“Oh, what the hell happened.” Jack slowly wakes up and sits up.
As he starts sitting up, a bunch of long black hair blocks his view. He also notices that there is something weird about his voice. He looks at his hands and arm.
“What the hell?” as he hears a high-pitched female voice.
He looks around and notices two other younger girls lying near him. All of them are dressed in neon-colored full bodysuits. One of the teenage girls looked oriental and the other one had silver hair that covered her back.
Jack looks around and notices they are inside a bamboo cage. All around him, he could see people carrying things and tents. He spotted the beach not far from where the cage was. The people walking around looked to be Asian and Arabic.
As for himself, he notices that somehow, his body and gender have been changed. He knew there was a drug going around called Blue Lace that could do this, but his instincts were telling him it wasn’t that. He moves over to where the oriental woman is lying and notices that the person has features similar to Cheshire.
He moves over to the other teenage girl and rolls her over. He noticed that she had features that were similar to what his buddy Nick and some of Nick’s sons and granddaughters have. Jack looks at the full-body bodysuits they were wearing and figures the color they were wearing would make them stand out in the jungle at the perimeter of the camp.
Jack sits and watches as the people move around, he spots a jeep with several people in it. He tried to see who they were, but couldn’t. He hears moaning coming from the young girl, Nick.
“Afternoon, sleepy head.” Jack watches as Nick goes through the same process, he did try to figure out what happened to him.
After a few seconds, Nick screamed. A smile appears on Jack’s face because he did the same thing. Nick looks over towards the black hair girl sitting near him. He noticed the other woman who looked to be oriental.
“You know, I did the same thing, Nick.” Jack looks over at his friend.
“What the hell happened to us and where are we? Also, who is that?” Nick points to the other girl lying near Jack.
“To answer your question, let me answer them in order. Besides being kidnapped, it looks like we were turned into teenage girls. For what reason, I don’t know. As for where we are, I’m guessing somewhere on an island in the Pacific. As for who the other girl is, that’s Cheshire. I recognize some of her features, just like I did yours.” Jack was good at recognizing the personal features of people.
“Okay, Mr. Smarty pants. Why turn us into teenage girls and give us these stupid body suits to wear?” Nick pulls on the body suit he was wearing.
“That, I don’t have an answer for.” Jack was still watching everything going on around them.
Nick looks around as well and observes things too. He spots several satellite dishes and zip lines running overhead. He wondered what they were being used for. When he hears Cheshire moan and slowly sit up, he looks towards Jack.
“She lives.” Nick was still getting used to his female voice.
Jack moves close to Cheshire “Easy, Chesh.”
Cheshire hears a young woman's voice next to her, calling her Chesh. There was only one person she knew who called her Chesh. She turns and spots a young woman with long black hair and amber eyes looking at her. She stares intently into the amber eyes and realizes it is Jack.
“What the hell has happened to me, Jack?” Cheshire looks at herself and notices she looks like she did back when she was seventeen years old.
“I don’t know, Chesh. But whoever they are, they did it to me and Nick as well.” Jack moves so Cheshire can see Nick sitting near him.
Nick stands up and walks over to the door of the cage and notices it has no keyhole. As he continued to examine the lock, he noticed that it had Arabic writing on it.
“Jack, who do we know that speaks ancient Arabic?” Nick knew all their enemies.
“There’s at least six people I know of, but none of them can transport us here like they did or turn us into teenage girls. Unless they used the blue lace drug, which I don’t think they did.”
“Why do you say that, Jack?” Cheshire looks at Jack.
“Because everything I have learned about the drug. It doesn’t work on natural-born women and to get an exact copy of someone. You would
need to program it to do it. There’s no way anyone would know what I and Nick would look like as a girl, even if they used an AI program to see what we would look like.” Jack stands up and helps Cheshire up off the bamboo floor.
“Also, how would that person know where all of us were?” Cheshire knew she was careful about her movements.
“True.” Nick knew no one knew about him and Jack meeting with Clair about the fight.
The temperature increases throughout the afternoon. An ugly, older man with a scar on his right cheek, comes over and tosses a water skin into the cage. He sneers at three teenage girls and can’t wait when they are permitted to hunt them down.
Jack walks over to the water skin and opens it. He sniffs the contents and takes a shallow sip.
“How does it taste?” Nick watches his friend to make sure there isn’t a delayed reaction.
“Warm.” Jack takes another shallower sip and hands it off to Cheshire.
Cheshire takes a shallow sip from the waterskin and hands it off to Nick. She didn’t taste anything she shouldn’t. She knew most drugs didn’t have a taste to them, but some did.
Nick takes a shallow sip from the waterskin. He couldn’t taste anything unusual in the water. He closes the waterskin and holds onto it.
Later in the evening, a small bowl of rice is given to each of them. Jack is the first to taste the rice. He makes sure that it is safe, before letting Nick and Cheshire eat.
They had to eat with their fingers, since the person who gave them, the food didn’t give them any utensils. While they are being held captives, they watch the activities going on in the camp they are being held at. When it starts getting dark, two huge guys with guns come to the cage.
“Come with us, bitches, and don’t try anything. I won’t hesitate to shoot you.” The guy moves aside to let them out of the cage. The other guy who unlocked the cage door was guarding them.
Cheshire, Jack, and Nick do what the two men say. They wanted to find out who they were dealing with and who was in charge. Even if they wanted to do anything, the two men would overpower them.
They are escorted to a huge tent. When they walk into the tent, they are forced to kneel before a woman dressed in a black silk revealing dress. The dressed itself had a deep V neck designed to it, revealing her ample pale skin breasts. She looked to be Arabic and she had long black hair. There was a large Caracal lying in front of her feet.
Sataria smiles as she watches as Jack, Nick, and the woman known as Cheshire are escorted before her. She has waited forty years to get her revenge on the two people who trapped her.
Jack and Nick recognized the woman sitting on the throne on the raised platform. Both of them thought she had died.
“How do you like your new body, Jack?” An evil smile appears on Sataria’s beautiful face.
“I think you made a mistake. I can still kill you.” Jack looks directly toward Sataria.
“Only if you were in your natural body, Jack. As you can see, I survived that cave that you and Nick left me sealed in.”
“Too bad we didn’t do more,” Nick remembered the carnage Sataria and her followers left behind in their cleansing war.
“I bet you do, Nick. Since I believe in being fair. I’m going to give you and your friends a chance to live and be returned to your old self.”
“You know, if you do that Sataria. I’ll be coming after you and I won’t be alone either.” Jack knew Sataria made the mistake of going after Cheshire.
“Oh, I’m fully aware of how dangerous you three are, Jack. You have been given the nickname of The Devil’s Bounty Hunter. As for you, Nick.
You chase people with the law. And for Mrs. Cheshire, besides myself, I have never met someone who is so feared. When they learn you are coming after them.”
“So, why turn us into seventeen years old girls?” Cheshire wanted to know why.
A huge evil smile appears on Sataria’s face “because, the three of you are very dangerous as adults but as teenagers, especially as girls. You’re not much of a threat. However, I’m going to give you a chance to be restored to your rightful bodies. But there is a catch. You see since I know how well trained you three are. I’m going to allow these men to hunt you.”
Sataria waves her hand and a group of ten men come walking into view. All of them were dressed in hunting gear and carrying hunting rifles.
“So, it's fair for them to have weapons, but we have to be turned into seventeen-year-old girls?” Cheshire looks at the men. some of them she knew from rumors and the others she has busted herself for poaching on protected animals.
“You can use whatever weapon, you can make or get your hands on, Mrs. Cheshire.” An evil smile appears on Sataria’s face.
“And when is this hunt supposed to take place?” Nick looks at Sataria.
“Tomorrow morning, Nick. You three will be given a two-hour head start. If you can make your way to the temple at the center of this island. You’ll find a mystical gem that will restore you to your old self. However, if you don’t. Well, you’ll remain in the form that you are now. I suggest you three get some sleep, and prepare to leave tomorrow morning.”
The two guys who escorted them into the tent. They escort them back out to the cage and lock them in.
“You’re lucky I’m not hunting you three. I would have fun with your young bodies.” The guy turns and leaves.
“I’ll take the first watch.” Cheshire didn’t trust the people they were dealing with.
“Are you sure, Chesh?” Jack didn’t mind taking the first watch.
“I’m sure. I’ll wake you in a few hours.” Cheshire wanted to know more about this Sataria.
Clair’s Ranch
Clair and Gina were doing everything they could to locate Jack and Nick. Clair had called Robert to inform him that his father had disappeared right out of her house. She tried to explain to him, that she had no idea how his father had just vanished out of her office.
Gina was on the phone with her aunt Anika and informing her about what happened. Anika informed her that she’d meet Clair at Eruption Communications so they could use the satellites they had access to find Jack and Nick. As for Gina, she was going to fly back to California to meet up with Tizzy.
Gina had called Camelot and spoke to Morgana. She told Morgana what happened and what she needed from her. She knew Morgana had her people looking for the terrible trio.
Clair looks at Jasmine as she packs an overnight bag “Jasmine, get in touch with Ada and Alya and ask them if they wouldn’t mind helping you to go through the mission files down in the den.”
“How far back should I go?” Jasmine knew there were a bunch of files down in the den.
Clair stops and thinks about the question. There have only been ten times that members of the team have vanished without any explanation.
“Check these mission files.” Clair grabs a pencil, and a notepad and starts writing down the information.
She hands the piece of paper to Jasmine.
Jasmine looks at the information her grandmother wrote down. She couldn’t believe the range of dates on them.
“Boy, you guys did things the hard way, didn’t you?”
“What do you mean?” Clair looks at her granddaughter for clarification.
“I mean, wouldn’t it be easier to do a computer search for these files?” Jasmine knew they had some rudimentary computers during her grandmother’s time.
Clair lets out a snort when Jasmine says that. She remembers when computers first came out.
“Sweetie, the old computers of those days, wouldn’t work right now. Plus, we couldn’t afford a computer for the den at the time. Jack and Nick were personally funding our operation” Clair remembers their budget at the time.
“How did you get anything accomplished?” Jasmine knew her grandmother was old school in a lot of ways.
“Reading, forensics, math, investigation, and deductive reasoning. I have to leave soon, to catch my plane to New York, so I can meet Anika at Eruptions.”
“Yes ma’am.” Jasmine leaves Clair to pack.
Jasmine calls Ada’s number first. After speaking with Ada, she called Alya to see if she could help out as well.
Unknown Island, South Pacific:
“Guys, wake up.” Nick looks over towards Cheshire and Jack.
Cheshire’s eyes open immediately and stands up. She didn’t allow herself to sleep deeply. She was always a light sleeper.
“Jack, get up.” Cheshire rubbed her shoulder where she had been leaning against the bamboo while she slept.
“I’m awake.” Jack looks towards Nick and Cheshire.
He stands up and watches as the two guards who came to escort them to the tent yesterday. The guard with the scar unlocks the bamboo cell they were in and opens the door.
“Get going and leave the water skin. You get two hours before we come after you.”
Nick drops the waterskin and walks out first, followed by Cheshire, and finally Jack. The three of them are escorted to the edge of the camp.
“Get going.” The scar-face guy sneers at the three.
Jack takes point since he was better trained. He knew Nick and Cheshire were highly trained, but he had the most experience of surviving in hostile areas. Cheshire followed Jack with Nick bringing up the rear. It was early dawn when they started and it was already humid out.
“Jack the first thing we should do is find some fresh water and something to make weapons out of.” Nick knew they would need water.
“Let’s get as far as we can before they let the hunters loose, first.” Cheshire wanted to put as much distance between them and the hunters.
Jack was already a little ahead of them. He was checking everything out and making sure they didn’t leave a trail for the hunters to follow. After about forty minutes of moving at a fast pace, all three of them were starting to slow down.
“Guys, I have to stop.” Nick was panting from the fast pace they were setting.
“I have to agree with Nick, Jack.” Cheshire was feeling light-headed and tired as well.
Jack had a stitch in his side as well and was overheated. The jumpsuit wasn’t helping at all. It was retaining the heat from their bodies, causing the wearer to overheat.
“Alright, we’ll take a short break.” Jack hated that they were stopping.
“Now I know why Sataria gave us these bodies.” Nick couldn’t believe how he was feeling.
“Speaking of Sataria, what’s her deal?” Cheshire looks towards Jack for an explanation.
“She’s an ancient Sumerian immortal who has a problem with the current occupants who currently occupy land that formally belonged to the
Sumerian empire.” Jack knew, once Sataria was done with them. She would resume her elimination of people who didn’t carry the Sumerian gene in their bodies.
“Come again?” Cheshire couldn’t believe what she was hearing.
“It’s true, Cheshire. We couldn’t believe the stories about her when we first encountered her and her followers.” Nick remembered when they first came across the carnage that her followers left behind.
“Are you sure, she is immortal?” Cheshire looks at Nick and Jack.
“Oh, we’re sure she is immortal or has been modified. We’ve blown her up, cut her limbs off, buried her alive, and even burned her. She has come back from each within a few weeks of healing.”
“I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t trust Sataria to honor her word.” Nick was feeling a little better from their break.
“Neither do I. However, I do agree we need to put more distance between us and those hunters.” Jack knew there was more to Sataria that he hadn’t told Cheshire yet. Like how she managed to kidnap them, without anyone knowing.
“How much more is there that you aren’t telling me?” Cheshire catches up with Jack.
“A lot. Let’s just say, she was our first exposure to people with unique talents.” Jack sets a moderate pace for them.
“Yeah, she almost killed us with a freaking bomb,” Nick remembered that incident.
London, England:
“Mom, come quickly!” Mouse was holding onto Zoey as the younger girl fought her to get loose.
Mouse had scratch marks on her forearms where Zoey had dug her fingernails into her forearm and drew blood. They were having breakfast together in the kitchen when out of the blue Zoey started acting weird. Zoey upended the kitchen table like it was nothing and then started attacking Mouse.
Charlotte comes running into the kitchen and spots Mouse restraining a highly agitated Zoey. She also spotted the upended kitchen table, along with whatever the girls had been eating scattered on the floor.
“What happened, Mouse?” Charlotte saw the bloody claw marks on Mouse’s forearm.
“I don’t know mom.” Mouse was trying not to hurt her younger sister, but it was getting difficult.
Charlotte rushes over and strikes Zoey’s pressure points to immobilize her. She watches as her daughter stops moving and passes out.
“Go get the straight jacket out of the practice room.” Charlotte looks at Mouse as she holds Zoey’s limp body.
“Alright, mom.” Mouse grabs a few towels to wrap her bloody arms, before rushing off to grab the straight jacket.
Charlotte looked down at Zoey’s face and could tell the poor girl was agitated about something. She has never seen Zoey act this way before and wonders if it has something to do with Zoey’s gift. They were still trying to understand how Zoey’s gift worked. There weren’t very many in the world that had a gift as strong as Zoey’s. Even the researchers at her office couldn’t explain why Zoey’s gift was so strong.
“Here you go, mom.” Mouse returns with the straight jacket they keep at the house in the practice room.
Mouse and her mother were able to escape from the straight jacket without any problems. Zoey and Asher haven’t been able to escape from it, yet. Mouse knew her mother had been teaching them some escape moves and moves to protect themselves if they were ever attacked.
