Summertime Girl

What trouble can you get into when you are on summer vacation? I guess it wasn’t trouble, but it was fun.

It all started when mom and dad bought a summer cottage — 5 bedroom, 4 baths, 2 car garage, so really it was more of a house —in Maine on a lake, when I was 8. The house was on 6 acres of land. They bought it during a tax auction and we saw how nice it was. The lake it was on, Togue Lake — togue being a word for brown trout, was a K shaped, 318 acre lake near Sebago.

Besides my mom and dad, I had three brothers 11, 10 and 4 and 2 sisters 9 and 6. I’m Sawyer Sage Madenford. My brothers are William, who is 11, Kyle, who is 10 and David (DJ), who is 4. My sisters are Logan, who is 9 and Sydney, who is 6. My parent’s names are David, who is 37, and Mary, who is 35.

The first time we were going to go to the cottage, mom packed for us. It was Memorial Day weekend and since we didn’t have school on Friday and only a half day on Thursday, mom and dad said we are leaving after school on Wednesday.

While we were in school on Wednesday, mom packed our clothes. Mom put the luggage in the foyer while dad was getting the boat hitched to our Expedition. Mom packed enough clothes for my sisters, which is 2 suitcases each. Mom packed 1 suitcase each for me and my brothers.
When we got home, mom told us to get our suitcases, but I picked up DJ’s suitcase for him and carried it to the car. I thought mom would carry mine, but somehow it was forgotten in the foyer. We packed the Expedition and started to our cottage.

We drove and we were talking about the lake. Dad wanted to do some fishing with us, along with water skiing. We thought about making friends at the lake and having great time. We stopped in New Hampshire for dinner, and then we continued to our cottage.

After we ate dinner, we still had about 2 hours to drive to the cottage. We got off the interstate and headed north on a federal highway for about 25 miles. We then turn onto a dirt road — the first of three — that takes us to the cottage.

When we turned onto ‘Sokoki Creek Road’, we took it for about a mile, crossing a river which flows into the lake, and then we turned right onto ‘Lakeshore Drive’ following the lake’s shoreline, before turning right on ‘Pequaki River Road’, where our cottage is.

We pulled into our driveway and dad said, “We will unpack tomorrow. Just take your suitcases in and I’ll bring in the cooler.”

I was looking for my suitcase, but I couldn’t find it. I told mom that I can’t find my suitcase, so mom said, “Did you put it in the car?”

I said, “I told you if you would take it since I had DJ’s suitcase. I asked you if you would.” I knew William and Kyle’s would be too big on me, but I said, “I guess I’ll have to wear Kyle’s clothes.”

Mom said, “You know they are too big on you, Sage. I know you’ll hate what I’ll suggest.”

I said, “Mom, what is it?” I know I can’t wear DJ’s clothes, so is mom going to suggest Logan or Sydney. I looked at mom and said, “What is it?”

Mom said, “You'll have to to wear Sydney 's clothes this weekend. Nobody knows you, so it might be fun.

Sydney is the most girly-girl person I ever saw. Logan is more of a tom-boy and I know mom didn't pack her a dress, but knowing Sydney , mom packed her a few dresses for her.

I sighed and said, “Mom, this is serious! I can't wear Sydney 's clothes.” Sydney and I are about the same size. “What happened if we meet someone when we are boating?”

Dad said, “Don't worry Sawyer. It won't be that bad.”

I sighed and said, “I guess I'll stick around the cottage. I don't want to be mistaken for a girl!”

Logan looked at me and said, “Sawyer, I bet you'd be a cute girl. Your hair is as long as mine.”

Sydney said, “Sawyer, we could be twins. It would be fun.” Sydney looked at mom and said, “Mommy wouldn’t Sawyer have fun?”

William and Kyle looked at each other, then William said, “We have another sister this weekend?”

Mom said, “William and Kyle, no kidding Sawyer. You two could be beautiful girls, too.”

Kyle and William looked at mom and William said, “We can't kid our new sister? You aren't any fun, mom”

Mom said, “Sawyer, I'm sorry. I thought everything was pack. Your brothers won't kid you this weekend and you and Sydney could be twins.”

I sighed and said, “Okay. I guess we can't do anything about my clothes. Isn't there a Wal-Mart around?”

Dad said, “Sawyer, we aren't going to buy you clothes. Yes, we forgot yours but it isn't the end of the world.”

Sydney said, “We’ll have fun Sawyer. You might like being my sister. Logan doesn’t like to play dolls with me.”

There was no other way, so I carried DJ’s suitcase into the house. I looked around, so mom said, “Sawyer, we are sorry, but it is only for a few days.”

I looked at mom and dad and said, “Mom, I know. I just hope I won’t meet anyone this weekend. I might stay inside.”

Dad said, “No you aren’t we are going to explore the lake. You aren’t going to hide in the cottage. Sawyer, we asked before we left if everything was packed and you said it was.”

Mom said, “Noone will know you are a boy, this weekend, Sawyer. Let me get you ready.”

Mom took me to the bathroom and filled the tub, as she told me to strip. I did and got into the tub as mom washed me. Mom then dried me off, and got me some panties with hearts on them along with a Barbie nightgown.

As I want to the bedroom that was mine, I thought about the briefs I was wearing. It was more comfortable than boys’ briefs. Mom and dad told me night, so I went to sleep.

In the morning, I forgot I was wearing Sydney ’s nightgown, but mom woke me up and said, “Do you want to wear your swimsuit? Or jeans?”
I wanted to swim, so I said, “Could I wear a swimsuit under the jeans, mom. I want to swim, but I’m not going to comfortable wearing just a suit today.” I knew mom was going to ask me something, but how did I sleep, and sure enough, she asked me.

When mom asked me, I said, “I slept fine, mom. What are we having for breakfast?” I could smell pancakes cooking, so I said, “Pancakes?” dad loves making pancakes for us on the weekends, so today dad was going to make breakfast — which is usually pancakes, eggs, toast, orange juice and milk.

Mom said, “We are having pancakes. The boat is going to be launched after breakfast; do you want to go with them? Logan is going with dad to launch the boat. Sydney is staying here.” She hugged me and said, “Let’s get you ready for the day, honey?”

Mom helped me get dressed in a one piece swimsuit, then a pink t-shirt and blue jeans. Mom then got me to put on a pair of lacey socks and pink sneakers. Mom said, “Now, let’s do your hair and you’ll be beautiful.” Mom hugged me as she did my hair. “Now, you’re ready for the day. Want to see how beautiful you are?”

‘No, not really,’ I thought to myself, but I sighed and said, “I guess I have to see how stupid I look. I will be laughed at.”

Mom said, “No, you look like a beautiful young lady.” She led me to the mirror and said, “Sawyer, see how beautiful you are? You look like a girl.”

Mom was right, I did. With the way mom did my hair, and did a ponytail, I look like I could be Sydney ’s identical twin. I thought it was a blow to my ego about being a boy, but I said, “I look like I could be Syd’s twin.”

Mom smiled and said, “I told you that you could be a beautiful girl. Ready for breakfast, honey?”

I walked to the kitchen with mom and Sydney was in her jeans and a pink t-shirt, so we looked like twins. I saw Logan in a pair of tan boys shorts, a black shirt and white and black sneaker, and she looked more of a boy than I did. Sydney said, “We look like twins, mommy!! Don’t we daddy?”

Dad looked at us and said, “Yes, honey, you and Sawyer look like twins. Wow, dear, I didn’t think he’d be that beautiful. Sawyer, How do you feel?”
William and Kyle whistled at me and said, “Wow! He looks like he was a girl.” William looked at Kyle and whispered, “I think we need to keep an eye on Sawyer. The boys might want to go on a date with him.”

Kyle laughed, so Dad looked at William and Kyle and said, “What is funny, Kyle. If you two are making fun of Sawyer, you will be punished.” Dad looked at me and smiled, then said, “Even if he makes a beautiful girl.”

Sitting at the kitchen table, I put my face in my hands and blushed. I then said, “Dad! You are making fun of me. May I have some pancakes please?” I looked at mom who was smiling at me. I looked at mom and said, “What?”

Mom laughed and said, “You were blushing, dear.” Mom got a plate of pancakes and fried eggs, over easy, from dad and placed it in front of me. Kyle poured me a glass of milk, while William pour me a glass of orange juice.

I said, “Thank you.” I then waited for dad and mom to sit down before I eat, since we have prayers before our meals. Soon, dad, with a stack of pancakes on a dish and mom, with dad’s and hers plates, sat at the table.

Dad said, “Would you do the prayers, Sawyer? You really are beautiful, buddy. You look like Syd’s twin.”

I sighed and did the prayer, then we started to eat. As we were eating, dad said that the boat will be launched and when he gets back we can go and cruise the lake.

I had my usual 4 pancakes and my 2 eggs, as we were talking about the day and about the lake. Soon dad got up and William, Kyle and Logan went with him to help launch the boat, so Sydney and I helped mom clean breakfast. Sydney and I put the dishes into the dishwasher, then we helped mom with tidying up.

After, we tidying up the house, Sydney and DJ wanted to go swimming, so I decide to go with them. I knew mom won’t let me stay hidden in the cottage. I went into my room and took off me t-shirt and jeans, then went out and walked with mom, Sydney and DJ, who was in a ‘Cars’ swimsuit. Again, Sydney and I looked like twins as we both had on one piece suits — Sydney in a yellow stripped ruffled one piece and me in the same but pink.

The previous owner made a 150’ sandy beach to the right of the dock. About 100 foot out is a swim raft. Mom told Sydney and me not to go past the end of the dock, so we started to swim as DJ started to make a sand castle.

In about an half hour, dad cruised into the dock with our boat, so mom, Sydney, DJ and me got into the boat and cruised around the lake.

I said that Touge Lake was a K shaped lake, but it does have a few coves and islands. Most of the cottages are summer homes, still closed, but a few are year round homes — like ours is. Though the residents kids might be in school still.

We were cruising the lake, making sure not to hit any logs or submerged objects, when a family cruised towards us. ‘Darn,’ I thought to myself. ‘They’ll think I’m a girl.’

The family, the Yetzers, introduced themselves to mom and dad. They were a year round resident of the lake. Mr. and Mrs. Yetzer, Dan and Lisa, introduced their kids, 14 year old Clay, 12 year old Graham, 10 year old Jarred, 9 year old Ashley, 7 year old Kayla, 4 year old Cooper and 21 month old Chandler , to us.

Logan and Ashley, who were both dressed in boys outfits, which was shorts and a t-shirt started talking while Clay, Graham and Jarred started talking to William and Kyle. Sydney started to talk to Kyla and then Sydney said, “My younger sister is shy.”

‘Younger sister,’ I thought to myself. Yes I know I’m about an inch smaller then Sydney , but me saying I’m YOUNGER than her is upsetting. Sydney said, “We are twins.”

Kayla said, “Friday, is the official opening of the summer season. There are lots of games to play and a cookout. I hope you can come. It is at Clubhouse 4.”

Sydney said, “Mommy, could we go to the cookout at clubhouse 4? Can we, daddy?”

Mom laughed and said, “We might be going Lisa was telling us about it. It would be nice to know some people around the lake.”

The Yetzers cruised back to their cottage, while we cruised around the lake. I wanted to go home — back to our house, not the cottage. I looked at mom and said, “Mom, Sydney called me her younger sister to Kyla. I know I’m smaller and I look like her twin, but I’m still older.”

Mom said, “You are shorter then Sydney , so why not be her younger sister? I mean, mommy and daddy wouldn’t mind.”

Logan said, “Mom, she is our younger sister. I mean this is her first time as a girl, right?”

Mom looked at me and said, “Sawyer, do you mind being her younger sister? Did you say anything to Clay, Graham or Jarred?”

‘No,’ I thought to myself, so I said, “No, they were talking football and baseball with William and Kyle.” I was a klutz at sports, especially baseball and football, so I wasn’t interested in them. I was more into swimming, figure skating and the WNBA. ‘This suit I’m in isn’t that bad,’ I thought to myself.

Mom said, “So would you be Sydney ’s younger sister, honey? Mommy and daddy wouldn’t mind.”

I sighed, and then said, “I guess I will be her younger sister, mommy and daddy.” I was thinking that I am failing as a boy.

We cruised around the lake, and then the Yetzers and another family, who was introduced to us as the Knoxes, came up to us. The Knoxes, George, who was the dad and Bethany, the mom, who were summer residents who came up because of the Memorial Day weekend, had 5 kids — 12 year old Bradley,10 year old Julie, 7 year old Savannah, 4 year old Luke and 10 month old Erika.

Sydney started to talk to Kyla and Savannah , while William and Kyle started to talk sports with Clay, Graham, Jarred and Brad. Logan, Ashley and Julie started to talk, so I was listening to Sydney, Kyla and Savannah talk about dolls.

The Knoxes invited us — and the Yetzers - to their house for lunch. So mom and dad agreed. We cruised towards the Knoxes’ house and tied up at their dock. Looking around, I could see they have a small beach but a pine tree at the edge of the lake with a rope swing.

William, Kyle, Clay, Graham Jarred and Brad started to go off the swing, while Kyla, Sydney, Savannah and me sat in chairs, while our moms asked if ‘us girls’ could watch Cooper, DJ, Luke, Chandler and Erika for them while they get lunch.

I thought I would be upset when mom said ‘us girls’, but I didn’t. I watched them, while Logan, Ashley and Julie asked the boys if they could try the swing. They lets the girls swing off it, but I was watching the younger kids, when Kyla said, “This is like babysitting. Mommy let me watch Cooper and Chandler when she is cooking or doing laundry. Do you watch DJ, Sydney and Sawyer?”

Sydney said, “Not yet, but when we turn 7 in August, we can watch DJ.” I looked at Sydney and thought about her birthday last year. She had a pool party at our house and I bet she would have a party here on the lake. “ Logan doesn’t want to babysit, but we do.”

I just hope Sydney won’t ask mom or dad if ‘we’ can have our birthday party here, as she was telling Kyla and Savannah about ‘our’ birthday party and what we got. One of the dolls that Sydney received, Savannah said that she have it, so she said, “Let me get my dolls and we can play.” Savannah ran into her house, while Kyla listened to Sydney ’s story about ‘our’ birthday party. My birthday party is in June, so I guess I could have it with Sydney .

Savannah and our moms came down with the beach, and sure enough, Sydney asked, “Mommy, can we have our birthday party here? It would be fun having our new friends at it. Can we, please?”

Mom smiled at us both and said, “Would you girls like that? It would be nice to have it up here. We might spend the whole summer here. You girls can invite your friends to the party.”

Sydney said, “We would love it. Wouldn’t be fun, Sawyer?” She saw the doll that she got for her birthday and said, “Sawyer, it is like the one we got. You can play with it.” She handed me the doll.

Sometimes I do play with Sydney , so playing with dolls is not a big deal for me. We all started to play, then our moms said that lunch was ready.

We ate our lunch, as we pretended to feed our dolls, then we swam, before we left for home. Sydney and I were in the bow, wrapped in our towels, when mommy came and sit with us.

Mommy looked at us and said, “Mrs. Knox and Mrs. Yetzer both said that you are very beautiful girls. Mrs. Yetzer said that Kyla is happy another family with girls are here. Kyla said she wishes you lived here year around.

Sydney said, “Mommy, I think Kyla and Savannah will be my bestest friends here. I think Sawyer likes them, too. I want them at our birthday party.”

Mom said, “Kyla already wants you two at her birthday party in June. She is going to have a party at a nice restaurant, then a movie. Kyla invited 8 other girls to go, along with her aunt, uncles, cousins and grandparents.”

I looked at mommy and said, “Mommy, I had fun with Kyla and Savannah .” Really, I did, but will it mean I am failing as a boy, I wondered. I know, I'm a klutz playing sports and when Sydney and I play together, we play with her dolls. Even today, I was having fun with Kyla and Savannah playing with their dolls.

Mommy hugged me and said, “That's good. Mrs Knox and Mrs. Yetzer hope they'll see more of you two. They said that you are very polite.”

When we got home, daddy moored the boat, then mommy got Sydney and I ready for bed, before we had dinner. I was tired, so after dinner and dessert, mommy told us to go to bed.

Mommy tucked me in and kissed me, and then daddy did, too. Mommy said, “Sleep tight, my beautiful girl.”

Mommy woke me up in the morning, and mommy fulled the tub and Sydney and I were bathed by mommy. After, mommy took me to Sydney 's room and started to dress me. Mommy didn't put a swimsuit on my but panties, stockings and a lilac colored satiny dress, then mommy dressed Sydney in the same, but her dress is a pale blue. Mommy then put fancy shoes on me and we went out to the kitchen, Sydney skipping all the way.
Daddy was in the kitchen and looked at us and said, “How are my beautiful girls today? You are ready to go? We are going sightseeing today.” Daddy kissed us on the cheek. Mommy picked me up as daddy picked up Sydney and we were carried to the car.

We were put into our car seat and then daddy started the car. We went to the Knoxes' house, where they, the Yetzers and another family, the Dukes. We were introduced to Mr and Mrs. Duke — Todd and Wendy, and to their kids, 11 year old Chris, 10 year old Courtney, 7 year old Chelsea and 3 year old Steven. Chelsea was wearing a dress, as was Kyla and Savannah so Sydney and I were complemented on our dresses.

I looked at theirs and I said, “Your dresses are nice, too.” Chelsea was in a flower print sundress, Kyla in a satin looking pale green dress with sleeves and Savannah was in a pink colored satin dress. I looked at Logan, who was more boyish looking — jeans and a red polo shirt with boat shoes.

Two more families drove up, so we were introduced to the Mitchells and the Russells. The Russells, Paul and Shannon, have 10 year old Aaron, 8 year old Heather and 6 year old Kimberly, while the Mitchells, Mike and Amy, had 12 year old Adam, 10 year old Morgan, 8 year old Kelsey, 6 year old Alexis and 3 year old Ben.

We were waiting for two more families, so as we waited for them, the Kilbrides and the Hatfields, Sydney and I were told by mommy that it was a tradition of the Knoxes and their friends to have breakfast while up here at a local restaurant.

Sydney and I went up to Mrs. Knox and we said, “Mrs. Knox, thank you for inviting us.”

Mrs. Knox smiled and said, “Girls, you are very welcome. I hope you’ll be here for the summer. There is a lot of things to do here.”

There is the ‘girls’ word again, but I looked like a girl. Truthfully, I don’t mind calling me a girl. Maybe I am. At school, some of the boys kid me about being a klutz at sports.

One of the two families, the Kilbrides, drove up. The Kilbrides were a soon to be blended family — the Kilbrides, headed by a dad who wife was killed with breast cancer. The dad, Peter, have a 12 year old, Peter, a 10 year old girl, Elizabeth, a 9 y/o girl Taylor and a 5 year old girl, Lindsey. Peter, is dating a divorced mom with a 10 year old boy Paxton, an 8 year old girl, Harper and a 4 year old boy London .

