Jackie wakes slowly, light drops of rain fall from the sky and hit her naked, battered and bruised body. She couldn’t remember how she got here; the last thing she remembered was her father hitting her repeatedly. She couldn’t remember why he had been hitting her, but it didn’t matter, he never needed a reason to use her as a punching bag. However, today was different, she couldn’t figure out what she had done to cause him to start beating her like he did. Her head was hurting her from where her father’s belt buckle had smacked against the side of her head, she reaches up with her petite hand and could still feel blood seeping from the wound.

Jackie stands up very slowly on weak, wobbly legs and starts walking around the clearing. The last thing she remembered before she blacked out was her father’s foot connecting with her head. As she looks around, she spots some footprints in the wet ground near where she woke up. She kneels carefully, still feeling unease and takes a closer look at them, they looked like something left by a huge cat. Her nose starts twitching and she hears voices coming towards her. She looks into the woods from where the sound was coming. Her nose was picking up faint scents of cologne, sweat and gun oil.

She looks around for a tree to climb and climbs carefully up its branches. Something inside her was telling her to hide and not trust those voices. She had always been a tomboy, so climbing trees was second nature to her. She scurries up the tree as high as she could and hides among the dense cluster of leaves and limbs. She peeks out from behind the main trunk of the tree to see whom the voices belong.

She sees two men with rifles emerge from the forest. They stopped right at the spot where she had been lying on the ground.

“Where did it go?” One of the hunters kneels where the grass was flat. He examines the outline and sees blood from which the light from the full moon is reflected.

Jackie watches from her high, hidden vantage point as one of the men looks at the spot where she woke up, the other man is walking around to see if he could find any more footprints. “Here are some more tracks, but these are human tracks.” He said, he follows them into the woods but loses them.

She watches and listens as one of the hunters kneels at some more tracks she left, the second hunter; the one who had been following the other tracks, walked over to his friend.

“I can’t find any more tracks other than the ones we followed in here. I did find some blood spots, but that was it. I have no idea where a cat as big as we saw could have gone, the ground around here is soft enough for it to leave tracks.” He rubs the back of his neck.

“The question is, from where did these human tracks come? They look to be about the size of a child, you don’t think these tracks were made by some Were or other sort of supernatural creature, do you?” he said, looking as his friend.

“I don’t know if it was a Were or another type of supernatural creature, but whatever it is, I want to mount it on my wall. Did you see how big that sucker was when it came running across the road? It was huge and had two huge teeth that looked like a Saber-toothed tiger from the dinosaur’s period. I want to capture it and either stuff it or mount it as a trophy. Forget about keeping it alive and displaying it. That would cause too many problems.” He said, as he kept looking around for the human who had made the tracks he found.

Jackie shivers from the thoughts of what that guy was saying, was she the creature he was talking about? Was she like something out of a comic book or maybe a weird Were creature? How could she find out if she was this creature? She didn’t know any one that was a supernatural creature. Was that the reason her father beat her so badly? Did he know what she was? How could she go about finding out what she was? All these thoughts floated around inside her head as she kept watching the hunters.

The hunters kept working the area to which they had followed the tracks; they were covering the whole area and backtracking for any sign of their prey. Jackie remained quiet in her hiding place, watching the men. There was no way she could climb down without alerting them to her presence, when they finally leave; Jackie slowly climbs down from her hiding place. The drizzle had stopped, she is naked, wet and hurting all over; her tummy rumbles reminding her that she had hadn’t eaten anything for days. Her father never fed her and if he did, it was scraps, he just bought booze and that was it. Since the pain she was feeling hadn’t subsided at all, she guesses she must be some sort of mutant like out of comic books. Most Were creatures she read about healed their injuries either in their animal form or in their human form.

Jackie stands next to the tree in which she had been hiding and listens to the various sounds floating around in the night air. Her ears start twitching as she hears running water not too far away; she thinks she could attempt to catch some fish or something from the river. In the dark, she follows its sound back to its source. The pitch-blackness of the night didn’t bother her, she could see as clearly as if it were daylight. It felt weird to her being able to do this, but at the same time, natural. After about an hour of walking, she comes to the bank of the river, and follows it until she comes to a flat area where she could walk into the middle of it.

The cool rushing water felt cold against her warm skin, it sent goose pimples up and down her body. She carefully wades out into the middle of the river, which came up past her stomach, she felt the pull of the current, but it wasn’t too strong and wouldn’t knock her off her feet, she looks down into the water with her night vision, looking for fish. She spots one and reaches down to try to grab it, it moves and so she misses it. She tries three or four more times, before discovering she was getting faster at grabbing for them.

She catches one and throws it to the bank. She tries for some more, catches three and throws them to the bank. She then heads back to the bank. She’s been camping before with her friend’s father and helped him clean fish, she looks around for something sharp to use to scrape off the fish scales. She feels her fingers tingle and then her fingernails start growing, she looks down at her fingers and sees how long her nails had become. They were at least three inches long; she uses her fingernails to scrape the fish, cut them open and gut them. She sits there and looks at them, they are ready to put on a fire.

She looks around for some rocks, sticks and tree branches, it was easy for her as she moved about in the darkness. After about an hour, she had a nice fire going, during her search for wood and such, she had found a Swiss army knife someone had lost, she also found two rocks she could strike together to make a spark, she cooks the fish and eats all three of them, they tasted so good to her. She lies on her back on the soft moss and looks up at the full moon in the night sky, it was so clear and bright with stars, it was like looking at a river of stars. She slowly falls asleep from exhaustion. The temperature was nice and her belly was full. She felt extremely tired from everything that happened today.

Jackie watches from her hiding place as the people leave their cabin. She needed clothes and they had two girls with them about her size whose clothes should fit her. She was going to wait for them to leave, then sneak into their cabin and grab some of their clothes without them noticing her. There were two boys as well, plus the mom and dad. She just wanted some clothes to wear, she couldn’t go around in the nude all the time.

She waits as they walk down the path taking them to the swimming area. There was no one around as she dashed across from her hiding place to the cabin, she knew that the front door might be locked, so she tries one of the windows and finds a way inside. She goes through the clothes the girls brought with them first, she carefully picks out some that would fit her, they were a little big on her, but she could live with it. She goes through the boy’s closet and finds a pair of jeans that should fit her and grabs a couple pairs of socks. The mother’s things were bigger on her, but she takes a pair of her underwear and personal hygiene items, she knew her period was due soon and she would need these items. She grabs forty dollars from the man’s wallet, he had a lot of cash and she hope he wouldn’t miss them. She sneaks back out of the cabin unseen and headed back into the woods.

Jackie now knew where she was, after snooping around this morning, she had come here a couple of summers ago with some friends, and had fallen in love with the place. She stayed in the woods with the clothes she took, and needed a backpack or something, she knew where they stored the lost and found items, and headed towards the main admin building of the campground and sneaked in, when no one is watching the front. She headed directly to the lost and found room and with a little bit of her new strength she discovered this morning that she possesses and lets herself into the locked room.

Jackie listens as the three rangers on duty talk and joke about things. One of them tells them about the story he had overheard from some hunters he knew talking about a huge cat they had been out hunting yesterday. Jackie smiles as she hears the response from the other rangers. She smirks to herself; because she knew it was her, but how was the question? Her searching had revealed some nice items. She loads the backpack up with the items she had found and when she knew the coast was clear, she sneaked out. She headed towards the woods as fast as she could and then towards the path that would take her to the fire tower she could use.

The rangers no longer used it and she could use it as a hideout for herself, it had been abandoned and it was in a nice location. She walked towards it and wonders how she could do what everyone said she could do. What triggered her change and what was the animal into which she could change? When she gets to the tower, she sees a high chain link fence had been erected around it to prevent people from climbing up the metal steps.

Jackie steps back and takes a running start and when she is close to the chain fence, she jumps up and over it, landing safely on the other side. She climbs the steps all the way up to the top. She pushes hard against the trap door and pops the lock off, it squeaks open as she pushes on it. She enters the small cabin and closes the trap door under her. It was dusty and dirty in there, she would need to get a broom and some cleaning supplies to make it livable. She walks around the little tower room and cleans what she could with what she had at hand, and airs the place, by opening a few of the windows, and spends the afternoon cleaning the place. She goes back down the tower, jumps back over the fence and headed towards a camping store she had passed coming this way. She buys everything she needs with the forty dollars she took, returns to the tower and climbs back up with her items. She gets the place cleaned up and setup for the night. She felt that it was going to be a stormy night, tonight.

As the sun goes down, Jackie walks outside the cabin and sits down on the deck that runs around the cabin, just watches as the sun dips down. The view was unbelievable and the mountaintops in the distance were breathtaking. She sniffs the air and could smell the rain as it approached the cabin, she goes inside and closes the windows, just as she closes the last one, it starts pouring. She goes over to the old wood-burning heater in the cabin that she had cleaned earlier today and built a fire in it. She sets the small pot she bought with the money she had stolen, boils some water and adds it to the instant noodles she bought and has that for dinner. She watches and listens as the rain hits against the roof of the old lookout tower.

Jackie snuggles down under the heavy blanket she had taken from the lost and found a ground mat as well, on which to sleep. The cabin was a little stuffy and warm from the fire she had built in the stove to boil water on. It didn’t matter to Jackie though. It was a nice home and in the morning, she’ll open the windows to let in some air. She closes her eyes and falls asleep feeling safe for the first time in her life.

Jackie couldn’t believe that a week has gone by so fast. She climbs the steps to her tower with firewood loaded in her arms. She finally learned that she could assume any type of cat form and that when she is threatened or frightened, she assumes her most powerful form, which was a saber-tooth tiger. A black bear had stumbled out of the woods towards her tower when she was out collecting wood for the tower’s stove to burn, when she discovered her most powerful form by accident. She had managed to kill the bear in that form, it took a lot out of her petite body, but it was her most powerful form. She also learned what mushrooms and other edible items grew around her from a book she got from the library in town. She used her newfound abilities to turn into a cat and carried her backpack in her mouth through the woods to the road that led into town and changed back into her human form and dressed in her stolen clothes and walked into town.

She found some people to buy some of the bear meat she had. She also learned from her book how to tan the skin. A few times she felt that someone was following her, she lost them in the woods and changed into one of her cat forms. So far no one had spotted her up here at the tower and the path that led up here, she caused a few huge trees that were dying to crash down and block the dirt road, she was going to make it difficult to find this place. The cabin started feeling more and more like home to her as she dropped the firewood next to the wood-burning stove. She stacks the wood nearby, but far enough away so it wouldn’t catch fire. When Jackie finished she scoops some of the stew she made yesterday into a bowl and goes outside on the landing that goes around the cabin and watches as the sun dips down and disappears as she eats her dinner.

Jackie rests her chin on the middle handrail as she stares out over the landscape. She needed to figure out what she was going to do. The convenience store in town was looking for a part time cashier and she was on good terms with the store manager. It wasn’t much money, but she didn’t need much money. The old fire tower in which she was living provided shelter for her and there was enough food in the woods around here for her to catch in one of her animal forms. She could purchase a portable power supply, either solar or a gas generator.

Jackie yawns as she awakes to the sound of birds chirping outside the window. She looks at her battery-powered clock and sees is was only five thirty in the morning. There is a cold nip in the air as she sits up and looks outside the windows to see what the weather was going to be like today, she knows already that it was going to be hot and humid. She takes a sponge bath and puts on a pair of shorts and a light tank top she had found that fitted her. So far, no one had figured out that she was the cause of the recent thefts that had occurred last week. She fixes herself some breakfast and then heads down the steps leading up to the trap door, she had put a new lock on it and hid a spare key nearby, so she could let herself in.

She stays in human form as she walks along another path she created, to the road that leads to the tower, so no one would know someone was here. She walks down the road towards the convenience store and filled out the paperwork for job there, she gets around having to show any identity. She told the manager she was waiting on her birth certificate and social security card. She still had a few dollars and bought herself some candy, while she is standing in line to pay for her it, her nose picks up a familiar scent. She looks around and spots the hunters that had come looking for her a week ago. They were buying beer and a few store made sandwiches.

“How are you guys doing?” She walks past them with a smile on her face.

They look at her as she walks past them. Jackie just smiles as she walks out of the store and around town, it has been a while since she
has been in town. It wasn’t very big, but it had enough things to make it interesting. Jackie walks along and does some window-shopping looking at items she might want to buy for the fire tower. She makes a mental list of items that she needed and what she would like. She spends most of the day window-shopping and then makes her way back on foot to the tower. The walk back was peaceful and it wasn’t as humid as she thought it would be.

Jackie slips out of her clothes and changes into one of her cat forms and starts tracking a deer, she could smell its scent nearby. She starts hunting it, her blood was on fire and her mouth was watering as excitement built up in her. It was like the cat part of her was in control and wanted to track down its prey; the thrill of the hunt was intoxicating.

The cat form she into which had changed was that of a cougar. It felt right to her and it was her go-to form, when she couldn’t decide into which form she wanted to change. She manages to capture her prey and brings it down; the warm sweet coppery taste of the deer blood sliding down her throat satisfied the animal half of her. She eats a few good sized chunks in her animal form and then drags it to the tower; she’ll have to clear the tracks later. She skins the deer and reads the directions she had copied, to tan and preserve it. She smokes the meat like she had read and puts some away in an ice filled container. She had found a couple of coolers that still were in good shape and bought some ice to keep them cool.

She’ll take the rest of the deer into town tomorrow and sell it. After she finishes with the deer, she heads towards the nearby river and cleans up; she also enjoys a good swim. It was deserted and she didn’t have to worry about people finding her out. When she gets tired, she gets out and lies down on the soft moss like she did her first night here and relaxes. She didn’t miss having other people around her, and loved where she was and her tower home.

The following week was busy for her, the person who was supposed to relieve her never showed up, so she had to pull a double shift several times during the week. Some of the customers complained that she was slow, but she didn’t let it bother her. The hunters she met the first night came in every day and they kept talking about finding tracks and blood where she had killed the bear and the deer. She had to visit the camp a few more times to steal more clothes to wear. She even visited a few summer homes and such to take what she needed, so that the authorities wouldn’t get suspicious. She managed to sell the spare deer meat to the same guys that bought her bear meat. She even found a bicycle that someone was selling at a yard sale that just needed some grease and oil; the mechanic in town did it for her for a few dollars. She now rode that back and forth to her tower home. She made sure to take several different routes to her tower, so she didn’t leave tracks.