Asher had spent the night with her friend, Aria last night. They had gone to a concert last with some of their friends. Aria’s mother was hosting the sleepover.
After Charlotte secures Zoey in the straight jacket. She picks her daughter up and carries her to a secure room. She hates doing this to Zoey, but she wants to protect her baby.
Mouse had followed her mother and helped her with the door. She was wondering what had set her sister off. She knew Zoey could predict the future and her gift has helped the SIS on several missions.
Once Zoey was secure and resting. Charlotte comes walking out of the room and secures it. She looks at Mouse “Let’s tend to your injuries.”
“Yes ma’am.” Mouse follows her mother to the medical room at their London home.
Mouse knew her mother would want to know everything that had set Zoey off.
Clair’s Ranch:
Ada and Alya had come over when they got off from work. They were still surprised at what they learned about Clair. They were even more amazed when Jasmine led them down into the den.
“You know I did found these doors, but couldn't get in.” Ada watches as Jasmine unlocks them.
“It wouldn't have done you any good getting past these doors, Ada. The lock that secures them was specially designed by one of the best escape artists at the time. Even she had a hard time escaping and breaking into this room.” Jasmine leads the other two women into the den.
The lights automatically come on as they walk into the chamber. While Jasmine had been waiting for Ada and Alya to arrive, she had pulled the reports on the list her grandmother gave her. She leads the other two women over to a handcrafted round table. It had a thick clear top that protected the unique wood that it was made of under it.
“Wow! I’m impressed. What type of wood is that?”
“Sequoia.” Jasmine had asked her grandmother when she first saw it.
“As in the huge redwoods out in California?” Ada was amazed as well.
“I guess. The clear coating covering the table is bullet and shatterproof.” Clair had told Jasmine of when they had to use the table as a shield when they accidentally reactivated a robot that was designed to kill them.
The three women sit down at the round table. Ada and Alya noticed there was a huge stack of sealed boxes, stacked on the table.
“So, what are we looking for, Jasmine?” Ada was good at finding things.
“The sudden disappearance of people from either a locked room or without an explanation.” Jasmine wasn’t sure what they should look for.
“That’s a lot of ground to cover, Jasmine.” Ada knew it was going to take time to read everything.
“I know, but how do you explain two people who were sitting in a locked room before my grandmother disappeared in thin air without an explanation? And then a wolf going crazy after they disappear?”
“That is a good question.” Alya didn’t have an answer to that question.
“Well, hopefully, we will be able to read whatever your grandmother’s friends wrote down.” As Ada uses a letter opener Jasmine had placed on the table to cut through the wax seal of the boxes.
Unknown Island, South Pacific:
“God, I am so glad we found this water.” Nick scoops up a handful and drinks it.
“I’m just happy it is drinkable.” Cheshire was thirsty as well.
Jack was standing guard listening for anyone coming their way. He knew the two hours were up and the hunters would be on their trail. He did what he could to make it hard for them to track them.
“We need to hurry up and leave.” Jack knew two hours weren’t going to slow down the hunters looking for them.
“True, but we need to take some of this water with us, Jack.” Nick looks at his moody friend.
“He’s right, Jack. We don’t know when we’ll get a second chance for water.” Cheshire knew their new bodies couldn’t handle the conditions they were under. Their old ones could, but these weak bodies they had been given, couldn’t.
“Do what you can. I just know it won’t take those hunters long to track us.” Jack was thirsty himself but of the three. He had the better hearing and experience.
“Let’s get busy.” Nick knew the body he had was already hurting from the strain they were under.
Cheshire and Nick go about making a makeshift wooden container to carry enough water in for them. It wasn’t going to last but with at least three of them. They could ration the water.
While Cheshire and Nick were busy making water containers. Jack gathers up material they could use to make some weapons from. He tried to tear the bodysuit they were wearing, but it wouldn’t tear. So, instead, he found some vines and strong tree branches he could fashion some bows. The arrows were going to have to be featherless for now. But at least he could put some fletching on them later. He also makes three spears for them.
Cheshire runs as fast as she can with two hunters on her heels. She wasn’t as fast as she used to be ducking and dodging the tree limbs and roots. “Come on, just a little further.”
The two hunters chasing Cheshire fire at her and barely miss her. The bullet hit the tree limb right above her head. He goes to fire again and suddenly is hanging upside down by his feet. The other hunter that had been chasing Cheshire runs right by him. A grin appears on his face.
He knew he wouldn’t fall for a trick like that. He brings his gun up and gets a perfect sight of Cheshire. “Say goodnight, bitch.”
Just as he says those words, a thick tree limb swings down and hits him right in the chest. Lifting him off the ground and right into a tree with spikes poking down. The spikes go through his chest, as he hangs there.
“Two down, and several more to go.” Jack was keeping a lookout.
The other hunters that were tracking them were hanging back to see how these two did. Nick strips the one with the spikes going through his chest of everything he has. Afterward, he pulls him down and covers him up.
As for the other one hanging by his ankles. Cheshire walks over to him “Now, we are going to have a little talk, or I’m going to take this knife of yours and slit your throat wide open.” Cheshire pulls the knife from the Hunter’s belt.
The guy just smiles at Cheshire “I’m not telling you anything bitch.”
“Oh, we’ll see about that.” As Cheshire goes to work.
By the time Nick and Jack make their way back to Cheshire. She is covered in blood from skinning a piece of flesh from the guy’s chest.
“Someone had some fun.” Nick looks at Cheshire with a smile on his face.
Cheshire looks at Jack and Nick “We’re heading into an ambush, guys. They are waiting for us to show up and it's not just a handful of people either. It’s everyone we have ever pissed off.”
“That’s a lot of people.” Nick knew there were a bunch of people they have pissed off.
“I wonder what Sataria offered them?” Cheshire looks at Jack and Nick for an answer.
“Who knows, but she is capable of doing all sorts of things.” Nick knew how dangerous Sataria could be.
“Jack, what is Sataria capable of?” Cheshire looks at her oldest friend.
“She’s got the powers of a Jinni.” Jack knew Sataria was trapped and made a bargain with a jinni.
“Wait a minute, how can she have the powers of a jinni?” Cheshire knew a little bit about Middle Eastern spirits and such.
“According to Nancy’s research. She made a deal with a Djinn and was granted the ability to grant one wish to a person. The wish has stipulations, but things like being immortal or having their youth restored aren’t beyond what she can grant.” Jack knew from experience.
“I’m starting to hate this woman.” Cheshire couldn’t wait until she got her original body back. She was going to make this woman pay.
“That’s probably why she did what she did to us. She knew the abilities each of us were given, would be able to counter her abilities.” Nick figures that was the reason they were turned into the young women they were.
“That’s if what she told us is true. Remember, Sataria doesn’t like us.” Jack knew the grudge Sataria could hold.
“If she doesn’t honor her word, I’m going to get some major retribution from her.” Cheshire was going to make this woman pay and she didn’t care how powerful or the fact Sataria couldn’t die. She’ll find a way to make the bitch pay.
“Well, we better hide this one, before we leave.” Cheshire cuts down the hunter she tortured.
Nick and Jack help her hide the body and clean up the area of any blood from the person. Afterward, they gather up everything they took from the two hunters. They head deeper into the island but take a different route than anyone would guess.
When it starts getting dark, they take to the trees. Luckily, they managed to find some food on the two hunters. It wasn’t much, but it would sustain them throughout the night.
“I’ll take the first watch. Go ahead and get some sleep.” Jack looks towards Nick and Cheshire.
“Don’t be a hero, Jack.” Nick makes himself comfortable.
“I’ll try.” Jack bites into the piece of jerky the hunter had in his pouch.
While Cheshire and Nick slept, Jack listened to the jungle. It was a different environment, compared to his ranch. He hated the fact he couldn’t feel his wolves. They have always been part of him. He hopes his wife, children, and grandchildren are doing okay. He knew they would be searching for him.
He wonders if Rae’s crystal sword could kill Sataria. He knew the sword wasn’t from this word and it had magical properties that were far ahead of anything Sataria had ever encountered. He leans back against the tree trunk and thinks about it.
The jungle was dark and was impeding the other hunters' search looking for their other comrades. Frederick and Allan were crazy thinking they could kill the Cheshire and the Wolf by themselves. They should have stuck to the plan.
“Sir, we can’t find their bodies anywhere.” One of the natives who lives on another island looks at the man holding his life in his hands.
“Make camp. We’ll find them in the morning.” Denys was frustrated they were being outsmarted by three teenage girls.
“He can’t wait to find them and enjoy doing all sorts of things to their youthful bodies.”
“Owe!” Nick rubs his shoulder after firing the rifle they took off the hunters.
“Did you hurt yourself?” Cheshire looks at Nick with a smirk on her face.
Unlike Jack and Nick, she had reverted to how she looked when she was younger. So, she knew what her body could do.
“Yes, I think I dislocated my shoulder.” Nick knew how to fire a rifle, but the body he had been given was having a hard time handling the rifle.
Jack looks at the people they are ambushing. Some of the traps they set, had taken a reduced how many they had to deal with. He knew they had split up to come at them from different angles.
Cheshire is surprised by a person dressed all in black custom armor. He swings his sword at her, as she parries with the rifle she was using. She parries again as he tries to strike her. She feels his fist connect with her jaw. She couldn’t believe he struck her.
She moves in close to prevent him from using his sword and goes on the offensive against him. She couldn’t use any of her atemi abilities, but she had more tricks up her sleeve. She uses the hunting knife she took from the hunter they killed.
She manages to stab the guy in between the gaps in the body armor. She had to put a lot of force behind the stab to make the knife go through the material, but she managed to do it. She knew she was frustrating the guy because with her as close as she was, he couldn’t strike her.
Jack was hit from behind by a bullet. Luckily, it went cleanly through his right shoulder, instead of getting stuck. He dives to the side and manages to find cover as he looks for the shooter. The shot came from up in the trees.
He takes the spike he made and tosses it towards the person. It didn’t embed in the shooter's shoulder like he hoped it would. Two more shots hit the tree he was hiding behind.
Jack looks around him and notices he has nothing he could use. He watches as the shooter aims at him. He grabs a handful of ground just before the shooter pulls the trigger. He tosses it up in the air and moves.
Jack hears the sound of gunfire but doesn’t feel anything. He looked where the shooter had been and didn’t see him.
“You should see your face right now, Jack.” There was a smirk on Nick’s face.
“Thanks. How’s Cheshire?” Jack looks around for his friend.
“I’m okay.” Cheshire comes walking over to Jack and Nick.
She was limping and had blood streaming down into her eyes from a gash on her forehead. She managed to take out her attacker, but it took a lot to do it.
“You’re not fine, Ches.” Jack walks over and takes care of Cheshire.
“Looks who talking, Jack.” Nick noticed where Jack got shot.
“I’ll be fine, Nick.” Jack cleans Cheshire’s face and head wound.
“We need to get a move on.” Nick knew the hunters were regrouping to rush them.
“Take what you can.” Jack snags what supplies and weapons he can from the sniper.
Cheshire with Nick’s help, snatches what they could from the person who attacked her and Nick snatches what he could from the person he fought. By the time the other group of hunters converged on them, they were gone.
Jack was gritting his teeth as they ran. Cheshire was doing her best not to slow them down. Blood kept weeping from her head wound. Nick hung back to protect Jack and Cheshire. He had a stitch in his side and wished he had his original body back. The female body he was in, didn’t have the endurance he was used to.
The three of them managed to find a place they could hide. It was near a pool of fresh water and looked like an old Japanese listening post had once been stationed on the island they were on. There was a bunch of abandoned radio gear and such still there, but none of it looked to be in working order.
“This place looks like something from World War II.” Nick recognized the layout and the equipment.
“Which only confirms we're in the South Pacific.” Jack was busy bandaging Cheshire’s head wound.
“Jack, did this Sataria person ever go after your family?” Cheshire needed to know if her family was in danger.
“At the time, we had nothing to worry about. However, now that we have families. She might go after them. She’s a very vindictive person.” Jack and Nick were both concerned about Sataria going after their families.
“If she goes after my family. I’ll make it my purpose in life to kill her.” Cheshire was getting more and more protective of her family.
“We’ll join you.” Nick would make sure Sataria would pay for her actions.
Unknown, South Pacific Island:
Nick looks over where Cheshire and Jack are sleeping. He knew the two of them were lightly sleeping. They had managed to tear the sleeves off the jumpsuits they were forced to wear. All the weapons they took had been reloaded. Each weapon had three reloads to it. After that, they were shit out of luck.
With the other supplies they took, they managed to make a crude stew. Cheshire found some edible plants and a few lizards they could eat. Jack’s shoulder was bandaged up with what first aid gear these hunters had brought with them.
The satellite phones and GPS units were putting them about halfway to the temple in the middle of the island. The sat phones were encrypted, so it did them no good to call their families to let them know where they were or that they were safe. He takes a swig from one of the canteens they removed from the hunters.
It was lucky they found clean fresh water nearby. They had refreshed their water supply and picked some fruits and plants they could eat. The hair on Nick’s neck stands on end and the next thing he knows, one of the traps they set. Sprung to life, with a figure hanging upside down from the rope.
Before the person could cut themselves down. Nick uses the makeshift crossbow Jack had managed to build from items he found. He shoots the person with the crossbow and shakes lightly shakes Jack lightly.
“Hey, we caught a fish. Cover me.” Nick moves silently over to the dead person and lowers them down to the ground.
Jack watches the jungle for any signs of movement. One of the hunters had a pair of binoculars on him that was capable of seeing at night. He sees no movement as Nick lowers the body and covers it. He knew Nick was resetting the trap for their next victim.
“He didn’t have much on him for gear.” Nick shows all the gear the guy had on him.
The fellow had a wrist-mounted computer system that had a map of the island on it. It showed several locations of red dots.
“Now, we know areas we should avoid.” Nick was looking at the map.
“What are you two talking about?” Cheshire had heard Nick and Jack talking.
“We had a visit by one of Sataria’s contestants,” Nick answers for Jack.
“Oh? So, what did we get off this one?” Cheshire was curious.
“Some simple weapons and a wrist-mounted computer with a map and locations of several people.”
“Are we going to avoid them, or take the fight to them?” Cheshire looks at Jack for an answer.
“Avoid for now. There are far too many people for us to take down. I think it might be better if we lure them into a trap, and take out a large amount of them then.” Jack felt they would have better odds doing that.
“It would eliminate a large group of people.” Nick liked the idea.
“True, so who is going to be the bait?” Cheshire looks at her companions.
“Why the person who used to be a track star in high school.” Jack smiles at Cheshire.
“I was afraid you were going to say that.” Cheshire knew even with the body she had now, she was not as fast as she used to be.
“Don’t worry, Ches. I’m going to be bait as well. We need to draw a lot of people in, to make this plan work.” Jack wanted to pull in the hunters.
“Let’s locate where we want this shindig to take place.” Nick takes the map out that they took off one of the other killers and looks for a perfect place to arrange the shindig.
Jack’s Ranch, Montana:
Haylee was sitting out on the front porch getting some sunshine. She’s been cooped up in her bedroom recovering from the parasite that had managed to get into her body. She was slowly recovering, but she was still feeling weak. As she sat in her grandmother’s rocking chair. She notices that the wolves are distracted. Especially Chaos. He was more agitated than normal.