We were introduced to them, so Harper, Taylor and Lindsey came and talked to Sydney, me, Savannah and Kyla. We were talking about our dresses and about the summer.

We didn’t wait long for the next family, and the last to drive up. That was the Hatfields. The Hatfields, Patricia and Andrew, had a 13 year old boy, Andy, 10 year old Tori, 8 year of Sierra and 6 year old Leah. Tori, Sierra and Leah came up and started talking to Sydney and me.

When the Hatfields drove up and after we chatted for a bit, we started the drive to the restaurant. While we were driving, mommy turned to me and said, “Honey, are you enjoying it? I heard you talking about your dress and the other dresses.”

In my car seat, I said, “Mommy, I am. I thought I’d look stupid as a girl. Mrs. Knox said that I am so beautiful.”

Mommy said, “Mrs. Yetzer, Mrs. Russell and Mrs. Mitchell all said that you and Sydney are so beautiful. You and Logan aren’t fighting.”

That is true, we aren’t. Usually, Logan wants me to try things that I think would be dangerous, so she is always saying that she was more of a boy then me. I looked at Logan and said, “We aren’t mommy. Logan is not asking me to do stuff she wants to do.”

I was thinking about the past day and really, I was more cooperative to Sydney, Logan and mommy and daddy. I am still worried about what will happen the next time I’m up here, but I’m having fun.

We pulled into the restaurant’s parking lots and we got out. Sydney and I were told by mommy to hold her hand, so we did. At the restaurant, we met 2 more families, the Holts and the Turkingtons.

The Turkingtons, Wayne and Kristi, had 4 kids, 10 year old Dan, 7 year old Sarah, 4 year old Josh and 9 month old Eve. The Holts, dad was Chad and the mom was Susan, has a big family — 16 year old Matt, 14 year old Dylan, 13 year old Edward, 10 year old Jenna, 8 year old Catherine, 8 year old Sabrina, 7 year old Christine, 6 year old Hailey and 15 month old Chad , Jr.

Sarah, Catherine, Sabrina, Christine and Hailey started to talk to Sydney and me, so we talked about the lake, as we walked to the table. We all sat down, with me sitting next to daddy and Sydney, who was sitting next to mommy.

The restaurant was a buffet style restaurant, so Mommy and daddy got Sydney and me our breakfast. We ate our breakfast and then after breakfast, we left, with daddy looking to explore the Sebago lake area, so we said good-bye to our friends.

We enjoyed the day, as we did our sightseeing. Most of the places were still closed, but we did go to Seacoast Fun Park . Mommy took Sydney and I on the Ferris wheel, while Logan, Kyle and William went to try the zip line. Daddy watched DJ.

After the Ferris wheel, mommy, daddy, DJ, Sydney and I played mini-golf, then we went to the arcade. Sydney and I heard comments about how beautiful we are from other park goers.

After we spend time at Seacoast, we stopped at a Wal-Mart. Mommy took me, DJ, and Sydney shopping, while daddy went in another direction. Kyle, William and Logan went to the electronics.

While we were in Wal-Mart, daddy bought 2 18” Next Misty bikes for Sydney and me. Daddy put them in the car, and then covered them up. Mommy bought DJ more clothes, and then we went to the girls department and shopped.

After an hour, we were on the way back and I was in my car seat and I was thinking about school on Tuesday. I really didn’t want to go back.

Mommy saw me thinking about school, so mommy said, “Sweetie, what’s the matter?”

I told mommy and daddy about my thoughts about school. Mommy said, “The Yetzers homeschools their kids. I wonder if you’d like that, honey. You and Sydney can do the same work.”

I wouldn’t mind being away from the school I go to. I have a few friends, but like me they aren’t popular or good at sports. The past two days, I had more fun with Sydney , Kyla and Savannah — and now the others I just met, then with my friends at home.

When we got home, mommy unbuckled DJ, Sydney and me and said, “Would you girls watch DJ? I’m going to bring in the groceries.”

Before, I would told mom I’m not a girl, but after the comments Sydney and I had today, as twin sisters, I don’t mind it. We both grabbed DJ’s hand and we took him into the house, as soon as daddy unlocked the door.

Mommy bought in the groceries as we watched DJ. Mommy, handed us our new dolls and said, “DJ, time for a nap. Girls want to help?” Mommy carried DJ into his room, then we kissed DJ and told him to have a nice nap.

Mommy asked us if we want to help her with a dish for the festival the lake is having, so we said yes. Mommy took us into Sydney ’s room and there were two girl’s twin canopy beds.

I looked at Sydney ’s room and mommy said, “Would my two wonderful girls, like to sleep in the same room?”

Sydney said, “I want my younger sister in here, mommy. We would have fun. Sawyer, wouldn’t we?”

Mommy took off our dresses and put on jeans with pink t-shirt with ‘Barbie’ on it, as I said that it would be nice. Mommy hung the dresses up in the closet and we went to help mommy.

Mommy was going to make two dishes — a ricotta vegetable pie and a blueberry pie. Sydney and I were finishing up the blueberry pie when daddy, William, Kyle and Logan came in.

Daddy looked at us and said, “Are you girls helping mommy? It smells good, so I think you’ll have a hit on your hands, dear.”

Mommy said, “Our girls were big help. They had fun. Didn’t you, girls?” She hugged us, and then said, “Our girls even helped with dinner.”
Mommy helped Sydney and me with dinner, Apricot-Orange Chicken, corn and for dessert, Lemonade Cupcakes. Really, we helped mommy, but we had fun. While dinner was cooking, I set the table.

We ate dinner, then daddy, Logan, Kyle and William went fishing, while we helped mommy bath DJ and then mommy bathed us. We were dressed in our nightgown and fell asleep in Sydney ’s — and now, my — room.

Mommy and Daddy woke us up in the morning as they give us kisses and daddy said, “Morning, girls. How are my girls today?”

Mommy dressed us in jeans shorts and a lilac colored t-shirts, then Sydney and I skipped to the kitchen. There daddy was making eggs so Sydney and I sat in our seats.

After breakfast, we left to go to the Lake Togue Association’s annual ‘Memorial Day Weekend — Welcome Back Residents Festival’ at Clubhouse 4.

Clubhouse 4, the biggest of Lake Togue Association’s 5 clubhouses, has 2 indoor pools, a recreation room, a community kitchen, locker rooms with saunas, an outdoor pool with a toddler pool area, 3 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, mini-golf course, horseshoe pits, volleyball area and a picnic area. The community kitchen has a sitting area with a table, so when we got there, Kyla and Savannah were playing with their dolls, when I saw them, I said, “Hi Kyla and Savannah .”

Kyla said, “Did you see the jumping house, Sawyer and Sydney?? I’m glad you came. We are waiting for more of our friends. We are going to have fun this summer. Too bad you aren’t here all the time.”

Now, if you told me Wednesday morning that I would be dressed like a girl and having fun, I would have laughed. I think now, I would rather be a girl here, then a boy home. I looked at Kyla and said, “That is a nice jumping house. I asked mommy if we could go in it and mommy said we can. Did you help your mommy with a meal? We did.”

Kyla said, “Yes, Chicken Pot Pie and Blueberry Dumplings. Mommy said I’ll be a good cook.”

Savannah said, “Yes, I made Chocolate peanut butter cookies. Mommy made Mac and cheese with 6 different cheeses.” Savannah turned to her mommy, and asked, “Could we have the cookies, mommy?”

Mommy, Mrs. Yetzer and Mrs. Knox were talking when 3 more mommies came in. Kyla and Savannah both looked at 6 girls coming in, so Kyla said, “Yes. They’re here.” They took Sydney’s and my hand and ran toward the 6 girls.

Sydney and I were introduced to the 6 girls. They were Arianna, Zoe and Nicole Jones, who were 7 year old triplets, 8 year old Kendra Bafford, 7 year old Piper Tipton and her sister 5 year old Megan.

We started to talk about summer and about the festival as we were playing with our dolls. After a while, our mommies can over and mommy said, “Would you girls like to go to the jumping house? The party will be starting soon.”

We all started towards the jumping house and we started to bounce in it. After, we had the pot luck meal and then we played with our dolls before we got into our suits to swim.

Daddy saw me in the pool, so he jumped in and said, “Having fun, honey? You have nice friends.”

I told him that I was having fun and we were swimming for most of the afternoon. Sydney and I met 5 other friends of Kyla and Savannah, who were Anna Wacaster, who is 8, Lauryn Tisdale, who is 9, Alison Polander, who is 7, Madison Bowling, who is 6 and Abigail Wagley, who is 6.

I didn’t know it was time to go until mommy told Sydney and me that it was time to leave. We were still in the pool with our friends, so we said good bye to them and I said, “See you tomorrow.”

Mommy took us to the locker room and we got changed and we went home. On the way home, we were talking about the day and I was thinking about the last day as a girl here — Sunday, since we are leaving for home on Monday. I wish I didn’t have to go to school. ‘Oh well,’ I thought to myself, ‘I still have one more day as a girl.’

When we got home, mommy helped Sydney and me into our night gown and we fell asleep.

Daddy came to wake Sydney and me up. When I saw him he took a picture of us in our nightgown. I guess he wanted a picture of me as a girl, since it will the last day — or would it.

Mommy came in and gave us a bath, and then we got dressed in our swimsuits. Mommy said that we are going to take it easy today, so we are going to stay around the house.

Sydney and I were playing in the water and playing with our dolls, but as the day was getting later, I kept on thinking about going home and school. I was having fun pretending to be a girl.

Daddy showed us our new bikes, so I looked at mommy and daddy and said, “I’m a girl, mommy and daddy?”

Mommy and daddy looked at each other and said, “If you want to be when we are here. Are you having a good time? It seem you are?”

Sydney, already on her bike, and riding on the driveway, came into the garage and said, “Sawyer lets ride. Thank you, mommy and daddy.”

The day went all too quickly, with biking and swimming, so soon it was time for bed, and thinking about being a boy. Mommy told us to take a shower, so we did and got into our nightgown and went to bed.

When Daddy woke us up, mommy put us in our jeans we were on Friday. We ate breakfast, cereal, milk and orange juice, then Sydney and I helped mommy tidy up the cottage while William, Kyle and Logan helped daddy. We had lunch, then mommy gave us a bath and put us in dresses. Sydney and I in a light pink satiny dress.

Soon we were on our way home. As we were on the road, I was thinking about the weekend — and my new friends. I looked at my dress and thought t would be nice to wear this to school.

We stopped at a restaurant for dinner, and as usual, people were commenting on how pretty we are. I got used to the comments and I don’t care if I ever wore boys’ clothes again.

I knew I had to, at school, so when I got home, mommy helped me put my dress away and told me to take a shower. I did and I walked into my room and saw my suitcase on my bed. Mom and Dad were in there and they wanted to talk to me.

They told me that I might be happier as a girl, so they wanted to see if they were correct. They said that we might be moving to the lake, if I want to continue to be a girl and if we all like the lake.

I told them that it was fun. They agreed then mom said, “I know you’d rather have panties, but here’s your briefs, honey.”

I put them on, and I said, “I like girl’s panties better, mommy and daddy.” I put on my pajamas, then fell asleep, thinking about tomorrow and school.

When I woke up by my alarm, I put on my dark blue polo shirt and jeans. The jeans weren’t as nice as girls jeans, but I had to endure it for 2 more weeks. Mommy was on the phone with her boss and I knew daddy was already at work. We all ate breakfast and William, Kyle, Logan, me and Sydney started to walk to school. I didn’t want to, but I had to.

I just hope the 2 weeks would go fast…

Summer Girl — 2

As I said, “I hate school”, and now it is worse, since I would rather be a girl. Tuesdays, we have PE and it was kickball. I was picked second to the last, as my friend Gabriel Ackerman, was picked last.

How bad are Gabriel, and my two other friends? I missed the ball when I tried to kick it and fell down. I got up and tried it again, and I did kick it, but it went maybe a foot. That was my best kick of the day.

My other friends, Danny Dudley and Christian Curran, are a little better than me or Gabe, not by much. We get bullied and we are called girls. Of course, I know that I am a girl, but I can’t say anything to my friends, so I can’t wait until school is out!!
At school, during lunch, I talked to Danny, Gabe and Christian and I did invite them over to the house after school. Mom told me that since William, Kyle, Logan and Sydney have friends over, I can’t be dressed as a girl, but she said we might go away on the weekend, since we aren’t going to the cottage. I hope we do.

Anyway, while we were on the playground — in the area for the third, second and third graders — I heard a voice behind me. It was the Oak Meadow Boulevard School bullies — Thomas Fulton and his sidekick, LaQuay DeVeaux.

Thomas, and LaQuay are both in 6th grade, Thomas is 13 and LaQuay is 12. Thomas is the oldest student at Oak Meadow Boulevard, and according to William, dumber than a box of used tissues. Of course, he shouldn’t be in the area where the younger kids play, but if you clone him with an empty coke bottle the bottle might give him brains.

Thomas said, “Oh lookie here, we have a boy who kicks like a girl.”

LaQuan, with his boxers showing over the top of his very loose pants, said, “No, bitches and hors kick better than these sissies.”

Thomas said, “I wonder what these sissies will be doing this summer? I wonder if they are going to hairstyling camp.”

I heard another voice behind him, and it was William. “Now the two assholes. I know your IQ is lower than a first grader, but why are you here” You want to be the oldest kid in first grade?”

Thomas said, “I’m just talking to my man here, and these people are bothering us.”

William said, “Really? Are you sure? I knew you and LaQuan are dumb, but you are minding your own business? And Sawyer, Danny, Christian and Gabe came up to you?” I suggest that you get back to the other part of the grounds. I hate hitting garbage, but I might enjoy hitting you.”

LaQuan, said, “Mind your own business you honkey? What right should they have this part of the building? It should be for us.”

Thomas said, “Yea, what right is it to you? Are we bothering you? Second graders are stupid and dumb, and these dummies are sissies.”

William said, “LaQuan, I could call you the N word, but my dad told me never to say it. Thomas, you and LaQuan are bothering me for being on the same planet — hell, you in the same universe bothers me. Now, as I said before, those 4 are smarter then you’ll ever be.”

Thomas looked at LaQuan and said, “Maidenford, protecting these sissies. What, are you one, too?” They walked away from us, so I said, “Thanks.”

William said, “If you are back here next year, Kyle and Logan will keep you away from trouble. I’m not looking forward to Amagansett Middle School next year.”

William was talking about the school he’ll be entering for 7th and 8th grades. Amagansett Middle is one of the two middle schools in town.

The bell rang for the kindergarteners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders to go back in, so I walked back to Ms. Cooper’s class. Ms. Cooper, my 2nd grade teacher, taught us for the rest of the day.

When the end of the school day bell rang, I was happy to get away from school, Logan and Kyle were waiting for Sydney, who was in 1st grade, and me, so we all walked home together.

Thank goodness Oak Meadow Boulevard School was close to our house, we cross Oak Meadow Boulevard, walked down Red Barn Drive onto Garden Land Road. The neighborhood is called ‘Roberts Farms’ and the street names are farm related. Danny lives with his mom and 2 brothers on Tractor Drive, 3 blocks from us. Christian and Gabe lives on the other side of the school — Gabe with his mom, 1 brother and 1 sister in ‘Elmcrest Park Village’, an apartment complex and Christian with his mom on Cherrywood Drive, in the “Park Forest’ neighborhood.

As we walked Garden Land Road, the street where our house is, we saw a house for sale with a sold sign on it. The house, a Victorian built in 1989, was one of the oldest homes in the neighborhood, and it was owned by the Rabbitt family.

The Rabbitts were an older couple, with older kids, so we didn’t know them but they gave out some of the best candies at Halloween. We continued walking as we waved to some of our neighbors, before we hit our house a 6 bedroom, 7 bath Dutch colonial built in 1993.

Mom opened the door as we came up the sidewalk asking us how our day was. Mom, who co-owns a coffee shop with 3 other people, was usually home when we get home. Dad is a consultant on business startups with a small venture capital firm.

Mom had snacks — cookies and a glass of milk — ready for us as we started on our homework. While we were doing our homework, mom asked about our day.

In about an hour, William came home from baseball practice — tomorrow was the last game for the ‘Oak Meadow Boulevard School Eagles’ — as he was in his uniform. Kyle was on the 5th grade team, but their season ended last Tuesday with a 1-0 loss against the Quabacutt — our rivals in town — Lions.

We live in a small Connecticut city, population 34,804 people. Most of the school names are either named for the town, from people who lived here or from areas of the town. The town is nice with two rivers — the Soggertick and the Clear - flowing through it.
Mom watched us doing our homework, while she was cooking dinner — pork chops, mashed potatoes, peas and for dessert blueberry — blackberry pie. When William came in, mom told him to take a shower, since his uniform was dirty, so he went upstairs and took a shower, then got dressed in a pair of sweats pants and a t-shirt, then came to the kitchen and started his homework.

After we did our homework, Sydney said, “Sawyer, want to play with my dolls? Please?”

I agreed and soon, we went to Sydney’s room to play with her dolls. If you told me last week that I would rather be playing with dolls then trying to learn how to ride a bike WITHOUT training wheels, I would say you were nuts. Yes, I’m an almost 8 year old who still can’t ride a bike without training wheels.

When Sydney and I left, Logan, Kyle and William looked at mom and Kyle said, “Mom, Sawyer is happier being a girl.”
Mom said, “Your dad and I were talking last night about it. He wouldn’t be the first person to change in the family. You know Aunt Denise was once Dennis?”

Kyle said, “So the accidental left behind suitcase was not accidental? What would you have done if he HATED it?” He looked at William and said, “William, you were right.”

Mom said, “His suitcase wasn’t left behind, Kyle. Your dad put it in the boat. I could see the same emotions that Sawyer has when Dennis was growing up. Coming home from school, he used to cry. We decided to see if Sawyer is a girl in a boy’s body.”

Logan said, “Mom, so you saw what Sawyer’s going through when you were growing up? Did you help Denise?”

William said, “Denise is so nice. What was she like growing up as your brother?”

Mom said, “Yes, but we didn’t have the internet until we were teens. I told Denise that she wasn’t the only one — we knew about Rene Richards — but it was still not talked about openly. When Denise had SRS, it fractured the family. My oldest brother, Gary, didn’t talk to any of us for a long time because we supported the change.” Mom looked at William and said, “Dennis is like Sawyer. He loved to play with my dolls, and once he dressed up his GI Joe in a dress.”

William laughed and said, “A Crossing GI Joe. Don’t ask, don’t tell. That must have looked strange.”

