a place to lay low until he could figure a way to take care of the two debt collectors. They were sent to collect the package he had received in the last shipment of furniture. The thing was, it was drug money and the person it was meant for, was the one person he owed money too.
“What have you done Wes? Those men that are after you attacked me in the Antique store and have been by here as well.” Cassidy escorts her boss to the kitchen.
“Look, I’m sorry about involving you into this mess. They are here to collect on some drug money that was shipped to me.”
“First off, why would you do something so stupid to involve yourself in something like that. Secondly, would you like anything to drink?” Cassidy couldn’t believe how her boss would do something so stupid.
“Before I answer your first question. Do you have any of the moonshine you make, around?” Wes has had some of Cassidy’s moonshine.
A lot of the moonshiners around the area knew how good her stuff was. He could use a bottle of it now.
“Yes, I still have some. I’ll grab you a quart, while you explain why you got involved.” Cassidy goes over to the pantry and grabs a mason jar of moonshine for Wes.
“I had no choice, Cassidy. Those two men you met, work for the guy I owe money too.”
Cassidy hands the mason jar to Wes.
“Thank you.” Wes opens the jar and takes a big swig from it.
“You’re welcome.” Cassidy looks at him.
It burned going down, but after all the running and hiding he has been doing lately. He needed it to kill the pain he was feeling.
“Okay, now that you have had a swig of moonshine. Why do you owe money to this mysterious other person?” Cassidy wonders if the Antique store was losing money.
“Because I have a gambling problem. He paid the people I owed money too. In return, I was letting him use the antique store to funnel his money and smuggle his money through.” Wes takes another swig of the moonshine.
“So, why is he coming after you, now? Did you miss a payment or something?” Cassidy couldn’t figure out why she was involved now.
“Because the last shipment he sent didn’t arrive.”
“So, he thinks you had something to do with it?” Cassidy pours herself a glass of lemonade.
“Yes.” Wes looks towards Cassidy.
“So, did you misplace the shipment or????” Cassidy wonders what happened to it.
“I don’t know what happened to it. All I know, the piece of furniture that it was supposed to come in, didn’t have it.” Wes had checked the furniture himself.
“Which piece was it and what day was it supposed to come in?” Cassidy remembered they got in several pieces last week.
“It was supposed to be in an antique hutch, and it was last Wednesday that it was supposed to arrive.”
“There was an antique hutch that came in last Friday and it sold last Saturday,” Cassidy remembers Mr. King and his wife coming in and buying it.
“What color was it?” Wes wonders if it was the one he has been missing.
“A maple color, if I remember right. It matched the rest of their furniture.” Cassidy knew their part-time sales clerk sold it to the Kings.
“I need to check it.” Wes tried to stand up, but the effects of the moonshine were affecting him.
“Look, Wes, let me inform Arthur so he can investigate the hutch and see if the money is there or not.” Cassidy figures she had Mr. and Mrs. King’s home address at the antique store.
“Who is Arthur?” Wes didn’t know that name.
“He’s the deputy sheriff I’m dating and who is currently working on this case.” Cassidy pulls her cellphone out and dials Arthurs cell number.
Sheriff’s Office:
Arthur was running the facial images of the two men that attacked Cassidy. So, far he had nothing. As he gets up and heads over to get a fresh cup of coffee. His cellphone starts ringing.
He looks at the caller id and notices it was Cassidy’s number “hey sweetheart, what can I do for you?”
“Hey as well. You won’t believe who I have in my kitchen right now?”
“Oh, let me guess. Is it your boss?” Arthur stops at the coffee station.
“Bingo! I think you need to come by here.” Cassidy notices that Wes was slowly nodding off. He has gone through half the mason jar.
“Is he alright with you there?” Arthur fills his coffee cup and put the lid on it.
“I’m fine. He’s halfway drunk right now.” Cassidy kept watching Wes chug down the moonshine.
“Alright, I’m heading back to your place now.” Arthur turns around and heads towards his jeep.
“I’ll see you when you get here.” Cassidy ends the call.
“Come on Wes, let’s clean you up and get you changed into some clean clothes.” Cassidy helps Wes to the main bathroom and help him strip out of his clothes.
Once the tub was filled with hot water, she lowers him down “alright, you’re on your own, Wes.”
Cassidy heads back into the living room, leaving Wes in the bathroom in the tub.
While Wes was in the bathroom, taking a bath. Cassidy goes into her roommate’s bedroom and borrows some clothes for Wes to wear when he gets out of the tub.
She checks the windows to make sure the men that were looking for Wes weren’t coming up the driveway. She grabs her uncle’s shotgun and reloads it. She didn’t want to be caught unprepared with no shotgun shells loaded in her gun.
After she loads the shotgun up. She hears Wes getting out of the tub. She knocks on the bathroom door.
“Hey, do you need any help?”
“I’m fine.” Wes pulls on the t-shirt Cassidy left for him.
“Alright.” Cassidy walks back to the window in the living room and spots Arthur’s jeep coming up the driveway.
She watches as he parks next to her car and heads towards the front door..
Arthur, Wes, and Cassidy headed towards the King’s resident. They managed to go by the store to get the address without being seen. When they left Cassidy’s uncle’s house. They took an old logging road no one remembered. If Arthur wasn’t driving a Jeep, they wouldn’t have made it.
Once they were past where Cassidy lived. They could avoid the people looking for Wes.
“How are you feeling this morning?” Cassidy looks towards Wes. He drunk the whole mason jar of moonshine last night.
“Like my head is ready to split opening.” Wes was sitting behind Cassidy as Arthur drove them to the King’s resident.
“I tried to warn you, but you wouldn’t listen to me.” Cassidy knew her moonshine tend to be on the extreme strong side.
Arthur just smirks at Cassidy’s comment. He knew how strong her moonshine was and how she waters down some, so it doesn’t affect people as strongly. He keeps looking in the rearview mirror to make sure they weren’t being followed.
They pull up the driveway to the King’s ranch and park next to Mr. King’s truck. Arthur gets out followed by Cassidy and Wes.
“Do you think they will let us look at the hutch?” Cassidy was curious.
“There is no reason he shouldn’t.” As Arthur walks up to the front door and knocks on it.
A few seconds after ringing the doorbell, it opens, and an old grey-haired man stands there. He had on a light blue shirt sleeve dress shirt and dress slacks.
“Can I help you?” Mr. King was wonder who the gentleman was standing before him.
“Hi, Mr. King. I’m Deputy Sheriff Arthur Battle and I was wondering if I could have a few words with you.”
“Sure, come on in.” Mr. King opens the door and steps aside to let Arthur, Cassidy, and Wes inside.
He escorts them to the living room and invites them to have a seat. He sits down in a high back leather chair. He watches as they sit down as well.
“Mr. King, do you still have that Hutch you bought from my store?” Wes looks at Mr. King
Mr. King turns his attention to Wes “yes, its in our spare bedroom. Why do you ask?”
“Because we need to see it. We won’t do any damage to it, I promise.” Wes knew there wasn’t any way that Mrs. King would have found the
secret compartment in the Hutch.
“Alright, if you’ll follow me.” Mr. King gets up out of his chair and leads Wes to the guest room.
Arthur and Cassidy had followed and been standing near the doorway watching Mr. King and Wes. Cassidy leans close to Arthur to whisper in his ear “do you think he might try to run?”
“If he does, he’ll have the two men that are looking for him on his trail.” Arthur had been thinking the same thing.
Wes looks inside the hutch and locates the secret compartment. He opens it and pulls out all the money inside.
“Man, I wish I knew it was in there.” Mr. King didn’t know about the money hidden in the Hutch.
“Trust me, Mr. King, you wouldn’t want the trouble this money brings.” Arthur didn’t want to see Mr. King get hurt.
Once Wes has all the money in the Hutch. He shows Mr. King the hidden compartment and opens it as well. That way if he wanted to hide something he could.