“What’s wrong, Chaos? Do you miss Grandpa?” Haylee knew there was a special bond between Chaos and her grandfather.
Chaos growls softly at Haylee. When one of his sons or another wolf got close to him, he snapped at them. Something was wrong and he didn’t like it.
Haylee opens up her gifts that her aunt Rae has been teaching her to use and concentrate on Chaos She could feel how he felt disconnected from her grandfather and agitated as well. Something was interfering with his link to Jack.
Haylee knew something was going on because her mother was meeting up with her aunt Gina and aunt Tizzy. The whole house was on full alert. She noticed that their neighbors were patrolling closer to the property as well. The members of their pack didn’t like encountering her father’s wolves. Which, she thought was weird. They were werewolves and the wolves on their property were natural wolves. Sure, they were bigger than normal wolves, it was just odd the pack that lived next to them feared their wolves.
Rennie comes walking out of the house with a Nutty Buddy ice cream cone in her hand. She loved them and a few others “Here you go, Haylee.” As she hands Haylee one.
“Thanks, Rennie.” Haylee accepts it and unwraps it.
Rennie sits in her grandfather’s rocking chair and rocks back and forth, slowly. She liked playing and being around Haylee. She also liked Catori as well. They had fun when they were horseback riding and helping the ranch hands with the buffalos.
“Grandma thought you might like one.” Rennie knew Haylee was still recovering from whatever made her sick.
“Grandma always knows what makes us happy. Where are your mom and dad?” Haylee knew they left the ranch last night.
“Don’t know, but Grandma said they should be back in a few days.” Rennie knew her parents had left while she was asleep.
“There goes Trigger.” Rennie spotted Trigger being chased after by one of her grandfather’s wolves.
“She should know better than to challenge Grandpa’s wolves.” Haylee knew Trigger loved teasing and playing with the bigger wolves. She was a normal wolf, compared to the others.
Rennie looks at Haylee “I overhead Grandma talking with Aunt Anika on the phone. She said that Grandpa is missing.”
“That’s impossible. No one would be dumb enough to go after Grandpa.” Haylee couldn’t believe it.
“It’s not just Grandpa either. Aunt Cheshire and Grandpa’s friend Nick are missing as well.” Rennie was surprised when she heard her grandpa was missing.
“That would explain why Mom and Aunt Gina are getting together in California. They took Arabella and Rebecca with them. Misty is staying at home with her father and the boys.”
“Do you think Grandpa and Aunt Cheshire will be okay?” Rennie looks at Haylee since she has been with their grandpa the longest.
“They will be okay. Grandpa and Aunt Cheshire are too tough to die and too mean to let anyone put them down.” Haylee knew her grandpa and aunt were tough people.
"I hope so." Rennie didn't want to loose her grandpa. She has already lost to many people already.
“RUN FASTER!” Nick was running as fast as he could in the new body he was in.
Jack was in front of him and Cheshire was ahead of both of them. She was leading them towards the river on the map. Explosions were going off around them.
Whoever was after them this time decided they weren’t going to play nice anymore. They were bombing the area with missiles and rockets. Several trees explode behind the three of them, sending them flying over a cliff and into the river they were heading for.
The water was deep and cold as they fought the current so they didn’t get swept down the river toward the ocean. All three of them were finding it difficult not to drown. Water kept entering their mouths and they were finding it difficult to fight the current.
They manage to make it up the river and to the shore on the other side. They look back down the river seeing if anyone is following them.
“I’m starting to hate this bitch and these assholes.” Cheshire was feeling pissed.
“Tell me about it. I thought Sataria was worse before. Now she just pure mean.” Nick looks towards Jack and Cheshire.
“When we finish this. I’m going to make her wish she never heard my name before.” Cheshire has never hated someone so much.
“That’s if we finish this, Ches. Sataria has it out for us and with her having magical abilities. There’s nothing she can’t do. If we had our normal bodies and abilities, we might stand a chance against her. However, being like we are, I don’t know how much more we’ll be able to take.” Jack hated to admit it, but it was getting more difficult to survive. He could already feel the body he was in reacting to the things they experiencing.
“I’ve never known you to sound so gloomy, Jack.” Nick looks at his buddy with a surprised look on his face.
“Normally, I’m not. But this body I’m in is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I’ve managed to ignore or suppress the emotions I’m feeling, but I’m reaching my breaking point.” Jack wonders if this is how his girls feel at times.
“Jack, I know what you experiencing. I’m having a hard time too, but because I grew up as a woman, I know how to deal with what you are feeling. Think how your girls felt and how they dealt with how you are feeling.” Cheshire knew it was easy for her to deal with the emotions she was feeling because she grew up as a woman.
However, all of this was new to Jack and Nick. Jack would have a better idea of how to deal with these emotions than Nick would because Jack raised daughters.
“I’m trying, Ches, I’m trying.” Jack felt emotions he had never felt before start to overwhelm him.
Nick looked at Jack and could see his best friend about ready to break down in tears. He was feeling the same, but he was trying to hold it together. He had never felt like this before and he hated it.
“Come, let’s find some shelter.” Cheshire escorts Jack and Nick into the woods and finds a safe place for them.
Once they were settled, Jack broke into tears and couldn’t stop himself. Nick follows soon after. Before long, Cheshire starts crying and the three of them hold each other for comfort.
Several miles away:
“Where the hell are those sheilas?” Bruce was looking at the drone footage as he and his men searched the area they just saturated with missiles and mortars.
“I don’t, sir.” Leo was watching the screen carefully, looking for the three bitches they were trying to kill.
The last few hunters that went after the women had ended up dead and had their equipment taken. The woman who had invited them to the island to get revenge on Jack, Nick, and Cheshire told them if they didn’t succeed. They would be turned into women and given to some men to be used like common whores.
“We got to find them. I don’t want to be turned into some Sheila and be raped.” Bruce saw what Sataria could do.
Sataria had turned some men who didn’t agree with her into women and given them to demonic-looking men. Those men didn’t wait and started raping those women right there in front of everyone. The screams from those women still echoed in his head.
“I’ll send the drones up the river and see if I can spot them.” Leo changes the directions of the drones and sends them up the river to look for the three women.
Cheshire manages to get herself under control, while Jack and Nick pass out from crying. She goes back to the river bank and erases where they landed. She looks towards the sky when she hears some buzzing coming towards her. She ducks into the woods and spots a group of drones flying towards her. She watches as they fly along the river as if looking for something. She wonders what they are equipped with. She watches as they fly by and keep going up the river. When she feels it is safe to move, she heads back to where she left Jack and Nick.
She noticed they were still asleep and as much as she wanted to sleep herself. She reloads some of the magazines they had with them and fixes herself something to eat. At least they had fresh water nearby.
“Jack, look out!” Nick throws the survival knife she had in her hand and throws it into the guy’s back.
Jack scrambles out of the way, as the guy falls forward towards her. There was a gash on the side of Jack’s right leg where she had been slashed by one of their attackers. Just as Jack moved, a guy managed to get close to her.
“Where do you think you’re going, bitch.”
Jack gets kicked in her side by the guy. She feels several of her ribs crack from the kick. She grits her teeth rolls out of the way and springs up. She turns around and delivers a roundhouse kick to the guy.
Jack followed up with a punch to the guy’s throat, as hard as she could. She feels a sharp burning sensation to her arm, as it goes numb. She turns around and spots the person who just shot at her.
Jack spots a gun lying on the ground nearby. She dives for the gun and shoots a guy coming towards her. The blood from the guy splatters on her.
There is a loud explosion nearby as drones fly by and start dropping hand grenades near her, Nick, and Cheshire. Nick aims for the drones and starts firing at them.
“I’m getting tired of this.” Nick shoots another drone.
Just as he says that more drones show up. They start dropping more grenades.
“Take cover!” Nick dives towards some trees.
Just as Nick, Cheshire, and Jack find cover. The air around them becomes heavy and a portal opens up. Nick spots Samson emerging from the portal and heading straight for the drones. Behind Samson, was Shere Khan, and just as the portal was closing was Chaos.
Shere Khan and Chaos start heading for the men still standing. There are screams as Shere Khan and Chaos attack them.
“How did they get here?” Cheshire watches Shere Khan and Chaos go to town on the men still attacking them.
Nick looks up into the sky and watches Samson take on the drones. A smile appears on his face as he watches his huge owl tear the drones up.
Jack had spotted the portal and a smile appeared on his face. He figures Rae must have been able to find him and Cheshire. He watches as Chaos takes down three more men.
“How did our pets find us?” Cheshire wonders how Chaos, Shere Khan, and she guesses the huge owl fighting the drones belonged to Jack’s buddy, Nick.
“Rae must have sent them.” Jack knew his newest daughter specialized in magic and could use it to find them.
“How come she didn’t come herself?” Nick was curious.
“I don’t know, but she did manage to send us some help.” Jack wonders if Chaos will recognize him.
After the three animals take down the attackers, they turn their attention back to the three humans. Chaos looks at Jack and a low growl builds in his throat as his lips move back.
“Sàil!” Jack looks at Chaos with the same commanding authority.
Chaos stops and looks at the woman standing in front of him. He approaches her slowly and when he gets closer to her, he sniffs her. He looks into her eyes and familiarly feels her stroke him.
Jack strokes Chaos like he has always had. He knew it would cause Chaos to know it was him.
“It’s me, boy.” Jack keeps petting Chaos.
Nick whistles a tune, only he knows to grab Samson’s attention. He watches as Samson comes flying down to him. He holds his arm out for the huge owl to land on.
Cheshire whistles at Shere Khan. The huge liger comes walking over to her and butts his head against her chest.
“I’m happy to see you too, Khan.” Cheshire scratches Shere Khan between his ears.
“Do you think your daughter can undo what Sataria did to us?” Nick looks towards Jack as she holds Samson.
“If she was here yes, I do. Her magic is different and her sword might be able to kill Sataria.” Jack knew Rae performed magic that no one had seen before.
“I wonder why she didn’t come herself? Or send anyone else.” Cheshire was curious.
“I don’t know.” Jack wonders what is going on with his children.
Back On Jack’s Ranch:
All hell had broken out on Jack’s property. A group of men dressed in black tactical gear appeared out of thin air and started attacking the main house and the farm hands. The wolves on the ranch had gathered and started going after the intruders. The ranch hands had grabbed weapons from the barn and silo. All the children and grandchildren were put in the safe rooms at Julia’s, Gina’s, and the main house.
The housekeepers at Gina’s and Julia’s houses were protecting the kids. Selina was at the main house, protecting the twins and Rae’s daughter. All hell was breaking loose and everyone was doing everything they could to protect everyone. Even Tizzy and her family had shown up. Her children were at Gina’s house being protected by Gina’s housekeeper and Arnold.
Rae and her husband were using magic and when Julia suggested she backtracked where these men came from. Rae and her husband combined their magic and managed to locate where the men came from. They were also surprised when they locked onto the location of Jack and Cheshire.
Nick’s son had come to the ranch to help find his father and brought Samson with him. It was like the bird knew Nick was in trouble. As soon as the portal opened, Shere Khan, Chaos, and Samson went towards it and entered it.
Rae and her husband tried to keep the portal open. But because of how weak the mystical energies were at Jack’s ranch, they couldn’t keep it open.
Chaos At Jack’s Ranch:
“Don’t kill them all. We need to find out who sent them and where they took Dad.” Julia fires her rifle at one intruder and aims at another person going towards her cousin Tizzy.
“Don’t worry, Julia. I think there is enough of them for us to not kill all of them.” Dave was surprised when Samson leaped from his arm and went towards the strange circle of light along with Chaos, and a large Liger that had arrived with a woman that claimed to be Julia’s and Gina’s cousin.
All of them had been surprised when several groups of people dressed in full-body tactical gear appeared out of nowhere on the ranch. He didn’t know who they were, but from the way the other wolves on the ranch reacted, they weren’t friendly. He fires at another intruder that had appeared. He saw how Jack’s people managed to keep the intruders away from the huge house.
Just as Dave is about to be overrun by three intruders, four huge wolves jump over him and land on the three intruders. He watches as they tear into the intruders. The wolves themselves didn’t look like the other wolves on the ranch.
“Who the fuck are you guys?” Dave was stunned by how big the four wolves were.
“They’re friends.” Rae had been nearby when she heard Dave ask who the wolves were.
Dave turns towards Rae with a puzzled look on his face. He knew Mr. Bounty was well-connected and raised wolves, but these wolves were bigger than Jack’s wolves.
“They’re friends? What are you talking about?”
“Less talking, more fighting.” Tizzy fires her guns at four guys coming toward Rae and Dave.
“You better listen to her, Dave. Tizzy is as bossy as Julia.” A smirk appears on her face as she cuts down a fellow with her sword.
Dave catches a grenade thrown at him by one of the men in black and tosses it back towards the man. He watches as the grenade explodes, killing the man. A smile appears on his face as he starts running towards one of the attackers.
Julia’s House:
Bella, her husband Matt, and several other ranch hands were protecting Julia’s house. Katy had moved Christmas, Haylee, Catori, and the newborns to the safe room with Waffle and Roxy to protect them. Catori’s pet cat Callie was in there with them. Christmas and Katy were watching the fighting going on outside from the hidden cameras on the property.
Bella’s pet Lobo had his mouth clapped down on one intruder with Sphinx and Terror attacking another intruder who had managed to get close to the house. Ringo and Ash were attacking several intruders that were approaching from the woods. The intruders hadn’t counted on several more wolves protecting Julia’s place.
Several huge wolves show up to protect Julia’s house. They came from out of the woods near Julia’s property. These wolves were bigger than Sphinx and Terror. Terror and Sphinx were already bigger than normal wolves because of their bloodline, but these wolves were twice as big as them.
Bella spotted the other wolves coming to their rescue. A smile appears on her face “Looks like the reinforcements arrived, guys.” Bella knew who these wolves were.
“I’m glad because I’m running out of ammo.” Clark was one of Jack’s farm hands and had grabbed an assault weapon from the horse barn when they came under attack.
“There’s more ammo and weapons in Julia’s horse barn. I’ll inform Katy to open the locker.” Bella motions towards one of the hidden cameras. She gives Katy the hand signal to unlock the locker.
Katy noticed Bella was sending her the hand signal to unlock the weapons locker in the barn. She presses a few buttons on the console and watches as the cameras come on in the barn. She spots several of the farmhands run into the barn and open the locker to grab more weapons and ammo. She also spotted several of the intruders running towards the barn as well.
She activates the remote firing system for the Gatling gun. It pops up from its hidden position and she mows down the intruders before they can get to the barn. Julia had shown her how to use all the automatic and manual concealed weapons around the house.
Christmas shakes her head back and forth. She had hoped that they would never have to use any of the hidden weapons around their property. When they had remodeled the house for her and their family. Jack had sent in some of his security people to help place weapons and other devices around the property to protect them.
Gina’s House:
Arabella was sitting in her computer room watching everything going on outside on the property. She had feeds from her grandfather’s house, the landing strip, and from all the barns and silos on the property and around all the houses.