Mom said, “She wished she knew that Dennis was unhappy as a boy, but we didn’t have access to computers like you guys do. We had a TRS-80 the whole family used.” Mom looked at Logan, Kyle and William and said, “It wasn’t until a year ago did I get a call from Gary. Gary said he is sorry about being foolish towards Dennis.”

Kyle laughed. He said, “Mom, really? A TRS-80? A Trash 80? Why not an Apple?”

Mom said, “A TRS-80 was the computer back then. Apple was an expensive computer when it came out. Remember, PCs was still new and the internet wasn’t available to the public yet. We had BBS — bulletin Board Systems, but the internet with Skype was in sci-fi land.” She took the pork chops out of the oven and said, “Would you set the table, Kyle? Logan, would you get your sisters? William, tell DJ that it is time to eat.”

Kyle went to the cabinet and got the plates out, then the silverware from the drawer. Kyle looked at mom and said, “Do you think Uncle Gary is over it now, mom?”

Mom said, “I think so, Kyle. Being intersexed is getting noticed. If he isn’t over it, yet, he needs to be. Denise is happy being a mom.”

Denise married a single dad with 3 kids — 2 girls and a boy. We went to their wedding and it was beautiful, with Denise in a gorgeous wedding dress.

Kyle said, “She is, mom. Are we inviting any relatives to the cottage? Ian, wanted to know.”

Ian is a cousin of ours. He lives with my Uncle Ian and Aunt Jane and his brother and sister.

Mom said, “We might invite some of them over. Did you brag to Ian about the cottage?”

Kyle looked at mom and said, “Me? Would I do that?” He then grinned.

Up in Sydney’s room, we were playing with our dolls. We were enjoying it and I thought about the lake and wonder if they’d like me as a boy. I decided to ask mom and dad tonight. I would rather wear girls stuff at the lake. I got Sydney’s Ken doll and saw a dress, so I decided to dress Ken with the dress.

As we were playing, Logan knocked on the door and said, “Sisters, time to eat. Mom wants you down to eat now.”

We left our dolls and went to eat. In the kitchen, dad just came in, so dad said, “How are my girls today. Had a good day?” He kissed us.
Sydney and I sat together and we were talking about how our day went. William told mom and dad about Thomas the bully, so dad said, “I’m glad you stood up for Sawyer, William. I’m glad you didn’t fight. Sawyer, Thomas bugged you the whole year? Didn’t the school do anything?”

I said, “Yes, they suspended Thomas and his gang a few times for bullying, daddy. They just determined to wreck everyone’s life at school and Thomas and his gang don’t care.”

Dad said, “It sounds like Thomas is going to be either in jail or dead by the time he is 18. At my school we had one of those people and he died in jail during a fight. They aren’t worth fighting with.”

After dinner, Sydney and I went to her room and played with our dolls, then after a few minutes, mommy and daddy came in and told us it was time for bed.

I took a shower then went to my bedroom where mommy and daddy wanted to talk to me. Mommy had out boys’ pajamas or a nightgown and girls’ panties. I looked at them and mommy said, “Honey, you can wear nightgowns if you want. We decided to tell you about your Uncle Dennis and Uncle Bill.”

Daddy said, “Honey, we saw that you were getting unhappy, and mommy and I decided to see if we were correct. Mommy saw it when she was growing up with her brother and I saw it with my cousin growing up.”

Daddy continued about Uncle Bill and mommy started talking about Uncle Dennis, both I never met, and we do visit our relatives — on mommy’s side - at least twice a year. Mommy and daddy talked about other things, but they told me that they thought I was a girl, trapped in a boy’s body.

Daddy said, “Your Uncles Bill and Dennis both were the same way, as you. Your uncle Dennis you met, but Uncle Bill died because no one accepted him in my family and he felt alone. Uncle Dennis is your Aunt Denise.”

I looked at them and said, “I am a girl? I want to stay a girl, mommy and daddy. Can I please?”

Mommy and daddy looked at each other and kissed each other, then they kissed me. Daddy said, “Honey, if you want to be a beautiful girl — and you are — you can. We can see that you were happier as Sydney’s twin sister and you were more outgoing.”

Mommy said, “Now, we have to take you to a doctor to check you out, so we might do that tomorrow. We might have your uncles, aunts and relatives up at the cottage, but you can be a girl all the time.”

Mommy got me dressed into my nightgown and looked at daddy. She said, “Honey, we might lose a boy, but we’ll have another beautiful girl.” I had a few questions, so I asked and they answered as best they could.

After the few questions, I knew I can’t tell Danny, Christian or Gabe, that I’m going to be a girl, but I can’t wait ‘til we go to the lake for the summer.

I had another question, but mommy told me that her new daughter needs her sleep, so mommy and daddy kissed me, as they told me night. They cuddled while they left my room.

When they went to the kitchen, dad said, “I guess I should tell my parents that we have a new daughter. I want them to stay grandparents to the kids, but if they still think they will ignore Sawyer while giving the others gifts, I’ll tell them to leave our lives.”

After I fell asleep, daddy and mommy were in the kitchen talking, when the phone rang. Mommy picked it up and it was her brother, Gary.
Gary, who lived about 50 miles from us, phoned mommy to talk. They, before Dennis became Denise, were close, so Gary finally reached out to her after he had a divorce, and he got the kids.

Gary called mommy and daddy for input. He wanted to reach out to Denise, but Gary is upset that Denise is not responding.Mommy told Gary that Denise is still upset at the way he acted.

Gary sighed at said, “You are right, but I have a problem that she could help me with?”

Mommy said, “With what, Gary, I’ll ask Denise for you. You know we are close.”

Gary sighed and said, “Thanks, but I guess it is karma. Please tell her to call me. I need her input.”

Mommy said, “Karma, Gary? What is happening?”

Gary said, “William had a check-up and the doctors told me that he is a she. The doctor said something I couldn’t understand. My son is my daughter?”

Mommy said, “When did you find out?”

Gary said, “We got the news about 4 months ago. William is depressed, and Ken is making fun of him.”

William is 12 and he looks to be 9, while Ken is 11 and he looks to be 13.

Mommy said, “It isn’t karma, Gary. I think William is intersexed. I know Sawyer is.”

Gary said, “Intersexed? What is that? I’m just a dumb mechanic who never went to college.” Uncle Gary is a mechanic at a local auto dealer.

Mommy said, “You aren’t dumb, Gary. You are a great mechanic. You are smart, but you knew what you wanted to do, and you went to vocational school.” Mommy went on to tell Uncle Gary about what intersex is.

Gary said, “Only 1 of 2000 births are intersexed? Why then are William and Sawyer — both related are intersexed. Are we that lucky?”

Mommy said, “Like most things, generics plays a part in families, maybe there’s a gene that cause it. Maybe the 1 in 2000 part is wrong. Who knows, but we have to accept it, or our boys will commit suicide.”

Gary and mommy talked for about another half hour, then mommy told Gary bye and hung up. Mommy then called Aunt Denise and talked to her, and then after they hung up mommy and daddy went to bed.

When mommy woke me up in the morning, she said, “Honey, we have a doctor’s appointment with a Dr. Salwasser. She’ll give you a checkup to see if you are a girl. After we can go shopping? Want to wear a dress?”

I said, “Yes”, so mommy gave me a bath, then dressed me in a purple dress. I was going to be me and Sydney with mommy, so after we got dressed, we headed out to the Dr. Salwasser’s office.

It took mommy about an hour to drive to Dr. Salwasser’s office, then Sydney and I played with dolls in the waiting room, four other mommies were in the waiting room and they commented on how Sydney and I were so beautiful.

Two other kids in the waiting room, 1 wearing pink jeans and a pink t-shirt and 1 wearing a blue dress came up to us and started to play with the dolls, 2 others, both in boys’ jeans and a button down shirt, were playing with trucks.

Soon, Dr. Salwasser, a light brown haired, green eyed female of about 36, opened the door and said, “Maidenford?”

Mommy, Sydney and I went with Dr. Salwasser to an examining room, and mommy helped undressed me. I was getting examined while Dr. Salwasser talked to mommy, Sydney and me. I had an X-ray and a CAT scan and a general physical. Dr. Salwasser drew some blood and then she told me, “You are a brave little girl, Sawyer. I am going to check the results and then I’ll call your mommy. You can get dressed now, honey.”

Dr. Salwasser told mommy some results, so after we left Dr. Salwasser’s office, we decided to have a mommy-daughters day. We stopped at a family style restaurant for brunch.

At the restaurant, the hostess looked at Sydney and me and said to mommy that we are so beautiful, as we went to a booth.

We smiled at the hostess and said, “Thank you” as we curtsied. Mommy looked at us and then at the hostess, who said, “They are so polite. How old are they?”

Mommy laughed and said, “Only at times. They are 6, soon to be 7.”

The hostess said, “My son is a terror and he is 6, but I guess that is what boys are like.”

Mommy laughed and said, “I have 2 boys at home, so I know what you mean, but then my oldest daughter is a tomboy.”

The hostess said, “Oh a mother daughter day with your twins?”

Mommy said, “They had a checkup, so we decided to have a mommy-daughter day. A pitcher of Orange juice, the buffet and coffee for me and, girls, would you like hot chocolate?”

If a week ago you would say I would not complain if I was called a girl, or that I would be out in public dressed like Sydney’s twin, I would say that you were crazy. When mommy asked us girls if we wanted hot chocolate, we both said, “Yes please, mommy.”

We had a big breakfast — some pancakes, waffles and French toasts, then after mommy paid the bill and we headed out — to a mall for shopping.
We went to Sears, JC Penny, Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom’s along with some other stores. We had a good time shopping with mommy and mommy bought Sydney and I matching dresses and other clothes.

After the mall, we decided to hit Kmart, then we stopped at a movie theater to watch a movie. After the movie, we had to go home.

Daddy took us out to dinner, and I had people commenting on me and my twin sister. When I heard how beautiful Sydney was before, I was bored with it, but now I love hearing it, because mommy and daddy said we are beautiful girls.

After we got home from dinner, where William talked about his baseball game, William drove in the winning run, mommy and daddy kissed me good night and I fell asleep.

When I went to bed, after they left my room, daddy looked at mommy and said, “Are we correct? Is Sawyer a girl?”

Mommy said, “Yes, love, we are correct. That is some good news, but I got another bit of good news. We might NOT be losing a son; we might be gaining a son.”

Daddy said, “Logan wants to be a boy?” He smiled at mommy then said, “Or are we having another? Don’t tell me we are having twins.”

Mommy looked at daddy and said, “I won’t tell you we are having twins, because we aren’t.”

Daddy said, “Triplets? Really?” Daddy kissed mommy and said, “They’ll have lots of love. Their twin sisters will love them. Would you love to take the kids out to ‘Sturbridge Village’?”

(Editor’s note: Sturbridge Village is a living colonial village museum in New England and if never been there, you should. Also, another living museum place in New England is Mystic Village. For more info on Sturbridge Village, visit www.osv.org. For info on Mystic Seaport, visit. www.mysticseaport.org. Now back to our regularly scheduled story.)

When I woke up on Thursday, I took a shower and got into my boys’ clothes. I went down to the kitchen to have breakfast.

Mom saw me, so he hugged me and she said, “Honey, only a few more days before you can be a girl for the summer. I know you are unhappy, but just remember that daddy and I love you.”

I said, “I know, mommy. I wish we could stay at the lake. I had fun there. Kyla, Savannah and my other friends are nice to me and Sydney.”

Mom said, “I think they are very nice girls for you and your sister, honey. Now I have your excuse for missing school yesterday. What cereal would you like?”

After breakfast, we brushed our teeth, then went to school, which was, except for a little bit of bullying, was unevenful.

When we got home from school, we did our homework, then Sydney and I went to play with our dolls.

After school on Friday, we were greeted by mommy and told Sydney and I that we need a bath. Mommy gave us a bath, then we each got dressed in a lilac flowered printed sundress, she put ribbon in our hair and said, “You are so cute. Are you ready to go? Bring a few of your dolls.”

We walked out to the car and mommy put us into our car seat, then we headed to Old Sturbridge Village for the weekend.

We drove up to Sturbridge, which took about an hour, so we checked into the hotel. The lady at the desk looked at Sydney and me and comment that we were beautiful, then we got our rooms, William, Kyle and Logan in 1 room, mommy, daddy, DJ, Sydney and me in the other.

We went into the room and then, walk to the McDonalds for dinner. After, we went to the hotel and swam in the pool. Mommy got us into our swim suits, and daddy took us to the pool.

After an hour of swimming, daddy told us it was time for bed, so we got out of the pool and went to get a bath. Mommy dressed us in our nightgown and panties, and Sydney and I went to sleep in the queen sized bed.

The next morning, mommy and daddy woke us up, and mommy dressed us both in light pink sleeveless dress. Mommy put ribbons in our hair, then we went to a restaurant for breakfast.

As usual, Sydney and I got comments on how beautiful we are, so we said, ‘Thank you.’ After breakfast, we drove to the parking lot and with DJ in his stroller; Sydney and I held mommy’s hand as we walked to the admission office.

Old Sturbridge Village, has 3 areas,: Center Village, Mill neighborhood and Countryside. We walked around Center Village where we explored the Fitch House, a representation of a successful printer, his wife and their family.

Sydney and I also liked the Cider Mill, the Salem Towne house, and the town pound. William and Kyle liked the Thompson Bank and the Center Meetinghouse.

We walked around the other two areas and as we did, mommy and daddy took pictures of Sydney and me. In the Mill Neighborhood, Sydney and I loved the Carding Mill and the Bixby house in the countryside.

William and Kyle liked the blacksmith shop and also the printing office, too. Logan like the displays, especially the blown glass, and DJ loved the horses. We spend the day there, until it was closing for the day.

During the walk around the village, daddy showed William, Kyle and Logan — who are major railfans like daddy is — where the route nickname the Titanic Line would have gone. Daddy told the story of the Grand Trunk Railroad’s plan, but the builder Charles Melville Hays, went down with the Titanic. It was the Grand Trunk’s attempt to keep the New Haven Railroad a monopoly on rail traffic.

After the museum closed for the day, mommy and daddy took us to the local supermarket and got sandwiches, as we went on a picnic to a local state park. As we were having our picnic, we talked about Old Sturbridge Village and whether we would like to live back then. We agreed we loved 2013, but it was fun to see it.

After our picnic we went back to the hotel swim for a while, then we went to bed.

Sunday, mommy and daddy woke us up and we took a bath got dressed and went to check out. We decide to do some antiquing, so we went to Brimfield and looked around. After a few hours in Brimfield, we headed back on the road, with a stop to see a lemon tree at Logee’s Greenhouses and then a stop at the Frog Rock, which daddy said used to be a picnic area before interstate 84 was built.

We thought it was a nice place, except for the trash, but then we headed for home. We stopped for dinner at a famous restaurant and we got home at about 7, so we had to get to bed, because of school.

‘What a way to ruin a nice weekend,’ I thought to myself, but I got ready for bed and fell asleep.

When mommy woke me up on Monday, I knew that I had 2 more full days — Monday and Tuesday, before 2 half days — Wednesday and Thursday. I couldn’t wait for the week to be done.

I had to put on my boys clothes and went to the kitchen to have breakfast. Mommy poured my cereal and the milk for it, then handed me my orange juice. After we brushed our teeth and went to school.

Monday was uneventful. Meaning I didn’t get bullied, so I was happy when I got home. I didn’t have homework, so Sydney and I decided to bike around the driveway.

I got my old boy’s bike out, while Sydney was on her old 12” bike, so we ride around the driveway. I was still having trouble balancing, so I need the training wheels, we rode for a while, until we heard the rumble of thunder, so we went in (Sydney and I both hate thunderstorms).

It started to pour, so we went to Sydney’s room to play with her dolls, before Logan told us it was time for dinner. We went downstairs for dinner, then during dinner, there was a big boom and the lights went out.

After dinner, mommy gave us a bath, then put us to bed, since we didn’t have power.

It was still raining, but not as heavily when mommy woke me up on Tuesday. I knew I had PE, so I wasn’t looking forward to it, but I got dressed and had breakfast, while mommy drove us to school.

Yes, I had PE and yes, I again, couldn’t kick, so my team lost in kickball. I knew my leg muscles are weak, but mommy and daddy said it’ll get better as I grow. Do I care about kickball, no, but I had to pretend I did as a boy.

Thomas and LaQuan heard about the kickball game, so they started to pick on me, Danny, Christian and Gabe. We were standing together, when they started to bug us.

That was when 3 girls from our class, Rebecca Marzella, Trinity Dazley and Evelyn Starkebaum, came over and Rebecca looked at us, smiled and said, “You are not perfect. They are trying. What are you doing — NOT TRYING.”

Thomas said, “Jeez, the sissies got girls stick up for them. What a bunch of girls.”

William and Kyle who saw Thomas and LaQuan come over, came over and Kyle said, “Thomas, I know my brother and his friends are better than you would ever be. They got good friends, you got friends who you will lead into trouble. Grow up. You can’t pick on us, because we’ll beat your ass.”

LaQuan looked at Kyle and said, “Why don’t you keep your white ass out of this, before you get in a fight?”

Kyle looked at William, smiled and said, “Did I hear a threat, bro? I thought I heard that this bully is going to fight me.”

Kyle and William both take Tae Kwon Do, but they don’t fight, but they would if need be.

LaQuan said, “Yes, mind your own business, we aren’t bothering you. We hate second graders.”

Kyle said, “You are bothering me. You guys hate second graders?? Why? Is the reason is that they are smarter than you?”

The principal, Mr. St. George, came out and said, “Thomas Fulton and LaQuan DeVeaux, you got 3 weeks in detention. Bullying is not tolerated here. Now move it.” They didn’t move, so the principal said, “You can be spending time in jail if you don’t move.”

Soon they started to the principal’s office, so we all said they’ll be in trouble. I looked at William and Kyle and said, “Thank you. They will be bothering others.”

Kyle said, “Don’t worry, Sawyer. I doubt they’ll bother your friends anymore.”

Rebecca said, “They won’t bother you guys. I will help you guys. Trinity and Evelyn will help, too. You are the best boys in class?”

Kyle and William looked at each other and grinned. I looked at Danny, Gabe and Christian and wondered if they are girls, too.

Gabe was crying and he said, “You don’t mind being friends with us? Really, you might get kidded.”

Trinity said, “Why should we mind being friends. You are nice and you are kind.”

Soon the bell rang so we had to go in, so when we did, Kyle and William looked at each other and Kyle said, “I wonder if Sawyer’s friends are like her? “

William said, “I was thinking the same thing, Kyle. Maybe we should ask Aunt Denise and mom and dad.”

After school, we all walked home and since we didn’t have homework, Sydney and I decided to play with our dolls in her room. Mommy knocked on Sydney’s bedroom door and said, “Girls, how are you dolls? May I play, too?”