“Did you put this in there or wasn’t it already part of the Hutch?” Mr. King was curious.
“This particular model came with this feature. I bought it from the family that originally built this Hutch. Their great, great grandfather used to
hide his money in here.” Wes bought a lot of antiques from that family.
Once Wes was done showing Mr. King the secret compartment. They leave the King’s residents and head back to Arthur’s place. The guys looking for Wes wouldn’t think to look there for Wes.
While they are there, she fixes lunch for Wes and Arthur. Cassidy wonder what their next move should be? Should they just give the money over to the two guys or should they set them up and arrest them?
“Guys, lunch is ready.” Cassidy walks into the living room where the guys were and spotted Arthur laying on the floor. Wes was nowhere to be seen.
“Why that little weasel.” Cassidy puts the serving tray down and goes over to check on Arthur.
Cassidy saw that he had a bump on the back of his head. She helps him up off the floor and onto the sofa.
“Wait here.” Cassidy heads to the kitchen and fill a ziplock bag with ice and wrap it with a towel.
She takes it back out to Arthur and presses it on the bump. Why did Wes do what she and Arthur thought he was going to do? Also, how did he catch Arthur off guard?
“Thanks.” As Arthur holds the ice pack against his head.
“So, how did Wes get the drop on you?”
“He hit me from behind, while I was getting the micro-recorder from the self over there.” Arthur felt like a fool for letting himself get knocked out as he did.
Cassidy couldn’t believe the creep had turned on them. They were trying to help him.
“So, what do we do now?” Cassidy wanted to arrest the creep for turning on them.
“We find Wes and arrest him. We also find the two guys that are looking for him as well. There are a few agents from the ATF looking for
moonshiners in town. I can let it slip that Wes is a moonshiner.” Arthur had learned about the agents just recently.
“Do they know about me?” Cassidy was concerned about being found out.
“No, I didn’t say anything about you. However, I would be careful while they are in town.” Arthur meant to talk to Cassidy about the ATF agents in town.
“Now, we have to figure out where Wes has gone too. Because I don’t think he is going to give the money back to those men. Why else would he hide it and not give it to them?” Cassidy checks the bump on Arthurs' head.
After a while, Arthur pulls his cellphone out and puts an APB for Wes. Once that was done, he gets up and heads out to his Jeep. He and Cassidy discover all four tires were slashed.
“Dam! I just got those tires three weeks ago.” Arthur was pissed. The tires on his Jeep were slashed.
Cassidy pulls her cellphone out and calls a friend of hers to come and get them. She wonders where Wes has gone to hide. The antique store would be useless, his home would be useless.
Arthur could tell Cassidy was thinking about something “what’s on your mind?”
“Where would Wes go? He’s on foot and carrying a lot of money?” Cassidy walks over to the road and looks down it.
“He’s got to be working with someone. I didn’t see anyone when he spent the night at my place.” Cassidy wonders who he could be working with.
After fifteen minutes, Cassidy’s friend shows up and gives them a ride back to her place.
Cassidy wiggles her butt against Arthur penis. She was sore, but she loved it. She feels Arthurs' hand squeeze her right breast.
“You keep doing that and I’m going to fuck you so hard, that you can’t walk.” Arthur pinches her nipple hard.
“Ow! That hurt.” Cassidy’s nipples were sensitive.
“Then stop wiggling your butt.” Arthur places a kiss on Cassidy’s cheek.
“I can’t wait until I have the operation. I am going to want to use my new vagina every single day.”
“I’ll hold you to that. Also, when your doctor gives you the clear to have sex, I am going to help you wear it in. But now we need to figure out what we are going to do about Wes. Where is he holed up?” Arthur and Cassidy had come back to his house after getting the tires replaced on his Jeep.
Cassidy turns around in Arthur’s arms, so she could look into his eyes. She felt Arthur’s penis resting against her tiny birth defect.
“I don’t know much about Wes, but I think he might be seeing someone. If he is, he might go to them to hide.” Cassidy loved being close to Arthur’s chest.
“Do you know where they live?” Arthur rubs the lower part of Cassidy’s back.
“No, but I think I might know someone who might.” Cassidy figures Clair over at Rosey’s might know.
“Then let’s go see this person and hopefully learn where Wes is hiding.” He gives Cassidy a kiss, before getting out of bed.
Cassidy gets out of bed and beats him to the bathroom first. Once she was done and walking out “your turn.” As she plants a kiss on his cheeks.
She wiggles her butt as she walks past him. She loved teasing Arthur. She watches as he goes into the bathroom. She walks over and starts getting dress. She decided to keep some clothes over at his place, whenever she decided to spend the night.
Once she is dress, she heads downstairs to Arthur’s kitchen and makes coffee for the two of them. By the time Arthur comes downstairs, she hands him his coffee.
“Thanks.” He grabs his car keys.
“You’re welcome. Let’s go and talk with Clair over at Rosey’s.” She starts walking towards the front door.
It takes them about twenty minutes to drive to Rosey’s. The outside of the place hasn’t been touched since the first day it opened by in the ’50s.
“Wow, this is an old place.” Arthur turns the jeep off.
“Don’t be fooled by the outside.” They head inside the place.
“Okay, I'm impressed.” Arthur was looking at how nice everything was inside the restaurant.
A young woman with shoulder length sandy blonde hair approaches them. She looked to be in her late twenties.
“Yes, we’re here to see Clair. Is she around?” Cassidy was hoping she was.
“She’s in the kitchen. If you’ll wait a few minutes, I can go and get her for you.”
“Thanks.”
The young hostess heads towards the kitchen. She knew Clair was in it somewhere. She spots her over near the prep area.
“Clair, there’s two people asking for you at the hostess station.”
“Alright, I’m coming.” Clair wipes her hands and heads towards the front of the restaurant.
While Cassidy and Arthur were standing and waiting. Cassidy spots Clair when she comes out of the kitchen. She was an older woman and her hair was slowly turning grey.
Clair spots Cassidy standing with a deputy Sheriff. She wonders what trouble Cassidy has gotten into now.
“Okay, what trouble have you gotten yourself into, now?” Clair looks towards Cassidy.
“None, I’m not in any trouble, but I was hoping you could help Arthur, here.” Cassidy points towards Arthur.
Clair looks at Arthur. She hasn’t seen him before, but she could tell how close Cassidy was to him.
“What type of help, do you two need?”
“Do you know where Wes’s girlfriend lives?”
“Yes, I do. Why do you need to know?” Clair looks at them with a suspicious look on her face.
“We need to find Wes before they get killed.” Cassidy knew he was going to be killed if she and Arthur didn’t step in and stop them.
Clair just stands before Cassidy and the deputy Sheriff and think about what she should do. She knows Jenny was in love with Wes.
“How badly is the danger?” Clair direct her question towards Arthur.
“Extreme trouble. There are two men that want Wes dead.” Arthur had a serious look on his face.
“Alright, her place is down off route 606, just past Huckabee lane. It’s 17542.” Clair hopes she was doing the right thing.
“Things Clair.” Cassidy gives Clair a hug.
They head back towards the jeep and get in. Cassidy figures it was going to take them a while to get to Wes’s girlfriend house.
As Cassidy and Arthur approached Jenny’s single wide trailer. They hear a woman’s scream and gunshots coming from inside the trailer. There were three cars parked in front of the trailer.
There is crashing sound as several bullets pass through the sheet metal skin and hitting the windshield of two of the cars.
“Get down Cassidy.” Arthur grabs his mike.
Cassidy gets as far down in the jeep as she could. She watches Arthur as he calls for back-up.
“Stay here Cassidy.” Arthur gets out of the Jeep and uses the parked cars for cover.
Cassidy watches Arthur as he moved from one car to another for cover. There are two more gunshots. The front door of the trailer opens and one of the guys that had visited Cassidy’s place and attacked her comes stumbling out. He looked like he had been shot. He falls down the steps and lands on the ground.