Her father was outside the house with the farm hands protecting the place. Jenny had launched the new drones she and Arabella had designed for Mr. Bounty’s company. He had given them some grant money to develop a new drone that could be deployed for property protection. She was using a virtual reality unit they built to control the drones, instead of a console.
The unit suspended the person inside a bubble and gave them a complete 360 image of their surroundings. It was still experimental, but so far, the unit has been living up to what they wanted. It was one of the developments for their defense weapon company.
Amy, their third wife was in the safe room with their adopted daughter Kelli. Misty, Jennifer, their maid Isabella, and the boys. They found Kelli still attached to her young mother. The woman had given birth to Kelli but died from blood loss. Since the three of them knew what it was like to lose someone. They adopted Kelli with Gina’s help. The adoption agency for Kentucky didn’t want to let a lesbian couple adopt the little girl.
When Gina got involved, she threatened to sue the state. Not only that, Gina brought in some heavy guns to help the girls adopt the child.
“How’s the drone doing?” Arabella was curious.
“It’s working fine. Your father just shot another intruder.” Jenny fires at another intruder with the drone.
“You know, when are my granddad’s enemies going to learn not to attack his ranch?” Arabella takes control of the concealed Gatling guns near her grandfather’s house and mows down several intruders.
“You know what they always say. Stupid is, as stupid does.” Jenny protects her father-in-law.
Gina was at Jack’s house protecting it, while Arnold, several ranch hands, and several wolves were protecting Gina’s house. She spots Trigger attacking an intruder.
“Trigger just took down another intruder.” A smile appears on Jenny’s face.
“She may not be as big as Cadmus or Sphinx, but she is just as deadly as those two wolves.” Arabella was proud of her ordinary wolf.
“Are you having any luck in locating Chaos?” Jenny knew Chaos had a tracking device implanted inside his body.
“I’m still having a hard time locking onto his tracking device, but I think I know where he is.” Arabella has been working hard ever since Chaos,
Shere Khun, and Samson went through the mystic portal her sister Rae opened.
Arabella was using her grandfather’s satellite system to track Chaos. Even Camelot and Eruption were having a hard time locking onto Chaos’s tracking device. They had more processing power and better computers at their availability. She just had the house’s supercomputer in the basement to use.
Arabella would love to use Camelot’s quantum computers, but Morgana and her partner Arthur wouldn’t allow her to access them. Her grandfather didn’t trust computers and wouldn’t allow her to have one on the ranch. If she wanted one, she’d have to open an office and buy one.
“DAMN!” Jenny couldn’t believe their drone had been hit.
“What happened?” Arabella turns to look at her wife inside the hamster ball in her computer room.
She saw that the inside of the ball was flashing red from the hit the drone took. She hoped the drone wasn’t too damaged to be repaired.
“Main guns are down, but I still have missiles I can use. The mini-missile launcher that Terry designed is still working.” Jenny knew the drone was going to be at a disadvantage with its main guns down.
“Be careful with the missiles. There’s too much close combat going on.” Arabella turns back to her computer and monitors.
“Don’t worry. I’ll only kill the bad guys.” Jenny launches a missile at a group of intruders running towards her father-in-law.
Arnold looks up at the drone that his daughter and Jenny built. He gives it a thumbs-up as he goes back to fighting. He knew the main house was taking the brunt of the attack and that his and Julia’s houses were distractions. He suspected that whoever was attacking this time, was hoping to hurt Jack by coming after his children. Which in his opinion was stupid, because if they knew Jack. He would hunt them down to the ends of the earth to get his revenge.
As for going after Cheshire’s family, that would be stupid as well. Cheshire didn’t like people going after her family. She was just as bad as Jack about revenge. He hoped Nick’s family was safe.
Nick’s House:
Nick’s place was under attack. However, Anika figured whoever kidnapped Jack, Cheshire, and Nick might attack. She sent her people and contacted several other people she knew who could protect Nick’s family.
Terry, Dakota, Elizabeth, Mark, Jester, and Aylin were the main fighters. Terry’s younger sister Liea was there along with Sakura, and Cynthia. Cynthia and Sakura were dressed in their hero outfits, while Liea was driving Victor, who was built just like Wraith with a few extra surprises.
The team that had been sent by Sataria had been ambushed the minute they arrived. Mark, Jester, Elizabeth, and Aylin got the drop on them. When the ones that hadn’t gotten caught tried to attack them. Sakura and Cynthia knocked their asses to the ground. The rest had guns pointed at them from Wraith and Victor.
“Go ahead and make my day, jerks.” Liea’s voice is broadcast from Victor’s hidden PA system.
“I think Liea has been hanging around Terry too much.” Jester looked towards Victor and figured Liea was smiling behind the tinted windshield.
Sakura and Cynthia look toward Aylin “Hey auntie, what do you want us to do with these jerks?”
“That’s my girls.” Aylin had a proud look on her face.
“Auntie? Aylin?” Dakota looks towards Aylin with a puzzled look on her face.
“Hey, they admire me. What can I say?” A smirk appears on Aylin’s face.
“I feel sorry for them.” Terry shakes his head.
“Now the fun part. I get to teach the girls how to interrogate people.” An evil smile appears on Aylin’s face.
“You better not teach Liea how to do that. I’ll never hear the end of it from my brothers.” Terry knew his brothers would give him hell if Liea
learned how Aylin interrogated people.
South Pacific Island:
Screams fill the night air as Jack, Nick, and Cheshire push to get to the center of the island. Chaos, Sher Khan, and Samson attack the guards posted at the enemy’s campsite. As for Jack, Nick, and Cheshire, they were moving swiftly and quietly. They weren’t giving the people in the camp a chance to react.
They had studied their enemy all day and wanted until night to make their move. Chaos and Sher Khan kept the scouts and hunters busy and distracted. A few times during the day, you would hear roars coming from Sher Khan. The same thing happened to Chaos as he waited patiently for his prey.
When night came, Samson got in on the fun. He took down several hunters who had taken aim at him and took out several drones. The surprise attack at night was a risky move, but Cheshire felt it was worth the move. She felt that their enemy needed to be reminded why the three of them were considered dangerous.
By two in the morning, there were bodies all over the camp. If they weren’t dead, they were in serious pain. Cheshire took a few of the people that were injured and interrogated them.
Nick looks at Jack “And I thought you were the bloodthirsty one.”
“Nope, when you piss off the Cheshire. You take your life in your hands. She’s had enough of this crap and I can’t say I don’t blame her.” Jack was getting tired of it as well.
“Well, when this is over and we are back in our bodies. I’m going to get revenge on Sataria and make sure she never comes back.”
“The line forms behind me.” Cheshire comes walking back over to Jack and Nick.
Shere Khan and Chaos were licking their paws and face. Samson was up in a tree away from the big cat and wolf. He learned that the wolf and cat were too dangerous to be around.
Jack finds something to put some water into for all the animals. Nick whistles to Chaos and gives him the order to start digging. She remembers some of Jack’s commands for his wolves. She starts gathering the dead bodies and putting them into the hole the big ass wolf dug.
“Do you think Sataria sent any people after our families?” Nick looks towards Jack for an answer.
“Knowing that bitch, I would say yes. Don’t worry about your family Nick. I have them covered. My sister and her team are protecting your family.”
Jack knew once his ranch got attacked, word would spread to the rest of his relatives, even the ones in Europe.
Jack’s Sister’s Mansion, England:
Sophia, was in the room with Zoey, trying to undo a spell a jinn had put on Zoey so she couldn’t warn Jack Bounty. While she was doing that, the Golden Eagle squad was holding off a bunch of mercenaries that had appeared out of thin air on the grounds.
They had been warned by Anika the magical members of their team opened a portal to Charlotte’s mansion. No sooner did the Golden Eagle squad appear, that the fighting broke out. A woman by the name of Spiro was outside fighting several mercs. She wasn’t as trained as the other people who had shown up, but she was using every nasty trick and move Sasha taught her.
The mercs she was fighting didn’t know who this woman was o even if she was a member of the Bounty family. However, every time they attacked her. She pulled some nasty trick and had them either coughing from the stench of a nasty cloud surrounding them or being blown back off their feet by a powerful explosion.
As for the other mercs that had been sent. They were being attacked either by a huge fucking tiger or being shot at. One merc thought he could surprise a blonde-haired woman with a surprised kill. Just as he was pulling the trigger on his rifle. The woman spun around and shot him center mass with two pistols she was holding.
She followed up with two more shots from her pistols. He goes down from the bullets penetrating his suit. A smile appears on Tammy’s face as she aims for another merc.
Mean while, inside the room Zoey was secured in. Sophia had her hands on either side of Zoey’s head and was mumbling some strange words. She just recently learned she could cast magical spells. Her wife has been teaching her about being a dark elf. It was taking everything she had to break the spell a mystical jinni had placed on Zoey to drive her insane.
Once the spell is broken, Zoey falls towards her. The poor girl has been tormented with all sorts of images to keep her from looking for Jack and the others.
“It’s alright, Zoey. You’re safe now.” Sophia holds the teenage girl against her body.
Sophia’s babies were safe at home being protected by friends of hers and her wife’s. She removes the straight jacket that Charlotte was forced to put on Zoey to keep her from hurting herself. She picks Zoey up and carries Zoey to her bedroom. A dog she had never seen before was inside the room waiting for them.
“I don’t know who you are or where you came from, but protect her.” Sophia could tell the dog wasn’t evil.
The dog just looks at Sophia and pants. It wouldn’t allow anyone to hurt the human he had been sent to protect. He gets up on the bed and lies next to the young woman. He rests his head on her upper thigh.
Clair’s Ranch:
Ada was tired from going through all the old musky files. She, Alya, and Jasmine have been at it for the past few days and were tired. They all took time off to help locate Jack, Nick, and the woman known as Cheshire.
“I’m getting some more coffee.” Ada gets up from the dining room table and walks into the kitchen.
She starts making a new pot of coffee, after pouring out the old stuff. She’s been wearing the same set of clothes for the past few days. She was tired and ready to call it quits.
“Guys, I think I found it.” Alya had been reading about a mission where the team encountered a woman with mystical abilities. There was so much about her in the file that she had to be the one responsible.
“What did you find, Alya?” Ada comes walking out of the kitchen.
Jasmine looks at Alya as well. She was tired and was hoping Ada found something.
“According to this file, Jack and his team had several run-ins with this woman. She’s some sort of an ancient Sumerian immortal. Her name is Sataria and she found some way to enslave a mystical Jinn. It seemed that Jack and his team had confronted this Sataria before and barely won against her.”
“Does the file say where she normally operates from?” Jasmine was curious.
“No, but it does mention a way to track her. We’re going to need to go back down into the den to find it.” Alya felt her spirit animal stir.
“Send this information to Gina, Clair, and everyone else that we’re working with.”
“Already on it.” Alya copies everything to her cell phone and sends it to everyone they are working with.
Ada walks back into the kitchen and pours herself a cup of coffee. She knew Alya didn’t drink coffee, but a special blend of tea mixed. She pours a second cup for Jasmine. Afterward, she carries all the drinks back into the dining room.
She looks towards Alya, as she sets Alya’s coffee cup next to her. She wonders if the file was right about this woman being an ancient Sumerian immortal.
“Do you believe in the supernatural, Alya?” Ada sits down in her chair.
“I do believe that there are mystical forces out there. How do you explain what I can do?” Alya picks her tea up and sips some of it.
“I can’t. I’m just wondering why this Sataria person kidnapped Jack and his friends?”
“Revenge. According to the file. Jack and his team have stopped all her attempts to get revenge on the people who took over her ancestral lands. Plus, she is like the Nazis. She believes in pure-blood people and if you’re not like her ancestors. You deserve to die.”
“Man, this is heavy.” Ada takes a sip of her coffee.
“Well, now we know who has Jack and his friends. Now, we have to locate them and bring them home.”
“That’s not all we have to do. I’ve been getting reports from Jack’s family. That bitch has sent mercs and assassins to his, Cheshire, and Nick’s family to kill them.”
“Damn! Are we needed?” Alya looks At Jasmine.
“No. Our job is to locate Jack, Nick, and Cheshire. I’m heading down to the den.”
“I’ll help you.” Ada stands up and follows Jasmine down to the den.
Jack, Nick, and Cheshire along with their pets have made their way to the temple. All of them were exhausted and had numerous cuts, bruises, and small wounds covering their bodies. Even Sher Khan and Chaos had blood coming from wounds covering their bodies.
Chaos was favoring his right paw. A hunter set a trap and he stepped right into the trap. Jack tended to his injured paw, but it still bothered him.
Samson was resting on Nick’s arm as they stood inside the temple. They spotted a gem hovering over a pit in midair. The pit was to big to jump across.
“Well, at least she is keeping her word so far.” Nick looked at the pit. She walked over and kicked a pebble into it and listened to how far it fell.
“It looks like one of us is going to need to grab it, somehow.” Cheshire looked at the gem and was working out a solution in order to grab it.
“Well, maybe one of us can grab it, while two of us toss the other towards it.” Jack draws a knife from the collection he had and tosses the knife across the pit. It lands on the other side of the pit without any problems.
“So, who’s going to be the person?” Nick looks at Cheshire and Jack.
“I’ll do it.” Cheshire knew she could do it, if Jack and Nick could launch her high enough and long enough.
Jack looks at his friend “are you sure?”
“Yes, but let’s attach a rope to my waist, just in case.” Cheshire figures a rope should prevent her from falling deep into the pit.
“Alright.” Nick gathers all the rope they have together and tie them together.
Cheshire determines the distance she needs to jump with Samson’s help. She noticed that the gem was preventing Samson from getting near it. She hopes it doesn’t stop her.
“All right, let’s try this.” Cheshire ties the rope around her waist.
“All right.” Jack and Nick take their positions.
“On three. 1, 2, 3!” Cheshire runs towards Jack and Nick and gets propel into the air towards the gem.
Cheshire flies through the air towards the gem. She reaches her hand towards it and as her finger tips touch the surface, there is a massive explosion and very bright blinding light. Jack, Nick, and all the animals are blown backwards.
Jack, and Nick were watching as Cheshire flew through the air towards the gem. The animals were standing behind them. They watched as Cheshire’s hand touched the gem, there was a powerful explosion.
All of them, including the animals were blown off their feet and into the wall behind them. They all laid in a heap hurting all over. Just before they passed out, Jack felt Cheshire resting against him.
Clair’s Ranch:
“God, they have so much junk in here.” Ada and Alya were moving trunks and storage boxes out of the way to get to an old armor box.
After moving like forty armor trunks out of the way. They finally find the box they were looking for. Ada hands it to Alya “here it is.”
Alya accepts the box and hands it to Jasmine. “Here.”
Jasmine accepts it and places it on a nearby table. She notices the box has a lock on it made of silver.
“Does anyone know where the key is?” Jasmine looks towards Ada for an answer.
“It should be on your grandmother’s keyring.” Ada and Alya were putting everything back the way it was, minus the box they took out.
Jasmine knew she left the keys upstairs in the house. She turns and walks out of the den and back towards the house. Just as she enters the house. She is hit against the front of her face by unknown object. Before she could grab onto the door frame, she falls back down the stairs that lead to the tunnel that lead back to the den.