Summer goes by quickly and the camp closed for the winter, which is from where most of the business the store got came. The manager liked her and decided to keep her on during the winter months. She had another part time job in town at the hardware store, so now she could get what she needed for her tower home at a discount. Jackie learned that the hunters would be coming in soon to keep the deer and elk population down. She just smiles, because she has been doing that herself.

She found out that the tower was for sale and bought it with the money she made, so now it belonged to her, she also owned at least ten acres around the tower as well, plus the road that came up to the tower. The money she made paid for the tower and land. She got lucky a few times and found some gems she could sell for the rest of the money she needed. She had bought a generator for her tower, so she now had power. She had installed a make shift shower, so she could take a shower in the morning before heading to work. She had to take her clothes into town to the Laundromat to wash them or use the antique washing machine one of her customers gave her for some work she did for them. During the spring and summer months it was going to be a big help, because she could use it to wash her clothes and hang them on clothes lines on the side of the tower.

Jackie had managed to get a copy of her birth certificate and her social security card without too many problems. She doesn’t know what happened to her father, all that the authorities knew, was there had been a fight in the house and a lot of blood, they couldn’t find his body anywhere.

She stands on her catwalk and shivers as a cold breeze blows by her, she was still in her nightshirt and had a cup of coffee in her hand; she wasn’t due at work for another two hours.

“Nice perch you have there.”

Jackie looks down at the person who had spoken to her, she didn’t even hear or smell him approach, she had seen him a few times in the
hardware store.

“Thank you. What brings you up here on this breezy morning?” Jackie looks down at him.

“I was just out bird watching and saw you standing up there drinking your coffee. Do you mind if I come up?”

Joe wanted to know more about this girl. He had smelled the scent of a were-cat in the area and followed the scent to the tower.

“How about I bring some coffee down for us?” Jackie liked her privacy.

“That’s fine. I’ll be down here at your gate.”

Jackie heads inside her tower and changes into a pair of jeans, a turtle neck shirt and her shoes, she also runs a brush through her hair. She fills the thermos she bought a week ago with the rest of the coffee and grabs a handful of sugar and creamer packets and takes them down with a spare cup.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting, but I needed to change my clothes before coming down.” Jackie unlocks the gate and heads over towards a picnic table she had bought.

“It’s okay.”

Joe follows the young girl. He could smell she was some sort of were-cat, but couldn’t place it, her scent matched what he and a few of his other pack mates had picked up in the woods around here.

“I didn’t know any one lived out here.” Joe sits down at the wooden picnic table that was hidden from view.

“I don’t advertise it. If people knew that a single young girl was living out here by herself, who knows what would happen.”

Jackie’s nose picks up on a strong male musk coming from this guy; she could tell he wasn’t like any of the men she had encountered. Even when she had encountered him in the hardware store, the other men around him had hidden his scent.

“Coffee” Jackie holds out a spare cup to him.

“Sure.” Joe accepts the cup and watches as she pours the coffee from the thermos he had seen her carry down, he could smell that it was the fresh ground type you did yourself. She must have gotten it at Brenda’s shop.

“Would you like some cream or sugar?” Jackie had stopped pouring about a half an inch from the top of the cup.

“No thanks. I prefer my coffee straight black.” Joe takes a sip of it.

“Not me, I have to have cream and sugar in mine.” She picks up her own cup and drinks from it, she looks at the guy sitting near her and didn’t see any binoculars at all.

Joe saw that the girl looking at him; he had seen her before in the hardware store working for Henry and at the convenience store.

“So, you say you were out bird watching this morning. What birds did you see?” Jackie takes a sip of her coffee.
Joe thinks about her question “There was a falcon flying out this morning.”

“A falcon you say? In what area did you see the it, because I’ve been up since the sun came up and I didn’t see any this morning?” Jackie knew what birds were around her and watched the birds every morning.

Joe smiles as he takes a sip of the fresh brew coffee as he looks directly at Jackie.

“You’re very observant. I’ll be honest with you. I came up here today, because I came across some footprints that led me to this tower. I was curious about them and why anyone would be up here, considering there had been a rash of thefts in town earlier this summer.” Joe was looking directly towards Jackie when he said this to her.

“Well, there must have been a good reason for it, if I recall, not much had been taken that couldn’t have been spared.” Jackie could smell the wolf scent coming from this guy.

“True, but it’s still wrong to steal, but that’s not why I am here. It has come to my and several others attention that there is an unusual cat in the area and we are concerned about it.” Joe kept his eyes on Jackie.

Jackie remained calm and tries to think of everything she has read about were-creatures. They were a fascination of hers, since the vampires had come out to the public a few years ago. She knew that were-wolves could smell your scent and if you lied. Maybe he could tell her if she was some sort of were?

“Do I smell like a were-cat?” Jackie sips her coffee and wonders.

Joe tilts his head to one side and inhales her scent.

“Yes and no. You have the scent of a cat about you, but you don’t smell like a were-cat at all. Why do you ask?” Joe couldn’t figure it out, everything was pointing towards the fact that her scent was that of a cat, but she wasn’t registering or even setting off his wolf as a were-creature sense.

“So, that means I am some sort of mutant then.” Jackie had a feeling she was, but now this guy just confirmed it.

“What’s a mutant?” Joe had never heard of a mutant before.

“Haven’t you ever seen the movie X-men or the television show Mutant X before or even the television series Heroes?” Jackie was surprised that this guy had never even heard of the word mutant before.

“Kid, I’m not into comic books or superheroes. All I know is that you aren’t any type of supernatural creature I have ever come across. You smell like a cat; your mannerisms are that of a cat and even your eyes are cat like. Look, all I am asking is that you come to a pack meeting so the rest of my pack can meet you. The reason I am asking you this is, one, like you said, you’re a single teenage girl living by yourself, two, if the other pack members met you, they will know that you’re under our protection. There are other types of supernatural creatures out here that you haven’t met yet and you will be in danger from them. The third reason is, so we can figure out what you are, I have connections with other were-wolf packs that might know more about your abilities.”

Jackie sits there and thinks about this guy’s offer, she would like to know more about herself and what are her abilities, so far, she has only scratched the surface of what she could do.

“When does your pack next meet?” Jackie figures it might be worth checking out the pack and learn more about what she was.

“Whenever or wherever, I say. Normally, we meet during the full moon to gather and hunt as a pack, but during the week we get together and do other things.” Joe didn’t mind answering Jackie’s question.

“Are there any here with you right now?” Jackie was smelt the air to see if she could pick-up a scent.

“No. I wanted to approach you by myself and speak with you first.” Joe wanted to be friends first with her.

“Okay, I’ll meet with your pack.” Jackie figures the worst they could do would be to kill her.

Jackie was going to ride her mountain bike over to Joe’s house. If she had to, she could turn into her Saber cat if she needed to escape. She figures her Saber Cat form would be powerful enough to overcome any Were-wolf. Jackie follows the directions she copied from the map book at the store. The road she was traveling on lead to the expensive built log cabins that were higher up on the mountain. The fire tower she had brought was on a high point, but further up the road were expensive log cabins that sat down near the lake shore. She had stolen from a few places up there, but didn’t really smell around for anything unusual.

She finds the address Joe had given her on the other side of the lake. The property was at least a hundred acres or more. The lake was called Moon Lake and the private road that lead up to the Main house, was wide enough for an Rv or a semi-truck to drive up. She pedals her bicycle all the way up to the huge house. The house itself was constructed of stones and preserved logs and blend in with the environment.

She could tell it was old and must have been built sometime in the 30’s or 40’s. The place was beautiful and rustic looking. She notices a bunch of cars parked near the house. There were a few pick-ups, SUV’s, jeeps and motorcycles. Some of them she recognizes or have seen around in town. The rest were normal cars and vans. She figures there must be a large crowd here.

Jackie parks her bicycle under the terrace and knocks on the massive oak door to the house. As she stands there and listens to the birds and squirrels, her nose starts to twitch from the scents of the Were-wolves present inside or have walked by where she was standing.

Joe opens the front door “come on in, Jackie.”

He steps aside to let her in.

Jackie walks inside and she could immediately smell that there were a lot of wolves in here. The cat presence inside of her immediately came
to the surface, but didn’t force her to change. It was curious as why they were around so many wolves. The cat spirit inside her was on alert and ready to spring force if it had too.

Joe shuts the door behind Jackie and could tell right away her scent had changed. He could smell that her cat was simmering below the surface. It wasn’t just any cat scent he smelled, it was extremely old and powerful. His wolf could feel the power the cat was holding back inside its human host.

“I hope you’re not tired. The rest of the pack would like to meet you.” Joe stands next to Jackie.

“No, I’m not tired, just thirsty.” Jackie could feel her cat below her skin.

“You might want to control the cat inside of you, Jackie.” Joe lays his hand gently on Jackie’s shoulder.

“Don’t worry Joe, she’s just interested in what is going on. I promise I’m not going to change or anything.” Jackie’s eyes had already bled to
their normal cat appearance.

“Okay.” Joe takes his hand away from Jackie’s shoulder.

“Let’s head to the kitchen and get you something to drink. Is there anything you would like to drink?” Joe had the rest of the pack in the main
living room.

“Juice would be nice, if you have any.” Jackie loved juice to drink or even sweet tea.

She follows Joe as they walk into a huge kitchen.

She could tell the other wolves were watching her. She notices that there weren’t many female wolves among Joe’s pack. At most she spotted four and they were surrounded by a group of male wolves that were keeping a discreet distance away from them to give the women some room to socialize.

“Joe, are female wolves rare among your kind?” Jackie stops next to the counter with Joe and watches as he pours her a glass of Mango juice.

“Yes, not many women can survive the change the virus put us through. Women have a harder time with the virus, because of their nature. It takes a really strong-willed woman to survive what the virus does to them.”

Joe hands the glass to her.

“Thanks.”

Jackie accepts the class of juice and takes a taste of it. As soon as the juice hits her tongue and starts going down her throat, a slight purring sound rumbles from deep inside of her.

Joe just looks down at Jackie as he hears her purring and watches as she devours the juice in one swing. A playful smile appears on his face.
Jackie sets the glass down on the counter and couldn’t believe how thirsty she had been and how wonderful it tasted. It made her taste buds come alive.

Joe looks at Jackie “it seems you enjoyed the drink.”

“Yep, it was extremely good.” Jackie licks her lips and looks towards around the kitchen.

She turns back around and look out at all the other wolves that were still watching her. She notices some were curious and others were trying to figure her out. It was like they couldn’t make out what she was. They could smell the scent of cat coming from her and watched as she moved. There was a grace to the way she moved. Like she had years of training like that of a classic ballerina or model.

“Here let me introduce you to my second.”

Joe escorts Jackie over towards a huge Samoan guy with culture tattoos running up and down his right arm. She spotted a tattoo design on his chest with his shirt somewhat opened.

“Jackie, this is my second Asoese Saifaasolo. We serviced together in the same unit while in the Army.”

Asoese had notice Jackie when she walked in and could feel the presence beneath her skin. He had met Were-cats before and she wasn’t a Were-cat. She was something else entirely. He extends his hand to her.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you.” He gives her hand a gentle shake.

“Thank you, it’s nice to meet you as well. I’ve never met a Samoan before.”

“Well, I hope you’ll be around so you can learn more about me and I can of you.”

“We’ll see. I’m still learning about myself.”

A smile appears on Jackie’s face. She could come to like Asoese. He was different than most people she interacted with daily.

Joe notice that Jackie was interested in Asoese, not in a sexual way, but as someone she wanted to make friends with. So, far no one
seemed to have a problem with Jackie. That could change over the course of time if he made her a member of their pack.

“Attention everyone. I want you to know that Jackie here is under our pack’s protection. She really doesn’t know what she is and to be honest, neither do I. However, if you see any one messing with her or giving her a hard time. You’re to step in and put an end to it. She is an honorary pack member.”

“Does that mean we have to fight for her if she starts something with another Were or Supernatural?”

“It means, Candy that if she is in trouble and she didn’t start it. You’re to come to her aide. You will treat her like any other pack member. Also, if any of you think you’re capable of challenging her, I wouldn’t recommend it.”

“What do you mean by that Joe?”

“It means Asoese. That she has a very powerful form that a person would regret meeting.”

“Yay, right. I bet I could beat it.” Candy was looking right at Jackie when she spoke.

Jackie just smiles “is that a challenge?”

“Ya, it’s a challenge.”

“Very well, where are challenges held at, Joe?”

“Right this way.”

Joe escorts everyone outside to the challenge arena.

“You might want to take your clothes off before you change, Jackie.”

Asoese wanted to make sure Jackie understood.

Jackie looks around and slowly undress. She has never undress before a group of strange people before. She watches as Candy takes her
skimpy clothes off and change into her wolf form. She had a pretty vanilla color coat in her wolf form. Jackie finishes taking her clothes off and step a distance from Joe and Asoese. She felt for her most powerful form and felt her body responding to her request.

There was a loud popping sound as her body twisted and reshaped itself. It grew as its skin was being covered in tawny color fur. It sprouted from her skin as her teeth started to extend up and down from her enlarged mouth. Once she was done changing into her Saber form, she gives a loud roar and looks over towards Candy. She was twice the size of Candy’s wolf form and had more muscles than Candy or any wolf, except Joe and Asoese had.

She starts to groom herself, while the other pack members walk around her body.

“Dam, she’s huge.” Asoese and Joe couldn’t believe how big she looks.

“This is her most powerful form?” Asoese was looking at Jackie and knew his wolf found this creature powerful.

“Yep, that’s her most powerful form. Who knew that something so big could be in such a small package.” Joe scratches Jackie underneath her chin.

A loud purring sound could be heard coming from her.

“Is this the only form she can assume?”

“Nope, she can assume any type of cat, can’t you Jackie?”

Jackie boobs her head up and down in a yes fashion.

“You mean she can become any type of cat?” Fred couldn’t believe it.

“Yep, Jackie do you have enough energy to change into a small cat?”

Jackie nods her head yes and begins to reshape her body again till she changes into her go to form. Which was her cougar form. Her fur in that form was a standard coat color. She gets up and walks over to Joe and rub her body against his legs and then does the same thing to Asoese. She walks around letting the different pack members touch her. When she is in front of Candy, she smiles exposing her very sharp teeth.