Arthur waits a few seconds and moves quickly to the man. Blood was pooling under the shorter guys body. He moves towards the entrance of the trailer and carefully peek inside. The place looked all shot-up. The big guy that had been with the short guy was laying on the floor with blood pooled under him.
He spots a woman laying on the floor about twenty feet away. She had half her head blown away. Down the hallway towards the master bedroom, he saw Wes body laying on the floor. He was moaning. Arthur moves carefully around the bodies and pool of blood. He saw where the bullets went through the wall.
He stops when he gets to Wes and see that he had been shot three times. Two bullets had hit his shoulders and one had hit his right upper thigh. Arthur kneels next to him and checks for a pulse. He still had one, which was good and bad.
Cassidy was still out in the Jeep waiting to hear from Arthur. Several county sheriff cars show up. Just as they showed up, Arthur comes walking out of the trailer. He stops anyone from entering the trailer, till paramedics and corner shows up.
Cassidy gets out of Arthur’s Jeep and walks over to Arthur. She saw some blood on his uniform.
“Is he in there?”
“Yes, he is, but he is in bad shape.” Arthur found the bag that the money was in, just inside the Master bedroom.
“I wonder what happened here?” Cassidy was curious.
“That is a good idea and we’ll find out.” Arthur goes back to talk with his people.
Cassidy just watches as the deputy sheriff’s record the crime scene. She made sure to keep out of their way. She walks around towards the back of the trailer and notices a wooden shed. It wasn’t too far from the back door. She walks over towards it and carefully peek inside. She spotted a Victory Magnum motorcycle that looked like it had been prep as an escape vehicle. She’ll have to see if she could buy it when they auction it off. She takes a picture of it and goes to find Arthur. She took the keys that had been in it with her, just in case someone was going to try and leave. She spots Arthur talking with several other deputies. She waits before approaching him.
“Hey, I found these keys in a victory magnum motorcycle in the shed around the back of the trailer. It was all packed and ready to go.” She hands him the keys.
“Thanks, Cassidy, but you really need to stay in the jeep or I can have one of the deputies give you a ride home.” Arthur didn’t need for her to
be contaminating the crime scene.
“Fine, I thought it might be important.” Cassidy turns and walks back to the Jeep.
She grabs her bottle of warm water and takes a sip. She hated just sitting and watching. She wonders if Wes was going to make it and why he involved his girlfriend.
Cassidy falls asleep waiting on Arthur. She had her head resting against the back of the seat, after reclining it back. The light sweet breeze helped her drift off.
When Arthur was done investigating what happened. He heads towards his jeep and finds Cassidy curled up and sound asleep. It had gotten late in the evening.
He gently shakes Cassidy's shoulder “hey sweetie, wake-up.”
She doesn’t move at all when he shakes her. He tries again “hey, Cassidy. Wake-up sweetie.”
Cassidy’s eyes open on the second try. She looks over at Arthur “are you done?”
“Yes, how about we stop at Captain D’s and grab some dinner?”
“Sounds good. Oh, when you auction off the Victory motorcycle, I want it.” Cassidy fixes her seat, so she is sitting straighter.
“I’ll see what I can do for you, sweetie.” Arthur starts the Jeep and drives towards the local Captain D’s on the way back to his place.
Cassidy closes her eyes and enjoyed the wind as it blew by her warm face. When she opens them, she glances towards the passenger side mirror. She notices they had a black car following them.
“Arthur, I think we have a tail.” Cassidy looks towards Arthur.
“I noticed.” Arthur changes lanes and drifts back to let the cars in the lane he left, pass him.
Cassidy reaches behind her back and takes her bra off. She had it dangling in her hand as the car that was following them tried not to pass them. They couldn’t move over, because a semi took up most of the lane.
“Here, toss my bra onto their windshield.” She hands it to Arthur.
Arthur just smirks as the car gets closer and closer to him. They were almost beside him when he tossed Cassidy’s bra right onto their windshield. He watches as they tried to miss the bra.
“Well, that’s twelve dollars down the drain.” Cassidy had a smile on her face.
“I’ll buy you another one.” Arthur moves back over to the left-hand lane and pulls into the Captain D’s parking lot.
They stand outside and watched as the car drives right by them. They couldn’t see the license plate, because they had some sort of cover over it. However, Cassidy did manage to snap a picture of the driver with her cellphone.
“Gotcha.” Cassidy had a big smile on her face.
“You better be careful, Cassy.” The two of them head inside the restaurant.
“Thanks, Jerry.” Cassidy loads the bags of corn into the back of her uncle’s old pick-up truck.
She already had a few bags of sugar and some brand-new containers. She picked-up to fill with the moonshine she was planning to make. She pulls her panties from her butt crack. Arthur had made love to her before he left for work.
Once the bags of corn were loaded, she hops into the truck and heads back to her horse ranch. She heads up her driveway and takes the right-hand dirt path that leads to the barn. She turns the truck around and back into the barn to unload the truck. She drops the tailgate and starts moving the bags of sugar and the corn to a cart.
Once the cart is loaded, she pulls it back to where the plastic barrels are and start making the mash she was going to need to ferment. Once she has everything mixed properly. She seals the barrels and waits. She hides the barrels; just in case someone from the ATF come by to inspect her place.
Cassidy goes about cleaning the area up and feeding the horses. She wonders what will happen to the antique store. She really loves that place and the people who come in.
She pulls the money she has been saving for her surgery and count it. She had close to twelve thousand dollars. If she sells all the moonshine she is making right now, she could come up with another six thousand. Maybe she could see about getting a loan and buying the store.
She grabs her purse and heads towards the bank she has been dealing with and that held the mortgage of her uncle’s place. She hopes Mr. Fould-Springer will help her out. She takes her car and drives to the bank. Once she has arrived, she heads inside to talk with Mr. Fould-Springer about getting a business loan.
Cassidy comes down from Mr. Fould-Springer’s office happy. He had informed her, that if she was willing to assume responsibility for the loan that her boss had on the place. He would finance her. Also, in exchange for this favor, she would have to give him 30 gallons of her vanilla cherry moonshine. That part they would keep quiet between them.
She heads towards the antique store and head inside. She was going to have to change the locks and have everything put in her name. She
walks through and takes inventory of everything that they currently had on stoke. Some of the stuff she knew she could markdown, to sell fast. Some of it, she wanted to get top dollar for.
By the time she was done doing inventory, she locks the place up and heads towards Arthur’s place. She was supposed to have dinner with him. She arrives at his place and could hear gunfire coming from inside Arthur’s place. She parks her car and sneaks up towards his place. When she looked in one of the windows, she notices Arthur fighting with the gentleman they passed on the highway. The one she had Arthur throw her bra onto the windshield.
She pulls her cellphone out and calls the Sheriff department. Why was this guy coming after Arthur? She watches as the two men go at it.
Arthur had managed to knock the gun out of the other guy's hand. Cassidy notices that the other guy didn’t stand a chance in a hand-to-hand attack with Arthur. Arthur’s military training was showing through and he was beating the hell out of the other guy.
Cassidy stands up and heads inside the house. Arthur had stopped punching the guy.
“Looks like there’s a new sheriff in town.”
Arthur looks over towards her “how long have been there?”
“Not long. I saw you disarmed him and then beat the living daylights out of him. Who is he and why did he come after you?” Cassidy was curious about who and why the guy came after Arthur.
“Don’t know, but I will find out.” He looks up when hears hear sirens coming towards his home.
Cassidy heard them as well “I called them.”
“Thanks.” Arthur heads towards the downstairs bathroom to tend the blood on his fist.
Cassidy wonders who the person was as well. He was the same guy that drove by them when they went to Captain D’s.
“Who are you?”
The sheriff department arrives and takes over the crime scene. Arthur and Cassidy go and sit outside, while the department takes photos and do forensic. Cassidy takes Arthur’s hand into her own and looks at the “you're going to be sore later.”