Blood was pouring out of her broken nose as she looked up towards a huge figure walking towards her. She fumbles to get the small alarm out of her pocket. Her back and head was hurting her.
She presses the button on the remote alerting Ada and Alya in the den. She watches as the huge figure kept walking towards her. She could barely focus on the figure because of the blow to the back of her head.
Ada and Alya were almost done putting everything back, when the alarm in the den starts blaring. Ada looks towards the door to the den.
“We got to secure the door.” Ada starts moving towards the door with Alya hot on her heels.
“You secure the door. I’m going out to help Jasmine.” Alya runs out the door and down the tunnel towards the house.
She mumbles the words "track" in Cree. She feels the tingling sensation of the magic from her totem as it transforms her. She spots a huge guy wearing an executioner mask and tight leather pants and heavy combat boots.
He was carrying a huge simitar that was glowing. He was almost towards Jasmine and was getting ready to strike her.
“GET AWAY FROM MY FRIEND!” Alya rushes the man and uses her staff to block the sword.
Sparks flew from the connection of the sword hitting against her bo staff. She could feel mystical energy traveling through her bo staff and into her gloved hands. The man stood several feet taller then Alya and was pressing the sword against her staff.
A snarl erupts from Alya’s mouth, that sounded like an angry fox. She could feel the death, this man has committed. She felt the weight of the man pressing hard against her staff. He was slowly forcing her to her knees. She grits her teeth and pushes back, resisting to kneel.
Ada knew she should lock the doors to the den. But she couldn’t stand back to let Jasmine and Alya get hurt. She grabs one of Jack’s unique three-barrel shotguns and several rounds from a container. She rushes out of the den charging towards where Alya and Jasmine were fighting.
As she was running, she loaded the shotgun with eight rounds. These weren't ordinary rounds, but special solid rounds Jack himself designed. When gets close to where Alya, Jasmine, and the guy was fighting. She saw sparks and lightning bolts lighting up the hallway from where the sword was being stopped by Alya’s staff.
She noticed that the guy had almost had Alya to her knees. She aims the shotgun at the guy’s head and pull the trigger. She gets kicked backwards from the force of the shotgun being fired. She misses the guy’s head, and hits the ceiling above him.
Her shoulder was hurting her from the impact of the shotgun hitting her shoulder. She picks herself up off the floor and aims again towards the guy. Her shoulder was hurting her as she fired again towards the guy.
Alya felt the breeze of a slug pass by her head. She heard the sound of the shotgun when it was fired. She was lucky that the slug missed her, but hit the guy in front of her. It did nothing to him, except flatten and fall to the ground.
She figures this guy must be powered by magic like her. She could feel the death magic he possessed traveling through her staff. His magic was being countered by the magic in her staff.
“Ada, grab Jasmine and take her to the den.” Alya felt herself pressed to her knees.
Ada runs towards Jasmine and drag her prone body with her left hand. Her right shoulder was hurting like hell from the shotgun nearly breaking her shoulder blade. She knew she was going to regret it later.
Alya gathers her strength and pushes up with her legs. She could already feel her thighs protesting form the strain. She pushes back with her arms against the man with her staff.
The Executioner channels more strength into his sword and tries breaking the staff. He lifts the sword up and brings it down hard onto the staff. The magic inside of the sword tries cutting through the ancient Native American magic infused into the staff but is unable too.
“Oh, great Fox spirit lead me your strength.” Alya hopes the Fox spirit hears her plea.
Alya feels a tingling sensation again all over her body. She could feel her body changing from that of a human into a humanoid Fox person. She felt more energized as the spiritual energy is granted to her.
Ada almost stopped dragging Jasmine when she noticed Alya glowing. She watched as her friend is changed from a human into a humanoid female fox person. The suit she was wearing even changed, acting like the outer skin of the humanoid fox.
“Okay, that’s not something you see every day.” Ada manages to pull Jasmine’s unconscious body into the den.
The Executioner felt and saw the woman he was fighting change right in front of him. He presses harder against the staff with his sword. He was going to kill this bitch along with the other two females.
Alya was getting tired of holding this prick back. She lets out a growl and jumps up and kicks the guy in his chest. The guy falls forward towards her. She flips the guy over and springs back to her feet.
She twirls her staff and charges it with additional magical energies. She waits and watches as the Executioner picks himself up off the ground. Just as he swings around with his sword. She uses her staff like a pole and jumps up and kicks the guy in his chest again. She sends him flying backwards towards the thick doors of the den.
Ada hears the loud thump as the den doors shakes. She wonders what the hell happened. She goes back to tending to Jasmine. She had blood on the back of her head, matching the blood from her broken nose.
“He did a job on you, Jasmine.”
Alya presses her attack against the Executioner. She was going to take this prick down, even if it killed her. She runs forward, while extending her claws from her hands. She rakes them across his abdomen, sinking them in deep. She spins around and rake them across the mask covering his head.
The Executioner tries to block the attacks, but this Female fox person was moving to quickly. The neck thing he feels, is something sharp cutting across and deep into his throat. Just before he dies, he spots the face of the fox person leaning in close to his own “You lose.”
A smile appears on Alya’s fox face as the Executioner closes his eyes and dies. She was glad the prick was defeated. She pulls his huge body away from the den doors and walks inside. She spotted Ada tending to Jasmine’s injuries with just her left hand.
Alya feel the fox spirit leave her body. She turns back into herself and the clothes she had been wearing when she summoned her outfit. She also felt extremely drained and sore all over. She had to push herself to help Ada with Jasmine.
Temple At the Center of The Island:
Cheshire slowly starts waking up hurting all over. She felt herself being held by strong arms and resting against someone. She knew who it was by the musky scent of the person. She knew she was safe being in the arms of the person holding her. A purring sound could be heard coming from her.
Jack holds Cheshire’s body protectively against his body. He had woken earlier and found her still unconscious. He also realized he could feel Chaos and all his wolves again. He was back in his original body. He noticed that Nick’s owl was perched protectively over Nick as well. Chaos and Sher Khan were lying nearby. He could tell that Chaos’s paw was still hurting him.
Jack enjoyed feeling Cheshire’s body against his own. Her scent filled his nostrils making him feel intoxicated and stirring something deep inside of him. Her naked body rested against his body. He could hear a purring sound coming from her.
He starts nibbling on her neck and kissing her. He feels her respond to his kisses as she turns around in his arms and presses her body against his. Jack feels Cheshire press herself hard against his body.
Cheshire felt Jack start to kiss her. She was enjoying it as her purring became louder. She responded to his kissing and turned around in his arms, pressing herself against him and forcing him onto his back. She noticed both of them were naked as an animal lust overcame her. She wanted to feel him inside of her body. She wiggles her womanhood against his stiff manhood. She wasn’t breaking their kiss as she kissed him harder. She slowly spreads her legs and straddles his body. She moves above his manhood and slowly lower herself onto his thick, wide cock.
Before the two of them knew it, Jack felt Cheshire mounting him as she slowly sat up and looked down into his eyes. He knew her eyes had changed when the cat goddess saved her life. But now he saw that she was lost in lust.
He felt the same way as lust overcame him as Cheshire raised and came down on him. He massaged her breasts as she leaned down to continue kissing him. He felt her going slowly as she rode him. She slowly started to increase her pace.
Cheshire pinned Jack under her and leaned down to kiss him as she rode him. She starts slowly feeling every inch of his thick, wide cock as it buried itself in her body. She felt her vaginal opening stretched to accommodate his cock. She felt a desire to drive him deep into her body.
Time passes as Jack and Cheshire make love to each other. Their lovemaking was like two wild animals in the wild as each one fought for control. Sometimes, Cheshire wanted control, and other times Jack wanted control. In the end, Jack pins Cheshire down as he roughly enters hard into her body. He ends up filling her uterus and her tubes up with his semen each time.
The two of them finally fall asleep, with Jack holding Cheshire close to his body, protectively. Sher Khan and Chaos surround them, protecting them while they sleep.
Nick wakes up and notices he is naked. He also noticed that he was back in his body as well. He noticed they were still in the temple and the giant pit that had been in the middle of the room wasn’t there now. He could also feel the connection he had with Samson. He slowly stands up and looks around the room. Everything was like it was when that crystal exploded.
He spots Cheshire being held by Jack and can also smell that the two of them had sex. It hung thick over the area where they and their animals were sleeping. A sly smile appears on his face as he walks by them and out of the temple. He looks up into the sky and notices it is early morning.
He figures it had to be around noon time when they arrived, so at least a day has passed since they entered. Since all three of them were in their birthday suits. He starts going through the people they killed to find clothes and shoes for them to wear. He also figures that Jack and Cheshire are going to be hungry as well.
Samson flies out of the temple and soars above the treetops. He normally didn’t like being awake during the day, but he was feeling hungry and he knew his human was hungry as well. He spots a river and dives down to do some fishing.
Jack and Cheshire wake up and kiss each other. Cheshire felt sore and full down in her abdomen. She places her hand down on top of her abdomen to feel how it bulges out some.
“Morning you two. I have some fresh fish here and whatever rations those mercs had on them.” Nick doesn’t say anything about the sex he
smells hanging over them. He figures right now there were more important things to do.
“Thanks.” Cheshire moves over to where Nick had set up a small fire pit to cook.
“Here, I bet you are feeling hungry after being turned back.” Nick hands a large leaf he had gathered to eat off of.
Cheshire accepts the leaf and starts eating. She was extremely hungry and would be able to eat some more. She watches as Jack accepts a leaf.
Jack goes to share his food with Chaos.
“They have been fed. I fed them before I started cooking for us. Chaos doesn’t like fish, so I had to find something more to his liking.”
“Well, we did leave a bunch of dead bodies outside the temple.” Cheshire looked over towards Sher Khan and could tell he was full.
“That’s what they ate. Those two have big appetites.”
“You don’t have to tell me. You should see the food bill for all the cats living at my place.” Cheshire reaches over to Sher Khan and scratches between his ears.
“So, how are we going to handle Sataria?” Nick finishes off his leaf of food.
“The same way we handle every asshole that we go after. We are going to kill her.” Cheshire was ready to exact her revenge against the woman.
“Easier said, than done. Cheshire. She’s immortal and welds Jinn magic.” Nick knows it won’t be easy.
“That shouldn’t matter, Nick. Each one of us was touched by a god or goddess. Which makes us their avatar. I was touched by Death, you were touched by the Moon Goddess, and Cheshire was touched by one of the ancient Cat goddesses. Since I was touched by Death, I can strip her immortality away from her and make her mortal again. You can judge her and determine whether should she be allowed to live or die.”
“And I will execute her.” Cheshire was still feeling a little hungry. She grabs some of the dry jerky they had and eats that.
An evil smile appears on Jack’s face. He knew Cheshire was out for blood now and once that happens. There would be no stopping her from getting her revenge.
Nick shakes his head. He wonders if the sex between Cheshire and Jack had put her in a foul mood.
“Let me see that satellite phone.” Jack looks at Nick.
Nick digs through the stuff they salvaged pulls it out and hands it to Jack.
“Thanks.” Jack sets it for the frequency he knew his family would be monitoring and manages to get a signal.
“We have contact.” As Jack goes about sending a coded message to his family and employees.
Gina’s House, Arabella’s computer room, Montana:
Arabella was slumped over on her computer desk. She hadn’t left her computer chair since her grandfather had gone missing. Her computer starts beeping as it locks onto Jack’s and Cheshire’s chip.
Amy had come into Arabella’s computer room to check on her. Her wife hasn’t left the room except to use the bathroom and take a shower. She notices Arabella slumped over her desk and then hears the computer start beeping. A world map appears on the screen with two blinking dots blinking at a location. Coordinates start appearing on the screen as the satellite Arabella is tapped into triangulating the location.
Amy shakes Arabella’s shoulder to wake her. She shakes a little harder because Arabella is in a deep sleep.
“Honey, wake up. Your grandfather and Cheshire have been located.” Amy hits a button on Arabella’s keyboard to record the location.
Arabella slowly wakes up as the words from Amy sink into her sleep-cloudy mind. She looks at her giant screen as two blinking dots appear on an island in the South Pacific. She goes to record the information, but her wife has already done it.
“Send the information to everyone, Amy.” Arabella moves out of the way so her wife can use her keyboard without her in the way.
Jenny comes running into the computer room and notices Amy sitting in the computer chair with a sleepy-looking Arabella standing next to her. The huge computer screen had a world map up and zoomed in on an island in the South Pacific. GPS coordinates appear on the screen under the Island.
Jenny walks over to Arabella “Come on, let’s get you into the shower.”
“Okay.” Arabella lets her wife escort her to the bathroom and into the shower.
Amy glances over her shoulder at her other wives and watches them leave the room. She turns her attention back to the screen and notices no acknowledgment came from Clair’s ranch or the Den underneath. She looks up who belongs to that team who wasn’t at the ranch. There was one member who wasn’t at the ranch she could contact.
Becky’s Great Uncle’s Garage:
Becky was sitting in the office going over the bills when her cell phone started ringing. She looks at the number and notices it is unlisted. Normally, she wouldn’t answer her cell phone with the number being blocked. However, she has learned sometimes Clair would call her on a number that wasn’t listed.
Becky presses accept “Hello?”
“Becky? This is Jack’s granddaughter-in-law in Montana. I don’t know if you are up on current events about their disappearance.”
“Yeah, I am, but I’m at work. What’s wrong?” Becky leans back in her chair.
“We’ve located Jack and the others, but I can’t get in touch with anyone at the den or ranch. Can you head over there and see what is wrong?”
“Sure, can you give me a number to contact you back on?” Becky grabs a pen to write the number down.
“Here’s my number.” Amy gives Becky her personal cell number.
“Alright, I’ll call you back once I know what is going on.”
“Thanks, Becky.” Amy ends the call.
Becky leaves the office and walks into the garage area. She spots her uncle “Uncle, I have to leave for a few minutes. Something important has come up.”
“Alright, let me know if there is any trouble you can’t handle.” Harry knew Becky was working with a special group of government agents.
“I will.” Amy grabs her helmet and hops onto her motorcycle.
She rides over to Clair’s ranch.
Clair’s Ranch:
Becky pulls up the driveway towards the farm house. She stops and notices the front door was lying in front of the house. She takes her helmet off and pull her Glock out and cautiously approach the house.
She quietly walks up the front steps and cautiously look inside the house. The inside looked like a tornado hit it. She walks inside and look around. She couldn’t believe the carnage that had occurred. She follows it to the hidden door that lead to the secret entrance to the underground tunnel.
The door that lead to the steps leading down to the tunnel was missing. She cautiously walks down the steps into the tunnel and spots pieces of the door littering the floor. She walks further down and spots a huge bald head man bleeding out. It looked like someone disenbowl him. There was a leather hood laying near him.
The doors that opened to the den, were scarred but still intact. She spots black shotgun shells littering the floor. She walks up to the door and knocks on it. She hopes that someone was alive inside.
After a few minutes, the door slowly opens and Ada was standing on the other side of it. Her right arm was in a sling and she looked like she was in pain.
“What the hell happened here?” Becky walks into the den, with Ada closing the doors behind her.
“That creep outside the door, happened. He came a knocking and beat the shit out of Jasmine.”