Sydney agreed so soon mommy were playing with our dolls, and then after 45 minutes, mommy said, “Time to eat, girls. Are you hungry?”
Mommy took our hands and we went to the kitchen and we set the table. We helped put the meal on the table then we waited for daddy before we ate.

After didder, Logan and William cleaned up, while daddy got DJ ready for bed, before mommy got us ready for bed. After we got in our girl’s pajamas, we played in Sydney’s bedroom before bed.

While we were in bed, Kyle and William came to mom and dad and William said, “We have a problem. Really, not us, but we think that Denise could help someone.”

Mom said, “What is wrong, dears?” She looked at dad and said, “It isn’t you, is it?” She smiled.

Kyle said, “No, mom. As much as we like girls, we don’t want to be one. I wonder if Sawyer’s friends Danny, Gabe and Christian are girls.”

Mom laughed and said, “Oh Good. Your dad and I are glad about you loving girls. Now, you think Danny, Gabe and Christian are girls? We can’t get into peoples’ lives, but you want to help?”

“Do you think Sawyer would like them at the cottage this summer?” William asked. “Of course, it might be worse if Sawyer comes back next year and people find out she is a girl.”

Dad said, “William and Kyle, you might be onto something. They are like Sawyer, but we can’t do anything without asking their parents. I can see that Danny is like Sawyer, but Sawyer told me he never met his dad.”

Mom said, “I met Christian’s, Gabe’s and Danny’s moms a few times, so I might invite them for lunch on Thursday. I want to invite Denise over, too. I might want to see if Sawyer would like a sleepover with his friends.”

William said, “I hope that they’ll be fine next year. Three girls in Sawyer’s class said that they’ll protect them next year.”

Kyle said, “We want to help. If we can help 1 person with intersexuality, we will be happy.”

Dad said, “Boys, lets discuss it with Denise and see what she’ll say. I’m glad you are supporting Sawyer and she will always need her big brothers.”

Kyle and William hugged them, then they both said, “Night. Sawyer is happier now than we ever saw her be.” They left for their bedrooms and went on the net — William to a comic site, Kyle to a model rail site — before they went to bed.

Mom and dad looked at each other and dad said, “Want to see if they are right? I’m glad they are helping Sawyer. We don’t need to worry about them.”

Mom said, “Their answer was nice. They love girls but they don’t want to be one. That is a classic!” Mom went to call Denise.

When mommy woke me up on Wednesday, I hope it would be an uneventful day, and it was. We had an half day, so we — me, Christian, Gabe and Danny — didn’t get bullied. I told them if they wanted to sleepover tomorrow, so they said they’ll ask their moms, so I am glad they’ll be over.

When we got home from school, we had lunch - tomato soup and a toasted cheese sandwich — then Sydney and I wanted to play with our dolls, but mommy wanted us to play outside, so we decided to bike on the sidewalk since Logan and DJ wanted to bike, too.

We — with DJ on his trike, Sydney on her 12 inch Huffy Barbie bike, me on my 12’ Cars bike and Logan on her Mongoose Fling 20 inch bike - went the sidewalk on Garden Land Road, then we turned onto Red Barn Drive, then right on Tomato Drive. We then bike up Tractor road, where I saw Danny on his bike — a 16” huffy with training wheels.

Danny and I talked for a bit then we all biked to Paddock Circle, before Danny told me that he’ll be sleeping over tomorrow. We rode down Paddock to Onion Court, before we hit Jersey Road. At Jersey, we turned around and rode back to Danny’s house.

Danny, at his house, said that he’ll see me at school, then we rode back to our house, where mom had a snack for us waiting outside on the patio.

After our snack mommy let us get into our suits and played in the pool. The pool was just a small — 13’ by 39” — inflatable. DJ was playing with his boats, while Sydney and I were playing with our dolls. I was in my girls’ suit and enjoying the water.

We were still in the pool, when daddy came out in his suit, along with mommy, so daddy was playing with us and mommy was laughing. Soon mommy got out and dried off and went in to get dinner, which was just tuna salad and chicken salad. We ate on the patio, then we went back to the
pool.

After about an hour after dinner, mommy told Sydney and me that it was time for us get ready for bed. So Sydney and I were bathed and we got into our girl’s pajamas before we fell asleep in our bed.

As I was falling asleep, I thought 1 more day of being a boy.

Summer Girl 3

Before Sydney and I went to sleep, Sydney asked mommy if she could invite 4 friends for a sleepover, also. Mommy said that she could and mommy said that we might need to wear ‘GoodNites’ for our sleepover. Sydney and I — along with DJ — still wet, but we don’t mind. Sydney and I were playing with her dolls, so mommy looked in Sydney ’s closet and took out 2 ‘GoodNites.’ Mommy looked at us and asked,“Would my girls like to wear their ‘GoodNites’ to bed? Sydney , we got to get some more.”

Sydney looked at me and said, “My younger sister and I will both wear them, mommy. Could we please have some milk, mommy?” She went to her bed and laid on it, so mommy could take off her panties, so I did the same. Mommy looked at us and said, “My baby girls are beautiful. I think they need to go to bed. Sydney , it is past your bedtime. You two should be in bed at 7:15. Do you mind if you and your baby sister go to bed at 7:15?” Mommy pulled down the shade and went to get two glasses of milk for us to drink.

When mommy came back, Sydney said, “My baby sister and I would have a 7:15 bedtime, mommy. Would you like that, baby sis?” Sydney looked at me.

I looked at mommy, nodded and said, “Yes, mommy. I would like a 7:15 bedtime, mommy.” My old bedtime was 8, so it doesn’t matter.

Mommy tucked in Sydney and kissed her good night. As mommy and I were leaving, Sydney wanted a glass of water, so mommy filled up her milk glass and gave it to her. Mommy said, “My baby daughter wants to wet her diapers, don’t you?” Sydney giggled, so mommy and me kissed her as she said, “Yes, mommy.” Mommy picked up her glass and my milk glass, told me to held her hand then shut off the light, and her night light came on. Mommy shut the door and we walked to my room.

Mommy tucked me in, pulled down my shade and kissed me good night, so I asked mommy for a glass of water. Mommy smiled at me and said, “I know my baby girls want to wet their ‘diapers’ tonight.” She went and filled my milk glass then handed it to me. I drank it, as mommy said, “My baby girls are going to wet their ‘diapers’like good babies. She then kissed me and left the room. Mommy shut off my light and my night light came on and I fell asleep.

Mommy came downstairs and saw daddy on the sofa, so mommy sat next to him and they started kissing. They talked about their day, then about the lake. Daddy, having heard about Sydney ’s sleepover request, smiled and said, “I guess Sydney and Sawyer would like sleepovers at the lake. Are you going to talk to Gabe, Danny and Christian’s moms? I hope they’ll have an open mind about it. Who does Sydney want to invite? Do you want to live at the lake year round? Kyle and William said that it would be nice; Logan asked if she can have a sailboat, so she’d be happy with it. The boys want a nice ski boat.”

Mommy looked at daddy and said, “If Sawyer does come back here, we might have to take her to a new school. It might be nice to live at the lake. How about your job? I should call Denise and their moms. I just hope they’ll listen.” She looked at a Target ad and then said, “I guess I should call them now. Sydney wants to invite Peyton, Emily, Hanna and Grace to her sleepover. I told the girls that they might want to wear ‘Good-Nites’for the sleepover. They are in them now. I think they’ll be wet when I wake them up tomorrow. Each of them wanted a glass of milk and water each.”

Daddy laughed and said, “I think besides the new triplets, we might have 2 baby girls, also. I was thinking about opening an office in Portland . I’d be hiring about 3 people who would be at the office and open a branch in town, but I’d be working mostly at home.” He kissed mommy and said, “How about you? Did you tell your partners, yet?”

Mommy kissed daddy and said, “Yes, I told them that I’m retiring from the business because of our triplets. Are you going to call your parents? I need to call Sydney ’s friend’s mom and invite them to lunch at 11 tomorrow. Do you mind if Sydney and her baby sister are babied?”

Smiling, daddy said, “I don’t mind. We won’t hurt them, since they want to be babied. I should call my folks about their new granddaughter.”Daddy got up from the sofa, helped mommy up then said, “I guess you are going to talk to the moms now and Denise, too.”

While mommy and daddy were talking downstairs, Kyle and William were in their room, when Kyle, reading ‘Trains’, said, “William, do you think Avery is a girl in a boy’s body? Avery is just like Sawyer.”

Kyle was talking about their friend, Avery Aarsvold, who was 10, but wasn’t into sports, but he did like BMXing, fishing and camping.

William, reading ‘Sports Illustrated,’ looked at Kyle and said, “It is not uncommon to be intersexed so who knows if he is. Last year, when Andrew went trick or treating as a girl, he was jealous that Andrew was. I think he knows he is. I hope he’ll be at Bryce’s sleepover. Are you going to call Bryce to see if Avery will be there?”

Kyle looked at William and said, “Ok, my phone is charging. Could I use yours? I’ll text him.”

William looked at Kyle and said, “Want to talk to mom and dad about it? I think Avery is. I will still like him.”

Kyle said, “I think we should. Let’s see if he'll be at the sleepover. Could you hand me your phone?”

William handed Kyle the phone then went back to reading as Kyle texted Bryce. In a few minutes Bryce texted back and told them that 10 people will be there — Jacob, Andrew, Spencer, Zane, Arthur, Quentin, Mike, Weston, Jim and Zack.

Kyle said, “Ten people will be there. They are Jacob, Andrew, Spence, Art, Quentin, Mike, Wes, Jim and Zack. Bryce said that Avery, Aiden and Chase can't make it.” He texted Avery about why he won't be at Bryce's sleepover and he sent back a text saying that he never been to a sleepover yet. Aiden and Chase said the same thing. Kyle texted Bryce and wrote: 'I think I know why they aren't coming? We won't mind if they are. I hope they aren’t ashamed they wear them.'

Bryce texted back: 'You think they are?. I'll text them. Y R U on ur brothers phone?'

Kyle texted back: 'Mine is charging. I hope they'll sleepover. They are nice.' Kyle handed the phone to William and said, “Bryce is going to see if they will sleepover. You ready to talk to mom and dad?”

William said, “Sure. I hope we can help Avery. I hope he'll visit us at the lake.” They got out of their room and went to see their parents.

They went downstairs where mommy and daddy were relaxing in the living room. They looked at mommy and daddy and said, “Could we talk to you? Sorry, if you are busy?”

Mommy and daddy looked at William and Kyle, and daddy said, “What’s wrong, you guys? You know we are NEVER too busy for you.” Mommy patted the sofa to tell them to sit.

They sat down on the sofa and started to talk about their concern with Avery, so mommy and daddy told them that Avery might be. They talked it over and then Kyle and William told mommy and daddy night and they went upstairs to their bedroom.

Daddy and Mommy looked at each other and they discussed it. Daddy said,“Avery might be like Sawyer. Whenever he is here he has that feminine style. I guess we should talk to his parents someday. Maybe before we go up to Maine , we should have Denise come here to talk about GID.”

Mommy said, “That is what I’m going to have her talk about tomorrow if it can be arranged. I’m going to call them, including Sydney ’s friends’ parents. It should be a nice meeting.” Mommy went to call, while daddy went to talk to his parents about me.

Mommy got all of the moms to meet her at a downtown bookstore-café called‘Books& Bean’. Mommy went to the living room, where daddy was waiting, so daddy said, “They are confused, but they aren’t upset. Carl called them a few days ago with the same problem, Skyler. They wished they would have helped Bill instead of thinking that it was a phase. They hope they’ll be invited to the cottage, so I said they can. They want to see their new granddaughter.”

Mommy looked at daddy and smiled. She then kissed him and said, “We all are going to meet at ‘Books &Beans’ at 10:45. Denise will do most of the talking, since she knows what she went through.”

Daddy said, “She is also the professional, so she should talk about it. I just hope that they’ll have an open mind. Did you tell Pat, Allison, Sophia and Ellen about the meeting issue?” Pat, Allison, Sophia and Ellen are the mommies of Sydney ’s friends who’ll be sleeping over.

In William and Kyle’s bedroom, William texted Bryce, who texted back:‘They’ll be at the sleepover. Mom said that I should have told her that I ran out, but she told me to wear Amy’s.’ Amy was Bryce’s little — by 5 minutes — sister. Bryce texted: ‘Mom said she might get some, since Amy is running low.’

William replied: ‘Ok. No problem. C U 2morrow @ skool’ He shut off his phone and plugged it in, then looked at Kyle and said, “They’ll be at the sleep over. We might be in Amy’s GNs.”

Kyle said, “No problem then. I hope they will visit us at the lake.”Kyle yawned and said, “Night.”

In the morning, mommy woke me up. I was glad that school will be over, and I’m glad that my friends would be sleeping over tonight, but I can’t wait until we get to the lake, so I can be a girl.

Mommy said as she woke me up, “Sawyer honey, time for school. Did you have an accident? Sydney did, too. That’s ok. I think you want to wet. Take a quick shower. Hurry, honey, you don’t want to be late for school.” Mommy took off my very soaked ‘GoodNites’ and then patted my naked rear end as I went to take a shower.

I took a quick shower then got dressed into my boy’s briefs, blue jeans, a light green polo shirt and white socks. I came out of my room as Sydney was coming out of hers, so wewent downstairs. Sydney was dressed in a pale lilac satin dress with her hair in a braid. I was jealous that my twin was in a beautiful dress, but I said, “Sis, you look very beautiful. Wish I had on a dress.”

Sydney looked at me and said, “As a boy you look nice, Sawyer, but I know you’d rather be in a dress.” She hugged me as we let Logan, who was in a jeans and a polo shirt, pass us.

We all ate our breakfast and after we brushed our teeth, we — William, Kyle, Logan, Sydney and me - headed to school. When we left, mommy got ready for her meeting.

At 10:30, mommy walked into ‘Books & Bean’, and got a table in the café. Mommy put 3 tables together and ordered a small iced tea. Soon, Aunt Denise came in, and then at 10:40, Pat McAvoy, the mother of Sydney ’s friend Peyton and Alison Good, mother of Sydney ’s friend Emily, came into the store. They saw mommy so they waved and went to the table after ordering coffee.

Mommy introduced Aunt Denise to Mrs. McAvoy and to Mrs. Good, then Sophia Yannicosta, the mother to Sydney ’s friend Hanna and Ellen Worley, the mom to Sydney ’s friend Grace, came in. They saw mommy, so they ordered their drinks, then went to the table. Mommy introduced Aunt Denise to them.

Aunt Denise told them about my sleep over, along with the experiment. Aunt Denise talked about me, so Alison said, “Oh, to me it isn’t a big deal. My youngest brother, who is almost 17, has GID. I’m glad you are helping them. My parents are supporting Kelsey. Emily thinks Kelsey is her youngest aunt.”

Mommy said, “When Dennis and I were growing up, I see the same that Sawyer, Gabe, Danny and Christian is going through. Alison, I hope you’ll give your insight to this sensitive issue, too. Oh, here comes Lucy Ackerman, Christine White and Jill Curran. They are Gabe, Danny and Christian’s moms.”

Mommy introduced them to each other and then said, “Lucy, Christine and Jill, I came to tell you about Sawyer. My sister, who is a psychologist, can explain it. Seeing Sawyer and his friends, I’m looking at Denise when she was growing up. They are unhappy, but they are great friends. I hope you’ll forgive me for what I will be saying.” Mommy looked at Aunt Denise.

Jill, looked at mommy and said, “Is someone wrong with Sawyer? I hope not. He is polite.”

Mommy said, “Thank you, Jill. No, nothing is wrong with Sawyer. He might be happier, now.”

Aunt Denise said, “He is polite. Sawyer has the same thing that I have when I was growing up, GID. GID is not fatal. Growing up, I couldn’t do sports, or other boys things. I was a klutz. Boys kidded me, and after school, I was upset. I came home, ran into my bedroom and cried. Mary and David, Sawyer’s parents, can see the same mannerisms that I had growing up with Sawyer and they can see it with Gabe, Danny and Christian.”

Lucy looked at Denise and said, “You are a girl, why…” She looked at her then said, “You were born a boy??” Lucy blushed, then said,“I can’t believe you were a boy, Denise.” Lucy looked at mommy and said, “You can see something about Gabe that I can’t see? You must think I’m a bad mom.”

Denise said, “Thank you, Lucy. Yes, I was born a boy. I hated the fact that I was. I used to sneak into Mary’s room to try on her clothes. David lost a brother, because of it, and they want Sawyer to be happy. They think Gabe, Danny and Christian have GID, too.” She drank some water and said, “I’m not telling you how to raise them, but are they happy? No, Lucy, Mary see me in him.”

Mommy said, “Lucy, you don’t see the symptoms, so you can’t see what David and I see.”

Christine thought about what Denise said, so she said, “Danny comes home from school upset and his brothers love to pick on him. I thought it was just his way. Danny woke up wet today and his brothers were kidding him and he cried. How can I be sure he has GID?” Christine looked at mommy and said, “Mike and Joe said that Danny should not be at the sleepover when they heard he wet.”

Mommy said, “I have some ‘Good-Nites’ and ‘Pampers’ for the sleep over. Sydney wets and so does Sawyer. I would like all of them wear diapers for the sleep over.”

They all discussed the diaper option and they agreed that they should wear them. Sophia said, “Hanna, wets about twice a month, so I think she would wear them.”

Denise opened her laptop and said, “Christine, I’d Google‘INTERSEXUALITY’ and GID for information. Locally, I would recommend Dr. Salwasser for a check-up. When my patients have troubles I tell them to visit her.”

Lucy, sighed and said, “I thought it was me. Being a single mom, I come home to a crying and upset Gabe. His brother and sister don’t help matters. I wish I had someone who would date me, but I’m old.”

Denise looked at Lucy and said, “Lucy, you are not old. You are beautiful. I have a wonderful man for you, my brother-in-law. He is a single parent with 3 boys and a girl. Christine, you should date my brother, he is an owner of an auto repair shop. Both of them are in the same predicament.”

Alison said, “Does Sawyer and Sydney play together, Mary? I think Denise will help them. As I said before, Emily will be at the sleep over. What should she bring?” She looked at Denise and said, "They have intersexed kids?"

Pat said, “Peyton will be there. I’ll see if she’ll bring her old dolls over to your house. What should we have them bring?”

Mommy said, “Pat, Sophia, Allison and Ellen, have them bring swimsuits and dresses. We might go out to bunch tomorrow. Christine, Jill and Lucy, give me their size and I’ll get them what your ‘girls’will need, ok? Sawyer will be dressed as a girl when they come over. Alison, at the lake, Sawyer and Sydney have some girls they play together with. They play together whenever Sydney wants to play house. Logan doesn’t play with Sydney . Logan loves to climb trees."