“Maybe, but I’ll live.” Arthur removes his hand out of hers.
The next few hours, Cassidy stays with Arthur. Once the teams and clean-up crew leave. Her and Arthur head up to his bedroom and get ready for bed.
She lays down next to Arthur and enjoys feeling his arms wrap around her slender waist. She wishes her plumbing was correct because she would love to feel him inside her, other than her ass. She listens to Arthur’s breathing as he falls asleep.
She lays there next to him feeling his manhood pressing against her panty bottom. She wonders if she should tell him she was taking over the antique store. She hopes she can make it work.
Cassidy finally falls asleep and hope there aren’t any surprises tomorrow.
Cassidy is woken, when Arthur gets out of bed and heads towards the bathroom. She glances towards the clock on her side of the bed and
notices it was six in the morning. She moans as she tries to force her body to get out of bed.
She finally manages to get up and goes to use the other bathroom. She figures Arthur was going to be a while. As she finishes her business and heads back to the master bedroom, she hears the shower going.
A smile appears on her face as she takes her nightclothes off and joins Arthur in the shower. Afterward, they head out of the bathroom and get dress in the clothes she wore yesterday.
“I can make breakfast for you.” Cassidy looks at Arthur as he double checks his uniform.
“I’ll grab something on the way, sweetie.” Arthur plants a kiss on Cassidy’s cheek.
Cassidy follows Arthur downstairs and out to her car. She follows him for a while, before stopping at her favorite Circle K to grab a cup of coffee and an apple Danish. She heads home and changes her clothes. She figures she should head to the store and open it up for business since she was the new owner.
Cassidy leans back in her office chair and looks at all the money she made during the week. She had done well, since reopening the antique store. She only had a few more items that she marked down to sell fast left in the store. She kept most of the people she worked with on as employees and enough money to cover payroll. She reduced her pay back down to something she could live on but didn’t hurt the store.
She managed to make over a hundred gallons of her specialty moonshine and sold at least half of it to her normal customers. That included the deal she had made with the bank manager. Arthur warned her that several agents from ATF were snooping around the town and to be careful.
Cassidy hears the front door buzzer being rung. She puts the money into the safe and locks it. She heads up to the front door to see who it might be. When she moves the curtain aside to see who it was, she notices two men casually dress on the other side of the door.
“We’re close. I’ll open at 9:00 am tomorrow.”
“We don’t want to buy anything, Ms. Hickey. We would like to talk to you, please?”
“What do you want to talk about, sir?”
“Mrs. Hickey, we’re ATF agents and would like to talk to you about some rumors we heard. Could we please come inside?”
“Can you show me your badges, gentlemen?” Cassidy wasn’t going to let them in her store.
Both men pull their badges and Id’s out. They held them so Cassidy could see them clearly.
“Alright.” She unlocks the door and opens it.
Agent Ferris walks in first, followed by agent Boris. They look towards Cassidy as she shuts the front door.
“So, what brings the ATF to my doorstep?” Cassidy turns around to look at the men.
“To be honest with you, Ms. Hickey. We need information and we know your family has lived in this town for a long time. We also know your uncles were moonshiners and I’m hoping that you can help us find the person selling tainted moonshine.”
“Tainted moonshine? I haven’t heard anything about anyone getting sick from drinking moonshine around here.” Cassidy knew most of shiners in town and around her county.
“It’s happening several counties over and the maker of moonshiner was traced to living here.” Agent Ferris knew Cassidy’s family has ties with most of the moonshiners in the area.
Cassidy looks at Agent Ferris and his partner. She knew he wasn’t the one that busted her uncle for running and making moonshine.
“I’ll see what I can do for you, agent Ferris. Is there a number I can reach you at?”
“Yes, here is my business card and my partners as well. Gives us a call if you find out something.” Ferris hands two business cards to Cassidy.
“Thanks, I will.” Cassidy unlocks the door and lets the two agents leave.
Once they were gone, she relocks the door and sits down to fill out the deposit slip. She was going to have to talk with some of the old-timers and see if they knew who the guilty person was. Because if they were selling tainted moonshine to people, that would cause people not to trust them. She double checks the deposits and tucks it into her purse.
Cassidy sets the alarm and heads towards the bank. She drops the deposit she had into the overnight deposit drop box. Afterward, instead of heading home, she heads towards Papa Joe’s home. He was one of the old-timers who she trusted the most and loved like a grandfather.
It’s taken her half-n-hour to get to his place. It was so far back into the woods, that he didn’t even have city power. She pulls up to an old log cabin home and spotted Papa Joe sitting on the porch in his favorite rocking chair, smoking his corncob pipe and watching the fireflies.
She parks next to his old 1950’s green pick-up truck. She remembered the first time she saw that truck. He had come to her uncle’s place to help him with his still.
“Hey, Papa Joe.” Cassidy walks up to him and gives him a hug.
Papa Joe watched as a car pulled up to his house. He didn’t recognize it. He watched as the driver gets out and start walking towards him. At
first, he didn’t know who they were until he heard the voice.
“Cassie, what brings you to my home at this hour?”
“Bad news Papa Joe. There seems to be a bad shiner in our mist, selling tainted shine two counties over.”
“How do you know this, Cassie?” Papa Joe looks at his friends, niece.
“I had two ATF agents stop by my store asking me about it. They know my family has been living here, since the civil war.” Cassidy had two
great uncles and a cousin that fought for the confederate during the war.
“You and several families have, including mine. However, that’s not important. Did they say how many were getting sick and in the hospital?” Papa Joe knew how government agents like to play games.
“No sir, they didn’t. All they did know was the person selling and making the shine lived here in our county and was selling two counties over. I
hate to think someone we know has anything to do with this. It would hurt our business.”
“That it would. I’ll call the other elders and have a sit down with them. Now, why don’t we talk about you and this shop you have now.?”
“You don’t miss much, do you, Papa Joe?” Cassidy walks over and sits down on an old tree stump that had been made into a chair.
“No. So, what type of store do you own?” Papa Joe takes a drag on his pipe.
“I took the antique store over. My former boss is in big trouble for having dealings with a loan shark. He was transporting and laundering
money for him.”
“I was always suspicious of your boss. He always seemed too secretive about his business.” Papa Joe remembered meeting him once.
Something about Wes just didn’t feel right to him. Papa Joe has always relied on his instincts throughout his life.
“Well, I hope you do well with the business, Cassie. You’re a smart cookie.”
“Thanks, Papa Joe.”
“You’re welcome. Why don’t you pour us a jar of moonshine, a piece?”
“Okay.” Cassidy gets up and head into Papa Joe’s place and pour two small mason jar’s up for her and him.
She comes back outside and hands his jar to him “there you go Papa.”
Papa Joe takes it and drinks some. He watches as Cassidy sits down and drinks some of hers as well.
Cassidy spends a few hours with Papa Joe. By the time she leaves his place, she has a buzz going on. She takes it easy going home. The last thing she needed was to be pulled over for being drunk.
When she gets home and walk from the garage to the house, she was stumbling. The moonshine had affected her more then she thought. She uses the wall for support as she looks towards Danny and Larry “can one of you help me to my bedroom please?”
A smirk appears on Danny’s face “drunk too much?”
“Something like that. I went to Papa Joe’s house to ask him something.” Cassidy was just tipsy when she left, but now she was fully drunk.
“That explains everything. Papa Joe’s stuff sneaks up on you.” Danny helps Cassidy to her bedroom.
He helps her undress and put her nightshirt on, before lowering her to her mattress and tucking her in.
“Sweet dreams, Cassie.” As he leaves her bedroom.
“So, have you thought about getting your surgery?” Arthur looks at Cassidy as they eat dinner.
Arthur had picked Cassidy up at the antique store and took her out for dinner. The other day she received her letters, so she could finally get her birth defect corrected.
“Yes, but I can’t get it right away. The shop is still getting out of the red and I only have two-part timers working for me.”