“How is she doing?” Becky spots Jasmine lying on a camp bed.
Her head was bandaged and it looked like her nose had been broken. Becky looks over towards Alya and saw she was passed out on the huge round table. Her head was down and her body was slumped over.
“She going to need a week to recover. As for Alya, she’s going to need the next few days to recover. She really pushed herself to the limit to fight off that executioner outside the door. What brings you here, any way?” Ada was curious why Becky was at the Den.
Becky was normally busy working at her uncle’s garage, doing the books and making sure they had everything they needed to fix the cars that came in.
“I got a call from Jack’s granddaughter Amy. She said that she tried contacting you guys, but didn’t get a response from you guys. So, she asked me to come and check on you.”
“First, I’m glad you did and secondly, did she say where he and his friends are?” Ada sits down on one of the wooden chairs.
“I need to let her know how you guys are, firstly. While I’m on the phone with her, I’ll ask her what she has on them.” Becky pulls out her cell phone and calls Amy’s number.
Gina’s House, Arabella’s Computer Room, Montana:
Amy leans back in the computer chair she was sitting in. It’s been about an hour since she contacted Becky to find out what had happened at the ranch. While she has been waiting for Becky to call her back. She went ahead and sent the information about Jack’s location to everyone who were helping them.
She knew everything that could be done right now, was being done. She turns around in the chair and grabs a bottle of iced tea from the minifrig in the computer room and takes a sip from it. Just as she swallows the tea, her cell phone starts ringing. She picks it up and notices it was Becky calling her back.
“Hello, Becky. Is everything okay?”
“Yes and no. It seems whoever took your grandfather-in-law sent a person to the ranch to kill everyone.”
“How is every one?” Amy was concerned, because everyone at the ranch were still new except Jasmine.
“Jasmine going to need a week or more to recover, Alya is exhausted from doing whatever she did and Ada has a badly bruised right shoulder. I think the bruising goes all the way down to her bones.”
“All right, I’ll send reinforcements to the ranch.” Amy sends a coded message to Ankia’s team to go back to the ranch to protect it.
She also sends a text message to Doctor Angela to head to the ranch. She sends what medical information she knows to Dr. Angela Stone.
“Thanks. Is there anything else we should look out for?” Becky needed to know just in case she needed to get some of the old defenses working.
“Just be prepared. Whoever we are dealing with, isn’t going to stop until were dead.” Amy was getting a weird feeling.
“Alright, keep us in the loop.”
“Will do. Stay safe, Becky.”
“Thanks.” Amy ends the call.
Sataria’s Base Camp, Unknown South Pacific Island:
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN, THEY ARE STILL ALIVE?” As flames from Sataria’s hand incinerates the Indian person standing before her.
“My lady, they have turned back into their orginal selves and are coming back this way.” A figure wearing black armor had entered the main tent.
“SHIT!” Sataria’s hands start glowing as she raises them above her head and says a chant. She directs the magic behind the person that just spoke and a group of people appear.
“I brought you back to go and kill Jack Bounty and his friends. Don’t blow this second chance.”
John, Blake, Brenda, and Donald all look at each other. Two of them had been dead, while the other two had been imprisoned from the last time they went after Jack Bounty. Donald had managed to kill Jack, just before he died. He wonders how the old bastard was alive.
“Were going to need better weapons to kill that bastard and his friends.” Donald looked at Sataria when he says that.
“Then you shall have them, but you better not let me down.” Sataria gives Donald and his group magical weapons and enchanted armor.
Donald and his team feels their armor change and conform to their body. They all had new weapons that were magically enchanted. Even their bodies felt supercharged.
“Now go and kill Jack Bounty and his friends.” She waves her arm and sends them on their way.
Sataria looks over towards her commander “are your men ready?”
“Yes, ma’am Queen.” Commander Cunver Brontez responses to Sataria’s question.
“I want you and your men to kill every man, woman, and child at Jack’s ranch and after you’re done that. I want his family eliminated as well. I don’t want any Bounty to be left alive. Now go and kill everyone.” Sataria opens up a huge portal for Commander Brontez and his men to go through.
Unknown Island, South Pacific:
“That’s the last of this batch.” Nick wipes the blood off his hands.
Now that all of them were back in their bodies. They weren’t relying on their weapons or tricks like before. This time they were relying on skill alone. All thou, Nick does notice Cheshire is more deadly than ever.
“Same here.” Jack tosses the two men he killed away from him.
“Count these three assholes as dead too.” Cheshire was dragging two guys and carrying one guy.
Nick notices there aren’t any marks on them. He wonders if Cheshire used her famous atemi killing touch on them.
“I see you took your anger out on them.” A smile appears on Jack’s face.
“Oh, I still have plenty of anger left for Sataria.” Cheshire tosses the three she was carrying into the pile of others.
Jack and Nick have noticed a change in Cheshire since they have turned back to their normal self. Normally, she never let her anger show, but this time it was different.
“I’ve never seen her pushed to her limit before. Also, it might have something to do with what the cat goddess did to her.”
“Well, this is something we have never done before, so I can see why she is so pissed.” Nick had to admit that Sataria had upped her game a lot towards her vengeance towards them.
She wasn’t trying to be sneaky or deceitful like she had in the past. She was out for blood, especially now that she was freed from the cave in which Nick and Jack imprisoned her. Nick had a bad feeling, this time around Sataria wasn’t going to hold back and go after everyone they held dear to them.
After Jack, Nick, and Cheshire gather what weapons they can. The three of them check the weapons over to make sure they are in working order. Most of them didn’t need any maintenance done to them, but a few others did.
“How can someone run around with weapons like this?” Jack holds up a weird-looking gun that he hasn’t seen before.
“What is it?” Nick was curious, as he walked over to Jack.
“Don’t know, but whoever built it, did a remarkable job.” Jack examines the weird-looking weapon, before tucking it behind his back.
Jack stops along with Nick, and Cheshire. A weird feeling travels throughout their bodies, as they turn to look at where the threat is coming from. They watch as four figures appear out of thin air, wearing crusader-style armor, but more streamlined and form-fitting. All of them were holding medieval weapons and shields.
Among the four, one armor stood out, because it was made for a woman. Jack noticed the symbol on the armor. “I can’t believe you guys were brought back to life to kill us.”
“Do you know these people, Jack?” Nick looks at Jack.
“Yeah, they are genetically engineered warriors from an organization known as the Hunters.”
“And now it’s our turn to fulfill our original mission, old man.” Donald couldn’t believe how young Mr. Bounty looked.
“You can try, and the result will be like last time with your death.” An evil smile appears on Jack’s face.
Before anyone could react, Brenda lifted her crossbow and shot a bolt at Jack. The other three spread out to attack Jack and the other two people. Nick fires at several of the people who just appeared and watches as the bullets from his gun bounce off their armor.
“Guys, our guns aren’t doing anything against their armor.” Nick tosses the gun he was using.
“So, we go to basics. Remember, Nick you’re no longer a normal person.” Jack punches Donald’s armor leaving a huge dent in the armor.
The two fighting Cheshire swing their swords at her, trying to kill her, but she dances out of the way like they are moving slowly. She concentrates on Jack’s words and changes form like she was taught by the Werecats. Ever since she was healed by the cat goddess, she learned that she possesses supernatural abilities now.
She changes into a humanoid cat person and extends her claws. She swipes at the nearest person attacking her and buries her claws into his armor. As for the other one, she manages to use the person she is attacking as a pole and jump up and kick the person.
Brenda attacks Nick like a mad woman. She had a strong desire to kill him. She was getting frustrated with him, because every time she attacked, he either parried or sidestepped her attack.
A smile appears on Nick’s face as he frustrates his opponent. He could tell the female knight didn’t like how he avoided her attacks. His eyes flash white as the spirit of the moon goddess enters him. He could feel his body changing as his head changed into a humanoid owl and he felt his hands and the rest of his body changing as well.
Brenda feels herself punched in her head as the helmet she is wearing is knocked off her head and sent flying. She is surprised and goes to block the attack from the owl-looking humanoid standing in front of her. She tries blocking his strikes but is unable to.
Donald and Jack are going at it. Jack snitched Donald’s sword away from him and welded it like a pro. Donald caused another sword to appear in his hand and was striking at Jack. He saw Jack’s eyes flash and noticed they had turned into wolf eyes.
“Give it up, boy! You don’t stand a chance against me.” Jack hits Donald extremely hard in the chest area.
Donald spits out blood as he feels the chest plate squeeze again his chest, making it hard to breathe. He also felt several of his bones crack from the blow. He looks at Jack with hatred in his eyes and strikes against Jack, trying to kill him.
Cheshire and her two opponents were fighting like cats and dogs. She already sliced open the armor of one person, and the other person wasn’t doing so well against her. He had numerous cuts and his armor looked like a powerful sledgehammer had hit it.
John and Blake weren’t doing so well against the female known as Cheshire. She went from being an Asian female to being some sort of cat person. Sure, they have dealt with humanoid cat men and women before, but this one was different. She was faster and more skillful than any they had encountered.
Brenda managed to strike Nick, but it barely phased him. She grabs her helmet and put it back on. This freak was pissing her off and she knew she was going have to resort to dirty tricks if she was going to be able to kill him. She tosses down some smoke bombs and swing her sword towards him.
Nick was a little surprised when the woman he was fighting tossed down some smoke pellets. However, he is barely nicked when her sword comes out of the smoke and cut across his chest, leaving behind a red mark. An amusing look appears on his face as he retreats backwards.
“Good one.” Now he knew what she was up too.
Several more smoke clouds appear around him. He closes his eyes and uses his enhance senses to listen to her movement. He could hear where she was inside the smoke clouds.
Just as Brenda goes to strike with her sword, she feels it parried aside by a strong force. The smoke she was using to cover her movement is blown away by a gust of wind.
“Nice try, lady. But this isn’t my first rodeo.” Nick strikes fast and hard at the female knight.
Jack and Donald were going at it hard and fast. Both of them were using their fists and each time Jack struck Donald, more dents appeared on Donald’s armor. As for Donald, he was doing everything he could to land a punch or kick on Jack. Every time he threw a punch or kick, Jack countered him and landed a punch or kick to his body.
He spots a discarded gun laying nearby and dives for it. Just as his armored fingers touched it, it explodes. He looks towards Jack and saw he was pointing some weird looking gun at him.
“Now, why don’t we continue our little dance or do you want me to end this now?” Jack was surprised by how much power the weapon he had
tucked behind his back had. He’ll have to take it apart when he gets home and have more made.
Donald slowly stands up, while keeping his eyes on the weapon Jack held in his hand. He had never seen it before, but it destroyed the gun he was going for. If he could get that weapon away from Jack, maybe he could kill him again and for good.
“That’s a good boy.” Jack tucks the gun back behind his back again.
While Jack was putting the weapon away, Donald causes the sword he lost to reappear back in his hand and goes to strike Jack. He figures he could get in a quick strike, while Jack was distracted. He moves quickly and swiftly.
A smirk appears on Jack’s face as he blocks with his left forearm and quickly strike Donald in his covered head with his right fist. He puts so much force behind the punch, that Jack hears the crunching sound of Donald’s nose breaking.
Donald’s head snaps backwards form Jack’s punch to the front of his helmet. He also feels the pain of his nose breaking from the punch as well. Blood starts flowing from his broken nose and down over his lips. He takes his helmet off and tosses it to the side, as he smears the blood with his armored forehand.
“We don’t need to continue this, boy. Surrender now, and I’ll let you live the rest of your life in peace.”
“And if I don’t?” Donald was angerly glaring at Jack.
“Then your head will go onto a pike to stay on this island as a warning to others.” An evil look appears on Jack’s face.
John looks over towards Blake’s prone body on the ground. Blake’s blood had pooled under him where Cheshire had sliced him open through his armor. He had several gashes in his own armor where her extremely sharp claws had sliced through their new armor. His left arm was unresponsive where she had penetrated his armor with her finger and touched his skin. It hung limply by his body.
He looks at the woman, who now looked like a female anthropomorphic lioness with long golden hair. She had a fierce look on her face, like she was waiting for him to do something stupid, for her to strike. He knew Jack’s, Cheshire’s, and Nick’s animals were staying out of this fight. They were watching their humans and making sure the fight remained fair, although he wasn’t so sure about the huge ass tiger that was watching him and licking its chops.
John knew his armor couldn’t take much more damage from Cheshire, but it wasn’t going to stop him. He goes to strike, but gets his arm grabbed and tossed like he was nothing. He feels a sharp blow to his chest, as Cheshire’s foot lands on his chest. He screams out when he feels several ribs snap from her strike.
Cheshire looks down at the stupid knight she was fighting. She was ready to finish this person, but she didn’t want to end the fighting to early. She wanted to play with him some more. She back flips off his chest several feet away and waits for him to get up off the ground.
John feels and watches as Cheshire back flips off his chest, several feet away from his body. She was just standing there looking at him, like she was waiting for him to get up. He spots Brenda’s crossbow laying near him. He rolls towards it and grabs it. He takes aim at Cheshire and fires both bolts at Cheshire.
Cheshire catches one bolt with her hand and knocks the other bolt aside like it was a fly. She takes the bolt in her hand and tosses it back at John, with enough force to penetrate his armor. An evil smile appears on her face when she hears him scream in pain, as the bolt penetrates his armor.
Cheshire leans down into his as she moves closer to him “do you want me to kill you now or later?”
John just glares up into her golden cat eyes “go to hell, bitch!”
“You, first.” As Cheshire shoves the crossbow bolt further into John’s chest.
It doesn’t take much longer for Jack and Nick to finish killing their opponents. Jack does what he told Donald he would do it if he killed him. He
chops Donald’s head off and places it on a pike to warn others.
As for Brenda, Nick buries her body. He felt it was the least he could do for her. It was too bad, he had to take her life, but she left him no choice. He weighed her heart and pass judgement for the crimes she committed in the ill-fated belief she was doing good for the church.
As for Cheshire, she tears the hearts out of John and Blake and feed them to Sher Khan, Samson, and Chaos. She looks at Jack and Nick after he resumed his human form again. She returns to her normal self as well.
“I say we end this now.”
“I agree. I think its time to kill Sataria.” Nick looks towards Jack to see if he agrees.
Jack nods his head in agreement. He looks at the bodies littering the ground and hopes this will be the end of her.
Midnight, Jack’s Ranch:
The Werewolves that came to help and protect Jack’s family were patrolling the perimeter of the property. Jack’s wolves were patrolling closer to the main house. Jack’s wife Debbie felt it would be better if all the grandchildren and the adults were at the main house, instead of in their own homes. This way they wouldn’t have to split their forces up.
Tizzy and Julia were patrolling the grounds with Terror, Sphinx, and Simba. Rae and her husband opened a portal to Tizzy’s house and brought Simba back to the ranch. Dallas, Waffle, Trigger, and Lobo were guarding the house. Waffle was the only coyote on the Bounty ranch. Julia started training him to be like the wolves since he was Haylee’s pet.
Arabella, Amy, and Jenny were taking turns with the stealth drones that were patrolling the property. They were using a remote unit that Arabella set up in her grandfather’s office. Arabella knew her grandfather didn’t like technology that much, but because everyone was being protected at the main house. She needed a big room to set the remote equipment up.
