“Hey, Tom, wait up!”
“Oh hi, John. What’s up?”
“I heard that Sarah asked you out?”
“Yeah .. I haven’t said yes, yet.”
“Are you nuts? She’s the handsomest girl in the school, why wouldn’t you want to go out with her?”
“Well, it’s just .. I dont have anything nice to wear.”
“Well, we can solve that. Come on to the mall with me, and we’ll find a pretty dress for you.”
“I guess ..”
“What’s wrong?”
“I .. well, have you ever had the feeling that something’s not right?”
“What do you mean?”
“You’re gonna laugh, but I had this dream last night. Everything was kinda opposite. Like boys played football, asked girls on dates, and even wore pants.”
“That’s a pretty strange dream.”
“Tell me about it. And I couldn’t seem to get it out of my head today. Like I actually felt kinda funny about wearing a skirt and makeup to school.”
“But it was just a silly dream, Tom. Dont let it spoil your chance with Sarah.”
“I .. okay.”
“Let’s go shopping.”