Denise said, "Yes, they do. My brother told me that he needed my help yesterday. He didn't want his brother 'Dennis' to become 'Denise'. When I did, he hated me for it. A few nights ago, he told Mary that it was Karma, but really it was generics." She handed out her business card and said, "If you need more info, call me or go to my website."

Lucy said, "Do you think our 'new' girls would ever have a chance to be a bio-mom?" She looked around, but then said, "I was watching PBS about new technologies on getting pregnant, so I wonder if they'll ever do a uterus from stem cells. That little girl got a windpipe from her own cells."

Denise said, "Who knows what the future would bring, but I bet it'll happen in the not so far future. Maybe doctors could make a uterus from the stem cells. I bet most of 'new girls' would love to be mothers. I love being a step-mom and someday I wish I could have my own."

They talked for a few more minutes, with Lucy, Christine and Jill giving mommy Gabe, Danny and Christian's clothing sizes, then said that their new 'girl' might be happier.

Aunt Denise said, “Maybe I was wrong to say that GID is not fatal. GID is fatal to the gender you were born with, I guess. Most of my patients are boys, but I do have a few girls who are becoming boys.”

Lucy, Christine and Jill laughed and they all said that they’ll talk to their ‘girls’ about the sleepover.

Mommy left 'Books & Bean' and picked us - William, Kyle, Logan, Sydney and me - up at school, then DJ at his babysitter. We dropped William and Kyle at Bryce’s house then we went home. We, Sydney and I, were told that we needed to get ready for the sleepover, so mommy filled up the bathtub, and we were given a bath by mommy. Mommy dressed us in diapers then we were both put into lilac colored sundresses. Mommy put our hair in pigtails with lilac colored ribbons. Mommy said, “My baby girls are so cute. Want to see how cute my girls are?”

We both looked in the mirror and we both clapped. Sydney said, “Mommy, my baby sister is nice. I love my sister!!” I looked at mommy and smiled. I then hugged my sister.

Mommy gave us pacifiers, and then we — with DJ, who was also in diapers and a t-shirt - headed out to the car. Mommy put us all in our car seats. Mommy got in the driver’s seat and started to go to Target. Mommy said, “We need to get things for the party.”

Sydney and I did not know that Daddy was at home putting some cribs in the great room that we have in the basement. Mommy took us to Target, not in our town, but the Target 6 miles away. Mommy parked the car, then got a cart and put us — DJ, Sydney and me in it.

DJ was in the cart seat and my ‘big sister’ and I were in the basket. Mommy went to the baby department, to get some size 4, 5 and 6 ‘Pampers’, Pampers ‘Splashers’ and ‘Pull-Ups’. Mommy put some bottles into the cart along with jars of baby juice and baby food.

Mommy went to the girls department and thought mommy was getting some more dresses for us, then we went to the boys department to buy DJ some play clothes. After the boy’s department, we went to the toy department, where DJ got 2 trucks, a ‘Brio’ wooden train set and a plastic toolbox. Mommy got some dolls — a few Barbie dolls—Bridal set and Tennis Champion, ‘Sofia the First’ Tea For Two, Magical Talking Castle, Sofia and animal Friends and the ‘Buttercup Troop’ Sofia, WinX ‘Bloom’, Little Mommy ‘Head of the Class’,‘Kitty Rock’, ‘Bubbly Bathtime’ and ‘Swing n’Highchair’,and Our Gen ‘Phoebe’ and ‘Lily Anna’ dolls.

We then went to the Entertainment Department and got some videos. DJ got some ‘Diego’ and ‘Thomas’ videos, while we got 5 Barbie videos — ‘Pink Shoes’, ‘Diamond Castle’, ‘Island Princess’, and ‘Mermaid Tales 1 and 2’ — along with 3‘Strawberry Shortcake’ videos — ‘Berry Friends Forever’,‘Berry Big Journey’ and ‘Berry Brick Road’.

Mommy looked at the time and said, “My babies are so quiet. They love making mommy happy. We got to go to the supermarket and get the party food.” We were asleep and we all had our diapers showing.

Mommy took the cart to the cashiers, where a young lady, who was pregnant, was at the register. The cashier looked at mommy and said, “You have beautiful kids. How old are they?”

Mommy smiled, looked at us and then said, “They are 3 years old. Thank you for saying they are beautiful. They can be a handful when they are not asleep. When are you due?”

The cashier said, “Triplets? How can you manage? I have a four year old and he runs me ragged.” She pointed to her stomach and said, “I hope this one will be better. She is due in 3 weeks.”

Mommy said, “My husband helps. So does our boys. They are a handful, but we love them.” Mommy paid the cashier, who said, “Thank you for shopping at Target.” Then we went out into the parking lot.

Mommy put the bags in the car then took us into the supermarket. Mommy bought us 2 cakes, 5 bottles of sodas — root beer, Cream, Fruit punch, Cola and a store brand Dr. Pepper, a gallon of milk, some juices — orange, fruit punch, apple and grape, 2 half gallon cartons of vanilla ice cream and more baby food. Mommy then went to the cashier and checked out. Soon, we were in our car seats going to Wal-Mart.

Sydney woke up and said, “Mommy, I’m hungry. Can we get a happy meal, please?”

Mommy saw a McDonald’s up ahead, so she drove through the Drive-thru and got us each a Happy Meal — 2 girls and 1 boy Happy Meal. We ate it while mommy drove us to Wal-Mart.

Mommy saw a family cart, so Sydney and I sat in the cart’s seat, while DJ was in the basket and we went to the toy section and bought more dolls — Barbie ‘Sister Fun Photo’, ‘Fun Prize’, ‘Glam Pool’ and ‘Ken Beach’.

Mommy went to the baby section and looked around. Mommy bought some crib sheets, baby food and pacifiers. We then went to the cashiers and mommy paid for the merchandise.

We went to the car and mommy looked at her watch, then said, “I have some stinky babies here. Mommy is happy with her babies.” We got put into our car seats, and then mommy drove us home.

When we got home, mommy took off DJ’s pants and shirt, then tucked him into his bed in his wet diaper. Mommy kissed him and said, “I’ll change you after your nap, honey.” DJ looked at mommy and said,“Night-night, mommy.” DJ then hugged mommy and us, too. Mommy pulled down his shade and turned off the light, leaving the night lighton. Mommy looked at us, grabbed our hands and left DJ's room. Mommy shut the door as we left his room.

Mommy looked at us. She said, “My baby girls, are so beautiful. Honey, you are going to take naps with Sydney . Ok, honey?”

Mommy took Sydney and me to Sydney ’s bedroom, took off our dress and stockings and put us in Sydney ’s bed. “She tucked us in and kissed us, then said, “Mommy will change your diapers after your nap. Mommy and daddy want you to have naps every day.” Sydney looked at me and said, “Ok, mommy. We will take naps everyday. I'm the big sister, so my baby sister needs a nap, too.” I looked at mommy and said, “Yes, mommy I nap.” Mommy smiled and kissed us and said, “My baby girls are wonderful. Your big sister needs a nap and so the baby sister.” I really don't mind taking naps. I used to take naps when I was 6.

Mommy pulled down the shade then turned off the light, leaving just the night light on. Mommy shut the door as she left.

Mommy went down to the great room and saw the cribs that daddy assembled. She put sheets on the cribs then put crib mobile on the cribs. ‘My baby girls will love being babied this summer,’ mommy thought to herself.

While we were shopping, at Bryce’s house, William, Kyle, Bryce, Jacob, Andrew, Spencer, Zane, Arthur, Quentin, Mike, Wes, Jim, Aiden and Chase were in his bedroom playing with Bryce’s X-Box while waiting for Avery and Zack. Aiden and Chase are still unsure about being at the sleepover, because they sleepwets, but they didn’t know the others does it, too.

Aiden looked at his friends and sighed. He then said, “Thank you for inviting me to the sleepover. I shouldn’t accept thou.”

Bryce looked at Aiden and said, “Why not? I think you are great. I hope you’ll be at more sleepovers with us, Aiden.”

Jim said, “Aiden, why shouldn’t you accept the sleepover invite?”He looked at Quentin and said, “Why would he shouldn’t be here?”

Quentin said, “I’m glad he is here. I told you that he is cute. Not as cute as you, Jim.”

Aiden blushed, but he didn’t say anything.

Chase looked at them then put his head down and looked at the floor. He sighed and said, “You’ll hate me after tonight. I wanted to fake a sickness so I wouldn’t come. My mom said that I should tell you guys my problem.”

Weston looked at Chase and said, “Problem? Are you gay? No biggie here, Chase. Some of us are gay or bi.” He looked at Jim and Quentin and smiled.

Chase said, “I’m gay. But that is not the only problem. Are you gay?”

Kyle looked at Chase and said, “Is your problem sleepwetting, Chase? If it is, it is not a big deal. William and I still wet. Chase got a boyfriend, yet? You are cute, Chase.”

Chase looked at Kyle and answered, “My mom knows I’m gay. So does my step-dad and my brother and sisters. I don’t have a boyfriend, yet. Who wants a sleepwetter for a boyfriend. By the way, thank you for saying I'm cute.”

Andrew looked at Chase smiled and said, “I wouldn’t mind have a sleepwetter as a boyfriend, Chase. You are cute. Ever since September, I wanted to talk to you. You seemed that you didn’t want anybody. Even girls said you are cute.”

Chase looked at Andrew, smiled and said, “Really? I saw you hanging around with some girls, so I knew you were cute looking, but with the girls hanging around you, I thought you were straight.”

Andrew laughed and said, “The girls are my friends. They know I'm gay, so they know I won't hit on them. We like to talk about boys and other things. They are a few gay and bi people here..”

Chase said, “Darn it I wasted a year.” They all laughed at that.

Andrew said, “We have this summer, Chase. Hang out in just diapers at my house.”

Chase said, “Your mom knows you wear go outside in just diapers?”

Andrew said, “Yes, Our backyard is private. It backs up to a state forest. We have a big play yard. Mom and dad sees me in my diapers. Even in the winter I go outside in them.”

Aiden looking around the room smiled and said, “Bryce, you mom doesn’t mind you in them? Won’t she get mad seeing your friends in them? Wouldn’t she be upset that you are in girl’s diapers?”

Bryce laughed and said, “No Aiden, my mom won’t be upset. Mom and dad had seen my friends in diapers since I was 6. Of course, mom forgot to get me my ‘Good-Nites’, so we’ll have to use my sisters tonight. No biggie on wearing Amy’s, since she wears mine if she runs out. Mom and dad know I try to stop wetting, but I know I might get worse. My 14 year old cousin wears diapers 24/7 so I might have to, also.”

Chase said, “You guys all wet? When I moved here I hope I would be invited to a sleepover, but I never did. At my old house, mom told me that I should. I was afraid that you’ll hate me. That’s why I never had too many friends at my old school.” He looked at Kyle and said, “Are you gay? I don’t have a boyfriend.”

Soon the doorbell rang, so Bryce said, “That is Avery and Zane. I think we need to get into our ‘GoodNites’ soon. I think Avery is scared. Who will be first?”

William and Kyle looked at each other and they pulled off their pants. They grabbed Amy’s ‘Good-Nites’ and put them on. They looked around then Kyle said, “Okay, who will be next?” They left their pants off.

Bryce said, “I got them on.” He pulled off his pants and said, “See? I put them on after school.”

Chase said, “Since you are going towear them, I will. Mom told me that I should, but I thought I would be the only one.” He looked and saw that James was putting Quentin in his ‘GoodNites’ and Jim kissed him. After he put on Quentin’s, he put his on. Jim handed Quentin a pacifer.

William said, “I think the only person who is dry at my house is Logan . 5 million people are bedwetters , so it is common. Chase, it nice to have friends who wets.”

Spencer took off his pants and put on them and said, “Who cares if we are bedwetters. I like wearing them during the day when I can.”

Chase said, “I hope it’ll help me. I’m a heavy wetter.” He sighed and said, “My brothers calls me a flood when I wet.” He looked at his friends openly wearing the diapers, so he left his pants off. He felt the diaper and said, “I might ask mom to get me some.”

Kyle said, “If you are a heavy wetter, try diapers, Chase. Bryce, could I borrow your notebook? I want to show Chase something online.”

Bryce looked at Kyle and said, “Is it a diaper site, Kyle? Or is it a gay site? Either of them are bookmarked.”

Kyle said, “Diapers. You know where there are great stories? I want to show Chase some products for bigger kids. I should show Avery something later, too.”

Arthur looked at the “GoodNites’ on him and said, “Diapers are better than ‘GoodNites’. My mom likes cloth better than disposables. I wet about 3 or 4 times a week.” He looked around the room and saw that they all were either in shirts and ‘GoodNites’ or just‘GoodNites’.

The door to Bryce’s bedroom opened and Avery and Zane came in. Zane looked at the boys and said, “You guys getting ready already? I thought we would be swimming. You going to swim in them?” Zane looked at the ‘GoodNites’ and said, “Girl’s‘GoodNites’?Cool.” He took off his pants and put them on.

Bryce smiled and said, “My mom wouldn’t mind if we swam in them in the pool. Let’s swim.” He looked at Kyle and said, “You can later. Is it what I think it is for Avery? I bookmarked it. They do have great stories on it.”

Kyle looked at Bryce and said, “You bookmarked, Big Closet, Bryce? They do have some great stories on there. I'm not sure if we are supposed to be there, but it is imformative.”

Bryce said, “I booked marked it about 3 months ago.”

Avery, hearing his name spoken, looked at them and said, “What about me?”

Kyle looked at William and said, “We need to to get to know you better, Avery. We invited you on sleepovers, but you never accepted. We don't mind if you are a bedwetter.”

Chase looked at Avery and said, “Avery, it is my first sleepover and I'm having fun. I'm a bedwetter.”

Aiden said, “You are making me feel welcome. Thanks. I should have accepted earlier. I'm having fun.”

Bryce said, “It is hard when you wet, but now you know we are all bedwetters, so accept our invites.”

William said, “Yes, even if you have to come to Maine . We want you to visit us.”

Avery looked at them and said, “You are bedwetters? Really?” He looked around and said, “I am. I hope you are fine being my friend.” He looked at the ‘Good-Nites’ and said, “Why girls?”

Bryce said, “We want you to be friends Avery. I invited you because I thought you were. I ran out of my own ‘G-Ns’ so mom told me to use my sisters. My sister uses mine, when she runs out.”

Avery said, “You don’t mind being in -.”Avery looked around and said,“Cool, you openly wear girls diapers?” He smiled and then said,“Are you?” He started to pull off his pants and briefs to put on the ‘Good-Nites’.

William looked at Avery and said, “Kyle and I aren’t girls, but I know a few who are girls in boys bodies. Are you, Avery? I mean you have the mannerism of my brother, Sawyer.”

Spencer looked at William and Kyle and said, “Sawyer might be a girl?” He pulled off his pants and put on the 'Good-Nites', then said, “I don't mind wetting. My brother hates it, but I don't mind.” Spencer was talking about his 12 year old brother, both of them with bad bladder caused by an accident. He said, “At least we weren't paralyzed. The doctor said we were lucky.”

William said, “No, Spencer, he is a girl. Mom took him in for a check-up and Sawyer is a girl. He is intersexed. My Aunt Denise was born as Dennis, so mom knew that Sawyer was like Dennis.”

Kyle said, “Dad and mom saw Dennis and Bill in the mannerism of Sawyer. They didn't want Sawyer to be depressed. Avery if you are, we are here for you.”

Avery said, “Your brother is a girl? How does your mom handle it? Does your mom freak out?”

Kyle said, “Our parents are fine with him being a girl, Avery. Are you a girl, Avery? Are you having trouble with your parents? My parents are wonderful to our ‘baby’ sister.”

Bryce said, “Avery, you are among friends. We don’t judge. Some of us are gay and some of us are straight. Some of us are bedwetters, too. We are best friends.”

Avery said, “I am. I wish mom would let me be. I feel like I want to kill myself. Mom hates me. My brother is better according to my mom.”Avery sniffed and said, “Sorry. Mom always put me down. One of my brother is a star for the high school. My other brother plays for the Jr. Colonials. They both love hockey, I can't skate.” Avery was talking about his 14 year old brother, Austin and his 9 year old brother, Alex. Avery sniffed and said, “Mom hates the fact I can't skate like my brother.”

Quentin said, “Avery, excuse my french, but your mom sounds abusive.”

Avery said, “No she doesn't hit me She just hates me.”

Jim looked at Avery and shook his head, “Avery, verbal abuse is as bad as physical abuse.”

Bryce said, “Verbal Abuse is abuse. It drives people to suicide. It is as bad as physical abuse. You said that you want to kill yourself. That is caused by your mom verbally abusing you.”

Avery said, “Jeez, I didn't think she was abusing me. Thanks.”

Kyle said, “Don’t kill yourself. William, get my wallet out of my pants. I have Aunt Denise card in it. Avery, call my aunt. She specializes in GID.” Kyle got the wallet from William and got the card out and handed it to Avery. “I think you’d be happier as a girl. My brother is happier in the few days he been a girl."

William looked at his brother then said, “Maybe my mom could talk to your mom. Mom knew Sawyer was a girl, so did dad. My dad lost a brother because his parents wouldn't help him. Kyle and I can see you with the same mannerisms as Sawyer and 3 of his friends, Avery.”

Avery looked at the card and said, “Your aunt works with teens who is like me? I wish my mom would listen. I am a girl. Your parents must be cool, Kyle and William.”

Avery looked at the card smiled and said, “I hope your mom will talk to my mom. Thanks for inviting me here. I hope I'll do more sleepovers.”

William said, “We aren't sure if this is our last one here or not. We might move permanently to Maine . Kyle and I want to move, but we will miss you. Mom said that we could invite you up at times if we move. Want to visit Maine , you guys? Mom and dad said that you can visit. We can still e-mail each other, too.”

Bryce said, “Let’s go swimming. I hope we can get invited there, Kyle and William.” He opened his bedroom door and walked down the hall, then down the stairs and through the kitchen.

Bryce's mom, April Webster, saw Bryce and his friends running through the kitchen, so she smiled and said, “Are you going outside? Have fun. Bryce, do you want to eat on the patio? Your dad will be bringing home pizzas.”

Avery looked at Bryce and said, “Your mom don't care about you just in diapers? I can't be in my underwear out of my room.” He watched as Bryce jumped into the pool, followed by the others. Avery then jumped into the pool to join his friends.

Mrs. Webster came out and looked at the pool. She smiled and said, “Bryce, I think you and Amy needs some 'Little Swimmers' for the pool. The pool-man said that 'GoodNites' aren't good for the filter. I will be back in about 15 minutes.”

Bryce said, “Is that what happened mom? Did Amy and I clog up the filter? Do you want us out of the pool? I guess we could squirt each other with the hose.”