“I think she is telling you, Candy. That if you persist to try and attack her, you’ll be meeting her bigger form and it won’t be so nice to you.” Fred had a silly smile on his face.

Jackie changes back to her human form and was exhausted from going from big to small in a short time.

“It takes a lot out of you, doesn’t it?”

“Only when I go from my most powerful form to my standby form. If I start off in that form and change into another form like it in size and weight
it doesn’t bother me. It’s going from big mommy to my smaller form that it drains me.” Jackie carefully walks over to a chair.

Asoese puts a fruit plate in front of Jackie.

“Eat some fruit. You’ll feel better.”

Asoese hands a plate of fruit to Jackie.

“Thanks, so does this mean that I’m to report to you guys now?”

As she picks up a pineapple ring and eat it.

“No, it means we’ll be coming by your fire tower to check on you. Also, if you need something done at your tower, you can call on us to help
you. Fred’s a handy man, Asoese is a real estate agent and I own a construction business. Everyone else in the pack does various jobs for a living. A pack looks out for each member. So, what I told the pack to do for you, I expect the same from you as well.”

Jackie just smiles as she continues to eat the fruit. She was still in the nude and the three men could see scars she received from the beatings her father use to give her.

“Jackie, how old are some of your scars and where did you get them?”

“This one.”

Jackie points to the one on her left shoulder.

“I got when I was little. I don’t recall where I got it or how it happened, but the rest of my scars are from my father when he used to beat me. I don’t know what happened to his body after my first changed. All I do remember from that night was him coming home drunk as a skunk and beating me. I don’t know why he was beating me or what I did to deserve it. My second memory I remember is waking up in a clearing not too far from my tower in the rain. Everything in between I can’t recall or why I heal like a normal person, instead of like you guys do.”

“What do you mean by heal like a normal person?”

“I mean, I don’t have you guys healing ability. Not even in my most powerful form. I’m harder to hurt in my Saber form, but I don’t heal like you guys do.”

“That doesn’t make any sense. How can you change into almost any cat there is or was and have feline features and grace in your human form, but not be able to heal like us?”

“I don’t know. I don’t even know who my mother is. All I know is she died when I was very young because of my father’s actions. As for the rest, I’m just as puzzled as you guys are.”

Jackie finishes the fruit off and felt better. She gets up and gets redress. She brushes her hair and notice it has gotten longer since she changed.

“Dam! I hate it when this happens.”

“When what happens?” All three guys look at her.

“My hair gets longer each time I change forms. It grows additional six inches each time.”

“I know some guys that would love to have that curse.” Fred was smirking.

Joe and Asoese just smile at his statement.

“Well they can have it if they want it.”

Jackie slips her feet back into her shoes.

“Come on outside, Jackie. The other pack members probably have questions for you.”

Jackie follows the three men outside to the huge deck and accepts a plate someone handed her. It had a huge burger on it. She sits next to
Asoese and start getting to know him.

Jackie looks up at the night sky and couldn’t believe how many stars there were. She had fun at the gathering and meeting the other wolves in the pack. Asoese had brought her home, so she didn’t have to ride her bicycle in the dark. Not that night time bother her. She could see in the dark without any light. Her eyesight was just like a cat’s eyesight. She had enjoyed meeting everyone at the gathering. It was nice to know there were others like her, but she wasn’t one hundred percent like them. She was completely different.

Jackie gets up and heads upstairs to her room for the night. She makes sure the windows are opened to allow the cool mountain air to come in and cool her tower down. As she starts getting ready for bed, she spots a star get brighter for a second and then go back to normal. She wonders what caused that. Jackie curls up on her bed and falls into a deep sleep.

She feels a light warm breeze as she slept. She feels someone stroking her hair and a purring sound. Jackie opens her eyes and there was bright light all around her. She turns her head to the figure stroking her hair and notice it was her mother.

“Mom!” Jackie sits up and wrap her arms around her mother.

She holds onto her as she feels her mother wrap her arms around her and hold her tight.

“I’m sorry I had to leave you sweetie. I made the mistake of marrying your father. I thought he would turn out to be a good man, but I was wrong.”

Jackie didn’t care, she had her mother back.

“I don’t care mom. I’m just happy your back.”

“Actually, I’m not back sweetie. You’re in my realm right now.”

Jackie stops crying and leans back to look at her and notices her mother’s eyes. They weren’t human looking eyes, but cat eyes.

“What do you mean I’m in your realm right now mom?”

“I mean my dear kitten, that you are with me right now in my realm. Look around and tell me what you see.”

Jackie releases her mother and starts to look around her surroundings. Her mother was wearing a gown of pure white linen and a wide gold
necklace around her neck. She had a coil gold bracelet on both wrist and long black hair. On top of her head was a gold tiara with a cat head in the middle of it. She notices her mother also had Egyptian features. The whole room looked like something out of pictures she had seen in Egyptian movies.

“Are we in Egypt mom?”

“Yes and no. We are in a realm that resembles Egypt of old. We aren’t in your realm any more. This realm is where all the Egyptian gods
resided.”

Jackie looks back towards her mother and couldn’t believe it.

“Are you an Egyptian goddess?”

“Yes, and you’re my daughter.”

She holds her hand out for Jackie to take.

Jackie takes her mother’s hand and the two of them leave her mother’s chamber. Jackie looks at herself and notice she was dress like her mother. She didn’t have a tiara on her head holding her hair back, but a gold hair band. Jackie is escorted out to a balcony so she could see everything better. The place looked like something out of ancient Egypt.

“Wow!”

“Yes wow. The reason I brought you here now. Is you wanted to know more about yourself and you will be needed soon. To help protect the pack you have become part of. The one thing I must ask you not to do, is to reveal who you truly are. You need to keep that quiet for now. The necklace I have placed around your neck can heal yourself. I would active the rest of your demi-god abilities you have, but your friends already know you can’t do that.”

“So, I’m a demi-goddess?”

Jackie looks toward her mother.

“Yes, you are a demi-goddess. I am the Egyptian Goddess Mafdet. That is why you can assume all sorts of different cat forms and why you have the grace and eyes of a cat in your human form.”

“Why didn’t you take me with you when you left daddy?”

“Because I couldn’t sweetie. Your father found out who I really was and got extremely mad at me for lying to him. He threatened to kill you
because he knew I cared a lot for you. He even learned how to protect the house so I couldn’t appear inside. That was why he took you out of school and kept you at home. That was the reason why you were abused so much. Some of my traits started showing up in you and it made him even madder.”

“Mom, what happened to dad’s body?”

“Your cat buried it. It was under my influence when you attacked your father and killed him. I put your consciousnesses asleep and put your cat in charge of your body”

“I’m glad I didn’t eat daddy.”

“No, you buried him like I instructed your cat to do.”

Jackie seemed relieved at what her father told her. She thought she ate her father in her cat form.

“So, why reveal who you are now to me mom? Not that I’m complaining.”

Jackie hugs her mother. She had missed her dearly.

“Because, sooner or later your pack Alpha would had come across someone who would know instantly who you are. The person I’m talking
about is the wife of an alpha and is a Grim Reaper.”

“There’s a pack who has an alpha mate who is a grim reaper?”

“Yes, she’s a really nice person. You’ll like her. Now, why don’t you tell me everything you have been up to recently.”

Jackie and her mother sit in chairs on the balcony and Jackie tells her mother everything she has been doing since she left and all the things her father did to her. There were times she saw her mother’s eyes flash in anger. They only did it when she mentioned things her father did to her. Jackie tells her mother about the pack and her fire tower home.

Mafdet just smiles when she hears about her fire tower home. That was one of the traits her daughter was feeling because of her cat nature.
The love of high places. Jackie continues and she starts to feel extremely tired.

“It’s time I sent you back to your bed sweetie.”

“But I don’t want to go mom. I want to stay here with you.”

“You’ll be okay and you will see me again.”

Mafdet kisses her forehead and sends her back to her bed still dress like she was. That way she won’t think it was just a dream. Jackie
reappears back in her bed still dressed like she was when she was with her mother. There was an old cat statue sitting on a shelf Jackie had put up to store her nick-knacks on.

Six hours later, Jackie wakes up and finds herself still dress like she was when she was visiting her mother. She had an old style Egyptian gown, necklace, arm bands and wristlets on her arms. Even her feet were covered by royal style sandals. She notices the old style gold Egyptian cat statue sitting on her shelf with her other nick-knacks.

“Okay, it wasn’t a dream after all.”

She takes the gown and the sandals off, but leave the hair band and the wristlets on. She gets dress in a pair of black tights and an oversized long t-shirt. She puts her tennis shoes on and head down from her tower and head towards town. She was meeting up with a few members from the pack to have breakfast with them.

Jackie was a little late showing up for breakfast. She saw Joe and the guys waiting for her as she came running up to the parking lot of Lums Diner.

“Sorry for being late everyone. My alarm clock didn’t go off this morning.” Jackie knew it was a lie, but she promised her mother she wouldn’t reveal her secret.

Gail their server and a member of the pack showed them to a private table that had been set-up for them. Joe ordered coffee and orange juice for everyone, since he was paying the bill. He gives Jackie a weird look. He had picked up a faint whiff of a mixture of lily, myrrh, cinnamon coming from Jackie. He also notices the wristlets, headband and the necklace around her neck.

“New jewelry?” As he points to the wristlet and necklace.

“Yea, I found them in a box of junk I bought last week. I thought I would wear them today.”

“Do you mind if I take look at them?” Joe was curious, because he could feel energy coming from the necklace.

“Sure, why not.”

Jackie takes the wristlets and the necklace off and hands them to Joe.

Joe and Asoese noticed that the necklace was of ancient Egyptian design. So were the wristlets that she had handed over. They also notice that both were made of pure gold. The necklace was what intrigued Joe and Asoese the most. As soon as Joe’s hand touched the necklace, he received a powerful shock from it.

Asoese had seen Joe tense up like he just got hit by a teaser when he touched the necklace.

Joe hands the necklace and wristlets back to Jackie shaking a little.

“They are interesting. I would like to talk to you later about them.” Joe could still feel his muscles trying to relax, after being shocked liked he had been.

“Okay.” Jackie puts the necklace and wristlets back on.

Gail comes back to take everyone’s breakfast order. Asoese ordered a huge plate of pancakes with pineapples and passion fruits covering them. A huge bowl of fruit and French toast. Joe ordered a three huge lumber jack plates that had grits, hash browns and four eggs on top of a bed of fried potatoes and onions. Fred ordered the same thing Joe did. Eric, the packs ancient Viking with blonde hair and huge muscles ordered a huge ham hock and a big bowl of fried potatoes and onions.

Jackie just order a huge breakfast Burrito with sausage, eggs, cheese and fried potatoes and onions on the inside.

“You might want to make that two of them Jackie.” Joe had seen how skinny Jackie was one day when she was outside sunning herself by the river.

Jackie looks at Gail “make that two please and a fruit bowl as well Gail, thanks.”

“Did you enjoy yourself yesterday, Jackie?”

“Yes sir. I had fun with the pack. Also, thank you for the ride home as well.” Jackie takes a sip of her water and didn’t like the taste of it. She preferred the water from her well at the tower.

Asoese had noticed her expression after drinking the water from the glass.

“Didn’t like it that much, did you?” He picks up his glass to show what he meant.

“No, I’ve become addictive to the water from my well or from the river. Everything else taste like it has chemicals in it.” Jackie does take a sip of her coffee, after adding cream and sugar to it. She hated black coffee.

“So, what’s on the agenda for today?”

“Well, after breakfast we were going to check out a few places that there’s been signs of a trespasser into our territory. We wanted you to come along and let your cat out to see what she finds.”

“Okay, I normally don’t let her out that much. Do you need the big one or my go to?”

“I’ll leave it to you. Whichever form you want to let out to play.” Now that Joe has seen her forms, he didn’t mind either one.

Gail brings over their breakfast and set them down in front of each person.

“Enjoy.” She walks off to help some other customers.

Jackie’s mouth was watering. It’s been awhile since she had gone out to a restaurant. Her mother before her disappearance had taken her out almost all the time. That stopped after she left. Her father didn’t believe in wasting money and basically turned her into his personal slave.
She takes a bite of her burrito and fell in love with it as the flavors exploded on her taste buds. She knew her eyesight, sense of smell and hearing had been enhanced and her sense of taste, but she could taste everything that made this burrito up. A low sexy moan escaped her mouth as she tastes another bite.

Asoese and the guys look over towards Jackie as she chewed her food with her eyes closed. She had a pleasant look on her youthful face.

“Still, I’ve never eaten so much food like that at once.” She takes a sip of her orange juice. If she ate any more food, she would burst.

“You need to increase how much food you are eating. Your metabolism has increase now that you discovered that you can change shape. The extra energy will help you when you change between forms. You won’t be feeling so weak when you go between your go to form to your Sabre form.”

“Alright, I’ll increase my food intake.” Jackie figures it wouldn’t hurt to follow Asoese advice.

After Joe pays the bill. Everyone loads up in their cars. Jackie rides with Joe and Asoese as they head out of town and towards another town that was in Joe’s territory.

Jackie was searching around for that scent she had picked up. It had smelled like a fox that they were tracking. Jackie had turned into a lynx so, not to scare whoever it was she was tracking. She follows the scent through the woods and under brush and bushes. After twenty minutes, she spots a nude body of a young girl curled up in a hollow space under a tree. She approaches with caution and as she got closer. She notices fresh red welts that crisscross the girls back, legs and it looked like someone had burned the bottom of her feet.

Jackie moves closer and could tell by the sound of the girls breathing and listening to her heart beat, that she was asleep. Jackie changes back into her human form and walk up to the young girl and kneel. She reaches forward to check the girls pulse. Jackie felt one, but it was slow and shallow. Jackie could smell that this girl had been molested. She could smell several men scents coming off her and from between her legs.

Jackie tries to wake the girl, but she didn’t get any response from her. Jackie slowly and carefully pulls the young girl out from the hollow. She notices that she was rather young. Maybe no older than nine or ten years old.

“Joe, Asoese over here.”