Cassidy wanted to get the operation as soon as possible. However, the store was still dragging itself out of the red. Most of the antiques she could markdown and sell fast were inching them closer to breaking even.
She had a couple come in yesterday and bought several pieces at what she was asking. The check for the purchase hadn’t cleared the bank yet. If the check is good, it will bring them up to five hundred dollars.
“Well, you know I could come up and give you a hand on the weekend.” Arthur was cutting into his steak.
“Thanks. The thing is, I need to go through the warehouse and see what needs to be fixed and redone.”
“I thought you said most people don’t want to buy antiques that have been worked on or redone?” Arthur was puzzled as he looked at Cassidy.
“Normally, no I don’t like fixing or redoing antiques. However, we have some in the warehouse that needs work done to them and they have been sitting there for a while.”
“Do you know anyone that might be able to fix them?”
“Yes, there’s an old-timer that I know that can fix them. He uses to work at a furniture store back in the day and was really good.” Cassidy was glad she knew him and that he was willing to do the work for her.
“Well, it sounds like you have everything handled.” Arthur was impressed with Cassidy.
“Well, almost everything. If I keep selling my inventory as I have. I’m going to need new inventory to replace it and that means going to estate
sells and such.”
“If you need help sweetie, I’ll give you a hand.”
“Thanks.” Cassidy was happy Arthur was willing to help.
“Any news about the person selling bad moonshine?” Arthur knew Cassidy went to talk to one of the older timers about the problem.
Cassidy looks at Arthur “I haven’t heard back yet from the old-timers. Even if they have found the person responsible, for selling bad moonshine. They wouldn’t tell me. That’s not how things are done among us moonshiners.”
Cassidy knew everything is kept among the old-timers and the guilty person or persons. There was a code all moonshiners followed, and no one broke that code. If they did, well the consequences were harsh.
Cassidy and Arthur finish dinner and later go to the movies. Cassidy was enjoying the time she and Arthur spent together. Her roommates loved it when she was happy. Arthur drops Cassidy off at her place.
“Are we still on for tomorrow night?” Cassidy was looking forward to their dates.
“Yes, and I’ll pick you up at the store.” He kisses her on the lips.
Cassidy returns the kiss and leans into Arthur’s body. Her legs felt like jelly and the only thing holding her up was Arthur’s strong arms. After a
few more seconds, they stop kissing and look into each other’s eyes.
Arthur could tell how much in love Cassidy was with him. He could see it in her eyes.
“I better let you head inside before we start tearing each other’s clothes off.”
A smile appears on Cassidy’s face “would that be a bad thing?”
“Not really, but you have a store to run and I have to be at the sheriff’s office. So, I’ll see you tomorrow evening.” Arthur gives Cassidy a light kiss on the cheeks and heads towards his Jeep.
Cassidy watches as Arthur walks off. She loved his butt in the tight jeans he was wearing.
The next morning Cassidy heads towards the store. When she pulls up to the store, there was a brown van sitting in front of the store. Inside were two men people. As she approached the store, she could see the passenger of the van looked to be about her age. The driver, on the other hand, looked to be around her uncle’s age.
The two men get out of the van when Cassidy approaches the door. The guy around Cassidy’s age was watching her, while the older guy was sipping his coffee.
“Hank, its good to see. I hope I’m not interrupting your retirement.” Cassidy unlocks the store and rushes to turn the alarm off.
“Retirement sucks Cassidy. I have too much time on my hands.” Hank walks into the store and looks around.
He couldn’t believe that the old place hasn’t changed much. It still looked like he remembered it when he retired. It uses to be the old furniture store he worked at.
“Well, I have plenty of work to keep you busy. If you’ll follow me to the storage area, you can see what I need to be done.” Cassidy starts walking towards the storage area in the back of the store.
Hank and his grandson Peter followed Cassidy to the back to see what she had that needed to be completed. Each step Hank took, kept taking him back when he worked in the building. Hank lets out a whistle when he sees how much stuff there was. It ranged from some broken trunks of various sizes to cabinets, chairs, dressers and other items.
“Yeah, I thought you might feel that way. All of this should keep you busy.” Cassidy was watching Hank as he moved about looking at everything.
“This is going to keep me and grandson busy alright. Do you want all original hardware used or will a modern piece work?”
“I want to keep it as original as possible. If you can’t find an original part, go ahead and substitute it with a reproduction part.”
“Alright, any other instructions?” Hank had a smirk on his face because he already knew what she was going to say.
“Yeah, keep the repairs cost down, please. I still need to make a profit on this stuff.” Cassidy knew how much she already had invested in the
furniture.
“Alright, we’ll take a few easy pieces and get them ready for you.”
“Thanks.”
Cassidy watches as Hank selects pieces he wanted to work on. The trunks were one of the things she needed to be repaired. She spots Peter helping his grandfather move the pieces out to their van. Once they were loaded up and drive off.
Cassidy prepares the store for business and goes through the newspaper looking for estate sells and such. She spots a few that were on the weekend that she and Arthur could go to. They were at different times and not too far away from each other. She figures they could go to all of them. She’ll have to take the company van, but hopefully she can get some good antiques.
Most of the day is slow and Cassidy dusts the shop. She does make a few small sales that help, but only in keeping the lights on. Once she is done dusting and polishing, she hears the bell just above the door ring. She turns to see who just walked in “Richard, what brings down to my store?”
Richard smile when he sees Cassidy “I came to give some good news. The person responsible for selling bad shine has been reported to the ATF agent you left with Papa Joe. It seems he poisoned more people than the agent told you.”
Cassidy was stun, normally the old-timers didn’t tell agents. She looks at Richard with disbelief on her face “I thought we policed our own?”
“We do, but his crime was more than we felt right to deal with, so we called your agent friend and gave him the information anonymously.”
“Remind me to never make you guys mad.” Cassidy hadn’t figured on that move.
“Trust me, Cassidy. If you committed a crime as bad as this person did. We would hang you out to dry. The only other option left to us was
putting him in the grave.”
“Oh! The crime was that bad?”
“Yes.” Richard couldn’t believe how bad things were when they found out.
“Thanks for telling me. I know you didn’t have too.”
“You’re one of us, Cassidy. Plus, your uncles are my best friends. So, that makes you family. If you need anything, let me know.”
“Thanks, Richard.”
Richard turns around and leaves the store. Cassidy goes about rearranging some antiques and wonder why the old timers had the person arrested.
Cassidy looks at all the moonshine she had squirreled away. She needed to get rid of some of it, so she could raise some cash for the store and for her operation. She was still ten thousand dollars short and she had at least thirty thousand dollars’ worth of moonshine made and stored.
“Watch you doing Cassie?” Danny spotted Cassidy in her panties and t-shirt looking into the hidden pantry that she stashes her moonshine in.
“Adding up how much money I have tied up in the moonshine. I need to move some of it to raise cash for my operation and for the store.” Cassidy closes the hidden door to the storage room.
“You could always see if Dale and Glen could help move some of the moonshine for you. They know a lot of people that would be willing to buy moonshine.” Danny knew both men and they had a list of people who they provided moonshine too.
“Yeah, but they will want thirty percent of the profit to sale it for me.” Cassidy would have to sell almost all her moonshine to get the money she needed.
“True, but maybe you can talk them down since your family has been around for a long time.” Danny knew Cassidy’s uncles and family have been selling moonshine for a long time.
“I’ll go by their place later today. So, what are you and Larry going to do today?” Cassidy was curious.
“Take care of the horses and see what we have preserved.” Danny couldn’t remember how much food he preserved after he did the harvest.
“Can you and Larry cut down some of the dead trees we have in the back pasture, please?” Cassidy spotted several trees that needed to be chopped down that had died.
“What are you doing today?” Danny looks at Cassidy.
“I and Arthur are going to several estate auctions going on today. Afterward, I’ll go by Dale and Glen’s place and ask them to sell my
moonshine.”