Laughing, Mrs. Webster said, “Yes, that was the cause of it. Amy? I think it is mostly you and your friends, Bryce. I think you need to put on‘Little Swimmers’ for the pool. You can play with the garden hose, or your super soaker or the ‘Slip n’ Slide’, but no swimming. If you do I’ll spank the bad boys — all of them.”

Bryce smiled and said, “Guys, you know she’ll mean it. Avery, Aiden and Chase, when mom or dad tells us something, and we disobey them, we get a bare bottom spanking. Just one or two slaps.”

She went to her car and drove to the store, while Bryce and his friends ran around the yard playing with the hose, the 3 super soakers and the ‘Slip N’ Slide’ They were wet soaking each other and their diapers were almost falling off.

Bryce and his friends were having fun, playing with the hose, and keeping cool, that they didn’t see Amy or her 2 friends coming into the backyard. Amy smiled and said, “You having fun you guys?”

Avery, Aiden and Chase, when they heard the voice, looked up and saw Amy, so they tried to hide. Bryce looked at his sister and said, “Jeez, sis. You almost scared the piss out of me.”

Amy laughed and said, “I thought you already used it, brother. Who are the 3 new guests? I guess they will be loving diapers, too.”

Bryce said, “Yes, they will. Amy, meet my friends Avery, Aiden and Chase. They are here for the sleepover after I asked them many times.”

Amy looked at them and said, “Sorry if I scared you guys. I guess you need them. These are my friends, Kayla and Ashley.” They went inside the house.

Avery said, “You thought it was normal to stand around in diapers while your sister and her friends were talking to you?”

Bryce said, “She is in them, too, Avery. She doesn’t like them as much as I do.”

After a nap of 2 hours, mommy woke Sydney and me up. Mommy changed our diapers, cleaned us up, sprinkled powder on us and put cream on us, before putting us in diapers then dressed us into the dress we wore to Target. Mommy hugged us and said, “Mommy's baby girls are going to have fun. Did you have a nice nap? You btwo smells like wonderful baby girls.”

We both nodded, since we had our pacifiers in our mouth. Mommy took our hands and went to the living room. Mommy looked at DJ who was drinking from a sippy cup, and was just in a diaper playing with his cars.

Soon the doorbell rung and it was Danny and his mommy. Sydney and I opened the door and I saw Danny looking at us, then at his mommy. He smiled at his mommy and then said, “Mommy, Sawyer is wearing a dress! You were right, mommy!”

Christine smiled and said, “Now, will you try it? You might be happier as my baby girl. Mary, they look like twins?”

Mommy laughed and said, “Christine, they are twins. Sydney said that she is the older twin and Sawyer doesn’t mind. Christine, are you ready to see your new daughter? Danny, are you ready to see if you like it? Are you going to be Danielle? Your mommy might enjoy having a daughter.”

Danny said, “Mommy, she knew my new name. I’m going to have fun with my new friends. Mommy, if I like the diapers can I wear them this summer?”

Christine said, “We’ll see, Dani. Mary, I think Dani will love being my daughter. I’m going to talk to Dr. Salwasser about Dani.” She looked at Dani and said, “Are you ready, honey?”

Mommy said, “DJ, Sydney and Sawyer will be in diapers 24/7 at the lake. Dani, I have a gift for you. Are you ready to get into your dress? Your mommy told me what size you wear.”

Dani looked at her mommy and and kissed her, then they — mommy, Dani and Dani’s mommy — went to the guest room. In a few minutes, Dani came out in a light pink dress with pink ribbons in her hair. Dani had a pacifier in her mouth and was carrying a doll. He came to where Sydney and I were playing with our dolls.

Mommy loooked at Dani playing with us and said, “Christine would you like a drink? Dani will have fun with Sawyer, Sydney and their friends.”

Christine said, “Yes, thank you.” Mommy went to the kitchen and poured lemonade into a glass. She handed the glass to Christine, who said,“Thank you.” Christine took a sip.

In a few minutes, the doorbell rang, so Sydney and I answered it. It was Peyton, her mommy, Hanna and her mommy. We opened the door and Peyton’s mommy smiled and said, “Mary, I can’t believe it! They are twins. Who is who?”

Sydney said, “Mrs. MacAvoy, I’m Sydney . I’m the big sister. Sawyer is my baby sister.”

Mrs. Yannicosta looked at me and said, “Mary, I have to say that Sawyer is not a boy. She is so pretty in her dress. Sydney , why are you the older sister?”

Sydney looked at Mrs. Yannicosta and said, “I’ve been a girl all my life. My baby sister is new at it.”

They all laughed and Mrs. MacAvoy said, “That is true. I hope you and your baby sister will have fun being pretty girls.”

Mommy said, “Pat, Sophia, would you like a drink? Girls are you going to play with your new Friends and Sydney?” Mommy went to the kitchen.

Peyton said, “Sawyer, I got some of my old dolls for you. Mommy and I got you 2 stuffed animals, too.” Peyton handed me 3 dolls then a pink unicorn and a green inchworm. I hugged the stuffed animals.

I said, “Thank you, Peyton.” As I hugged her, I looked at her dress and said, “I love your dress, Peyton.” I looked at Hanna and said, “Yours, too, Hanna.”

Peyton and Hanna were both in sundresses. Peyton had a red sundress on while Hanna’s was flower-printed. They both had bows in the back, just like what Dani, Sydney and my dress has. Under them, they had diapers on and ribbons in their hair.

Hanna said, “Here are some more dolls, Sawyer. Thank you for saying my dress is nice.” She handed me her dolls. I took the dolls and put them with the other dolls on the floor where Dani was playing, so we could all play with them. I told Hanna ‘Thank you’ and Sydney said, “My baby sister will have lots of dolls.”

I looked at Sydney, Hanna and Peyton and said, “Dani, Gabe and Christian will get some of the dolls. They will need some, too. I might give them some of them, if you don’t mind.”

Hanna smiled and said: “You can Sawyer. They need dolls, too.”

Peyton looked at her mommy and said, “We forgot to get dolls for them.”

Pat hugged her daughter and said, “I think it is nice Sawyer is going to give some of her dolls to her friends. She is thoughtful.”

Peyton looked at me and at Sydney and said, “Your dresses are beautiful. I like it.”

Hanna said, “Yes they are very nice.”

Sophia said, “Mary, Sawyer looks like a 100% girl. Both of your daughters are beautiful.”

Mommy came in with 2 glasses of lemonade, smiled and said, “Thank you. I had so many compliments about my daughters at Target. Did you say thank you, honey?”

I showed mommy my 2 stuffed animals and said, “Mommy, Peyton gave me these. I told her thank you.”

Mommy looked at my stuffed animals and said, “Stuffed animals are nice for you honey. Daddy and I will get you more. Sydney, you, too. Both of my girls will have lots of stuffed animals.” Mommy looked at the unicorn and said,”Your girls will have lots of animals in your nursery.”

Mommy looked at Pat and Peyton and said, “Thank you. Sawyer is happier being a girl.” She looked at me and said, “Aren’t you, honey? Mommy’s baby girls are so polite for saying ‘THANK YOU.’”

Sydney looked at mommy and said, “We’ll have a nursery, mommy?” She looked at me and said, “Me and my baby sister want it, mommy.”

Mommy looked at me and said, “Your big sister and you will have fun. Do you like your stuffed animals, honey?”

I nodded and said, through my pacifier, “Yes, Mama.”

Pat looked at Dani who was playing with a baby doll and said, “Christine, Dani looked like she was born a girl. I hope she’ll enjoy being one.”

Christine said, “I’m not sure what her brothers will say if Dani wants to stay a girl. I hope they’ll accept the fact that Dani’s a girl.”She watched as Dani fed the doll a bottle, then Dani said to the doll, “Good girl. Mommy loves her baby. Time for a nap, baby.” Dani put the doll in the crib.

Christine said, “Yes, Dani is a girl. I’m just worried about her brothers picking on her.”

Mommy said, “Denise will talk to your kids, Christine. They should not tease Dani.”

The doorbell rang again, so my big sister and me went to the door and opened it. At the door was Emily, her mommy, Grace and her mommy and Gabe and his mommy. They looked at us and then Gabe looked at his mommy and said, “Mommy, Sawyer is in a dress! Mommy, thank you.”Emily and Grace both have sundresses on, Emily in a bright yellow sundress with flowers and Grace in a dark pink dress.

With my pacifier still in my mouth, I said, “Please come in. Mommy, Grace Emily and Gabe are here, now.”

I looked at Emily and Grace’s dresses and said, “Grace and Emily, your dresses are nice. Thank you for coming.”

Grace handed me two teddy bears and 4 dolls, so I said, “Mommy, I got 2 teddy bears from Grace. Thank you, Grace.” One of the teddy bear was pink with a pink ribbon and the other was a golden brown bear. I hugged the teddy bears, then handed them to my big sister and said, “Would you give these to mommy, sis?”

Grace said, “Mommy said that you needed a teddy bear or two.”

I looked at the dolls and said, “Thank you for the dolls, too. You are nice.”

Emily handed me two dolls as her mommy carried in a giant stuffed teddy bear. The bear was huge, bigger than me. Emily saw me looking at it, so she said, “Mommy saw this, so she got it for you. My bedroom has lots of stuffed animals. Sydney ’s room does, too.

It was true, Sydney ’s — and now my — room has lots of stuffed animals. I looked at the dolls, and said, “Mommy, a cabbage Patch Doll! Thank you, Emily.

Emily said, “ Sydney loves my Cabbage Patch doll collection, so I decided to ask mommy if I should get your sister one, too.” She looked at Sydney and said, “ Sydney , here is yours.”

Sydney took her new Cabbage Patch Doll and said, “Thank you, Emily.” Sydney hugged Emily as I did.

Mommy looked at the giant teddy bear and said, “Alison, you didn’t need to buy that. Thank you, the girls will enjoy it.”

Alison laughed and said, “Emily wanted to buy Sawyer the giraffe. It was bigger than the teddy bear.”

Mommy laughed and said, “Thank you, the girls will love it. Girls do love stuffed animals. Where did you get it?”

Alison said, “We bought it at the store called ‘The Ark ’ in the mall. It is on the second floor near Sears. The associates are helpful.”

Mommy said, “I might have to buy some Dani and the other new girls.”

Alison looked at Christine and said, “That’s Daniel? She looks beautiful in her dress.”

Sophia said, “They are enjoying it. If you say that they are boys. I’d argue against that statement.” She watched as Dani and Hanna were playing with a doll, and Dani changed the doll’s diaper and said,“Mama loves her baby” as she was kissing it.

Christine laughed and said, “I didn’t have to convince her to try it. Look at her playing and you can see that she is happier now.”

Sophia said, “They are enjoying it. If you didn't know that they were boys, you couldn't tell they are.” She watched as Dani changed a doll's diaper, kissed the doll and said, “Mommy loves her baby.”Sophia smiled.

Christine said, “That is not a boy! If you gave that doll to Dani's brothers, they would use it as a gun.”

Mommy said, “William and Kyle might, too. Or at least they would use it as a car.”
Alison said, “Or use it as a missle. My brother cooked my doll in my Easy-Bake Oven one time. He ruined it and I was mad!” All the mommies laughed at that.

Lucy looked at me and Sydney and said, “Mary, Sawyer looks like a bio-girl. Who is Sawyer and who is Sydney ? I can't tell since they are so beautiful.”
I decided to crawl back to where my doll was.

Mommy said, “Lucy, they do look alike, don’t they? The baby crawling is Sawyer. I know that Sydney and Sawyer are both happy. Sydney got a sister to play with, since Logan hates to play with dolls. Sawyer is happy that she is a girl.”Mommy looked at Gabe and said, “Gabe, are you ready to become a beautiful girl like Sawyer and Dani are? Lucy, are you ready to see your new daughter?”

Lucy looked at Gabe and said, “You ready, honey? Mommy wants you to try it. I bet you will love it. Tell everyone what your girl name is.”

Gabe said, “I’m Gaile. I’m ready to become my mommy’s daughter. Mommy said that I might be really a girl and I’ll be going to the doctor next week. I’m ready to play with my new friends.”

Mommy looked at Lucy and said, “Gaile? What a beautiful name. I bet you’ll be so beautiful, too.” Mommy took Lucy and Gabe (or soon to be Gaile) to the guest room.

Soon, Gaile came out in a pale blue sundress with a diaper underneath and pale blue ribbons in her hair. She was carrying a doll and had a pacifier in her mouth. She sat with us and started to play with the dolls. I looked at my friends and now I was waiting for Christian.

I didn’t have to wait long, as the doorbell rang and it was Christian and his mommy. Sydney, who ran to the door, and me, crawling, opened the door and Christian looked at us, then at his mommy. He said,“Mommy, I want to be like Sawyer.”

Jill looked at Sydney and me and said, “May we come in? You two are so cute. Your mommy said you love being a girl, Sawyer. Do you?”

Mommy laughed and said, “At Target, the cashier thought I had 3 year old triplets. They were asleep and DJ, who was just in a diaper and a shirt and my baby girls, who were in their dresses, had their diapers showing.”

I looked at mommy and then at Mrs. Curran and said, through my pacifier, “I love being Sydney ’s baby sister. I hope Chrissy will love it, too.”

Chrissy looked at his mommy and nodded his head. He looked at Gaile, me, Dani, Sydney and her friends and then at his mommy and said, "Please mommy! I wanna be a girl."

Jill said, “We talked about how Sawyer and Daniel trying to see if they being girls would make them happier. I told him that God makes mistakes, so he might be a girl instead of a boy. Of course, if my brother heard me heard me saying that, he would say no, God doesn't. Like most of his church, he doesn't think they do. I love him, be God does.”

Mommy said, “I think God is there to helps us, but I still think God is 99% perfect. I mean, if god was perfect wouldn't Eve tell the snake that she did NOT want the apple?”

Jill laughed and said, “I have to tell that to my brother!” Jill looked at Christian and said, “Ready to be a beautiful girl, honey? Mommy loves you.”
Lucy said, “Jill, look at Dani and Gaile playing with the dolls. They are happier. They love it. Right Gaile?”

Gaile nodded as she played with a Barbie doll. Dani and Gaile were babysitting the dolls and they both had pacifiers in their mouth.

Chrissy looked at his mommy and nodded his head. He looked at Gaile, me, Dani, Sydney and her friends and then at his mommy and said, "Please mommy! I wanna be a girl."

Chrissy looked at us and said, “Mommy, Sawyer, Danny and Gabe are happy.”
Christine looked at Christian and said, “Honey, her new name is Danielle or Dani, Danny was her old name. Do you have a girl's name, honey?”

Lucy said, “I want you to meet my new daughter, Gaile. What is your name, honey?”

Jill said, “We talked about it and she wants to be Kristin Ann. Don't you honey?”
Lucy said, “All of our girls have pretty names.”

Mommy said, “Pretty names for our happy beautiful baby girls.” She looked at me, Dani, Gaile and said, “I really think they are all girls.”

Jill said, "Mary, I think you were right. I hope they'll be happy girls forever.” She looked at Gaile and Dani and said, "They are beautiful baby girls, along with Sawyer."

Mommy said, "You are the last one for the party, Jill. Lets get Kristin Ann into her dress and then we can let them play with their dolls. Then, I'll show you what we have for our new baby girls. Kristin Ann will love her dress. Lets get her dressed for the sleepover.”
Mommy led Kristin Ann and Jill into the guest room and soon, Kristin Ann came out in pale pink sundress, pink ribbons in her hair and diapers under the dress. She was holding a doll mommy gave her and came to where we were all playing. Like all of us, Kristin Ann had a pacifier in her mouth.

Mommy got Jill some lemonade, then they went downstairs and showed them the playroom. Downstairs they talked while we played upstairs. Soon it was time for the mommies to leave, so they went upstairs and they said to be nice babies and to have fun tonight.

While Sydney and I were greeting our guests, at Bryce’s, his mom came home with 3 packages of ‘Little Swimmers’ along with some‘Pull-Ups’ and ‘GoodNites’. She looked at the boys who have sagging diapers on them, laughed and said,“Boys, you can now use the pool. I’m going to put them on you. After you are finished swimming, I’ll put a diaper back on you.” She looked at Avery, Aiden and Chase and said, “Boys, don’t worry. I diapered them since the first time Bryce had a sleepover when he was 6. Kyle and William and Scott were at the sleepover.”

Chase watched Bryce getting changed by his mom and said, “Bryce, your mom diapers all of you at your sleepovers? My mom would never do it.”

Bryce, smiled and said, “Yes, why not let your parents diaper you. They can put them on me better than I can. Soon, I know I’ll have do it myself, but for now I like my mom and dad to get me ready for bed.”

Kyle and William both looked at Chase and William said, “We do miss our mom and dad changing us. Our parents thought since we don’t wet all the time, we don’t need to wear ‘GoodNites’. We know if we ask we could wear them or older kids diapers that are available online and our parents wouldn’t complain. We were dry for awhile, but it is almost nightly, so we might ask. Ogan caught us a few times changing our sheets.”
Kyle said, “I think mom and dad knows we do wet, but I think they want us to talk to them. William we should. We need to tell our friends at the lake, too.”
William said, “We should. Lets talk to mom and dad about wearing diapers at night. At the lake, if our friends comes by early, they could see us in them, too.”
Kyle said, “Good idea, I hope they won't mind.”

Avery looked at Bryce and said, “You don’t mind seeing your mom seeing you nude?” He looked around and said, “You guys are nice.”Avery sniffed, and said, “Sorry. I was afraid that you would make fun of me if you knew I wanted to be a girl.”
Andrew, who Mrs. Webster just changed, jumped into the pool and said, “Were you bullied at your old school, Avery?” Oak Meadow Boulevard School was one of the two schools in town with 5th and 6thgrades. Avery transferred to Oak Meadow this year for 5thgrade from Fernbrook Elementary, where he went from Kindergarten to 4th grade.
Avery said, “Yes, I was bullied there. I hate school.”
Quentin looked at Avery, while Jim was diapering him, said, “No matter what, Avery, people will bully. I'm called Queertin, but who cares if they hate queers. We like you, Avery.”
Bryce said, “Mom, can I rip off my diapers and run around while you chase me?”

Mrs. Webster laughed and said, “He was a nudist, Avery. He used to run around after he took off his diapers. Amy, too.” She finished diapering Jim, and said, “Next? I might take a picture of all of you in them and hand them out to your parents.”

Aiden said, “I should ask my mom and dad to get diapers for me. Maybe they’ll diaper me at night. I hope so.”

Chase said, “I am going to ask my mom and step-dad to get them for me. Maybe, at the least I won’t stink up the room as my brothers say I do.”

Bryce said, “Chase, be mature about wetting, even if you want to be a TB.” They all laughed except for Avery and Aiden, who didn’t get the joke.

Arthur was the next one and he said, “My folks think I’m mature since I wear protection. They do know I’m a TB, but they know that I’ll always wet because of my bladder problem. When I’m sick I wear 24/7. Sometimes, in the summer I wear 24/7.”