“We’ll take her back to the pack house.” Both men could smell the scent of other men coming off the girl along with the smell of blood and dry semen on her. Both men were disgusted and pissed with what had been done to this young girl.

“How is she otherwise?” Joe could hear her breathing was very swallow.

“Besides being abused and molested. She’s skin and bones. She looks like whoever had her didn’t feed her.” Jackie felt sorry for this young girl. Her father never went to this extreme with her.

“Can you carry her to the car?” Joe wouldn’t mind carrying her, if need be.

“Yea, I can carry her back to the car.” Jackie follows Joe and Asoese back to Joes car.

Asoese opens the car door for Jackie and grab a blanket for Jackie to coverup with. Joe and Asoese get dress and get back in the car and head back to the pack house.

Jackie looks down at the face of the girl they found and saw that she had blackeyes and bruised cheek. Whoever abused this girl, needs to have their manhood taken off and shoved down their throats. Jackie looks up when they pull into the driveway that lead to the pack house.
When the car stopped. Asoese gets out and opens her door for her. Jackie gets out and heads inside the house and down to the medical room. The pack doctor was already there and he had Jackie places the young girl on the examination table. The doctor shoos everyone out as he goes about examining the girl.

“Do we know who she is?” Jackie looks towards Joe and Asoese.

“No, but I have Justin working on it. He works for the sheriff’s department and can see if she has been reported missing.” Joe had sent Justin this unknown girl picture to see if she was a runaway or if she had been reported missing.

Joe looks towards Jackie “I would like to know where you got those new pieces of jewelry your wearing now. Because, those aren’t normal pieces of jewelry. They are magical in nature.”

Jackie had noticed when she changed forms, the jewelry had changed with her. It hadn’t fallen off when she went from being human to her cat form. She looks at Joe and wanted to tell him, but her mother made her promise not to.

“Joe, I want to tell you. However, I promise someone I wouldn’t. Trust me, in saying that you would be better off not knowing.” Jackie hated to do this, but she did promise.

“Who did you promise?” Joe was curious.

“I can’t tell you Joe. I know you don’t know me very well, but trust me when I say they are someone I trust with my life.” Jackie trusted her mother.

Joe just looks at Jackie and could tell she was hiding something, but she was being honest.

“Alright, I’ll trust you. Just don’t let this to come back and bite me in the ass, Jackie.” Joe knew cats always had their secrets.

“It won’t, I promise.” Jackie hopes it won’t.

The three of them wait as the pack doctor looks over the girl. He uses his special ability to tell him what injuries this girl has as he does his own examination of her. He finds old healed scars on her hands and on her back and buttocks. He finds partially healed bite marks on her arms and stomach area. He does notice that she has tearing in her vaginal area from something huge shoving itself into her body.

He gives her a sponge bath and documents everything about the marks and bites and anything else he finds. He steps outside the medical room and finds Jackie, his Alpha and Asoese waiting for him. He was startled to say the least.

“How is she, Liam?” joe was curious

“She’s been badly abused and is terribly underweight. She’s got healed scars from when someone bite her and the scaring around her wrist, neck and ankles where someone shackle her. She has tearing in her vaginal opening and the marks on her back and legs were made by a whip. Someone took a hot branding iron and branded her feet. She has scarring on her hands and buttocks.”

“So, someone was keeping her as their sex slave?”

“Everything points towards that, Jackie.” That was what Liam had been guessing.

“Is she going to be okay, Liam?” Asoese hated seeing young children abused like this one was.

“She’ll be okay. She’s going to need her weight brought up to what it should be and let her injuries heal. She is a Were, but what type I don’t know. She is like you Jackie. She doesn’t heal like most Were’s do. It looks like she heals at a normal human rate.”

“Are there Weres out there that she could be related too?” Jackie knew why she didn’t heal like everyone else. She wonders if this girl was like her.

“Let’s move her to one of the spare rooms.” Joe figures if nothing else, the pack could care for her.

“I’ll do it, Joe. If she wakes up. She might freak if a guy she doesn’t know is carrying her or if she fears guys.” Jackie figures if she has been used like a sex slave, she might feel uncomfortable around all the guys here.

“Then, I think you might have to stick around here for a while, Jackie.” Joe had a smile on his face.

He knew Jackie’s place was barely big enough for her. Her fire tower home was rather small.

“I don’t mind. I can still visit my place if I need something.” Jackie had a smile on her face as she looks towards Joe and Asoese.

“Why do you like that fire tower of yours so much, Jackie?” Asoese was curious.

“Let’s see. First the view I have from it, Second, I’m a cat and we like high places., Third, it was my first home since I ran away. Fourth, it’s mine. I own it.” Jackie had a pleasant smile on her face.

Asoese just shakes his head.

Joe just smirks as he walks into the medical room and pick-up the young girl carefully and carry her upstairs to a room near his room. He takes one of his t-shirts and slips it on her and tucks her in. When he leaves the bedroom, he leaves the door crack. This way, she doesn’t think when she wakes-up that she is locked in.

Jackie looks at their sleeping beauty. She had been woken-up in the middle of night from the girl screaming. She had rushed to the little girl’s room still wearing the oversized shirt she had brought back from her tower. She found the little girl cowering against the headboard. She could tell the poor thing was scared and frightened.

She walks in slowly, so not to scare the little girl. Jackie starts purring as she moves closer to the bed. The little girl turns her head towards
Jackie and watches as she turns into an ordinary calico house cat. Jackie moves closer, still purring and rub up against the little girl.

Kayla had watched as a young teenage girl had changed form a human into a small house cat rubbing against her. She reaches down and pet the cat. She could hear the purring coming from her.

Jackie jumps onto the little girls lap and purr a little louder for her. She arches her back each time the little girl strokes her. She rubs her body against the little girl and after a few minutes, she feels the little girl calm down and slowly fall back asleep. Jackie stays by her for a little while and then jumps off the bed and resume her human form. Her hair was a little longer, but that was fine with her. She tucks the little girl under the blanket. Jackie had resumed her cat form and slept with the little girl.

Joe and Asoese had gone back to backtrack the little girls scent and came to an abandon run down house. There had been people living there, but had left in a hurry. Both men had picked up normal human smells. There were at least twelve different scents throughout the house.

Joe had found the small cage they had kept the girl in along with the shackles and collar.

There was also a make-shift lab that look like they had been making ruby and some other substance. Asoese had picked up several different Were blood in some of the broken beakers on the floor of the makeshift lab. Some were species that Asoese had never come across before.
The rest of the place was a mess. Joe and Asoese couldn’t figure out why the people had left in such a hurry. All they did know, was that the little girl had been left behind and she had managed to escape on her own. Asoese found a SD card hidden under some pizza boxes.

When he gets back to the house, he watches the videos on it and couldn’t believe what he was seeing. The men that held the little girl had recorded everything they did to the girl. They were getting pleasure out of the things they did to her. Asoese had to stop watching the videos. He was finding it hard to keep his anger in check.

He changes into his hybrid form and goes down to the gym to take his anger out. Asoese beast was so angry right now, that he wanted to kill something. He takes his anger out on the reinforced punching bags and the thick oak log they had for punching and clawing.

Jackie comes walking in and watches as Asoese tore into the oak log. She stays quiet as she watches as Asoese works his anger out. She could tell he was angry. She could smell it coming off him. After watching him for an hour-n-half.

“What has you so angry?”

Asoese turns quickly when he hears Jackie’s voice. He was so focused on destroying things, that he hadn’t notice someone else had come into the gym.

He looks towards Jackie “videos of how that little girl was treated. The people that abused and molested that poor girl.”

Jackie tosses a towel towards Asoese.

He catches it and dries off.

“Then it would be better not to show me. I have a temper worse than you do. My cat nature doesn’t put up with any abuse anymore and will strike out without my knowing it.” Jackie knew her cat hid what it did to her father. Her mother told her that she had order her too.

“You’re cat acts on its own, without you knowing?” Asoese had never heard of that happening.

“Yep, she reacted on her own and I have no knowledge of what she did. Since, I was abused she wanted revenge for what my father did to me. To this day I still don’t know what happened.” Jackie didn’t want to know where her father was or what happened to him.

“I’ve never heard of any one’s nature doing that before. You are a strange one Jackie.” He wipes his face some more.

“Why thank you. Let’s just say I’m learning more about what I am each day. As for the little girl we brought back, she’s going to need help to overcome what was done to her. Abuse is a hard thing for a child to overcome. Especially, when it was sexual abuse.”

“True. I think she’s going to need you to help her through it. She’s going to be skittish and uneasy around me and the rest of the guys. She’s going to need a woman and since she is comfortable with you. It might be best that you take charge of her. Show her that we can be trusted.”

“I think you can show her that on your own Asoese. Still, before I take her to my place, I think we need to get her body weight back up. Were there any other videos you found that would explain why she was there or who the people were?”

“From what I saw. She was sold to the people that abused her. Some Asian looking man sold her to the men that held her.” Asoese saw an old Asian man selling the little girl to the men that abused her.

Now, they needed to track down those men and bring them to justice for what they did to the girl. They also needed to be brought to justice for making Ruby as well. How they got their hands on a vampire and managed to drain them of all their blood, he wants to know. Because if they were doing it in their territory. The vampires will think they had something to do with it. The last thing they need right now is a war with the vampires.

Jackie goes over towards one of the weight lifting machines and start lifting weights.

Asoese changes back into his human form and watches Jackie as she works out. He had smelled the perfume she had worn the other day at breakfast. He knew there was no way that perfume was produce in stores. He also noticed the reaction Joe had when he touched the jewelry Jackie had on as well.

Jackie works out for a while. She stops and grabs a towel to dry off. She spots Asoese observing her. Her cat spirit was feeling a little proud of the attention she was getting from Asoese.

“I’m going to go and take a shower and check on the little girl.” Jackie starts walking towards the elevator to go back upstairs to shower. She puts a little wiggle in her walk as she approaches the elevator doors.

Asoese watches as Jackie walks towards the elevator. His nostrils flare as he catches her scent. He could feel his wolf stir and peeks out to look at Jackie as she walks to the elevator. He inhales her scent again and could feel his wolf stir more.

Asoese just watches as Jackie steps into the elevator and disappear from his sight. Asoese is going to have to talk with Joe. He knew this wasn’t the time to find his mate. He walks over to the elevator and takes it up after it comes back down to the gym.

Jackie couldn’t believe she did what she did. She could feel her cat spirit being restless and frisky. She just heads towards the room the little girl was in and peeks in. She notices the little girl was awake.

“Ah, I see sleeping beauty has woken up.” Jackie walks in slowly so not to scare the girl.

Kayla was startled when she heard the woman’s voice, but when she saw her. She knew it was the cat lady. She also notices she was wearing an oversized t-shirt that smelled like the strange lady.

Jackie walks over and sits on the edge of the bed.

“My name is Jackie. What is your name?”

In a low soft voice “Kayla.”

“It’s nice to meet you Kayla. Are you hungry or thirsty?” Jackie had heard her tummy rumble.

Kayla shakes her head yes. She was very hungry and thirsty. She hadn’t had anything to eat in three days.

“Well, let’s go and get you something to eat and drink then.” Jackie holds her hand out to Kayla.

Kayla was hesitating to take Jackie’s hand. She didn’t want to be hurt again by anyone. She has been tricked before.

Jackie could feel that Kayla didn’t trust her completely.

“I promise I will not allow any harm to come to you Kayla.” Jackie kept her hand out for Kayla to take.

Kayla reaches slowly for Jackie’s hand. She gasps it tight.

Jackie gently pulls Kayla to her body and hold her in her arms.

“Your safe now, Kayla. No one will ever hurt you here and they won’t allow anyone to hurt you either. You have my pledge on that.” Jackie stands up and carries Kayla down to the kitchen.

Kayla just rest her head on Jackie’s shoulder as they left the bedroom. Her nose told her that there were male wolves in the house. She holds tight to Jackie as they enter the kitchen. She didn’t want to let go of Jackie when she sat her down on a stool.

“I’m going to be right here Kayla, I promise.” Jackie looks at Kayla with a smile on her face.

Kayla lets go and watches as Jackie goes over towards the big refrigerator in the kitchen and grab things out of it. She watches as Jackie pours her a glass of juice and sets it down in front of her. It smelled like pineapple and oranges.

“I think you’ll like this. It’s one of my favorites.” Jackie pours herself a glass from the same carton and drinks it from her glass to show Kayla it was safe.

Kayla picks her glass up and takes a sip. She drinks some more while she watches Jackie make them two salads with fresh grilled chicken.
Jackie sits the plate she made for Kayla in front of her and sits next to her.

“Enjoy.”

Jackie watches as Kayla cautiously takes a bite. She smiles as Kayla takes another bite. She takes a bite of her own salad.

When Kayla is done with her salad. Jackie gives her a huge piece of coconut cream pie and a vanilla shake to go with it. By the time Kayla was finishes eating. Her tummy had stopped rumbling.

“Come on, let’s go outside for a while Kayla.” Jackie takes Kayla outside.

“I’m going to turn into a big cat for you to ride okay, Kay?”

Kayla shakes her head yes.

Jackie turns into a White Heart Tiger and rub-up against Kayla. She licks her, on her face and kneels so Kayla can climb onto her back.

Kayla climbs onto Jackie’s back after wiping away the slobber from her face. She pets Jackie and gets a deep purring sounds from her. Kayla liked how soft Jackie’s coat was. She holds on tight when she feels Jackie stand up.

Jackie takes Kayla on the jogging path she had discovered around the lake. She keeps a nice study pace, so Kayla didn’t have a problem staying on her. She wanted Kayla to enjoy being outside and free.

Kayla enjoys the ride on Jackie and being outside as they walked around the lake. She holds on tight as Jackie speeds up some. Kayla giggles as the wind rushes by her. She leans down and hugs Jackie.

Kayla chases after Jackie outside. Jackie was in her Lynx form and was playing with Kayla. Kayla has become comfortable with all the wolves around the house and knew they would protect her. She also knew Jackie would protect her. She liked Jackie, because she could turn into any type of cat. She got a chance to meet Jackie’s Saber tooth form. She feared it, but when she rubbed up against her, she then knew that it would protect her.

Jackie sneaks up on Kayla as she looks under the steps she had gone under. She lightly swipes her kitty cat paws on Kayla’s behind before running off. She was teaching Kayla to use her senses.