“How long will it take for you to recover from your surgery?” Danny knew Cassidy wanted to look like a girl.
“A week at the hospital and about three or four weeks afterward. I won’t be allowed to lift anything heavy and such.” Cassidy already looked at how long she needs to recover from the surgery.
“Have you and Arthur talked about getting married yet?” Danny knew Cassidy really loved Arthur.
“Not until I have my surgery. As for how soon, not really. I want to see what it is like being single and a girl before I marry anyone.”
“Don’t you love Arthur?” Danny thought Cassidy loved Arthur.
“Yes, god yes. I love him very much and enjoy what he does to me. He could tie me up and have his wicked ways with me.” Cassidy loved Arthur very much.
“That was more then I needed to know. Have you thought about where you guys would live?”
Cassidy now knew why Danny was asking so many questions. She walks over to him “you and Larry have nothing to fear. I would never ask you guys to move. You are like my big brothers and family. This house and property are as much yours as mine.”
“You are a pain in the ass for a little sister.”
“I know, but you love me.” Cassidy kisses Danny on the cheek.
Danny just shakes his head as he finishes his coffee off. A smile does appear on his face as he watches Cassidy leave the kitchen. He couldn’t imagine her being a male with the way she walks and behaves.
Cassidy heads towards the bathroom to take a shower. She already had some idea about what she was going to wear. She just hopes she
has enough money for the auctions. She gets the water the way she likes it and strips out of her nightshirt and panties. She so hated having her penis and couldn’t wait to have it removed.
Once she is finished with her shower and drying her hair. Cassidy heads into her bedroom and starts getting dress. She decided that going dressing semi-casual should be fine. She checks her purse to make sure she has enough cash for the estate sale.
Once she is dressed, she heads into the living room to look out the big bay window. She spots Arthur coming up the driveway. She waits until he comes to a complete stop before stepping outside and over to his jeep.
“Hey handsome, can you give a girl a lift?” Cassidy bats her eyelashes at him.
A big smile appears on Arthur’s face. There was at least a twenty-year age gap between the two of them and he was amazed Cassidy found him handsome.
“Sure, but I might ask for something in return.” He places a kiss on her cheek when she climbs into the jeep.
“Besides the kiss?” Cassidy returns the kiss.
“Yeah, besides the kiss. So, what are we doing first?” He turns the Jeep around in the driveway.
“We need to go by the shop so I can grab the van and afterward, we can hit the first estate sale.” Cassidy watches as Arthur drives back down the long driveway.
They head to the first estate sale and walk around looking at things. Some of the stuff they were for sale were antiques that were going to need some minor work. There really wasn’t much other stuff that caught Cassidy’s interest.
She ends up buying, a few antiques, and pictures. The estate did have an old console television set, that she knew she could convert to a newer television set. She ends up buying it as well.
The next estate sale had better antiques for sale and old fashion clothing as well. Cassidy ends up going through most of the money she brought with her. Plus, the space in the van was getting a little crowded.
Arthur looks at the items they just put in the van “there’s not much space left. Are you sure you want to go to this last sale?”
“Yes, must of this stuff, I’m going to have to touch up.” Cassidy wasn’t looking to spend hours touching up the paint up.
“Okay, you’re the boss.”
Arthur heads for the third estate sale. He glances over towards Cassidy as she sends a text.
“Who are you texting?” He was curious.
“Dale and Glen. I have too much moonshine stored up and I’m seeing if they would be willing to take it off my hands. I could put the money
towards getting my operation.” Cassidy looks over towards Arthur.
“Do you have anyone in mind to run the store, while you’re gone getting your operation and while you are recovering?” Arthur was concerned about the business and Cassidy while she recovered.
“I’m still thinking about that. I’ll have to hire someone full time to come in and run the store, while I’m out. As for my recovery, I can still go to the store, but I can’t lift much or move around.”
“Doesn’t, Dale have a daughter that is familiar with antiques?”
“You mean Dorothy?” Cassidy looks over towards Arthur.
“Yes, I mean Dorothy. Couldn’t you have her come and work for you?”
“You know, I hadn’t even thought of her. She would be perfect to cover for me. She could bring her baby up to the store.” Cassidy knew
Dorothy had turned into a stay at home mom to take care of her new baby.
Cassidy figures that Dorothy might like making some money and she could bring her baby as well. She hears her cellphone beep at her letting her know Dale had sent a reply to her text. He sent an address that he wanted her to show up at.
“Is that Dale?” Arthur glances at Cassidy.
“Yep, he wants to meet at his building over Sturgis Street.”
“Do you still want to go to this last estate sale?”
“Yes, I told him I’ll be there after I buy a few more things.” Cassidy tucks her cell phone in her back pocket.
Cassidy watches as Dale and Glen load their truck up with what was left of the moonshine she has been squirreling away. She had met with them, while she asked Arthur to get her some lunch from Wendy’s. She wanted to protect him from what she was doing. It wasn’t that he didn’t already know she made and sold moonshine, but he didn’t need to be involved with her discussing and selling the moonshine.
Dale looks at her, after putting the last five-gallon bucket of apple spice moonshine in the back of the truck. He and Glen did taste some of her specialty moonshines. They loved the taste and how it went down the throat. He reaches into his back pocket and pulls the envelope with the cash in it out “here you go, Cassidy. Thirty-five thousand dollars.”
Cassidy looks at him with a surprised look on her face “thirty-five thousand? I thought you were going to only give me twelve thousand.”
“Normally, we would Cassidy. However, we spoke to a few people interested in buying some of your five-gallon buckets of specialty moonshine. So, we are going to charge them a high price for the moonshine. Since we are going to do that. We figured you deserve a little more.” He smiles at her.
Cassidy walks over and gives him a kiss and a big hug “thank you.”
“You’re welcome, sweetheart.” Dale had a smile on his face.
After giving Dale a kiss and a big hug. She gives Glen a kiss and a big hug as well.
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” Glen gives Cassidy a hug.
Afterward, Dale and Glen get into their truck and drive off. Once they were down the long driveway that leads to Cassidy’s house. She heads inside with a big smile on her face. Now she can afford to get the operation and a little cosmetic surgery as well.
Her roommates were at work and so was Arthur. She heads towards the kitchen and grabs the rest of the cash she had on hand and count it. Altogether, she had close to forty-five thousand dollars.
She could put some of it towards the store.
Cassidy pulls her phone out and calls the doctor she had chosen to do her surgery. She sets up the date for the surgery. Dale’s daughter has agreed to come in and talk with her tomorrow. Cassidy is hoping she will be able to work the store for her. She puts the money in her panty and bra drawer.
Since it was her turn to cook dinner. Cassidy pulls the roast out they had in the freezer and let it defrost. She looks around in the kitchen to see where Danny or Larry hides the potatoes. The onions, she found without a problem. After ten minutes of looking, she finally found them.
She chops them up along with some carrots, mushrooms and a few other vegetables. She digs through the spices she has and picks what she needed from them.
Once, Cassidy, has everything prepared, she sets it aside to start later. She couldn’t believe her dream of finally getting rid of her birth defect was coming true. She’ll finally have her own vagina and be able to have sex with Arthur like a normal woman. Not that she hasn’t enjoyed feeling his cock in her ass. She was getting a little tired of having sex that way.
A shiver travels throughout her body as she thinks of what she was going to do, once she was completely healed. Once the roast was defrosted, she puts it in a pan and adds all the vegetables and spices to it. She puts it in the oven covered up and let it cook.
While she is in the kitchen, selecting some sides to go with the roast, her roommates Danny and Larry arrive at home. She hears them coming through the front door.
“Hey, guys. There’s cold beer in here.”
Danny hears Cassidy’s voice and walks into the kitchen. He spots her gathering items for dinner.
“So, how did it go with Dale and Glen?” As he walks towards the refrigerator.