Rae and her husband were outside on the porch scanning the grounds. They had set up several mystical alarms, so if any magic was used on the ranch, it would let them know. Katy and Selina were fixing food for everyone.
Gina and her husband were up in one of the grain silo’s watching the property. They had several of the sniping rifles Jack kept at the house.
“Arabella, how is the rest of the property looking, sweetie?” Gina was staying in touch with her daughter.
“Everything is looking good Mom. Aunt Anika and her team are flying towards the island where Grandpa is.” Arabella received a message from
her aunt Anika that she was taking her team to rescue her brother.
“I feel sorry for whoever kidnapped Grandpa. Aunt Anika and her team are going to rain hell on them.” Gina knew how vicious her aunt could be.
“Especially Terry with her toys.” Arabella likes collaborating with Terry.
Terry was a big help with some of the problems she was having with the drone she built. One of the drones starts alerting her to a presence north of the main house. She sends the drone closer to investigate. Another drone alerts her to a group that suddenly appeared.
“Mom, we have intruders north and east of the main house.” Arabella sends another drone to investigate.
Suddenly there are over sixty blips on her monitor. Arabella hits the alert button “Mom we have over sixty people that just appeared out of nowhere.”
The alarms go off at the main house as all the televisions in the mansion switch over showing sixth blips surrounding the mansion. They were still a bit away, but they were within the perimeter.
Debbie, Selina, Katy, and Ikaika herd all the kids and grandkids into the safe room under the mansion. They had several escape routes they could take if the safe room was found, without the attackers finding out where they were going.
Roxy and Catori’s cat were with them, along with Cadmus, Lone Star, Blacky, and Astara. The wolves would protect the kids with their lives. Silvia and her husband were making sure everyone was safe.
Gina and Arnold were killing every intruder they could locate. It seemed the intruders came prepared this time and were better organized. Gina relays this information to her sister, her mother, and the leader of the Werewolves working with them.
Tizzy and Julia get jumped by six of the intruders. The wolves were holding off two more attackers as Tizzy and Julia dealt with the ones attacking them. The intruders were better armed and better trained this time around and were giving Tizzy and Julia a run for their money.
Not only were they giving the Bounty clan a run for their money, but also the ranch hands and the Werewolves. The mercs that showed up this time were out for blood and were determined to kill everyone present.
Debbie looks at her children outside fighting and wonders if they will survive. She knows they were safe down in the saferoom, but she still felt protective of children fighting outside.
“Arabella, can you give me a better view of what is going on?” Debbie was watching live feed from her granddaughter’s drones.
“Yes ma’am.” Arabella moves several drones around on the property so her grandmother can get a better look.
“Sweetie, can you send some of your combat drones over to help the ranch hands near the hangar?” Debbie noticed that the ranch hands needed help.
“I can Grandma, but it won’t be as effective as Brutus.” Arabella knew the smaller combat drones weren’t as effective or better armed as Brutus.
“Send them, sweetie. They need help.”
“Yes ma’am.” Arabella activates the drones and sends them out to help the ranch hands.
South Pacific Island:
Cheshire spots a group of men torturing a group of people. Two of the prisoners were women in their mid-twenties and the smaller woman that was in between them looked to be a teenager. All three women were stripped naked and secured to giant Xs made of bamboo.
Their bodies had numerous cut marks where blood was dripping out of them. Their hand were nailed to the bamboo and so were their feet as well. She could smell their scent from her hiding spot and could tell they had been like that for several days.
Across from the three women were two men, but secured by thick chains to the thick bamboo X’s. One man was a bald African American and had fresh whip marks on his back. He was well-built and looked like he could give Jack a run for his money.
The second guy secured next to the unknown African American man had dark tanned skin and several tattoos covering his body. It looked like most of the tattoos the guy had were of military origins. There was a tattoo on his back that she could barely make out because of the bamboo blocking it.
He had secure metallic objects sticking out of his with blood dripping from the wound. His face looked like a smashed hamburger. He also had a bleeding wound on his side. Both men were stripped naked as well. Both men had nice packages on them. Cheshire felt her groin area getting wet from looking at the men. She shakes her head and concentrates on the mission.
There were at least ten men with Russian accents standing around. One of the men kept looking towards the teenage girl and she could tell he wanted to rape her. She could smell his arousal. As for the language the men were speaking, it sounded like they were South African mercs.
She turns and heads back towards Jack and Nick. The animals were with the two of them. She wanted to scout ahead since they were taking a different route back to Sataria’s main camp.
While Cheshire is away, Nick looks towards Jack “Okay, spill what is going on between you and Cheshire?”
“What do you mean?” Jack looks at his best friend as they walk through the jungle.
“What I mean, is that little sex act back at the temple. Does Debbie know that you are cheating on her?” Nick has never known Jack to cheat on his wife.
“I’m not cheating on Debbie. There’s always been an attraction between me and Cheshire. Even Debbie knows that. As for what happened back
at the temple, the cat spirit inside of Cheshire is attracted to the wolf spirit inside of me. Ever since that cat goddess saved Cheshire, we have been noticing how she is attracted to strong men. We figure it has something to do with our scent that makes the cat inside of her take notice.
Debbie and I talked about it and she has no problem with me and Cheshire. Debbie thinks of Cheshire as a sister. But out of respect to my vows to Debbie, I have always controlled myself.”
“I never knew how close the two of you were. When did these feelings between the two of you develop?” Nick has known Jack for a very long time.
“Back when she started working for the CIA. I was one of her instructors at the time. She wasn’t cocky like some of her fellow trainees. She was quiet and observant of everything I did. That’s when I realized how dangerous she would turn out to be.”
“I would have to say, she has always struck me as a natural. Some people can train to become as good as the three of us, but they would never reach that one percent level where we are. You have to be born for this type of work.” Nick knew you had to have a natural talent to survive and excel at what they did and very few people ever came close to it.
“Yeah, she was born to be a natural-born killer. As for us, well it was never in the cards for us. Were two much alike to be married to one another.” Jack had thought about pursuing Cheshire as a wife, but they were two much alike and that scared him.
A few minutes later Chaos lifts his head when hears movement coming towards them. He inhales some air notices the female scent and knows he can trust her. He looks towards Shere Khan and notices that he recognizes the scent as well.
Cheshire comes out of the woods and surprises Jack and Nick. She looks at both men “There’s a camp a few yards near us. I already disable their early warning system.”
“How many people?” Nick looks and observes Cheshire.
“Ten men that form their accent are South African mercs. They have five prisoners, three women and two men. They have them secured to bamboo-made X’s. One of the guys had knives sticking out of his body and the other guy looked like they have been whipping the poor fellow. He has whipped marks all over his body.”
“How about the women?” Nick was curious.
“Two of the women looked to be in their twenties and the other one looked to be in her late teens. They have knife marks all over their bodies. And I’m afraid that the teen might get raped by one of the mercs. One of them was getting very aroused from looking at her.” Cheshire could smell it on him.
“Then we better stop it before it happens.” Nick cracks his knuckles.
Back At the Camp:
“I don’t know how much more I can take, Sam.” Tammy felt like her skin was on fire and she was so thirsty.
Sam turns her head slowly to look at Tammy. The poor girl has never experienced anything like this before. Hell! None of them have ever experienced anything like this before. Normally, they were the ones torturing people for information.
“We’ll get out of this, Tammy.”
“Who’s going to help you, bitch?” Fredrick had heard the girls talking and walked over to the ones talking.
He looks at the teen and the black hair woman to her right. An evil smile appears on his weathered face. He punches the woman in her stomach as hard as he could. He knew this one could take a lot of pain.
Sam grunts from the force of the punch. She only felt a little bit of it, thanks to the powers she was given, but it does knock the air out of her.
“Hey asshole, are defenseless women the only thing capable of beating?” Luke hated when women were abused in front of him.
Fredrick turns around to face the guys with knives sticking out of his body. He couldn’t believe how tough this guy is “What did you say, asshole?” As tries to drive a nearby knife deeper into the guy's body.
Luke clenches his teeth as he feels the knife goes deeper into his body. He didn’t know how much longer he was going to be able to survive. The poison coating the knives was coursing throughout his veins.
There is a roar and a growl as Chaos and Shere Khan come charging out of the jungle. Chaos goes after the man inflicting pain on the woman and guy. He grabs the guy with his massive jaw and snaps it in half.
Shere Khan attacks the biggest guy in the group. His powerful paw tears through the guy's chest and sends him flying away. He looks towards another guy seizes his arm in his powerful jaw and digs his teeth into the muscles of the guy.
Samson swoops down towards a gun pointing a rifle at Shere Khan and rakes his face with his talons. He sends the guy falling backward. He makes a sharp turn and dives after another guy.
Jack and Nick rush forward and catch two guys off guard. Jack punches one guy in his face, smashing the guy’s nose. He follows through with another punch to the guy's stomach.
Nick, swings the machete at a nearby guy, cutting the guy’s head off with one swing. He turns and catches another guy across his throat with his machete. He feels one guy trying to grab him. He twirls out of the way and catches the guy with an elbow to the guy's head.
The guy's head snaps back from the blow. Nick does a spin kick and sends the guy flying backward towards Jack.
“Heads up, Jack.” An evil smile appears on Nick’s face.
Jack catches the guy and sends him to two other guys. Jack was so loving this fight. He saw Chaos and Shere Khan protecting the captive people.
Luke and the others watch as two guys and a woman take on the men. They also noticed the huge ass wolf, the huge tiger, and a huge ass owl watching over them.
“Who the hell are those people?” Rachel was curious as she watched them fight.
“The question I have is, has anyone ever seen a wolf, owl, and tiger that fucking big before?” Tony was looking at the animals protecting them. He saw what each of them did and was shocked by the carnage.
Cheshire had disemboweled two other men. Her fingernails had grown extended and she buried them deep into each guy, exposing their insides
to the outside. Her eyes had changed as well. She saw the women and two men and could smell that they weren’t healthy.
By the time the fight ended, no one was left alive, except the five people. Jack, Nick, and Cheshire went over to the people and released them. Cheshire had tended to the wounded, while Nick looked around for something for them to wear. Jack was looking through the laptops and satellite phone numbers on the sat phone.
Sam and Elizabeth watched as the woman known as Cheshire tended to Tammy. As soon as the nails were removed from her hands and legs, she passed out. The big ass wolf had caught her and was letting Tammy rest against his side as Cheshire tended to her.
“Is Tammy going to make it, Cheshire?” Sam was concerned.
“She’ll be fine. We just need to get some fluids into her and get her to some shade. We’re too far from the river to submerge her in the water, but I know where I can find some water.” Cheshire knew this poor girl needed something for her skin and to cool her body.
“I’ll help you.” Tony goes to stand but gets head-butted by Shere Khan and falls back down.
“I don’t think so. Stay here and rest.” Cheshire stands up.
“If I don’t, will your huge ass cat eat me?” Tony looks into the eyes of Shere Khan.
“Maybe, I’ve learned not to piss him off or the wolf either.” A smirk appears on Cheshire’s face.
She starts walking towards Jack and Nick to grab some water bottles. Nick found some clothes for the five people to wear.
“I’m going to go and get some water. The girl needs it.”
“Be careful, Cheshire.” Jack looks towards Cheshire when he says that.
“I’ll try, but I can’t guarantee anything.” An evil smile appears on her face.
Jack shakes his head as he looks over towards the five people. He knew Chaos was being protected by the teenage girl. He has seen that behavior before with his girls.
Luke was feeling better. All the knives had been pulled out of his body, which allowed his healing ability to fight off the poison. He was tired, but he wanted to know who these people were.
“Who are you guys and what are you doing out here?” Luke watches the two men and the owl.
“My name is Nick, the big guy over there is Jack and the woman you met earlier is Cheshire. As to why we are out here, that’s a long story. The
question I have, is why are you five out here?” Nick walks over to Luke.
“We were ambushed while on a mission and brought here to be tortured for information. We’re part of a secret government black op’s team.” Luke wasn’t sure why he just said all that to this man.
Nick noticed the confused look on the man’s face. He didn’t think his abilities would do that.
“Don’t look so surprised. I can make anyone tell me the truth. Besides, we saved you and want to help you.”
“You didn’t have to force me to tell you that.” Luke was pissed.
“I didn’t. It’s just a gift I was given. Rest and we’ll talk later. Also, here. I found some clothes that should fit all of you.” Nick sets the clothes down at Luke’s feet.
“Is that wolf going to eat us?” Elizabeth looks at the huge wolf protecting Tammy.
“Him, no. He’s being protective. He can sense that all of you are good, plus he doesn’t like young girls being hurt.” Nick ruffles the fur on Chaos's head.
Jack’s Ranch, infirmary:
Debbie, Silvia, and Selina were tending to the injured. Julia, Gina, Tizzy, Tizzy’s husband, Arnold, and several farm hands were either suffering from sword wounds or gunshot wounds.
Even some of the wolves were injured and being tended to. Haylee was tending to the wolves since she could get close to them without being bitten, and Rae was helping the wounded into the infirmary.
The pack healers for the werewolf pack that protected Jack’s southern perimeter. They were helping members of their pack who got hurt. Some of them still didn’t trust Jack’s family.
Christmas and Katy looked after all the kids. Arabella, Amy, and Jenny secured the property with several farmhands who weren’t too injured to help them. Cadmus, Terror, and Astara protected them as they checked the dead bodies and gathered up the weapons lying around.
Amy looks over towards Arabella. “Is this common for your family?”
“Not unless someone is stupid enough to attack us.” Jennifer had come outside to help her older sister and sisters-in-law.”
“I hope Grandpa and Aunt Cheshire are okay.” Arabella was bent over, picking up pieces of her destroyed drone that one of the attackers blew up.
“I bet they are, sis. Grandpa and Aunt Cheshire are too mean to die.” Jennifer figures it would take someone as deadly as her father and aunt to kill them.
“Well, I know we have a lot of dead people to bury or incinerate.”
“You youngsters have nothing to fear about getting rid of the bodies. We have the equipment to handle that problem.” Sava spotted Mr. Bounty's grandchildren out on the property collecting weapons and parts of the drone that had been damaged.
“That’s good to hear.” Jennifer goes back to collect the weapons.
South Pacific Island:
“How did you guys get captured and brought here?” Nick looks at the five people standing before them.
“We walked right into their trap. We entered a warehouse that we got a tip about, and they managed to split us up and took us out one at a time.
The next thing we knew, we woke up here. They started interrogating the women first, then moved on to me and Luke.” Tony winces when
Cheshire applies some lotion to the whip marks on his back. He saw her make the lotion from plants she gathered from the jungle.
Luke could feel his body slowly recovering from the poison that had coated the knives the pricks had stabbed him with. He knew he wouldn’t be useful for at least a day or so. Not until all the poison that was in his system was expelled.
Once Elizabeth and Sam were bandaged and clothes, they checked on Tammy. Their healing ability was dealing with the injuries they sustained.
“She’s going to be okay. She’ll be a little tender to the touch but pull through.” Nick used what medical knowledge he had to tend to the girl.
“Thank you.” Sam knew that Tammy was going to have nightmares about this situation.
“You guys never said who you are.” Elizabeth looks at Jack since he stood nearby.