Kayla squeals as she feels her behind smacked. She turns around and spots Jackie running off. Kayla chases after her in her fox form. The pack healer managed to heal her broken bones and now she was training her at her tower house. Kayla and her spent last night at the fire tower. Kayla liked it, because it was just them two. She helped Jackie make a stew from scratch on the wood stove.

They had woken-up and had pancakes for breakfast. Then they had come down from the tower and started playing in their animal form. Kayla tries to spot where Jackie went. She lost her scent and was trying to find it again. Jackie had jumped up into a tree and was watching Kayla as she looked for her.

Jackie jumps back down and land behind Kayla and tap her with her paw.

Kayla jumps when she feels herself tapped. She turns around and spots Jackie grinning at her, in her cat form. Kayla jumps on Jackie and wrestle with her. The two of them have fun rolling around on the ground.

Jackie resumes her human form “you can stay in your fox form, Kayla.”

Jackie picks Kayla up and stroke her fur. Jackie pets Kayla as she held her and looked out over the valley her lookout tower provided. Jackie loved the view she had of the valley. Lately, Jackie’s cat has been restless since discovering that Asoese was her mate. She noticed that she puts a little wiggle in her walk whenever Asoese was around. Sometimes, a purr would escape her lips when she was near him. She knew if she didn’t do something soon, her cat was going to take over and do it for her.

“Are you ready for some lunch?” Jackie looks down at the little red bundle in her arms.

Kayla looks up at Jackie and yips her answer.

“You don’t have to get redress Kayla. You can stay in your birthday suit.” Jackie heads over to the storage shed and grab some hamburgers from the freezer. She grabs a bag of buns and everything else she was going to fix for lunch.

She watches as Kayla changes from her animal form, back to her human form. Kayla had the same problem she had. Every time Kayla changes forms, her hair got longer. She grabs an apron and put it on, as she fires up the grill. She tosses on a few hamburger patties and add seasoning to them. She opens a bag of chips and grab a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi from the shed.

Her and Kayla enjoy the lunch and afterwards the two of them play some more hide and seek. Jackie wanted Kayla to have fun learning how to use her animal form. Kayla stops and sniff the air. Jackie stops nears her as she spots a gray and white wolf coming out of the woods.

Jackie knew right away who it was. Her cat nature sprung forward as soon as it recognized who it was. She trots over to Asoese’s wolf form and rub herself against his body, laying down her scent. Soon the two of them were circling each other and Asoese manages to pin Jackie down and mount her in her cat form.

Jackie looks over at Kayla and saw her watching them as they mated. She could tell that Kayla wasn’t scared or frightened by what was going on. She just sat there and watched as Jackie was mated to her mate.

Asoese wolf had a tight grip on the back of Jackie’s neck as he mated with her. He changes into his hybrid form as he feels Jackie changes into her hybrid form. He was still knotted in her when he changed forms.

“Come here Kayla.” Jackie holds her hand out to her.

Kayla slowly approaches Jackie and takes her hand. She feels herself pulled towards Jackie and held against her body. She then feels Asoese wraps his arms around her as well.

“Your now our baby, Kayla. We’re going to adopt you the traditional way tonight, after your father slips out of me.” Jackie nuzzles Kayla as she holds her tighter to her.

After a half an hour, Asoese can pull out of Jackie. Jackie was sore by the time he pulls out of her. He had left his mating bite on her right
shoulder.

“I’m sorry for being so forceful with you, Jackie.” Asoese couldn’t believe that his wolf had taken over like it had.

“It’s okay. My cat wanted you so badly, that I might have ended up raping you.” She looks down at Kayla, who was still in her arms.

“You don’t mind me and Asoese adopting you, do you Kayla?” Jackie’s cat wanted Kayla as her own cub.

Kayla looks up at Jackie “I don’t mind you becoming my mother or Asoese becoming my father.” She snuggles against Jackie’s skin.

Asoese summons the pack doctor to perform the traditional adopting ceremony to make Kayla his and Jackie’s daughter.

The pack doctor shows up and performs the ritual to make Kayla Jackie’s and Asoese child. When Jackie’s blood enters Kayla’s body, she started to feel strange as a rush of power flows into her from Jackie. The power had a feline feel to it.

“It’s okay little one. Your adopted mother is a special person.” Kayla hears a female voice inside her head.

She looks towards Jackie and nice a Cheshire grin on her face as Jackie puts her finger to her lips.

Jackie leans close to Kayla so, Asoese couldn’t hear her “that was my mother you just heard Kayla. You’ll be meeting her sometime tonight.”

Once the pack doctor was satisfied that the adaptation had been done properly and there were no problems. Kayla was ordered to rest for the rest of the day.

Jackie picks Kayla up and carry her up the stairs to inside the tower and lay her down on the mattress Jackie has been sleeping on. Jackie looks up at the gold statue of her mother.

“Please look over your granddaughter, mom.” She kisses the cheek of the statue.

Jackie heads back down the stairs to Asoese, so they can talk about everything.

Jackie covers up a yawn as she heads towards the bathroom. Asoese’s wolf kept her awake all night, last night. When she sits down and start peeing, it stings. It was officially announced to the pack that she was Asoese’s mate and that Kayla was officially adopted by her and Asoese.
Kayla still had trust issue with people she didn’t know.

Kayla didn’t like sleeping by herself. She would sleep with her and Asoese in her fox form. Jackie got permission from her mother to reveal what she was to Asoese. Both him and Kayla were visited by her mother. Jackie was glad she wasn’t in her heat cycle right now. As much as her and Asoese have been having sex, she would be pregnant by now.

She knew Asoese wanted a large family. She did tell Asoese that she didn’t want to be the wife that stayed home and raised babies all the time. Jackie knew Kayla was learning about her new abilities. Ever since her blood mixed with Kayla’s. It activated some of Kayla’s special abilities. She could travel anywhere she wanted to. She could also identify other supernaturals and where they were.

“Mom, are you in here?” Kayla knew Jackie was inside the Master bedroom.

“I’m in here, sweetie.” Jackie finishes her business.

She flushes the toilet and wash her hands. She walks out and find Kayla naked sitting on the bed.

“What’s up sweetie?” Jackie walks over to her daughter.

“I’m picking up something weird.” Kayla was kind of puzzled.

She was sensing something weird. She was picking up a female creature, but the host was male. It was curious to her.

“What is it baby?” Jackie walks over and sits next to Kayla.

She couldn’t believe how long Kayla’s hair has gotten. Her red hair was all the way down to her butt. She knew Kayla’s hair got a little longer each time she shapes shifted. The same way her hair did.

“I keep getting this weird feeling of a Were. The Were itself is female, but the host is male.” Kayla was puzzled on that one.

“Is this person a natural born Were or a made one?” Jackie had never heard of this before.

“I don’t know mom. I’ll be back.” She changes form and disappear.

No sooner when Kayla disappear. Asoese comes walking into the bedroom. He sees Jackie sitting on the bed naked and his wolf spring forward. Asoese changes into his hybrid form and walks over to Jackie.

Jackie’s cat spirit sees her mate and wants to play with him. Jackie instantly changes and the two of them embrace and start kissing. She starts biting around his neck and shoulder. She feels herself lifted by her butt and impaled onto his penis. She locks her legs around his waist.

Kayla:
Kayla reappears in a bedroom with clothes and wigs all around her. There was a full-length mirror on the back of the bedroom door. She looks around in her fox form and notices pictures of all sorts of weirdly dressed women on a cork board. She changes into her human form and sniff around. There was the smell of perfume in the air, but there was also the smell of male pheromones and Wolf in the air. She sniffs around for a little bit longer. There were girl undergarments laying around the room and in a hamper. Kayla’s hears footsteps coming her way. She looks around for a place to hide and ducks into the closet. She watches as a woman comes walking into the bedroom. She starts stripping out of the clothes she had on. Kayla continues to watch as the person undresses and discover they were really a male, disguised as a girl.

Rob couldn’t believe the money he made last night. It wasn’t much and wonder if it was his drag or something else? He starts taking his face off, when he feels that familiar feeling of his wolf. He couldn’t believe he had a female wolf spirit. He couldn’t believe that he had lived through the attack that the rest of his friends had died from. Him and several of his friends had been hired to perform at a bachelor party and halfway through their performance. All the men that they were performing for started changing into animals like from a horror movie. They had been attacked by all sorts of different animals.

He had been clawed by a huge wolf. It had pitch black fur and was very vicious. It had almost killed him. It had taken a large chunk out of his leg. He was surprised he had survived the attack. He had passed out from his wounds and when he came too. He found himself in a log cabin with all his wounds bandaged up.

There was a kind lady that took care of him. She helped him through the ordeal of being a Were. She said that normally, the person that turned a person was responsible for taking care of the newly turned wolf. However, the one responsible for his turning had broken several laws. The others that were with him, also were being punished.

She had introduced herself as Angela and had been sent to help him. She had nursed him back to health and when he had his changed. She hadn’t been surprised that he had turned into a female wolf. She had felt the wolf spirit inside of him and knew it was a female wolf. If he wanted his outside to match his inside. That was going to take the ability of her mother to do. She was only able to change people to normal animals, thanks to her Aunt Artemis.

It had surprised him as well. He didn’t know how he felt about having a female spirit inside of him. It did give him a better insight into how women felt. He knew that Angela had said she could ask her mother to change him into a full fledge woman, if he wanted to. He didn’t have to answer her now, but when he decided to just call her name out and she’ll hear him.

He just stares at himself in the mirror and wonder maybe he should become a full fledge woman. He finishes getting undress. He slips on a pair of jeans and an over-size shirt. He heads out fo the bedroom and into the living room.

Kayla comes out of the closet and changes back to her fox form and reappear in her parent’s bedroom. Where she notices her parents in their Hybrid forms. Asoese had Jackie bent over the bed and was stuck in her.

Kayla jumps up on the bed and walks over to stand before Jackie. She licks the tip of her nose.

“What did you find out, sweetheart?” Jackie was curious.

Jackie couldn’t move because her husband was stuck inside her. She could change forms, but it would hurt her. She would be standing on her tip toes. She just looks at Kayla sitting in front of her.

“He was changed, mom. He also dresses in women clothing.” Kayla found that kind of strange.

“Was he dress normally in women clothes or was it kind of out there?”

“He was dressed kind of out there, mom.” Kayla tilts her to the side wondering why he was dressed like he was.

“He’s a Drag Queen, Kayla.” Jackie had met a few and she liked them.

“What’s a Drag Queen, mom?” Kayla still had her head tilted to the side.

“They are gay guys that dress up like women but exaggerate how they look. They aren’t making fun of women. It just they perform like that with music and lip sync in time with the music.” Jackie could feel Asoese relaxing and getting smaller, so he could pull out of her.

“Who are you two talking about?” He pulls a little, but he was still too large to pull out.

“Kayla picked up on a person. His Wolf spirit is female, but he is male. Don’t you find that kind of strange?” she looks over her shoulder towards him.

“That is kind of strange. Who is his alpha?” Asoese was curious.

“He’s a lone wolf. He doesn’t have an alpha.” Kayla looks towards her adopted father.

“Maybe, we should invite him to join the pack?” Jackie wishes Asoese would shrink faster.

“I’ll talk with Joe and see what he thinks.” Asoese knew he was going to be stuck for a while.

Kayla lays on the bed and curl her tail around her and wait for her parents to become unstuck. After twenty minutes, Asoese could pull out of Jackie with a slight popping noise. He walks into the bathroom and relieve his bladder. Jackie moves carefully and sits down on the edge of the bed. The healing she had been given from the necklace has been placed inside her body.

After Asoese comes out of the bathroom, Jackie rushes in and relieves her bladder and takes a shower. While she is in the shower. Kayla knocks on the shower door.

“Come on in sweetie.” Jackie holds the door open for her daughter.

They play around for a few minutes before getting out and dressed. They head downstairs to fix lunch.

“How did last night go, Rob?” Pauley stood in the doorway to Rob’s bedroom. He was enjoying looking at Rob’s nude body.

Rob turns around and looks at his roommate Pauley. He notices Pauley was wearing his favorite sundress today.

“I didn’t make as much money as I thought I would last night and I don’t know if it was because of my drag or the routine.” Rob knew Pauley wanted to change his gender but couldn’t afford to see a doctor on the money he made.

“Well, I know you hate the idea of flipping burgers, but we could use a part-timer down at my store. The guy we hired decided that he didn’t want to work for us anymore. So, he up and left.” Pauley knew Rob hated working burger joints. He’s been working at one since they were in
High school together.

“Thanks just give me a few days to think about it. I do have a question for you Pauley. How long have you known your body didn’t match how you felt?”

“I would say since I was a toddler. I’ve always known I should have been born a girl, instead of a guy. How long have you known you were gay?”

“Since I hit puberty. I was in the locker room when some of the older guys were getting undress and I saw their penis. Girls really didn’t turn me on.” Rob tried dating and having sex, but it just didn’t feel right to him.

“Okay, you don’t like girls, but you do like wearing their clothes. I don’t think I’ve seen you wear a pair of men’s underwear since we have been living together. Are you sure you wouldn’t prefer to be a girl?”

“I don’t know. I’ve always enjoyed having sex with men. I do enjoy wearing women clothes, instead of men’s.”

“Have you spoken to anyone about how you feel?”

“You know as well as I do, I can’t afford to see a counselor. Hell, I can barely cover my share of the bills.”

“Well, maybe you should come down to the center and talk with the counselors down there. They base the fee on how much money you make.” Pauley was glad they had started that program at the center.

“Hey Pauley, have you ever wish you knew of a way to change your gender, without having to go through this whole process?”

“Yea, every person that feels the way I do. We wish there was a way to instantly change our gender. God knows I have used every birthday wish and wishing upon a falling star. I even wrote a note to Santa Clause.”

“I bet that went over well with your parents.”

“My mom liked the idea of having another girl in the house, but my father was disappointed. It caused problems between me and him, but you already know that.” Pauley and Rob only lived a few blocks from each other.

“Yea, I know that. Your father treated you like you weren’t part of the family. It’s a good thing your mother loved you like she did and your brothers accepted you.”

“Well, your family life wasn’t much better, either.” Pauley knew all about Rob’s life.

Rob heads towards the bathroom after their talk and takes a shower. He could feel his wolf inside and she was restless and wanted to go for a run.