“He gave me more then I thought he would. I can afford to get my surgery, which I arranged to do in three weeks. I can also get some
cosmetic surgery as well and put what’s leftover towards the antique store.” She opens a bag of frozen string beans and adds some country ham slice to them.
“What cosmetic surgery are you going to have?” Danny was curious.
“I’m planning on having my hips and butt cheeks filled out more. I also plan on having my small chest enlarged as well. I’m tired of having small breasts. Plus, have my face soften up some.”
“You’re going to do all this and have your SRS surgery?” Danny knew how much the SRS surgery was going to cost.
“Yep.” Cassidy grabs two more pots from the cabinets and fill one with water and place it on the stove. She’ll heat the water up once the roast
is three-quarters of the way done.
“So, what are you going to do, once you have all these surgeries done?” Danny was curious.
“That’s an easy question to answer. I’m going to have Arthur fuck my brains out.” A smile appears on her face.
“You do know, there’s not that much for him to push out of you.” A smirk appears on Danny’s face.
“I don’t care. I get to finally feel what it feels like to be made love too, like a normal woman.”
Cassidy pours some ice tea into her favorite glass and heads towards the living room.
Arthur looks at Cassidy as she packs her bags. She finally had the money and the letters she needed to have her surgery. The hospital she was having the surgery done at was in Charlotte, N.C. She’ll be spending a week in Charlotte. Afterward, she’ll be coming back home and be looked after.
Arthur was taking time off from his sheriff's duties to be by Cassidy’s side, while she recovers. He just stands in the doorway to her bedroom.
“You know, you won’t need many clothes.” Arthur had been in the room with Cassidy when the doctor who was doing the surgery informed Cassidy what to expect.
“I know, I just want to make sure I have everything I need.” Cassidy stops and looks at Arthur.
She wonders if he would want to marry her. She never asked him before.
“Arthur, would you say our relationship is serious enough, that we might get married one day?” Cassidy was searching for Arthur’s face.
“Is that what you would like?” Arthur steps closer to Cassidy and pulls her to him.
Cassidy looks up into Arthur’s eyes “Yes! I want to be your wife and raise any children we adopt.”
“So, you want children as well?” Arthur at one time wanted children. He had a soft spot for kids.
“Yes, I want to experience what it would be like to be a mother and also have someone to pass the antique business on to.” Cassidy wanted the antique store to be around after she died.
“You know if we get married. You’ll have to give up making moonshine, don’t you?” Arthur looks down into Cassidy’s eyes.
“Now you’re asking a lot. My family has been making moonshine for a long time. I can’t just quit making moonshine. How about when I make it. I won’t tell you and that way you can remain innocent of knowing about it?” a smile appears on Cassidy’s face.
“You do know you’re putting me in an awkward position by doing that.”
“I know, but making moonshine is my family tradition and my family has been doing it for centuries. It got us through some very tough times.” Cassidy remembered the stories her uncles would tell her about their family history.
How making moonshine had been the way they got money to pay their bills during the hard times in Americans history. How it had been traded for services they needed when family members became sick. Also, how it had even put a few of her cousins through college.
Arthur just shakes his head “look, you’ll have to cut back on your moonshine gig for a while. You have the antique business to bring money in and if we get married, you’ll have my income form the sheriff’s department and my retirement from the military.”
“I promise, I won’t make more than two hundred gallons of moonshine in total. How’s that?” Cassidy figures that would satisfy the number of orders she gets.
“Well, you won’t be making any for a few months after your operation.” He places a kiss on Cassidy’s lips.
Once Cassidy’s has her bags all pack. She carries them out to Arthur’s jeep. They had talked about which vehicle they would take, and
Arthur’s jeep won out. Arthur knew more about his jeep, then about Cassidy’s car.
Cassidy looks at Danny and Larry as they stood nearby. Cassidy walks over and gives each of them a hug “well fellows, it looks like I finally get my dream. When I come home next week, I’ll finally be a girl.”
“Just come back to us, Cassidy.” Larry hugs Cassidy first.
“Yeah, come back to us, safely.” Danny hugs Cassidy as well.
“I will guys.” Cassidy stands back and just look at Danny and Larry.
“Let’s get a move on, Cassidy. We’re looking at a two-n-half hour drive.” Arthur had googled the directions to the hospital Cassidy was going to be admitted to for her operation.
According to the route they were going to take. It was going to take them a shorter time going the route they planned to, then the other three routes.
Cassidy grabs her purse and walks out to Arthur’s jeep. She was feeling excited and nervous at the same time. Cassidy watches as they leave the house and start heading down the driveway.
Arthur glances at her “nervous?”
“Yes! I’m very nervous and wonder how everything will feel, once it is done.” Cassidy has always wonder what it would feel like once she had
the surgery.
“Well, when you are fully healed, we’ll see how well they did their job.” Arthur planned on helping Cassidy break in her new organ.
“Promises, promises.” Cassidy looks at Arthur with a smile on her face.
Arthur just smirks as they follow the directions from Arthur’s cellphone. They had already talked about what they were going to do after Cassidy’s surgery. They finally arrived in Charlotte late in the evening.
They had reserved a room at the Hampton Inn. Cassidy and Arthur were tired by the time they arrived.
“I want to go straight to bed.” Cassidy was glad to get out of the jeep. Two-an-half hours of straight driving was enough for her.
Arthur checks them in and gets their hotel room. They paid for a week and a half. It would give Cassidy some time to adjust to her new situation.
Their room was on the third floor. When they walk into the room, Cassidy flops backward onto the bed. She loved how the room smelled and how soft the bed was. She watches as Arthur carries their luggage into the room.
Arthur notices Cassidy falling backward onto the bed. He had all their luggage in his hand.
“You know, you could help me.”
“Okay.” Cassidy takes some of her bags and sets it aside. They got a room with twin beds since Cassidy wasn’t going to be in any condition to
mess around after she comes from the hospital. Once they are settled in. The two them step into the shower and fool around some since the night was going to be their last night for a while.
“Ow! Ow! Ow!” Cassidy was still sore after her surgery.
All she could remember after being put under for her surgery was waking up in pain several days later. Arthur had been by her side and flowers were decorating her room. She also had several large teddy bears.
She spends a week in Charlotte at the hospital her surgery was done. Afterward, she can go but is told that a nurse will be coming to her house to check on her recovery. The ride back to her home was unpleasant. She was feeling every bump they hit, and she was sitting on top of a blow-up doughnut.
She wishes she had some moonshine to kill the pain. The pain killers they were giving her, was messing with her head and causing her to have nightmares. Arthur carried her inside the house and laid her down in her bedroom. He helped undress her and put her in her favorite nightshirt.
By the end of the month, she could go back to work, but she couldn’t lift anything heavy. She pulled her aunt’s wedding dress out from storage and was having it fitted for her. When she woke up in the hospital, Arthur had slipped his mother’s engagement ring on her ring finger. She immediately said yes. They planned on getting married in the next few months.
Cassidy wanted a small wedding and she wanted to get married at her ranch. She knows Arthur is twenty years her senior, but she loves him very much. She also wanted to wear her Aunt’s wedding dress, since her mother sold hers.
As for Dorothy, Cassidy was impressed with the number of sales she had while she was recovering. She didn’t think Dorothy wouldn’t have so many sales. Still, she was going to have to do more buying to replace what was sold.
“How was your surgery?” Dorothy looks at Cassidy and wonders what it was like to be turned from one gender to another.
“Painful, very painful.” Cassidy moves slowly towards her desk.
She was going to see what estate sales were going on this week or in a few weeks. She already spoke to Hank and his grandson Peter. They were going to come and get the rest of the furniture she had in storage that needed to be repaired. She was happy that Hank decided to come out of retirement.
“Do you feel any different?” Dorothy was curious because she has never known anyone who has changed their gender.
“Yes and no. It’s strange not having my original organ. The thing is, I never liked it in the first place.” Cassidy didn’t miss her penis. She knew it
had been changed to form her vaginal lining.
