You

Author’s note: This one is quite dark, and a little rough. Reader discretion is advised. For some reason, I wanted to try it in second-person perspective. We’ll all just have to see how it goes.

You make your way to room inside a concrete bunker, having been checked, rechecked, searched, stripped, hosed and put into a hazmat suit. You wait while a door slides open, letting you into a small chamber. After the door behind you closes, the door in front of you opens, and you can see into a room.

In the middle of the room is a girl.

She is naked, Lust personified. A wet dream come to life.Wanton appetite desperate for physicial attention.

You start to head toward her, and suddenly, you feel a shock running through your body.

“Sorry about that. Its a defence mechanism to keep the orderlies from touching the patient.” A voice says over an intercom.

You watch her for a moment, and then turn, and leave the room.

Later, you are talking with the man whose voice you heard over the intercom.

“Strange case.” You say.

“Yes. We think she produces a pheromone that makes her almost irresistible to anyone who comes too close. And the effect isnt just on men, either. We tried having females look after her, but they fell under her spell almost as quickly as the men did. Finally, we had to install the shock plate to protect her.”

“Interesting.” You say.

“And that’s not all. She has some kind of healing factor we cannot even begin to explain. She tried to commit suicide with a sharp edge of a mirror, and the cut healed before she was finished making the stroke. “

“Remarkable.”

“And that’s still not the weirdest thing. We ran her fingerprints when we found her, and they came back as a man’s.”

“Oh? Whose, if I may ask.” You say.

“Name was Alan Jenkins. According to our records, he was 35 years old, and the reason his prints where in the system was because he’d been accused of raping young kids. The last victim was a boy, and he was found half beat to death.”

“How could he go from that to being the ... creature in that room?” you ask.

“Dam if we know. He was given bail at his trial, and skipped. No one saw or heard anything more about him until we found this woman with his fingerprints.”

Soon, you leave the facility, and once outside, you allow a smile to cross your face. Then your body changes, and soon you look like a woman with wings and sharp claws for hands. You recall the prayer for vengeance from the bloody mouth of a girl who happened to look like a boy. Somehow, her need breached the barrier between where you were and this world, and you found yourself answering her call.

You resolved to go visit her in the hospital, and show her what has become of her attacker, and you hope she will be pleased with the results. Originally, you planned to return to the place you came from after you fulfilled this prayer, but now that you are here, you can hear all around you the cries of the innocent seeking vengeance.

You think to yourself, “obviously there is still a lot of work to do.”

A Cry in the Dark

Author's note. This is a sequel to "You", and has some tough emotional moments, including the allusion to a sexual assault. Read with care.

It was quiet in the hospital, with only the soft sounds of the machines to keep the girl in the bed company. Once in a while a nurse would come in, but otherwise, the girl had no visitors. This gave the girl a chance to think, especially about how she ended up here.

It started with one tragic fact. Although she knew she was a girl, to the people around her, she appeared to be a boy.

And she had started to despair of being able to change their minds.

Finally, one summer day, while her parents were gone, she snuck into her sister’s room, and tried on her stuff.

Seeing herself as herself made her weep.

Then she made the decision that would end up leading to her laying in this hospital bed.

She decided to go out dressed.

Things went well at first. She went to the local store, and nobody seemed see anything wrong with her. In fact, the person at the counter called her “miss”, and her heart soared.

She was on the way back to her house when the man came, and grabbed her.

Laying in the hospital, she reflected on the irony. Of all the things she had been afraid of going out the door, passing so well as to be a target had not been one of them.....

By the time she was able to get away, she had been savaged, both inside and out.

The man had been taken into custody, but even the police treated her like a freak once they realized she wasnt a full girl. No one seemed to think she was worth punishing the man for.

Worse, her own parents blamed her for the attack, saying if she hadnt been “behaving like a sissy.”, she wouldn’t been hurt.

They refused to even see her after that.

So then she began to speak to whatever might be listening of her need for justice.

For vengeance.

And she felt sure that someone, something had heard her, and she rested for the first time since her attack.

Days went by and then weeks, and slowly, her body got better. Her mind, however, remained a fractured mess. It didnt help that the hospital really wanted to release her, but her own parents simply refused to let her come home.

So she remained while they tried to find a place for her to go.

So she lay here, trying to sleep, wondering what could possibly happen to her, when someone came into her room.

It was like a woman, but it had wings, and claws, and she squeaked in fear.

“You have nothing to fear from me.” it said.

“Who .... what are you?”

“I heard your call. And I answered it. I have taken vengeance on the man who hurt you.”

“What?”

“Let me show you.” it said, and suddenly the girl’s mind was flooded with images. The man who had used her, transformed into a woman. No, not a woman, an obscene parody of womanhood. A wet dream brought to life, an object lusted over by every man and woman who came near, and worse, unable to even end that existence.

At first, she was happy that he had been punished, but she looked again at the images, and something broke within her.

She found herself weeping for the man who had hurt her.

The creature seemed confused, saying “I’ve given you what you asked for. Yet you weep?”

The girl just kept crying, and then the creature faded.

Finally, the girl managed to speak, even though the creature was no longer there.

“I’m sorry.”

“I was wrong.”

“This... thing that happened.”

It was wrong.”

“I take it back.”

“Please.”

“I take it back.”

But there was no reply, only the sounds of the machines, and the girl, weeping.

“Please. Take it back.”

Strange Visitors

Author's note: This is a sequel to "A Cry in the dark", which was a sequel to "You." Since "You" was done in second person perspective, and "A cry in the Dark" was done in third person, I figured this one should be first person, just to round the whole thing out. As always, comments are appreciated ...

I lay in my bed, and relaxed, which was a big change from how it used to be.

Things had been going pretty bad for me, first because I was transgendered, and unable to convince anyone in my family of the truth, and then because I had gotten sexually assaulted my first time out as a girl.

I got away, but it felt like the police didnt care, and my parents sure didnt.

I was alone, in pain, and I cried out for vengeance.

And I was answered.

A couple of days after I came into the hospital, I had a visit from a strange woman with wings and claws, and she showed me how she had transformed my rapist into a parody of womanhood, an irresistible siren who drove anyone around her mad with lust.

For a moment, that made me happy, but the more I thought about it, the worse I felt, and I begged the creature to take back my wish for vengeance.

But she left me without answering.

So I felt as low as I had ever felt, even worse than after the assault, and I seriously began to figure out how I could .... end everything.

Then, just when I was ready to follow through on my plans, my luck suddenly began to change.

This time, instead of one bird-like woman, I was visited by two.

I dont know how they got into my room, but there they were, and they spoke in unison, saying, “We come to correct the error our sister made. How can we repair the damage she did?”

I thought about it for a while and then said, “End my rapist’s punishment. I cant bear thinking of what happened to him.”

“It shall be done. And we shall give you a gift as well.” they said, and then they vanished.

I felt much better.

Then, I got the most amazing news.

My parents came and apologized for everything. How they had rejected me, how they refused to see me as a girl, all of it.

They wanted me to come home, and be their daughter.

Why had they changed so much? I couldnt imagine how it happened, and to be honest, it took me awhile to trust them again.

But they’ve been true to their word, and I couldnt be happier.

I dont know how my visitors did it, but I’m very grateful for everything.

But I kinda hope I dont see their sister again.