“We’ll go in a little while, I promise.” He gets out of the shower and heads back to his room to get dress.

“Hey Pauley, I’m heading out for a while. Do you want to come?”

“Sure, where are you heading?” Pauley had gone and put her face on.

“Clear Lake Park. My wolf wants to go for a run. You don’t mind, do you?”

“Nay, I don’t mind. Let me grab a hat. We can take my car since yours is down right now.” Pauley grabs her favorite hat and her car keys.

Rob follows Pauley out to her car. It was a 1992 Ford Mustang convertible. He helped her restore it. It used to belong to her cousin and he ran it into the ground.

“You know, it is weird you have a female wolf inside of you,” Pauley remembers Rob first showing his wolf to her. She was startled at first, but then she remembered it was Rob inside and he wouldn’t allow anything to hurt her.

Pauley drives Rob to Clear Lake Park. After they arrive at the park, Rob steps into the woods near the parking lot and changes into his wolf.
He had rolled his clothes up and bundle them together, so he could carry them back to the car. Pauley had a leash and a neon-pink collar in her hand.

Rob just looks at the collar.

“What? It’s pink and you’re a female wolf. What did you expect?” Pauley puts the collar on and connects the leash as well.

Rob tries not to pull too hard on the leash as they walk. He could smell the lake and hear the birds in the area chirping away. Rob’s wolf was enjoying its walk.

Pauley couldn’t believe that her best friend was a Were-Wolf. She wouldn’t mind being like him and wonder what her wolf would be like.

“Too bad from what you told me, that most people who are infected don’t survive the change.”

Rob just looks back at Pauley and wonders if the person who saved him could change her. He starts heading towards a secluded area and changes back into his human form.

“What are you doing?” As Pauley watches as Rob removes the collar.

“Calling someone.”

“ANGELA!”

Angela and Theia both appear out of thin air. Angela was looking at the nude man that called her, while Theia was looking at the woman standing nearby. She was wearing a nice sundress and was holding a leash with a neon-pink collar still attached to it.

“So, you have decided to be turned into a woman?” Angela had made the offer to make Rob a woman. She would just need her mother to do it.

“You can do that?” Pauley turned to look at the long auburn color curly hair woman standing near a woman with long amber color hair wearing Roman-style armor. She jumps when she watches a huge pitch-black bobcat appear.

“Me no, my mother yes.” A smile appears on Angela’s face.

“Who’s your mother?” Pauley was freaked out, but she maintains her nerve.

“Leto, daughter of Apollo.”

Pauley was looking dumbfounded at Angela. Who was this woman and who was her mother?
“Why did you call my cousin?” Theia looks at the person who summoned her cousin.

“Theia, it’s alright. I saved Rob’s life. He can call me just to chat.” Angela looks towards Theia.

“Can you turn people into Were-creatures?” Rob knew Pauley wanted to be like him.

“No, I can’t. I can turn you into a normal animal, but I can’t turn you into a Were. My mother can because she channels the power from my
grandfather. Why do you ask?”

“Because I wouldn’t mind being turned into a Were-Wolf,” Pauley replies.

“Well, there is another way, but if we go that route, you’ll need to join a pack to help and train you.”

“You mean for them to bite us?” Rob was thinking that was what she meant.

“Nope, that’s not it. What I mean is, I inject this in you and leave you there for them to look after you.” Angela makes a needle appear in her hands. It had a ruby red liquid inside of it.

“Is that the virus that creates a Were?”

“Yes, now do you want it?” Angela looks towards Pauley for an answer.

“Can you turn both of us into real women before you give that to her?” Rob was curious.

“Yes, I can turn both of you into women if that is what you want.”

Theia just looks at her cousin. She remembered when she begged Athena to let her be her daughter. The only difference they did with her,
transferred her soul from her original body into the one she has now.

“So, where are we going to do this at?” Rob was curious.

“Give me your hands.” Angela holds her hand out for Rob’s and Pauley’s hand.

Theia looks at her cousin “are you heading towards your Grandfather’s temple in Delphi?”

“Yep, that’s where mom stay’s.”

“Okay, I’ll meet you there.” Theia opens a portal and walks through.

The big black cat follows her.

Once Pauley grabs Angela’s hand. The next thing she feels is a tingling sensation throughout her body. Then she feels a light cool breeze.

“Welcome!”

A young woman with light brown hair dress in an old fashion toga greets them.

Joe and Asoese look at the two women standing before them. They were dressed in white embroidered maxi dresses and had ancient Greek sandals on. Asoese recognized one of them right away from the description his adopted daughter Kayla gave him.

“You said they just appeared on your doorstep?” Joe looks at his second in command.

“Actually, sirs. We were sent to you by the Demi-goddess Leto. Her daughter Angela and niece Theia said you have been looking in on me.” Roberta was directing her statement towards Joe.

Pauline was looking at Joe. The wolf spirit inside her found him fascinating. She felt herself getting wet down in between her legs. This was a strange feeling for her.

Joe notices the auburn colored hair one was staring at him. Normally, that would be a sign of challenge to his wolf, but that wasn’t the case.
His wolf comes forward to look at the strange one. She had nice wide hips that could carry his pups. She had an ample chest to feed his children and lightly tanned skin. She had a motherly build to her.

“Mmmm, yummy.” The wolf wanted to take her and make her his right away.

Joe had to reign his wolf in. He had to get a hold of his feelings for this woman. He didn’t know anything about her or who this Demi-Goddess that dropped them at their front door? He’ll have to ask Jackie if she knows this other demi-goddess.

Roberta and Pauline had been a little scared when they were left in front of a large log house by Angela and Theia. They didn’t know what to expect. When they looked around to see where they were, all they could see were some cars and trucks surrounded by trees. They could smell the fresh air, the pine, and oak.

Their wolves loved the smell. It made them feel at home. They could smell other wolves, a cat and a fox. Roberta was used to her enhanced the sense of smell, but her friend Pauline wasn’t. When the door was opened, they were startled. The person that opened the door was a huge Samoan. Both women could feel his power and smell that he was a wolf, but he had the scent of a cat and a fox on him.

Roberta glances towards her friend Pauline and could smell she was turned on by the leader of the pack. She wonders if she had a mate among the pack.

“No, our mate isn’t here.” Roberta was startled when she heard her wolf speak to her.

“You’re welcome to stay with us and join our pack. Ted will show you to your room.” Joe had mentally summoned Ted to the conference room.

“Thank you.” Roberta glances towards Pauline, but she hadn’t taken her eyes off the leader of the pack.

Pauline didn’t know what to do. She wanted to jump Joe right here, right now. She felt her wolf take control of her body. She sashay’s over towards Joe and leans over the table he was sitting behind. She lets out a low growling sound from her deep in her throat.

“Joe, I think you better mate her right now. Because I don’t think she is going to let you out of this room.” Asoese follows Roberta and Ted out of the room.

He made sure to lock the door behind him. He figures Joe was going to be awhile with his new wife. He wonders who this Leto and Angela person was. He had never met anyone by that name before.

He looks at Roberta’s and couldn’t believe this was the same person his daughter told him about. “If you don’t mind me asking. Didn’t you use to be male?”

“Yes. I was once a male, but the person who found and tended to my wounds said if I ever wanted to make my insides feel like I felt on the
inside. Her mother would be able to change me.” Roberta didn’t think Leto would be able too, but after meeting her. She was a believer now.

Ted shows Roberta her room. Roberta saw she could step out on a deck and see everything down on the lake. She notices there was a running path by the lake.

“Thank you, Ted, and Asoese.” Roberta wasn’t sure she and Pauline would have been accepted, but they were.

“Daddy!” Kayla comes running over to Asoese and throws her arms around him.

Roberta looks at the little red haired girl as she is picked up by Asoese. She couldn’t see any features in her that would say she was related to Asoese, but she could smell Asoese scent on her. There was another scent as well. A powerful cat scents.

“Roberta, I would like you to meet my daughter Kayla.”

Kayla looks at Roberta and recognized her wolf “you’re different.”

Roberta was shocked at that statement. How did this little girl know her and how she use to look and how did her father know she uses to be a male as well.

“Do I know you?” Roberta was curious.

“No ma’am, but I know you and your wolf.” Kayla had a playful smile on her face.

“How do you know me?”

“I can locate unique individuals. You used to have a male body, but a female wolf inside of you.” There was a teasing smile on her face.

Roberta just looks at Kayla as Asoese held her in his arms. She wonders why Kayla checked her out. Did she do it on orders from Joe or curiosity?

“Where’s your mother at?” Asoese looks into his daughter’s emerald green eyes.

“Mom is making sure the groceries are unloaded and put away.”

“Ah.” Asoese looks back towards Roberta.

“Feel free to explore the grounds and house. If you have any questions or need anything. Just ask me or my wife.”

“What does your wife look like?” Roberta was curious.

“She has light brown hair, lightly tanned skin and is about average height. The unique thing you’ll recognize about her is her eyes. She has cat
pupils. Her name is Jackie”

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” Asoese leaves Ted to help Roberta settle in.

Kayla had a smile on her face. She giggles as she holds onto her father.

“What are you giggling about?” Asoese tickles Kayla’s side.

“Nothing.” As she lays her head on Asoese’s shoulder.

Asoese heads down to the kitchen, where he finds Jackie busy putting groceries away. She was standing on her tip toes trying to put a box of dry mash potatoes away. They went to the top shelf of the cabinet they were stored in.

“Need help?” Asoese walks over to help his wife.

“Nope, I got it.” Jackie jumps up and bumps the box onto the self.

Kayla claps her hand at her mother’s success.

Jackie turns around and bows to her daughters clapping. Afterward, she stands back up and grabs a few more items to put away. She watches as Asoese sets Kayla on the counter and starts helping. They come to a box of cookies that Asoese knows Kayla likes.

“Give me, give me.” Kayla was reaching for them.

“Jackie, can Kayla have these cookies?” Asoese turns to look at Jackie before handing them over.

“Yes, she can have them, but she better not opening them.” Jackie looks at Kayla when she says that.

“I won't mommy.” Kayla holds onto her cookies after her father hands them to her.

“I heard we just got two new women that joined our pack.” As Jackie kneels to pull items away below the counter.

“Yep. One of them is named Roberts. She was the one Kayla told us that had a female wolf inside of her, but she uses to be male. Her partner Pauline, well we won’t be seeing her and Joe for the rest of the day.”

“You mean, he finally found his mate?” Jackie stops what she was doing to look at her husband.

“Yep.”

“Oh, Candy isn’t going to like that. She still thinks because the two of us were the only women in the pack before Kayla came around. That she had all the men for herself and she wanted to be Joe’s bitch.”

“You know our wolves are the ones who chose our mates. Now, Candy is going to have to get used to being bossed around.” Asoese couldn’t wait till Candy finds out.

“I know who Candy’s and Roberta’s mates are.” Kayla looks towards her parents.

“Who are they, Kayla?” Jackie was curious.

“Roberta’s is an alpha by the name of Bryan Hudson. Candy’s mate is an alpha as well and his name is Clark Leon.”

“Clark Leon? Oh man, I feel sorry for him with Candy.” Asoese had a smile on his face.

“Why do you feel sorry for him?” Jackie was curious because she has never heard or met Clark Leon before.

“He’s really strict about protocol and rules for his pack.”

“What area does he control?” Jackie wonders why he is so strict.

“He controls Atlanta, Georgia. His family was one of the founding families of Atlanta. He was turned back during the Civil War.” Asoese remembered meeting him once. The two of them really didn’t get along, but he was well respected. He had a truce with the vampire lord of that area.

“So, he will expect Candy to act like a southern lady?”

“Yep. However, Candy will love it, because Clark has been waiting a long time for a mate.” Asoese knew Clark has been wanting a mate for ages.

“Okay, now that I know about candy’s mate. What do you know about Roberta’s mate?” Jackie was curious about Bryan.

“Bryan is the Alpha of the Flagstaff pack, which is neutral territory. You go there when you want to negotiate a treaty or territory on neutral grounds. He doesn’t take sides and his people will enforce all diplomatic rules and regulations. They won’t hesitate to kill you if you break the rules in their territory. He also travels around visiting other packs to make sure his records are up to date. He emailed me a couple of days ago saying he’ll be stopping by.” Asoese was preparing for Bryan’s visit.

“Cool, maybe we can set the two of them up.” Jackie walks over and places a kiss on Asoese’s lip.

“Ah mom, not in the kitchen.” Kayla covers her eyes.

“We’re not going to have sex in the kitchen Kayla. Joe would kill us if we do.” Jackie walks over and ruffles her daughter's long red hair.

“Out you two. I need to get dinner ready.” Sakiya came walking into the kitchen.

“We’re leaving.” Jackie picks up Kayla and leaves the kitchen so Sakiya can cook dinner for the pack.

Jackie was in the kitchen fixing coffee for everyone when Pauline comes walking in. She was moving rather stiffly and was glowing. Jackie could smell Joe all over her. Not one part of her body didn’t have Joe’s scent on her.

“Did he let you get any sleep last night?” Jackie knew what it was like to be a new mate.

“No. I was about to doze off and the next thing I knew, we were going at it. He introduces me to his wolf last night.” Pauline was sore from where Joe bit her shoulders and neck.

Jackie just smiles “his wolf has laid claim to you and if I’m not mistaken, he has impregnated you.”

Pauline puts her hand over her womb “you mean, I am going to have his baby?”

“Yep, Joe is an alpha and you were ripe. I don’t know what that goddess did to you, but she made you ready to be Joe’s mate. I can smell the changes taken place within your body.” Jackie was picking up a new scent from her.

Kayla comes skipping in and hugs Pauline “welcome to the pack, Alpha.”

“Thank you, Kayla.” She returns the hug.

Roberta comes stumbling into the kitchen. Where Jackie, Kayla, and Pauline were naked. Roberta was wearing a nightshirt. She glances over towards Pauline “god, you smell like you had sex all night long.”

“I did.” Pauline walks over towards the cabinets and pulls down a coffee mug.

She knew it was one that Joe normally used. She grabs another mug for Roberta and fixes both their coffee.

“Here, this should wake you up.” Pauline hands the other coffee cup to Roberta.

“Thanks.” Roberta takes a sip and it was of a brand she hasn’t had before.

