“Reboot” Redux

“I come from the Net. From systems, people, and cities, to this place.

Mainframe.

My format? Guardian. To mend and defend.

To defend my new-found friends. Their hopes and dreams.

To defend them from their enemies.

They say the User lives outside the Net, and inputs games for pleasure.

Nobody knows for sure, but I intend to find out ....

Reboot!”

****

“Look out, Enzo! There is a another Game cube coming in!”

“Alphanumeric Bob! Lets go, and beat the User!”

***

“Ready? Reboot!”

“What the heck? It turned us into girls, Bob.”

“Must be that the game characters are girls. Cant worry about it, we have a User to beat.”

Later ....

“What happened Bob? When the game ended we should have turned back into us. But we stayed girls! What do we do now?”

“I dont know. But we cant let Mainframe down. Maybe your sister Dot can show us how to be girls, at least until we can figure out how to get back to being us.”

“Okay, Bob.”

*****

Later (again)....

“Wow, Bobbie. Makeovers are Alphanumeric, arent they ?”

“Darn right, girlfriend! “

End.