Bryce looked at his mom and said, “I guess you and dad took pictures of me and Amy on the traditional bearskin rug.”

Mrs. Webster laughed and said, “And we can’t wait to show it to your dates.”

Avery looked at Arthur and said, “What is a TB? I hope that is not a stupid question.”

Andrew said, “Avery, no it isn't a stupid question. A TB is a 'Teen Baby’It is a person who loves being in diapers, or wishes he could be babied. Quentin is a TB to Jim. I’m a TB, so is Zane, Art, Weston and Spencer. Unfortunately, we can’t say anything, but we would either a mommy or a daddy to baby us. Quentin is lucky. He got accepting parents who knows he is gay and a TB. His 2 brother and 2 sisters knows about Jim.”

Kyle said, “I think Will and I are TBs. When we are sick mom and dad diapers us. I think mom and dad miss diapering us because we used to talk about our day, trains, boats or whatever was on our mind.”

Zane said, “Mom loves to diaper me at night because it is the time we can relax and talk. I wish I was more of a TB. If my dad was still around maybe I wouldn't be a TB, but I don’t mind.”

Mrs. Webster, who was diapering Avery, said, “You’ll enjoy it once you get used to it, Avery. They’ll kid, but they are friends. If they ever see one of them in trouble, they’ll be at your back.”

Avery said, “Mrs. Webster, thank you. I wish my mom was like you. She thinks that I’m not a girl, but I am.”

Mrs. Webster said, “Avery, I think your mom is scared of what you said that you are. I hope she'll talk to William and Kyle's Aunt Denise. I think she'll help you. Gender Identity Disorder is coming out of the closet, but some parents refuse to believe that their kids have it.”

Avery said, “I hope she'll talk to her.”

William said, “Avery, our Aunt Denise would call your mom. You neeed to talk to your mom at first. Do you need our help, Avery? We could see if we could help you.”

Avery said, “Think you could?”

Kyle said, “We might have to ask someone.”

Kyle said, “Our brother — or I should say, our baby sister — is happier. She had a checkout and the doctor said she is.”

Avery said, “Baby sister? Why do you say that?”

William laughed and said, “Sydney, our 6 year old sister, is taller then she is. Sydney called Sawyer her twin baby sister. Sawyer has 3 friends who might be girls, too. Later, we will show you a good site.”

Avery said, “Your brother doesn’t mind being called a ‘baby sister’? If I was called a baby, I would hate it. Of course, the bullies said that I was a sissy baby. Do they wear diapers?”

Kyle said, “They shouldn’t call you that, Avery. My dad said that bullies would be dead or in jail. Bullies think they are better, but they are not. You should ignore them.”

William said, “I know that they are all in diapers for the sleepover. I overheard mom telling Sydney that they might be in ‘GoodNites”for the sleepover, so Sydney said that she and Sawyer would love to be in them 24/7.”

Kyle looked at Avery and said, “I bet if my mom said to Sydney and Sawyer that they are going to be 3, they would say fine. Sydney and Sawyer doesn’t like school.”

Jim said, “Who does?” Everyone laughed at that.

Avery said, ‘So your sister is controlling your brother?”

Kyle said, “No! Sydney is happy that she got a sister to play with her dolls. Logan is a tom-boy and never cared about dolls. Even when Sawyer was a ‘boy’, she played with Sydney ’s dolls with her. DJ, is as tall as Sawyer, and they are all small. All of them are about 3' and less than 35 pounds.”

Avery said, “They are small? Were they all pre-mies?”

Kyle said, “Nope, they all got the ‘Grayley’ genes. William and I got the Maidenford genes and Logan got the Trimmingham genes. The Grayleys are my dad’s mom parents, Trimmingham is my mom’s maiden name.”

Avery looked at his friends and sighed. He then said, “I wish you were my brothers, Kyle and William. It seems you have a caring family who is helping your new sister.”

Kyle looked at Avery and said, “William and I know you were a girl since Halloween, Avery. When we saw you looking at Andrew as a girl trick or treating, you were jealous.”

Avery looked at us and said, “I was jealous. Andrew looked so beautiful. Who helped you, Andrew?

Andrew said, My mom did my hair. She owns a hair salon. My sister helped me, too. I love dressing up as a girl. I might be a girl, but a girl who loves beach volleyball and doing gymnastics.”

While they were swimming at Bryce’s, mommy watched us play with our dolls, then looked at DJ, who was playing with his trucks in the living room. Mommy looked at him, so I crawled over and kissed him. Mommy said, “DJ, your sister is nice. Isn’t she?”

DJ nodded, so mommy kissed him, then watched me as I starting crawling back to where my friends were, so she picked me up and kissed me. “Having fun with your friends, honey?” mommy asked. “Do you like crawling?”

Mommy put me on the floor, so I started to crawl, so mommy laughed and said, “I guess you do.” I was crawling, when daddy car pulled in, so Sydney hear daddy’s car, so she said, “Dada’s here!” She started to walk to the door, but saw me crawling, so she decided to crawl.

Mommy laughed as she saw us crawling towards the door, but stopped us and said, “Girls, you and your friends need to go downstairs. Daddy will be there soon. Let us go downstairs. I started crawling towards the basement door, but mommy grabbed our hand to make us walk.
When we got to the great room that was in the basement, we saw some toddler toys. Along with Sydney and me crawling, Dani and Hanna decided to crawl and played with the toys. Soon, daddy came down with 4 large cheese pizzas, so mommy put bibs on us and we started to eat. Mommy passed out bottles of juice, so we ate, while playing with our dolls and toys. Sydney and I crawled around and daddy, seeing us crawling so he looked at mommy laughed and said, “We might need 2 highchairs for them. They look happy, all of the girls.”

Mommy said, “They are, happy. I love the cribs you got.” Mommy kissed daddy then looked at us and said, “Cake and ice cream after, girls. Enjoy the pizzas.” Mommy and daddy went up the stairs as we finished eating. Upstairs, daddy gave mommy a gift — an 8 seat stroller.

When mommy and daddy came downstairs about 15 minutes later, mommy said, “It is time for the girls to get into their pajamas. They can watch the movie from their cribs, but first cake and ice cream. Mommy changed my wet diaper, and powdered me, put diaper rash cream on me, then put me in footed pajamas with dancing animals trimmed in pink. Mommy put me on the floor, so I started to crawl. Daddy laughed and said, “My baby girl is happy.” He got on the floor and kissed me.

Daddy cut the cake, while mommy changed us, he put it on the paper plate scooped some ice cream and gave it to us. Daddy watched us eat without any spoons, so we ate it with our hands, so daddy took some pictures, getting our face messy. Mommy saw us and laughed, too. After, we had our cake and ice cream, we were put into our cribs and watched ‘Disney’s Tinkerbell’ as we fell asleep.

Mommy and daddy went upstairs and Logan was in the living room and she said, “DJ is asleep. He was watching ‘Thomas’ and he fell asleep. I tucked him in his bed.” She looked at mommy and daddy and said, “For your information, I love being a girl. I just love to climb trees and play sports.”

Daddy said, “Logan, we aren’t worried about you. If you started to wear a dress, stop playing sports or climbing trees, then we would see what is wrong, but you like those things. We know that William and Kyle are wetting, but we hope they’ll come to us. We hear them getting up and changing their sheets at night.”

Logan said, “Good. I didn’t want them to know that I told on them. I saw them a few times getting sheets out of the closets and washing their sheets.”

Mommy said, “I know they would like to wear protection. We might talk to them when they come home tomorrow. We don’t want them to lose sleep because of their problem. I seen them changing their sheets but your dad and I don’t want to embarrass them.”

Logan said, “When are we going to the lake? Ashley wants to know.”

Mommy said, “You dad have some meetings this week, but hopefully next weekend we should be there. Do you miss the lake already?”

Daddy said, “We are going to be leaving Sunday morning, Logan. I can do a few meeting on the phone and I have 4 people to interview on Wednesday about the new office.”
Logan smiled and said, “Dad, did you decide about a sailboat for me? I know William and Kyle asked about a ski boat.”

Daddy, looked at Logan and said, “You’ll be getting a Sunfish for the lake, honey. The boys are getting a nice 14' boat with a 10 horsepower engine. Uncle Carl brought them up there last week.”

Logan kissed mommy and daddy and said, “Thanks you. I think the lake will be nice for us all. I’m going to call Ashley. Night.” Logan went up the stairs to her room.

When Logan left, daddy said, “Logan is in her room, the girls are asleep in their new cribs and the boys are at a sleepover. I want to show you something, my love.” He got up and helped mommy up and they walked into the garage.

While, we are asleep in our cribs, William and Kyle were watching ‘Skyfall’ at Bryce after eating their pizzas. They were talking and kidding each other, and Avery looked at Quentin who was drinking from a bottle and said, “Jim, did you teach him to be your baby?”

Jim said, “He taught me to be his daddy, Avery. I love him and having a teen baby is fun. It is still in the closet, but you could meet a TB online or I bet one of them would let you be their mommy.”

Kyle said, “Avery, you’d be a great mommy to either a TB or a real baby when you are older. You need to talk to your mom.”

Avery said, “When we leave tomorrow, I hope you and William and Bryce will come with me. I like you. Wish I could have accepted earlier when you asked me to sleepover.”

William said, “We will, Avery. We want you to call us, even thou we will be in Maine.” William watched the end of Skyfall, then said, “Night, guys.”

Mommy looked at the gift daddy got and said, “It is wonderful for our babies. I think we can use it tomorrow if we are going to brunch.” Mommy kissed daddy and said, “It is nice.”

Daddy said, “I’m glad you like it. I knew our girls might want to be babied, and with the others this weekend, we might have a few babies to take care of this weekend.”

Mommy said, “Peyton, Dani, Gaile and Kristen Ann will be picked up tomorrow afternoon. Hanna, Grace and Emily will be leaving in the morning. William and Kyle will be home in the morning, so we could go and eat”

Daddy said, “Want to go to Essex tomorrow? The boys asked me earlier this week. The babies might have fun, too.”
(Editor's note: Essex is a town in Connecticut. It is the home of a few historical places, but the family will be going to 2 places - Valley Railroad Company (aka The Essex Steam Train) and the Connecticut River Museum (a museum of the maritime history of the Connecticut River along with the story of the Battle of Essex - when the British burned Essex during the war. Essex was a major shipbuilding area in the 1770s and 1780s.).

Mommy kissed daddy and said, “Yes, we could.” They then walked hand in hand to their bedroom and went to bed.

Summer Girl 4

Mommy and daddy, after talking about the gift, which was a Runabout 8 stroller, snuggled in their bed. Daddy, kissed mommy, and said, “I’m glad you like it. I’m glad we are helping Sawyer. I’m glad William, Kyle and Logan are helping, too. Do you know I love you?”

Mommy kissed daddy and said, “Yes, I know you do, dear. I know you love our new daughter. She is so lovable.” She patted her stomach and said, “These will be loved by our kids, too. I bet Sydney and Sawyer would love to babysit them.”

Daddy said, “That is because of her mommy. We are blessed to have wonderful kids. We have kids who care about others.” Daddy kissed mommy and then said, “I bet they would, unless they want to teach them to be babies, too.” Mommy and daddy talked about William, Kyle, Logan and Sydney, DJ and me, then my friends.

Mommy said, “Do you think they’ll ever become bio-moms? They loved their dolls and they said they were mommies.”

Daddy laughed and said, “Today some researchers and scientists were talking to us about funding for gene research. They said that with our stem cells, we can grow body parts. Who knows, maybe Sawyer and her friends wants to be a mother. They might be able to.”

Mommy said, “They would be good mommies, if they want. Do you know I love you?”

Daddy said, “They can be moms, or a WNBA player or a model or a race car driver or a scientist or even the hardest job, a stay at home mom.” Daddy kissed mommy and said, “They can be anything.”

While mommy and daddy were talking, Logan was on the phone to Ashley. They talked about their families and the lake and Logan told her that she was getting a Sunfish sailboat. They talked for a few more minutes, before Logan hung up and went to sleep.

At Bryce’s, William, Kyle and their friends were in and on their sleeping bags and air mattresses talking about ‘Skyfall’ and M’s death. They, all being Bond fans, talked about the plot and the action and wondered when the next Bond film will be out.

Arthur, who is a fan of British comedies, shook his head and said, “I wonder why dame Judi Dench was killed? She is a great actress.” He reached for a glass of birch beer – one of 5 bottles of flavors; the others are root beer, orange, cola, and Dr. Pepper - that Bryce’s mom supplied.

Jim, who had Quenn on his lap feeding him a bottle, said, “I read online that she had enough of it. I guess she is ready to retire from the movies.”

Arthur said, “She was great in the show ‘As Time Goes By.’ That is one of my favorite PBS shows. It airs on PBS Saturday night, along with a few others, ‘Keeping Up Appearances’, ‘Are You Being Served?’ and ‘Fresh Fields.’ They are funny.”

They talked about TV shows, when Avery, in his sleeping bag, looked at his friends and said, “William, you and Kyle said that you would so me a website earlier. Did you forget?”

Kyle, in this sleeping bag, yawned and said, “Did we forget, brother? Avery, we didn’t forget. Bryce, may we borrow your notebook?” He looked at William and said, “Hey, bro, could you pour me a glass of Dr. Pepper?”

William, got out of his sleeping bag, poured Kyle a glass of Dr. Pepper and himself a glass of cola and sat on Bryce’s bed. Bryce, who was sitting at his desk, turned on the notebook and said, “Here it is, William.” He handed the notebook to William. “What you going to show him? Big Closet? Or are you going to show him diaper sites.”

William went to the MLB.com website and said, “After I check the score on the Sox, I’m going to show Avery ‘Big Closet’ and the diaper sites, too.” William looked at the MLB.com page and said, “Rain delay, darn.” William sipped his cola.

Jim looked up from his air mattress, still cuddling Quenn and said, “Going to show Avery some TB stories? Some of them are great.” He looked at Bryce and said, “Bryce, could you hand me a glass of orange soda, please? I got my baby falling asleep and I don’t want to wake him.”
Bryce poured Jim a glass and said, “Here you go, Jim. Anyone else?” Bryce handed the glass to Jim.

William went to the ‘Big Closet site and said, “First I’m going to show him Big Closet.” He patted the bed next to him and said, “Avery, come up here, so we can show you it.”

Avery slipped out of his sleeping bag and his diaper slipped down. He sat on the bed and said, “What is Big Closet?” He looked at William, who was typing on Bryce’s notebook.

Andrew, who was kneeling on his sleeping bag, said, “Big Closet is a site for intersexed people. It is a great place for stories. Stanman has some great stories on it. Too bad he passed on.”

Kyle said, “Yes it is a shame about him. There are great authors on there. I love ‘Pinkboy’s’ stories ‘What’s Next?’ and ‘Flower Boy’. William likes PT Sue’s ‘Beach Girl’ and ‘Christmas Gift’. We also like Dauphin, K. T. Leone and Dorothy Coleen’s stories, too.” He looked at his brother and said, “Right?”