“What type of coffee is this?” Roberta looks at Pauline.

“I don’t know, Jackie made the coffee.” Pauline looks towards Jackie for an answer.

“It’s called Kona and it is from Hawaii. My husband loves Hawaiian coffee.” Jackie knew Asoese loved Kona coffee. She was starting to love
everything he did. It was a new experience for her.

“I wish I knew who my mate was.” Roberta was feeling down since Pauline found her mate.

“I know who your mate is.” Kayla walks over and jumps up on Jackie’s back.

“Oooffff!” Jackie holds onto her daughters’ legs, while she feels Kayla wrap her arms around her neck.

Roberta looks over at Kayla as she holds onto Jackie. The young girl had her chin resting on top of Jackie’s right shoulder. Her red hair blended with Jackie’s blonde hair.

“Who is my mate, Kayla and do you know where he is right now?” Roberta was curious.

“His name is Alpha Bryan Hudson and he is currently in Denton, N.C.” Kayla’s eyes had started glowing.

“He’s in North Carolina? Aren’t we in Bedford County, VA?” Roberta was wondering if Joe would let her go and see her mate.

“Yes, we’re in Bedford. You’ll need Joe’s permission to leave the area to go to your mate.” Jackie could feel Kayla starting to braid her hair.

“Okay. I do have another question for you. Is it common for people around here to walk around naked?” Roberta felt overdressed.

“It’s a Were thing. It took me some time to get used to it as well.” Jackie hadn’t felt comfortable being nude around other people, but after mating Asoese it didn’t bother her anymore.

Joe comes walking into the kitchen “morning ladies.” As he walks up behind Pauline and kisses her neck.

“Mmmmm, good morning my husband.” Pauline could feel Joe’s manhood pressed between her cheeks as he held her.

Kayla sneezes from the rise of hormones in the kitchen coming from Pauline and Joe.

“Bless you, sweetie.” Jackie pats Kayla’s leg.

“Can I drink my coffee first, sweetie?” As much as Pauline wanted to have sex with her husband, she wanted her coffee first.

“I guess.” There was a growl in Joe’s voice when he spoke.

“On that note. I’m going for a run.” Jackie heads towards her bedroom.

“Do you mind if I join you, Jackie?” Roberta figures she’ll leave the lovebirds along for now.

“I don’t mind. I think you’ll like it.” Jackie drops Kayla off at her bedroom.

“Go put your exercise outfit on sweetie.” As Jackie lets go of Kayla’s legs so she can slide down her back.

“Okay, mom.” Kayla rushes into her bedroom and puts on some shorts, tank top, and her tennis shoes.

When Kayla comes back out, she finds her mother and Roberta waiting for her. They head down to the track by the lake and start running the path.

“Jackie, can I ask you a few questions?” Roberta was curious about a few things.

“Go ahead and ask.” Jackie keeps pace with her while watching Kayla as she jogged ahead of them.

“What exactly is the job of the mate of an Alpha?” Roberta was curious.

“Well, according to what Asoese once told me, is that the female is the heart of the pack. She’s like the den mother of a group. The other pack
members look to her for gentleness and kindness. Where the Alpha is the ruler and enforcer of the pack laws, the female Alpha balances his aggressiveness out. She keeps him from going to berserk and helps to keep peace in the pack. She also makes sure everyone in the pack is doing what is required of them.” Jackie knew there was more, but it was a learn as you go deal.

“That doesn’t sound too hard.” Roberta figures that she could do it.

“Another job of the female alpha, is to give the Alpha, children. A pack measures how well they are doing by how many children they have. A pack also doesn’t tolerate any harm towards children either. If you want to piss a Were off, harm a child in any way and see what happens to you.” Jackie knew one day she will give birth to children that carry Asoese genes.

“Did you know Asoese was your mate when you came to the Pack?” Roberta wanted to know more about Jackie.

“Actually, Roberta. I had no idea that I was his mate. I ran away from a situation that if I had stayed. I might have died. Plus, I’m the daughter of a cat Goddess, so I’m not a wolf.”

“You’re not a Wolf?” Roberta was surprised.

“Nope, I’m not a wolf. I have a cat form and Kayla has a fox form. She’s a Kitsune and I’m a demi-goddess.” Jackie’s mother didn’t mind
revealing what she was, but she did tell her to be careful about doing it.

They stop at the halfway mark and walk out onto a small pier that you cloud swim across the lake too. Roberta stands there looking at the mountain ranges and trees.

“Mom, can I jump into the lake?” Kayla loved the water.

“I don’t see why you can’t.” Jackie watches Kayla as she removes her clothes to jump in.

Jackie figures a good swim would do her some good as well. she strips out of her clothes as well.

Kayla takes hers off and put them with her mother’s. Once she was completely naked, she runs off the pier and into the cold lake water.

“Come on Roberta. You’ll like this.” Jackie jumps in and joins her daughter.

“What the heck.” Roberta undresses and jumps in as well.

The three of them just splash around and have fun playing int he lake. The water was deep, so Kayla had to use the pier pile-on to keep from going under.

Jackie had a pleasant smile on her face. Her mom dropped Roberta right in the room her mate was in. She would have loved to see the expression on Roberta’s face when she woke up.

She had to work at the store. As she is standing at the register, her nose starts twitching. Several men in their late forties and early fifties stood before her. She recognized their scent as have been on Kayla when they found her. A low growl builds in her throat, but she stops. She will pass the information onto Joe and Asoese to take care of.

Jackie sends a mental message to Asoese of the men. She knew he was home with Kayla taking care of her. They were cooking outside on the grill.

Joe and Pauline on the other hand. Were like her and Asoese were when they found out the two of them were mates. Luckily, she wasn’t in heat at the time. Pauline on the other hand, was as ripe as a melon and Joe’s wolf made sure she was going to carry his cubs.

Moon Lake Pack House:
Asoese was outside cooking on the grill with Kayla helping him. He hears Jackie’s mental voice and saw the mental image of the two men she recognized. He receives her message of the two men and a growl escapes his lips.

“Is everything okay, daddy?” Kayla heard her adopted father growl.

“Everything is fine, Kayla. Your mother just sent me some information that wasn’t pleasant.” Asoese passes the information along to Joe.

“We’ll go after them when Kayla is in bed. I’ll Pauline stay with her.” Joe looks towards his wife while asking her to watch after Kayla tonight.

Pauline looks over towards Kayla as she tears into the thick deer rib Asoese gave her. She had barbeque sauce all over her lips and some on her nose.

“Are you sure she’s not a wolf?” Pauline bites into her rib meat.

“We’re sure.” Joe smiles as he watches Kayla tear into the rib meat.

Jackie continues her shift and by the time she gets off work. She was ready to go after the ones responsible for hurting Kayla. Once she was away from the store. She changes into her cougar form and starts tracking the two men. Their scents are old, but thanks to her being a Demi-goddess she could still track them.

She moves tracks them to an old hunter’s cabin about fifty miles from the pack house. She changes into her small house cat form and moves towards the cabin. Her nose was telling her that there were other Were’s here and they were smelling sick. She climbs a nearby tree to look inside and saw four men. There was a white hair, pale skin girl with a metal collar around her neck. She could tell that the poor girl had bruises all over her body and a bloody lip.

“Where are you, Jackie?” Asoese was searching for his wife.

“I’m in a tree near the cabin. There are four men inside with a white hair, pale skin girl. The poor thing looks like she has been used as a punching bag. I’m also picking up on four more Were scents coming from below the cabin.” Jackie jumps down and tries to find some sort of windows but couldn’t locate one.

She locates the cellar and the doors covering it were made of metal. There was a brass lock securing it. Her claws would break the lock in no time. The question was, was the doors booby trap?

She walks back looking for Joe and Asoese. She spots them coming from the woods.

“How is Kayla?” Jackie was concerned about her adopted daughter.

“She’s fine, her and Pauline were playing candy land when we left. Pauline said she’ll make sure she sticks to her bedtime.” Asoese couldn’t believe how natural Pauline was with Kayla.

“I think I found a way in or do you want to make a statement?” Jackie wanted to change to her Sabertooth form and let them get a close and personal look of her teeth.

Asoese could feel Jackie’s emotions and he knew his wife was pissed. He looks towards Joe “I think it might be best to let Jackie handle this.
She’s pissed big time and she wants these guys to meet her teeth.”

Joe looks at Jackie and he could sense how pissed she was. He also smelled the Were scents and they didn’t smell well.

“Go ahead Jackie and have your fun.” Joe knew when Jackie was pissed, she was mean.

“Thank you, Joe.” She backs up to get a running start.

She starts running and changing at the same time. Just as she hit the window, she was in her Saber form and let out a loud roar.

“Dam! I have never seen Jackie do that before.” Asoese was impressed with his wife.

The guys inside were startled when a large object came crashing through the glass window. They scatter out of the way as the creature before they roared very loudly. They have never seen anything like it before.

Jackie looks at one guy and swipes at him with her massive paw with her claws extended. The guy she swiped at, was cut in half. She feels bullets hit her body. A growl escapes her mouth as she swipes at him.

Joe and Asoese had the other two pinned on the floor with their muzzles near their throats. Asoese wanted to kill his man. He felt his wife’s anger.

Jackie changes forms. She walks over to the guys Asoese and Joe had pinned down on the floor.

She kneels next to one guy “why do you have the girl collared and why are there four Were’s here?”

The guy looks up at a woman with light brown hair and gold cat eyes looking at him. He continues to look into those golden glowing eyes.

“I said, why does the girl have a collar on and why are there sick Were’s here?” There was a growl in Jackie’s voice.

“Go to hell, bitch!” He spits at Jackie.

Jackie raise’s her hand with her fingernails turned into claws and was getting ready to bring them down on his face.

“Wait, Jackie.” Asoese knew his wife was extremely pissed and her cat wanted to kill this man.

An angry growl escapes Jackie’s human lips, as she looks at her husband. Her cat wanted to rip this guy’s heart out. Her cat wanted this man to pay for hurting their cub.

Asoese extends his influence around Jackie to clam her down. He hopes his wolf can lower her temper.

“Honey leave him to me and Joe. Go free the girl and the four others’.” Joe nudges his wife’s hand.

Jackie looks at her husband and stands up to walk away. She glances back as Asoese changes forms and knocks the guy out. She follows her nose down to a basement that had six cells. The girl she saw earlier was down there cowering in an empty cell. The other cells held another girl that was in bad shape and three teenage boys that didn’t look too healthy either.

She could smell that all four teenagers were Were. The white hair girl, she was a different story.

“I’m not going to hurt you. My name is Jackie and me and my friends are here to help you.” Jackie approaches the white hair girl carefully.

She kneels by her and checks her out. The poor thing looked like she had been as abused as Kayla had. She also spots track marks on the girl’s arms and legs.

Kirstie looks at the light brown hair woman kneeling next to her. Her eyes weren’t human looking, but cat looking. She looks at the woman
“who are you?”

“I’m Jackie. I and my friends are here to help you.” Jackie could see the fear in and defeat in the woman’s eyes.

“Can you tell me what they have been doing to you?” Jackie could smell that there was something wrong with this girl.

“They kept giving me some sort of drug, that made me do whatever they told me to do. I had no choice in the matter.” Kirstie hated what they made her do.

“I’m going to snap this collar off your neck.” Jackie gets ready to snap the collar.

“It has silver in it.” Kristie didn’t know if she was a Were. Silver would hurt her if she tried.

“Silver doesn’t bother me.” Jackie snaps the collar in half without a problem.

Kristie rubs the raw flesh around her neck “thank you.”

“You’re welcome. Now let’s go over here and free your friends.” Jackie walks over towards the cells.

“Be careful, the doors have silver in them.” Kristie had seen Jackie handle her silver collar, but the bars on the cell doors were thicker.

Jackie extends her claws and channels her magic through her claws. She slashes through the first door. The pieces from the cell door hit the floor. She does the same thing to the next three cells.

The three teenage boys just look at the woman that was freeing them. They spot two more guys come down the stairs that lead from the first floor. They leave their cells and stand together.

Jackie walks into the fourth cell and kneels next to the teenage girl. She had a swollen belly and wasn’t looking too well. Jackie places her hand on the girl’s belly and detected a child inside her womb. She was close to giving birth.

“Joe, we got a pregnant girl here.” Jackie picks her up off the floor carefully.

She cradles the girl carefully and carries her out to the guys. The poor thing was so malnourished and was ready to give birth at any time.

“We need to get her back to the pack house, fast.” Jackie shares some of her power with the girl, to balance her energies out.

Joe look at the others “come with us please.”

Asoese and Joe lead the four out of the cellar. He leads them to an SUV that belonged to one of the guys at the hunting cabin. Joe sends a message to the pack healer to be there when they get back to the pack house.

Jackie uses her energy to keep the pregnant girl she was holding, stable. The poor thing was in bad shape and needed help. She just hopes the girl makes it.

Joe takes the curves careful as he races to get the girl back to the pack house. He was concerned about the pregnant were Jackie was holding. He wonders if the child was Were as well.

They pull up in front of the pack house after a while. Jackie rushes the girl down to the medical room. The pack doctor was waiting for them.

Pauline had tucked Kayla in her bed. She had looked so cute as she held a cat that looked like one of Jackie’s form. She had gotten Joe’s message and got the house manager to prepare four rooms. When Jackie rushed by her with someone in her arms. She got concerned that it was a member of the pack.

Joe walks in with the three guys following him. Asoese escorted the other young girl. There was something about her that didn’t seem right.

Sakiya makes sure the newcomers are photographed to record their injuries. Then she makes each of them take a bath, while she whips up some nourishing food for them. She knew that these teenagers were going to need time to heal. She was concerned about the white haired girl. There was something weird about her.

Kristie wakes up early and feels the bandage that had been put around her neck last night. There were a house robe and slippers for her on the desk in her room. The nightshirt she had been given to her by Jackie felt nice against her cleaned skin. She smelled food cooking and followed her nose to the kitchen after slipping on the house robe and slippers.

When she gets to the kitchen, she notices an auburn colored hair woman cooking. There was a young red haired girl wearing a baby doll outfit helping her. The little girl turns around and smiles at her.

“Good morning Kristie.” Kayla was smiling at her.

“Morning.” She looks towards the woman. She could feel that she was an Alpha.