“So, how long before you can break it in, to see if it works properly?” Dorothy wonders what Cassidy felt when Arthur puts his penis in her.
“Too early to test drive it. I must wait a few months before I can even think about having sex with Arthur. Which reminds me. There are a few estate sales coming up. How would you like to go to a few?”
“I’ll have to find a babysitter, but it would be nice to get away for a while.” Dorothy couldn’t remember the last time she went out anywhere.
“Well if you can’t find anyone. I might know two trustworthy guys that can help.” Cassidy figures her roommates wouldn’t mind helping Dorothy out.
“You’re talking about your roommates, aren’t you?” Dorothy has met them and liked the two of them.
“Yeah, they are trustworthy guys and great to have as roommates.” Cassidy loves her roommates.
Around lunchtime, Arthur brings lunch for all three of them. Cassidy perks up when she smelled the food.
“You went to La Hola, didn’t you?” Cassidy’s mouth was watering.
La Hola was an island-style food joint. It just opened a few weeks ago, while she was getting her surgery. Everything she heard about the
place so far has been good. She couldn’t wait to see what Arthur brought her.
Arthur sets out the food he bought for the ladies. He knew what type of food Cassidy liked and got her crispy coconut shrimp. He watches as she takes a bite of the shrimp and hears a low moan as it goes down her throat.
“You like?” Arthur had a smile on his face.
“Mmmm, yes.” Cassidy loved the taste of the shrimp.
She looks at her lunch box and noticed she has nine more pieces of shrimp to go. She continues to eat her lunch. She noticed that Dorothy had the same type of lunch that Arthur got her.
After lunch, Arthur needs to leave and go back to work. Before he leaves, he gives Cassidy a nice passionate kiss. He might be her senior by twenty years, but he knew she didn’t care.
“See you tonight, after work.”
“I’ll be here.” A smile appears on her face because she was deeply in love with Arthur.
She watches as he walks out of the store. Just as he walks out, a middle-age couple comes into her store. Dorothy was with another couple that came in behind them. So, Cassidy helps the first couple.
By the time she was finished with her customers. She helps another set of customers. After a while, she needs to sit down. Dorothy handles the customers that come in later, while she recovers. Since she was going to sit for a while. Cassidy decides to work on the books.
A big smile appears on her face as the number start showing that they were slowly making a profit. She was worried that they might be in the red or just breaking even. The loan she took out to buy the antique store, she can payback. She also figures she can rehire some of the former staff as well. She could use two more part-time employees. Dorothy has been doing so well, she would love to keep her on. She’ll have to ask Dorothy if she is willing to stay on.
Cassidy wonders if the dress shop will be able to make her aunts dress fit her and add a few extra things to it. She would have liked to wear her mother’s, but her mother sold her wedding dress. She lifts her hand and looks at the engagement ring, Arthur had slipped on her finger when she was unconscious.
It had belonged to his mother and had been passed to him when she died. He had the matching wedding ring that went with the engagement ring. She couldn’t believe how beautiful the ring was.
The rest of the day goes by kind of slow. Only a few people came in to browse what she had on display. Cassidy does question them to see what they were looking for. She’ll have to put the word out to some pickers to find what she needs.
Arthur shows up after his shift is over at the sheriff's office. He waits before going into Cassidy’s office. He notices she was on the phone.
After she is done with the phone call, he walks into her office “are you almost ready to go home?”
“Almost. Just waiting on Dorothy to bring the sales receipts in.”
Just as she says that Dorothy comes walking into the office “here are the sales receipt for today.”
“Thanks, Dorothy. Will I see you tomorrow?” Cassidy didn’t know if Dorothy was taking tomorrow off.
“I’ll be here. See, you later.” Dorothy picks up her daughter and heads out to her car.
Arthur walks with her and makes sure she gets to the car safely. He helps Dorothy and once she was safely in her car. He heads back inside to get Cassidy.
He spots her locking up and she had the days deposit in her hand “are you ready?”
“Yep, we need to go by the bank on the way home.” Cassidy turns the lights off and arms the security system.
Arthur helps Cassidy to his jeep and into the passenger seat. When he gets in, he leans over and kisses her on the cheek. Afterward, he starts the jeep up and heads towards the bank to deposit the money into the night drop.
Cassidy looks down at the little girl snuggled next to her. Arthur had brought her, her older sister and her older brother home a few weeks ago. Their parents had been drug users and died from an overdose, while the kids were at school.
A friend of Arthur had asked if he and Cassidy could take the kids in until arrangements could be made for them. That was two weeks ago after she and Arthur had their wedding on the farm.
The wedding was small, and she wore her aunt’s wedding dress after she had some modifications done to it.
It was just her and Arthur a few members of their family and a few friends. A total of twenty people had shown up for the wedding. They had moonshine, roasted beef, and fully roasted pork as well. The pig had been cooked on a spit, like the side of the cow had been. All the sides and such had been brought by their guest and neighbors.
They didn’t go anywhere for their honeymoon but spent all day and night in her bedroom. Arthur showed her some things she never knew about and broke her new vagina in properly.
She thought the sex they had before she had the surgery was wonderful. Now that she has her vagina, the sex has become even better and she feels like a natural woman. They had sex in the house when her roommates weren’t home and a few places in the antique store as well.
It was a few days after her wedding, that Arthur came home with the kids. They had nowhere to go and Arthur’s friend at Child Protective Services asked if he and Cassidy would take them in until arrangements could be made.
It’s been two weeks and the kids were growing on Cassidy and Arthur. Arthur had come to the antique store around lunchtime and talked about adopting them. They were wonderful kids and after the stories, the two of them heard how they had been treated by their parents. Neither Arthur nor she wanted to let them go.
A smile appears on Cassidy’s face when she feels Arthur’s hardon pressed against her butt. She stopped wearing panties under her nightgown. Sometimes during the night, she would feel Arthur pressed against her butt. They had cut down on doing anal sex and just did normal sex. She reaches behind her and guides him into her vagina. She loved feeling his penis inside her body. She feels his hand cover her mouth, as he tries to keep her from waking Carol.
After a while, she has an orgasm and he erupts inside her. She had kept still, while he did all the work. She didn’t want to wake Carol.
It had taken Carol a while to fall asleep, after the nightmare she had. Cassidy couldn’t believe she was the foster mother of three children. Carol was six years old; her sister Tammy was eight years old and their brother Tony is eleven years old.
She loved watching Arthur and Tony play baseball and basketball. The kids enjoyed going horseback riding with her roommates. She enjoyed telling bedtime stories to the girls and showing them how to cook.
She gets up early the next morning and gets the kids ready for school. Arthur normally drops them off, since all three go to the same school. She heads to work. Along the way Cassidy stops and buys some breakfast for herself.
She wishes that science would find a way for women like her to have children of their own. She would love to carry Arthur and her child. Throughout the day she works in the antique shop and the afternoon, she picks the kids up.
She has them do their homework at the store. She knows Tony needs a computer for some of his homework. She lets him use her portable laptop for that. When Arthur gets off from work. He comes by the store to see her and the kids.
Arthur pulls Cassidy aside “I was contacted by Jordan and was informed that he could take the children off our hands. However, they would be split up.”
Cassidy looks at Arthur “that’s not acceptable. I won’t have them split up. They are a family and should remain together.”
A smile appears on Arthur’s face “I thought you might feel that way. So, I told Jordan that we would raise them and if they don’t mind being adopted by us, we’ll adopt them as well.”
Cassidy puts her arms around Arthur “you don’t mind being a father at your old age?”
“I don’t mind if you don’t mind being a mother at a young age.” He leans in and kisses her.
Cassidy just melts against him “I don’t mind.”
Four Months Later:
The kids, Cassidy and Arthur appear before a judge and are granted guardianship of the kids. Her roommates, her friends, and the sheriff department throw them a party afterward. Cassidy just looks at her family and makes a vow that she will be the best mother she can be and the best wife she can be as well.