Avery said, “Intersex? What’s that?” He looked at his friends. “Sorry, but I sound like a dummy.” He sighed, then said, “My ex stepdad said that I’m a dummy.”
Spencer, who was in his sleeping bag on his knees, said, “Intersex means that you are in the wrong gender body.” He looked at his friends and said, “Am I right?” He looked at Avery and said, “You aren’t a dummy, buddy. You are smart. You are good in school.”
William said, “You are almost right, Spence. Intersex is also called GID or Gender Identity Disorder and also is called Transgender. It is when you think you are born in the wrong body. Andrew has GID, because he thinks he’s a girl. Sawyer has GID.”
Andrew threw a pillow at William and said, “William, you are wrong! I don’t think I’m a girl, I know I’m a girl.”
William threw the pillow back at Andrew and said, “I stand corrected. Andrew knows he is a girl. He throws like one, too.”
They all laughed, so Andrew said, “Kyle, show Avery the site so I can wrestle with your brother. “ They laughed again.
Avery looked at Andrew and asked, “Andrew, what does your dad think about it? He looked at his friends and said, “Thanks for inviting me over. I wish I knew earlier. I’m having fun.” He looked at Spencer and said, “Thanks, buddy, for saying I’m smart. Wish mom would tell me it.”
Andrew said, “I don’t know and I don’t care what he thinks, Avery. My stepdad, who is my real dad in every way, is supportive. Mom and dad, as I call my stepdad, knows I’m happier. My brothers and sisters don’t mind that I’m a girl.” He looked at Kyle and William and said, “Your bro – er – sister is lucky to be moving. Mom and dad said that if we move, I could be a fulltime girl.”
Kyle said, “Move to Togue Lake. It is a nice place and you’ll meet people there. Sawyer and Sydney did already. Sawyer has a few best friends there.”
Andrew said, “How far is it from Portland? Dad’s company might move him to Portland.”
Kyle said, “It is about 45 minutes from Portland, Andrew. You might meet some nice people up there.”
Andrew sighed then said, “I might have to tell mom and dad about it. Hey, William, did Redhead put a new chapter of ‘Don’t Bet Against Your Mom’, yet?”
William said, “He wrote another chapter of ‘Surprise Daughter,’ Andrew. Avery, that is another funny story. Want to read it? It is funny. You will be laughing your ass off.”
Avery said, “What is ‘Don’t Bet Against Your Mom’ and ‘Surprise Daughter’ about? I hope mom will let me be a girl. I wish I was a girl.”
William said, “’Don’t Bet’ is a wonderful story about a single mom and her 4 kids – two of each. The 2 girls were going to be in a wedding as Flower girls for their mom’s best friend’s wedding. The boys kidded their sisters about the wedding, so their sister asked why they aren’t in the wedding, so the boys laughed about them being in a dress. The mom made a bet with them about they would pass as girls, so they accepted and they have to spend a weekend as girls. They went to a resort, where their mom met a single dad. The boys are trying to tell the dad – who knows they are boys – that they are boys. It is a well written story, like most stories on Big Closet. ‘Surprise Daughter’ is about a boy who told his mom – while his dad’s in Afghanistan – that he is a girl. Her dad, coming home, met his daughter for the first time and the adjustment he is doing about having a daughter. It is a serious and funny story.”
Andrew said, “I know I’m a girl. Mom is pregnant and I hope I can babysit for my mom and dad.” He looked at Avery and said, “If you had longer hair, Avery, you would look like a beautiful girl. We could have fun being girls and talking about boys, like real girls.”
Jim, cuddling with Quenn, said, “Hey some of us do talk about boys. You don’t need to be a girl to talk about hot guys. Of course, my hot guy is my baby Quenny.” He looked at Quentin and said, in a baby talk, “Isn’t that right my cute baby Quen.”
The room laughed as Jim was talking baby talk, so Bryce said, “Lets keep it down before my mom and dad tells us get to bed. Aiden, are you glad you came here?”
Aiden said, “I’m glad to get invited. Thanks, Bryce. I wish I accepted earlier.” He heard Avery laughing, so he got up from his sleeping bag and walked to Bryce’s bed. “William and Avery, may I read it, too? It must be funny. You are laughing.”
Avery said, “This story I’m reading is funny. William, do you mind if he read it?”
William said, “Have a seat, Aiden. It is a funny and serious story. It is well written.” William patted the bed on the other side of him.
Sitting on the bed, Aiden said, “Thanks for inviting me. I was going to make an excuse for not coming.”
Bryce said, “You’re welcome, Aiden. Was the reason you didn’t come was because of you wetting? We all invited you, but you always refused. Was it because of that?”
Aiden said, “Yes. I knew if somebody found about me wetting that I would be bullied and people wouldn’t be my friends. Every time you asked, I got a feeling in my stomach that you will hate me soon, because I refused. I hope we’ll be friends for a long time.”
Kyle said, “We are friends, Aiden.” He looked around at his friends then said, “If any of us gets bullied, we fight for each other.”
Aiden started to look at the story, then looked up and said, “Can we be on here? Is it legal?”
Bryce, looking at Avery, William and Aiden on his bed, said, “I guess we can. My mom and dad know I’m on it. They gave me permission when I talked to them about Scott telling me he has GID. Avery, Chase and Aiden, Scott was another friend of ours who moved about a year ago.”
Jake said, “I’m not sure if we are supposed to be on it, Aiden, but I like it because it helps me and I love some of the stories on it. ‘Don’t Bet’ and ‘Surprise Daughter’ are great. Another is ‘Strange Planet’, about a planet with a plant that if you touch it, you’ll change genders. Another is ‘My Life Redone’, about a 50 year old with cancer getting a chance of being a girl.”
Bryce looked at them and said, “Those are good stories. The stories I like are K. T. Leone’s ‘Summertime Pinks’, Maggie the Kitten’s ‘PB&J’ and ‘Over The River’ and Missy Crystal’s ‘Sister Sister Sister.’ I’m thinking of writing a story about a boy who won a part in a TV show as a girl.”
Hearing about their friend Scott, Zane, who was dressed in a diaper and a t-shirt, shook his head and said, “I still think he was abused by his mom. After his dad left, my mom said that she hated all men. Before Scott moved away, he told me that his mom got a girlfriend.”
Bryce said, “Zane, he told me the same thing. The reason why they moved was because she lived in Litchfield. “ (Editor’s note: Litchfield is a nice city in the Northwestern part of Connecticut. The Litchfield area is part of the Litchfield Hills.)
Zack said, “My sister said that Scott’s older sister hated guys, too. My sister said Scott’s 2 younger sisters tolerate boys. They love getting Scott in trouble thou.”
Jacob said, “Scott’s older sister is going to Smith according to my sister.” (Editor’s note: Smith College is a women’s college in Massachusetts. Hillary Clinton went there.) Jacob looked around and said, “I wonder if a transgendered male could go there.”
Wes, in just a diaper, looked at Jacob, said, “Jake, lets find out. You can be to first TG to enroll at Smith. If they accept you, they do.”
Jake said, “Hey, I’m gay but I’m not a girl!! Wes, you can enroll there.” He smiled while he said it. Then he started to wrestle with Wes.
The room laughed, so Bryce’s dad knocked on the door to tell them that it was time to sleep, so they got into their sleeping bag and fell asleep. Bryce’s dad looked at William and Kyle and said, “Your mom and dad wants you home after breakfast, William and Kyle. Night boys.”
While William and Kyle were at Bryce’s sleepover, Sydney, me and our friends were asleep in our cribs. When mommy and daddy woke us up, in the morning, we were wet and messy, so mommy and daddy bathed us, diapered us and we then went upstairs to have breakfast in just our diapers.
After breakfast, Emily, Hanna and Grace were picked up by their mommy, so we said bye to them, then when William and Kyle got home, mommy and daddy said we were going to the Valley Railroad. The Valley Railroad is a railroad museum and train trip, so mommy got us girls in dresses – all of us in light pink dresses and daddy dressed DJ in blue shortalls that had Thomas on it with a onesie under it.
We got into the car – with DJ, Sydney, Dani, Peyton, Gaile and Kristen Ann along with me in our car seats – and daddy driving. We fell asleep on the way to the museum.
William and Kyle looked at us and Kyle said, “Mom, did they have a good time being babies? We did at Bryce’s. We told Avery to talk to his mom about being a girl.”
Mommy looked at us and said, “They did have a great time, honey. They loved their cribs. We were sure Sawyer wanted to be Sydney’s baby sister and she does. Yesterday at Target, I had someone asked if they – DJ, Sydney and Sawyer were triplets, since they were all asleep and their diapers were showing.”
William looked at Kyle and said, “Mom, do you and dad mind if we were diapered at night? We still wet and it is a pain. We slept soundly at Bryce’s last night since we were diapered.”
Daddy said, “We never minded that you were diapered before, Kyle. We can hear you walking around at night. Your mom said that you try to be quiet when you change the sheets but we hear you.”
William said, “I know but we thought -.” William looked at Kyle then said nothing.
Daddy said, “Bedwetting runs in families, buddy. We don’t mind if you are diapered. We wondered when you wanted them again. I didn’t stop until I was 16. Your Uncle Carl didn’t stop until he was 23 and he still wets at time.”
Kyle, William, Logan, mommy and daddy talked about their night, bedwetting and diapers.
Daddy drove into the parking lot of the museum and parked. Daddy got the stroller out and Kyle said, “That’s cool. Where you get it?”
Daddy said, “I got it from a store specializing in day care merchandise. I thought it would be nice for your baby sisters and brother – and since it can hold 2 100 pound kids, we know you might enjoy it, too especially at Disney.”
Kyle said, “Cool. We might enjoy it.” He looked at William and smiled.
Daddy started to push the stroller, as Kyle, William and Logan looked the display. The first display was a piece of twisted metal called ‘Sherman’s Necktie’. It was how General Sherman destroys the railroad in Georgia during his march to the sea by heating them and twisted them. Daddy said this piece was done in 1994 during an Civil War reenactment. Next to it is the ‘DaCosta’, built for the Pennsylvania for their ‘Congressional Limited’ around 1915, two Lamoille Valley coaches, originally built for the Lackawanna in the 1920s, then used on the Lamoille Valley until 1994 and the Pennsylvania baggage car ‘9284’.
Mommy walked hand in hand with daddy and daddy kissed mommy. Soon William and Kyle ran to ‘Engine 1246’, the largest steam locomotive in Connecticut. It wasn’t owned by the Valley Railroad, but by ‘the Railroad Museum of New England’; another Railroad museum in Connecticut. Daddy took a picture of William, Kyle and Logan in front of the locomotive.
Daddy, reading the brochure he printed online, said, “This was built for the Canadian Pacific Railroad in 1946 by the Montreal Locomotive Works in Quebec. It was used after 1964 to haul passenger excursions in Vermont and Pennsylvania.”
William said, “Dad, do you think it was owned by Steamtown? It is beautiful.”
Daddy said, “It might have been. Since it was used both in Vermont and Pennsylvania, I would say yes.”
Daddy and mommy pushed the stroller and I looked around at the trains. DJ looked at ‘1246’ and said, “Choo choo.” Daddy lifted him up out of the stroller and mommy took a picture of them.
Near ‘1246’ was a Steamroller that daddy said was willed to the museum by one of the Valleys first engineers.
After looking at the displays, daddy and mommy got our ticket for the train ride. William and Kyle both were hungry, so daddy gave them some money for food at the ‘Trackside Café’, while mommy let us out of our stroller, telling us to hold her and daddy’s hands.
DJ saw some ‘Thomas and Friends’ toys so daddy bought some for him, while mommy bought some T-shirts for William, Kyle and Logan. William, Kyle and Logan, after eating, wanted some HO models, so daddy bought them, too.
Soon we saw the train coming into the station, so we got put back into the stroller and we got on the train. Daddy put Sydney and me on his lap, William held DJ, Logan held Peyton, Kyle held Kristen Ann while mommy held Gaile and Dani. The train whistle blew and we were off. The train ran from Essex to Chester, within sight of the Connecticut River. At Chester, the train went back to Deep River, where we boarded the ‘Becky Thatcher’ to cruise on the Connecticut River.
The ‘Becky Thatcher’ started upriver, past Hadlyme Ferry, the second oldest ferry operating in the country and past ‘Gillette Castle’, originally the home of William Gillette, a Broadway actor who’s famous for playing Sherlock Holmes, now a state park. On the river were boats enjoying a nice day and daddy had us waving to the boaters as we went upriver. We cruised upriver to Goodspeed Opera House, a historical theater and the Haddam Swing Bridge. When we got to the bridge, we started back to Deep River.
We cruised downriver and daddy showed us some birds including ospreys, eagles and ducks. When we got to the dock in Deep River, we got on the train and started back to Essex.
When we got to Essex, mommy placed us in the stroller and we went around looking at the display. William and Kyle wanted a hot dog, so daddy bought them and Logan hot dogs while mommy and daddy fed us. After eating, we were put into our car seats and drove out of the parking lot.
As soon as daddy started driving, we fell asleep as daddy drove towards Hadlyme Ferry. We were asleep until mommy got us into our Stroller at Gillette Castle State Park. Mommy and Daddy pushed the stroller around as daddy was showing things to William, Kyle and Logan. Daddy told them this history of it. We went into the castle and looked around.
As we looked around the castle, Logan, Kyle and William talked to the rangers about Gillette’s design. After seeing the castle, we went on the walking path, which was where Mr. Gillette had a railroad. (editor’s note: His Railroad is now at Lake Compounce, the oldest continuously operating amusement park in the US) After we walked around,we got into our car and we went on the road, stopped at Goodspeed Opera House, then drove north to the Glastonbury – Rocky Hill ferry, the oldest ferry in the US. We went across the river, and then drove home.
When we got home, it was time for Kristen Ann, Peyton, Gaile and Dani to go home, and daddy and mommy decided to take us to McDonald’s, after we said good bye to our friends. We drove down to a McDonald’s and DJ, me and Sydney were in highchairs while eating our Happy Meal. When we got back home, we were put into our cribs.

After DJ, Sydney and I were asleep in our cribs, mommy and daddy talked to William and Kyle about wearing diapers. William said, “We thought that you’d hate us, but we know better. Thanks.”
Daddy said, “You know some of your cousins are? As we said, it does run in families. We are glad that you are mature about diapers?”
William looked at Kyle, mommy and daddy and said, “Isn’t that an oxymoron? Mature about diapers?”
They laughed, and then daddy said, “Funny, William. I hope you’ll get some sleep now. Do you want us to diaper you?”
William and Kyle looked at each other and nodded, so mommy and daddy got them ready for bed. As they were changing them, Kyle and William both talked about diapers with mommy and daddy.
After William and Kyle – along with Logan – were asleep, mommy and daddy cuddled and talked about the day.

When mommy woke us up the next morning, we were wet and messy, so mommy gave Sydney and me a bath then put us in diapers and a onesie. We just stayed home as mommy wanted us – Sydney, DJ and me - to take naps today. Mommy put us into our playpen, while she gave DJ a bath, then she fed us our breakfast. After breakfast, William and Kyle went over to Avery’s, then to Bryce’s, while Logan went out with 3 of her friends, after mommy told them to be back for lunch at about 1. Mommy put us into the playpen, turned on the television and went to clean the house. Mommy put us down for our naps around 11. After our naps, which lasted about an hour, mommy took us outside in our backyard. We played until Logan, Kyle and William came home, then we had lunch. After lunch, mommy took us outside – after putting ‘Lil Swimmers’ on DJ, Sydney and me, so we can play in the pool. Kyle and William, in their suits, decided to join us, so did Logan in a bikini.
After an hour of playing in the pool, mommy took DJ, Sydney and me to change and get ready for our naps. William and Kyle decided to get out and went to their room to take a nap, too. Logan and mommy went to read.
Mommy woke Sydney and me up from our naps, so she changed us by putting ‘Lil Swimmers’ on us, so we were going to play in the pool. Mommy took us to the pool and was joined by William, Kyle, Logan and DJ. We were in the pool when daddy came home.
Daddy saw us playing in the pool in just our ‘Lil Swimmers’, so he smiled at mommy and kissed us all. Daddy went inside to change into his suit, then mommy and daddy played with us, until mommy went to check on dinner.
Mommy bought our highchairs out to the patio, then asked Kyle and William to set the table. They got out of the pool along with Logan, leaving daddy with me, Sydney and DJ. Soon it was time to eat, so daddy lifted us into our highchairs and we had dinner.
After dinner, mommy gave DJ a bath while daddy gave me and Sydney a bath. Daddy put on our diapers and footed pj’s and put us into our cribs for the night. Mommy came in with a bottle for Sydney and me. We sucked on it as we fell asleep.
The next morning, mommy woke us up and changed our wet and messy diapers and we did the same things as the day before, morning and afternoon naps, play in the pool and playpen time. The next 3 days were the same.
One morning, daddy woke Sydney and me up, so daddy got us dressed. Daddy put Sydney in a light blue satiny dress and daddy put me in a light pink satiny dress. Daddy took our hands and put us in our carseats, then DJ, holding mommy’s hand was put into his carseat. Soon Logan, William and Kyle were in the car, so daddy got in the drivers seat and drove. We stopped for breakfast at a restaurant we usually go to and after we ate, we started to the lake and soon we were asleep.
Daddy stopped at a rest area, so mommy could drive. Before mommy started to drive, mommy checked our diapers and changed us. Daddy looked at us and kissed mommy then said, “I love you and all of our babies so much. I’m glad we are moving.”
Mommy started to drive said, “I love you and our kids, too. I think Sydney and Sawyer love being babies. I’m not sure what will happen at the lake.”
Daddy said, “Seriously, if Sydney and Sage wants to be babies at the lake, what will happen? Nothing, we might have to tell their friends’ parents. “
Mommy said, “I was talking to the Yetzers yesterday and Kayla sleepwets. Lisa said a few of her friends are, so it isn’t a big deal. Clay and Jarred are, too.” Mommy looked at us – still sleeping in our carseats and said, “I think Sawyer and Sydney are happy.”
Daddy agreed to mommy’s statement and they still were talking about William, Kyle, Logan, Sydney and me.
Mommy woke us up when we stopped at a restaurant. Mommy checked our diapers and we held mommy’s hand while DJ held daddy’s hand. We were shown a table and soon we were put into highchairs and had dinner.
We had dinner, then after mommy and daddy checked our diapers and changed us. We fell asleep as soon as daddy pulled out of the parking lot.
William, Kyle and Logan, who were awake, looked at us and William said, “I think they love being babies. Don’t they?”
Mommy looked at us, and said, “I think they do. Your father and I don’t mind if they are. They aren’t hurting anyone and when they want to grow up, they can. You guys can stay babied, too, if you want.”
William and Kyle looked at each other and Kyle said, “It might be fun. At times, I guess we could. I got to see how my friends would react, but I might invite them to a sleepover.” He looked at William and said, “Right?”
William said, “Right. I think if they hate us for sleepwetting, it should be as soon as possible. Could I invite Clay, Graham, Jarred, Brad and the others for a sleepover?”
Logan said, “I guess I will have a sleepover there, too. Ashley invited me to one.”
Mommy looked at them and said, “They’ll love you even if they found out about your sleepwetting. Kyle and William, Lisa said that Clay, Graham and Jarred wants to invite you to a sleepover. Tomorrow, they might cruise to see you. They are waiting to see you.”
They continued to talk until they pulled into the driveway and stopped the car. Daddy carried me and Sydney into the house, while mommy carried DJ. Soon the cribs came out and Sydney and I were placed into ours and we slept the whole night.
When daddy woke me and Sydney up, I forgot we were at the lake. Daddy changed our diapers and just left us in just diapers. Mommy had DJ in just a diaper and soon I saw that Kyle and William were just in a diaper. Soon I was in my highchair as mommy and daddy fed me, DJ and Sydney.
After breakfast, daddy took us to the beach and DJ, Sydney and I started to play in the sand. The weather was a bit cool, but soon, the sun warmed up the air and William and Kyle, with suits over their diapers, jumped into the water, followed by Logan.
The Yetzers along with another family cruised up to our cottage, so daddy and mommy helped tie the boats up. Sydney, me and DJ didn’t hear the boats, until Kayla said, “You need diapers, too?”
Sydney looked at Kayla and hugged her, so I did the same. Kayla looked at 3 other girls who were 6, and said, “Sydney and Sawyer, these are my cousins Amelia, Allison and Arianna.”
Logan, Ashley and Ashley’s cousin, 8 year old Sarah, started to talk, then they jumped into the lake.
Daddy, Mr. Yetzer and Mr. Yetzer; Amelia, Allison and Arianna’s daddy; left to put in our boat, as our mommies sat at the table and talked. DJ started to play with Cooper, Chandler and Amelia’s 6 year old brother, Carson and Carson’s 4 year old brother, Aiden.
Mommy, Kayla’s mommy and Amelia’s mommy watched us as they were talking. Soon, daddy drove the car back and came to the beach, as Kayla and Amelia’s daddies drove the boat. When our boat was at the dock, William and Kyle, who were playing with Clay, Graham and Jarred along with their cousins, 12 year old Alex and 10 year old Neal, Kyle said, “Dad, are we going to cruise the lake? Clay said they want to show us something near the other end.” Kyle got on the dock and his swimsuit slipped off showing his diapers.
Graham looked at Kyle and said, “You need diapers, too? We need them, too. I was nervous you would hate us if you knew.”
William said, “We need them at night, but we can wear them around the lake if we want too. We were nervous, too.” William pulled off his swimsuit and threw it on the dock.
Daddy laughed and said, “Kyle, we are going to cruise around. William, we told you that you aren’t alone. Dear, do you want to cruise with us?”
Mommy said, “Our girls and DJ need a nap, so you can take the boys and Logan.” Mommy said, “They need to nap, they like naps.”
Kayla’s mommy laughed and said, “Kayla does at times. Cooper and Chandler still do. Amelia, Allison, Arianna Aiden and Carson do, too.”
Amelia’s mom said, “They still love to nap. After school, they all want a snack and then a quick nap before doing homework. If we move here, we want to homeschool them. We are thinking of doing it, since Alex’s high school is bad. He is going to it in September. My practice might move here, but I’ll have to fine new clients.”
Kayla heard our mommies talking about naps, so she said, “You still take naps? I like them at times. Mommy, do you think we can nap here?”
Kayla’s mommy said, “Another time. Do you want to have a nap when we get home?”
Soon daddy left to cruise the lake, while mommy put us down for a nap after we said bye to Kayla and her cousins.