Pauline turns around and notices the white hair girl Joe, Jackie and Asoese brought back last night. She could feel that the girl was a Were, but there was something strange about her form.

“Good morning Kristie. Would you like something to drink?” Pauline had heard Kayla call the teenager that name.

“I don’t want to be bothered.” Kristie didn’t know how this Alpha would react to her.

“Nonsense, you’re not a bother. So, what would you like to drink.” Pauline could feel her wolf wanting to hold and protect the teenager.

Kayla had grabbed a glass and filled it with mango juice. She walks over and hands it to Pauline “she’ll like this alpha.”

“Thank you, Kayla.” Pauline accepts the glass of juice.

“Here, try this Kristie.” Pauline hands her the glass.

Kristie accepts the glass and takes a tentative taste of the juice. It tasted familiar to her, as she drunk it. Her body loved it and was craving it.
She looks towards Kayla “what type of juice is this?”

“It’s mango juice.” Kayla loved it and figures Kristie would as well.

“Breakfast will be ready in a few minutes, Kristie. Why don’t you take a seat at the table?” Pauline was being gentle and motherly towards her.

Kristie goes over and sits down at the dining room table. A few minutes later, the boys that had been rescued come walking into the kitchen and given whatever juice they wanted to drink or coffee if they wanted coffee.

Kayla helps Pauline cook and serve breakfast. She liked cooking with Pauline, her mother, and father. She loved cooking with her father the most because he lets her do most of the cooking.

Jackie stretches as she gazes at Asoese. He wore her out last night after they got back. She was still pissed about what was done to the children they found. Asoese’s wolf knew the only way to calm her down was to have sex with her. So, Asoese had changed form and just took her.

Asoese looks at the teenagers and wonder who turned them and why. It was against the rules to turn anyone under 18yrs.old. if they were born Were that was fine, but no one was allowed to be turned until they reached 18 years of age.

Jackie carries Kayla back over to her seat and put her down. “finish your breakfast sweetie.” Jackie kisses her cheek.

“Yes, ma’am.” Kayla goes back to eating her breakfast.

Jackie looks at the teenagers at the table ‘how are all of you doing?”

The youngest of the boys look up at Jackie “we’re doing better. Thank you for rescuing us.”

“You’re welcome. After breakfast, I think the Alpha and my husband would like to talk with you. You have nothing to fear him or this big teddy
bear here.” As Jackie elbows Asoese.

“Umf!” Asoese feels Jackie elbow him.

One of the boys looks at Asoese “sir, what is to become of us?”

“Well, for one. We’re going to get you healthy first. Then we will contact your family, but you can’t tell them you’re a Were unless you already have a family member that is one. If you're still in our territory, we will look after you and have you come to our meetings. If you’re in another pack’s territory, we’ll contact the Alpha of that territory, so they can watch and protect you.” Asoese knew if they didn’t. These kids might be considered rouges and be attacked.

“Thank you.” Andy didn’t know how he and the other boys were going to be treated.

He looks towards Kristie and hopes she can forgive them for what they did to her. They had no choice in the matter. Just as they had no choice with Jennifer either.

Kayla looks at the boys and then to Kristie. She reaches over and squeezes her hand. Jackie stands still and lets Asoese feel what she was getting from Kayla.

She looks at Kayla with her talent and realizes that the girl they have been calling Kristie, had in fact been a boy. She was turned into a girl when the men they took down replaced her blood with a mixture of Werewolf and Fae blood. The boys had been forced to rape her, hoping to produce a Were baby that the men could sell off. That was what happened to the young girl down in medical. “I need to go for a run.” Jackie changes into her cougar form and runs out of the house.

Asoese could feel how disgusted and angry his wife felt. Even his wolf felt like that. He watches as Kayla turns into her fox form and chase after her mother.

Kayla manages to catch up to her mother and run beside her. She knew her mother was angry and needed to burn the anger off. What happened to those girls brought back bad memories for her mother.

They stopped running once they got to her mother’s tower. There was a spot her mother liked to go when she was feeling pissed. Kayla curls up under her mother’s head as she laid and watched the clouds drift by.

Jackie, Asoese, Joe, Pauline, and Dr. Greg Kinder sat at the conference table looking at the three teenage boys and Kristie. The girl that had been pregnant gave birth to a baby boy. The child had some health problems but was recovering down in medical. Dr. Kinder did what he could for him.

The girl was another matter. There were so many drugs in her system and was so badly malnourished that it was touch and go with her. Dr. Kinder did everything he could for her, but it was down to her now. She had to decide if she wanted to live or die now.

Joe looks at the teenagers “Kristie, Sakiya informed me that you didn’t want to contact your parents. Is there a reason why?”

Kristie looks at Joe and the others “yes, sir. It’s because my parents are assholes and abusive towards me. I ran away from them and I don’t think they will accept me as I am now.”

Kristie’s home life had been abusive and problematic. Her parents were alcoholics and drug users and ignored him. He had run away and was picked up by two of the men that had been killed. They had taken him to a run-down hospital where a doctor and nurse performed surgery on him.

They removed some of his organs and replace his blood with a combination made up of Werewolf and Fey blood. Even his heart had been replaced with a Fey one. The fey they had transplanted organs from was female. They couldn’t tell that the fey was a woman, until they opened her up and started going through her organs. The reason they used the werewolf blood, was it allowed Kristie’s body not to reject the transplanted organs. They figure if she survived, they could use her to breed other supernatural.

The girl down in medical had been impregnated by one of the three boys. They were going to use her to breed as many babies as they could. She had been an ordinary girl, who happened to be the niece of one of the men that held them prisoner and changed them into werewolves.
The drugs they used on Kristie was to make her more submissive and to make her fertile. That way they would have two girls to produce offspring to sell off. Ted found out from the interrogation of the two men that they would kidnap men, women, teenagers and turn them into Were’s to either sell or breed.

The doctor that has been supplying them with the drugs and doing experiments on their victims was named Dr. Victor Evans and his Assistant Dorothy Crowfoot. They would fly in when they had enough people for him to experiment on.

As for the buyers, they would hold an online live auction for various buyers to bid on the Were’s they were selling. Some were countries that wanted to create a Were army and some were people that liked hunting and wanted to hunt Were’s. Some wanted Were’s to fight in arenas and such.

Joe looks at Kristie and his wife and she nods her head yes to his unspoken question. He raised an eyebrow, as he asked her if she meant what she said. They were talking mentally between the two of them through their mate bond.

“Kristie, since you don’t want to go home. I and my wife will adopt you as our child. There is an adoption process that will share blood between the three of us. That is if you agree to it. No one is going to force you if don’t want to.”

“Can I think about the adoption, until I get to know you two?” Kristie didn’t know what she wanted to do or what she was anymore.

“Yes, but until you agree. You will be our ward which means you’ll be protected.”

Just as he said those words, Kayla appears in her fox form and jumps up on the table in front of Jackie. She looks at her mother and lays down in front of her.

“She was getting lonely with no one to play with.” Jackie starts petting her.

Joe just shakes his head and looks over towards the three male they saved. They told Joe and Asoese what they were forced to do to Kristie and to the other girl down in medical. The boys had been forced to mate with the girls in their hybrid form so that they could get enough semen in them to produce a baby.

Once Joe decided that they weren’t responsible for their actions. He allowed them to contact their parents. All but one had been offered to come back home. The third one, who happened to be fifteen years old was told that he was considered dead to his family.

As for the young girl down in medical, Dr. Kinder has petition Joe to become the guardian of her. Even though she wasn’t a Were, Dr. Kinder was curious how she managed to give birth to a Were-child. It was unusual for a normal woman to give birth to one.

As for the representative from The Lunar Fire Pack lead by a female Alpha named Esmeralda, Lupas was new and he didn’t know much about her or her pack. He heard rumor she had a legendary Fire Wolf that was a member of her pack.

“As for you, Alec. You will be a mentor by Mike Winter. He has two teenagers of his own that are Were’s and he has petitioned to become your mentor.” Joe knew Mike and his boys will make an excellent mentor to Alec.

“Yes, sir.” Alec wonders who this Mike person was.

“Since there isn’t anything else to be said. Is there anything you would like to ask us?” Joe looked at each teenager.

“No, sir.”

“I think its time to go and get some lunch.” Pauline looks at her husband and Asoese to see if they agree.

“I’m with you, Alpha. I think our group here will love some lunch.” Jackie picks Kayla up off the table and escort the group to the dining room.

Cairo, Kentucky, Ava’s Horse Ranch:

Sera just smiles at Ava, as she reaches for Courtney’s hand. She loved being their third wife and property. She never regretted asking them to take her and make her their property.

Ava leans down and kisses Sera. When Ava stops kissing Sera, Courtney leans over and kisses Sera as well.

“Now, why did you need to talk to me, Sera?” Ava wiggles against Sera’s groin.

“Our father-in-law and pack leader called and wants to know if we had someone available to travel to Moon Lake Pack to bring back a person here.” Sera was enjoying Ava wiggling against her.

“I think we should allow her to go.” As Courtney straddles Sera’s face.

“Okay.” Ava just smiles as she and Courtney please their third wife.

A few hours later, Sera comes walking out of the woods near the packed house. She knows she just announced her arrival. She stands and waits for the pack enforcers to arrive. She straightens the dress she had on while she waited.

Sam relays what Sera told him back to Asoese mentally. The only Vreeland he had ever heard of before was Margaret Vreeland. The former
mate to the Alpha of the Hipamika Clan, before it was passed to Alan Sparger. That was over a hundred years ago.

Sera kept watching the hybrid wolf in front of her. She also knew where the other wolves were. She wonders who this wolf was and who he was talking too. She knew the leader of this pack was an old wolf by the name of Joe Holding and his second was a Polynesian fellow named Asoese.

Sam receives a message from Asoese to escort the young woman to the packed house. He looks at her “follow me.”

“Okay.” Sera follows behind Sam.

Sera spots the packed house as they come walking out of the woods. It was about twenty feet up the driveway from them. She loved how the place looked. It was an old rustic looking log hotel.

When Sera walks inside the room, she notices two men, an auburn colored hair woman, and a young teenage boy. She could tell all of them werewolves. As she looked at the teenage boy, she could tell he was recently turned.

Joe, Asoese, and Pauline watched as a young woman with long curly hair, dress in a short dress, wearing mid-calf length boots come walking in.They couldn’t tell what she was, because every time they caught her scent. They were getting a cat, and wolf off her.

Even if she was a mate to someone, she would still have her own scent. This person didn’t, she had two scents that belonged to her. There was no way she was a cat and a wolf at the same time.

“Greeting Alpha Holding and Mrs. Holding. My name is Sera Black, and I was sent by Alpha Sparger. He sent me to escort the person you
informed him about, back to his pack.” Sera wasn’t given all the information, except to escort a teenage boy back to the packed house and turn
him over to Sumner to mentor.

Pauline tries one of her abilities to discover who this person was. When she does, there was a lynx/wolf person staring back at her. She could feel the power that is posted.

Sera directs her gazed over towards Pauline as a small smile appears on her face. She felt Pauline’s power directed at her, but because of Ava’s lynx half. She could feel and block people from seeing what she truly was.

“How is Alpha Sparger?” Joe hasn’t seen him since his daughter got married to a Vreeland.

“He’s doing fine. He’s enjoying having grandchildren.” Between her, Ava and Courtney. They have given him at least eight grandchildren.

She knew his oldest son has only given him three grandchildren. Ava has been getting pregnant each time her heat cycle came around. It also doesn’t help that Courtney put her uterus and ovaries in Ava as well.

Asoese was curious and tried to look at her. What he sees is a lynx/wolf woman looking back at him. There was a smile on her face. He could also feel the energies she gained from them and could see the spiritual cord that binds Sera to each woman.

Asoese sends a mental message to his wife “Jackie, is it possible for cats to place a piece of their souls inside a person?”

“I don’t know, I would have to ask my mother.” Jackie was in her cougar form, giving Kayla an old fashion cleaning.

Jackie thought it would be funny. Her cat wanted to groom her kitten. She looks down at Kayla, who was still in her fox form.

Kayla thought it was weird that her mother was grooming her but just went with it. She liked it when her mother was indifferent cat forms and did strange things. She knew it was the cat side of her mother’s personality that thought of Kayla as a kitten.

“Why are you asking?” Jackie holds Kayla next to her body.

“Because there is a woman up here in the conference room. Her spirit showed a mixture of a cat/wolf woman.” Asoese was curious if there was a reason for it.

“That is strange. I’ll ask my mother and let you know.” Jackie was wondering why as well.

“Okay.” Asoese pays more attention to the conversion going on.

Jennifer was getting better. Her baby was getting better as well. The poor thing had been born with problems, but it’s Were genes kicked in and was slowly healing what problems it had. As for the mother, she had to be healed several times, but it her body decided that it wanted to live.

Kayla looked up and over towards Pauline “mom, just became pregnant.”

Pauline turns to face Kayla “are you sure, Kayla?”

“Yes ma’am. I’m going to have a little brother.” Kayla already knew what her sibling was going to be.

Kristie looks at Kayla “how do you know that?”

“I get glimpses of the future. According to my mother, its part of what I am.” Sometimes, Kayla didn’t like knowing every thing about people and things.

An hour later, Jackie and Asoese come walking out of their bedroom and spot both girls still playing the game. Jackie walks up to Kayla kiss her on the forehead. She was still in her true form.

“Morning sweetie.” Jackie ruffles Kayla’s hair.

“Morning mommy” Kayla smiles at her mother.

Pauline looks at Jackie “welcome to the pregnant women club.” She hugs Jackie.

“Thanks.” Jackie knew that Kayla must have told Pauline, or she picked up on her scent is different.

“So, what is for brunch?” Jackie was hungry.

“Whatever you want.” Pauline didn’t mind fixing whatever Jackie wanted.

By the end of the day, the whole pack knew Jackie was pregnant. They threw a party to celebrate their Alpha and Second being pregnant.
Asoese walks up to his wife “I bet, you never figured this is what your life would be when you ran away.”

“You’re right, but I bet my cat did.” As she kisses him.

Asoese returns the kiss and just hold Jackie. He was glad that she was pregnant and that she was his mate. He watches as Kayla was playing
tag with several pack members. He notices that Kristie was being held by Pauline.

He was happy that his pack was happy.