“They don’t need to, Elizabeth. The guy standing near you is Jack Bounty. The guy helping Tammy is Nick Law, and the woman with them is
Cheshire Patel. These are the three people Joseph Dark warned us about.” Luke knew who the three were.
“Joseph Dark? That’s a name I haven’t heard in a while.” Nick looks over towards Luke.
“You know him, Nick?” Cheshire looks towards Nick.
“Yeah, rumor is that he is in charge of a new black op’s department using superhuman beings.” Nick saw how fast the guy with tattoos was healing.
Tony and Elizabeth were surprised that Nick Law knew that information, which no one outside the agency was supposed to know.
“I’m surprised they would put someone as old as him in charge of a department. He has to be in his late seventies.” Jack knew the man was as old as he was.
“Well, if he is. He doesn’t show it.” Sam thought Mr. Dark was younger than what they were saying.
“So, what are we going to do now?” Elizabeth looks at their saviors.
“Well, I know what the three of us will be doing. You five don’t look up to be fighting anyone yet. My people are on their way here. Why don’t you guys wait for my people to arrive while we go to take care of what we need to do?”
“And what would that be, Mr. Bounty?” Tony looks towards Jack for an answer.
“To kill the woman responsible for all of us being here. It’s time she finally answers for the crimes she has committed.” A serious look appears on Jack’s face.
“We heard she can’t be killed.” Elizabeth was recalling everything their briefing had given them about Sataria.
“Normally, she can’t be killed. However, we know of a way to kill her for good.” Cheshire knew they could only do it with Nick and Jack using their unique abilities.
“And how is that?” Luke looks at Cheshire.
“Death comes for everyone. No matter who you are.” The way Jack spoke those words was sending chills down everyone’s skin.
“Don’t worry about not being protected.” Cheshire looks at Shere Khan and Chaos when she says those words.
“You’re leaving those two to protect us?” Tony looks at the massive wolf with uncertainty in his eyes.
“Don’t worry, they will protect you.” Cheshire knew Jack was thinking the same thing.
Jack looks at Chaos “Fuirich agus dìon na daoine sin.”
Tony, Luke, Sam, and Elizabeth look at Jack and try to understand what he just said to the huge wolf. Tammy was still out leaning against Chaos.
“What did you just say to him?” Luke wanted to know.
“To stay and protect you guys.” Jack looks towards Cheshire.
“Liú zài hùndùn shēnbiān bìng bǎohù zhèxiē rén.” Cheshire rubs Shere Khan’s fur afterwards.
“Let me guess; you told him the same thing?” Tony looks towards Cheshire.
“Something like that.” A smile appears on Cheshire’s face.
Sam and Elizabeth knew Cheshire spoke to the big cat in Chinese. They looked towards Nick to see what language he would use to talk to his huge owl.
“Oh, he’s not staying. He’s not like those two.” As Nick points towards Chaos and Shere Khan.
Nick knew Samson would only protect him. He wasn’t trained to protect anyone else.
“Here, it's set on the frequency my people are using. They will contact you when they are within range.” Jack hands Sam the satellite phone since it seems she is in charge of the group.
“Thanks.” Sam accepts the phone.
“Now, let’s go and kill Sataria.” Jack was ready to put an end to Sataria.
Sataria’s Encampment, South Pacific Island:
Three shadowy figures use the night to their advantage as they move throughout the night quietly killing people. The people they killed didn’t stand a chance against them. Any magical wards that might have alerted the guards to their presence were deactivated with just a thought.
Any animals that were guarding the encampment, were either killed or put to sleep by the intruders. Jack looks down at the hyena that a guard had as his partner. It seemed that Sataria was bringing in animals she was familiar with. Jack’s eyes flashed as he continued moving towards Sataria’s tent.
By the time Jack, Nick, and Cheshire arrive at the tent. Each time could feel the wards protecting it and the people inside the tent. Nick looks towards Jack “Who wants the honors?”
An evil smile appears on Jack’s face as he raises the sword he had taken from Donald. He channels his power through the sword, making it glow a bright red like it just came out of the fire and cut through the magic protecting the tent. A sizzling sound could be heard as the sword cut through not only the magical energies but also the material of the tent.
By the time the sword finishes cutting through the material. The sword had resumed its normal state, but this time instead of being bright shiny metal, the sword had a dark swirling color to it. Jack uses the blade of the sword to part the tent material “Ladies first.”
He looks towards Cheshire when he says that.
“Why, thank you, kind sir.” Cheshire walks through the opening and enters a huge area with several men wearing black tactical armor pointing weapons at her.
“Ah! You guys came out to play with me. How nice.” Cheshire morphs into her hybrid form and extends her claws from her fingertips.
The men start firing their weapons at her, hoping to stop her. As smoke filled the area where she had been standing, she was gone. Two other figures had entered and each of them had an evil smile on their faces. Screams could be heard as several men started dropping like flies as Cheshire either cut them down with her claws or used her claws to strike their pressure points.
Nick looks towards Jack “Should we help her?”
“Nay, she’s having too much fun.” The evil smile on Jack’s face gets bigger as he watches Cheshier cut the men down like a lawn mower.
Any of the men that managed to make their way over to Jack and Nick, crumble to dust from Jack just looking at them. As for the ones that come close to Nick, their hearts explode from their chest. Nick looks at his outstretched hand as he holds one guy’s heart in his right hand.
“He was not worthy to live.” Nick causes the heart in his hand to burst into flame.
There is a roar as a Chimera charge towards the group. Several of Sataria’s men get crashed by the huge beast as it charges through them. Jack steps forward to block it as he transforms into his wolf hybrid form and grows a little taller. He grabs the chimera by its horns and wrestles it to the ground like a bull. He digs his thick claws into its thick scales and squeezes until they penetrate through the skin.
He lifts the chimera into the air and slams it down on top of its heads, breaking them in the process. Flames engulf his hands as a dying scream could be heard coming from the creature as it burst into flames.
“Bravo! Jack. You managed to kill my pet, but can you handle me?” Sataria steps out dressed in a skimpy gaze dress, that shows off her assets and pale skin.
Jack looks towards Sataria “So, you have decided to finally face your fate. I’m impressed, Sataria, but I’m not the one who will be taking your life. That has been reserved for my dear friend Cheshire.”
Cheshire steps forward covered in blood from the people she just finished killing. She licks her lips and retracts her claws back into her fingers. She walks towards Jack and Nick like a lioness ready to take down its prey.
Sataria watches as Cheshire walks towards the guys. She is going to hate killing her because Cheshire would make a wonderful addition as a pet.
“Do you think you can kill me, child? I have lived for centuries and been buried alive for forty years. What makes you think you can kill me when these fools aren’t able to.” Sataria points towards Jack and Nick.
Jack walks towards Sataria, while assuming his normal height and look. The wolf spirit inside of him was ready to spring forth and kill this woman, but he knew his human had a plan.
“Sataria of Uruk, I hereby remove your gift of immorality.” Jack starts reaching toward Sataria.
“Stop! Her heart must be weighed.” Nick assumes his Owl hybrid form and reaches inside of Sataria’s body.
Sataria tried to step back, but she was unable to. It was like her legs wouldn’t respond to her mental commands. She could feel Nick’s bird-like hand penetrate her chest and grab her beating heart.
Nick grabs Sataria’s beating heart and rips it from her chest. A gold scale appears before them as he places her heart on one side of the scale and a feather on the other end. All four of them watch as the scale starts moving. At first, it seemed that the scale was going to favor Sataria, but at the last moment, it tilts towards the other end.
Nick looks into Sataria’s evil eyes “Your heart has been weighed and you have been found to have lived a sinful and evil life. Therefore, your punishment is eternal damnation for eternity.”
Jack looks towards Sataria “You heard the man. Now, it’s my turn.”
“You can’t kill me, fool. Haven’t you already learned that lesson?” A smug look appears on Sataria’s face.
“Think again, Sataria. Death comes for all of us, including those who are immortal.” Jack touches Sataria and sends his touch of death throughout her body. It removes the spell that the genie placed on Sataria a very long time ago.
Sataria shivers as Jack’s cold touch sends chills to her bones. She feels the spell the genie placed on her a very long time ago crumble and fade away. The blood rushes from her head down to her toes as she realizes that she is mortal again.
She looked at Jack and saw death in his eyes. Not the normal look he normally had, but death itself staring back at her through his avatar. She steps back away with fear on her face.
“Cheshire, would you like to do the honors?” Nick looks towards Cheshire.
“With pleasure!” Cheshire cracks her knuckles as she steps towards Sataria.
“NOOOOOO!!!!” Sataria screams out as Cheshire’s claws rip across her chest.
Morning Time:
Cheshire, Jack, and Nick hear a plane land on the water and pull up to the beach. Several figures could be seen coming towards them. Two of them land on the beach, before the others arrive.
Carla and her apprentice look at Jack, Nick, and Cheshire and land near them. They were the only two with jet packs. The others were taking a jet boat from the plane to the beach.
“You guys look okay. We picked up a signal coming from the sat phone you used.” Carla had her visor lifted so she could talk with Jack.
“There’s five other people, plus our pets that are waiting for you.” Cheshire looks at the two armored females from Anika’s team standing in front of her.
“Okay, we’ll go and check on them as soon as Elizabeth and her medical team get here.” Carla looks towards the jet boat approaching them.
Diamond was new to Anika’s team, but she knew the black hair man standing before her and Carla was Anika’s big brother Jack. She recognizes the Asian-looking woman as Cheshire. However, she didn’t recognize the other man that had a huge ass owl sitting on his shoulder.
She remains quiet and lets Carla do all the talking. This is the first time she’s left New York. Normally, she helped Carla with missions in New York and New Jersey.
Elizabeth and her medical team land on the beach and follow Carla and Diamond, deeper into the jungle after getting directions from Cheshire. Sophia was coming with them because Chaos wouldn’t follow anyone’s orders who wasn’t family.
Anika spots her big brother, Nick, and Cheshire waiting for them. A smile appears on her face as she walks towards Jack.
“You know, everyone was happy when they got your message.” Anika knew the whole family was relieved when they found out Jack, Nick, and
Cheshire were safe.
“Did you guys have any problems?” Nick wanted to know what had happened while they were trapped here on the island.
“We had some people come and try to kill us. They were striking at everyone, including your family, Nick.” Anika looks at Nick when she says that.
“Is my family safe?” Nick knew Jack would protect his family.
“They are. I called in a few favors from people I knew.” Anika sent Jester, Mark, Hatter, and two other people who owed her a few favors.
“How’s the rest of the family?” Cheshire was concerned about her family.
“They are fine. Catlin and a few of her friends protected their place. Tizzy and her family are at the ranch, and yes before you ask Big Brother.
The ranch came under attack and they suffered a few losses. Some of the wolves were seriously hurt. According to Debbie, several farmhands
were killed. She’s already getting in touch with their families.” Anika has been in constant contact with Debbie.
Jack looked disappointed about the farm hands. Most of the people he hired were loners and didn’t have any family. However, the other guys and women that worked for him did.
“So, did you get whoever did this to us?” Anika knew the family would help in any way to find the person.
“Oh, they are dead and won’t be bothering us anymore.” Cheshire was wiping the blood off her hands. She chopped Sataria’s body up and threw the pieces into a bonfire. There was no way that bitch was coming back.
Cheshire had one more idea to dispose of Sataria’s ashes. She was going to wait before she did anything.
Sam, Tammy, Luke, Rachel, and Tony were surprised when two armor figures and a group of people came walking out of the jungle. The animals were about to attack when one of the women said something in the same language that Jack did. Sam looks at them “Who are you?”
A smile appears on Sophia’s face “We’re friends of Mr. Bounty. I’m his cousin Sophia. The tall woman next to me is my wife, Naeun.”
Sam looks at the two women standing before her. She was a little hesitant to trust them. She looks towards the wolf and he seems to recognize her.
“Who are those two armor-flying people?” Sam looks towards the two-armor people.
“That’s Carla and the other one is her apprentice, Diamond. They are going to make sure nothing messes with us.” Sophia knew Chaos and Sher Khan would make sure as well.
Elizabeth and her people check the five people over and give them the okay to head back to the beach. Tammy rides Chaos. He was being protective of her. Sophia rubs the old wolf’s fur. She knew he was a big softy deep inside, except when you pissed him off.
Getting everyone off the island was a chore and a half. They had to call to get some assistance from a British and American naval ship in the area. The seaplane Anika and her people came in had room for Sher Khan and Chaos. Samson didn’t want to travel in the same seaplane as the two giant animals, so he traveled with Jack and Nick on the British ship that was providing assistance. The five people Jack, Cheshire, and Nick rescued traveled on the US vessel. The department they belonged to authorized it.
As for Sataria, Cheshire chopped her body up and burned it down to the bone, and crushed the bones into dust. After Jack hollowed out a bamboo, they put Sataria’s ashes into the hollowed-out bamboo and sealed it. Jack made arrangements to launch the container into space with a company he used for the satellites his company built. They would make sure that everything they did to Sataria meant she wasn’t coming back to life.
It takes Jack, Cheshire, and Nick a few days to return to Boston. Jack and Cheshire wanted to make sure Nick’s family were safe. The people who worked for Jack were a team he didn’t use that much due to injuries they received while working for Jack.
Andrew, an older guy who had grey hair but looked extremely muscular, greets Jack and Nick.
“I thought I would never see you working together again.” Andrew knew Nick from long ago.
Nick looked towards Andrew and couldn’t believe he was still alive “damn Rock! Rumor had it that you passed away.” Nick shakes Andrew’s hand.
“Nay! I’m living off the grid with my wife and granddaughter.” Andrew has known Nick and Jack for a long time.
“Man, I can’t believe you got married. Who did you end up marrying?” Nick knew Andrew wasn’t the easiest person to live with. The man was as old as Jack and Nick were, but he didn’t show his age.
“A woman Jack hooked me up with. At first, it started with me protecting her from assassins, and then, after the case was solved, We ended up getting married and adopted some kids that lost their family in a house fire.”
“Man, I never took you for the family type.”
“Well, Maria changed me. Let me introduce the rest of my team.” Andrew turns towards the three other people standing nearby.
The first person Andrew introduces is a tall African American gentleman who was built as muscularly as he was. “This here is John Henry. He’s my second in charge. He’s a former Army Ranger and served thirty years in the military.”
John looks at Nick and extends his hand out “its nice to meet you.”
Nick shakes John’s hand. “Thank you for protecting my family.”
“It was a pleasure. You have a nice family.”
“Thanks.”
Nick is then introduced to a woman named Diane Connors. She has long blonde hair and blue eyes. She also looks like the splitting image of the cartoon character She-Ra from the late eighties cartoon show. She is the same height and build as the cartoon character and even sounds like her.
“Diane, it’s been a long time since we've seen each other. How are your husband and son doing?” Nick knew Diane had a son the same age as his youngest.
“He’s doing well. I’m now a grandmother.” Diane couldn’t believe she was a grandmother.
Diane knew Nick from her days of working for Jack. She retired from the spy business to concentrate on raising her family.
“Wow! So, how many grandkids do you have?”
“Four, and they are a handful.” Diane loved being a grandmother.
The last person Nick shakes hands with is a young woman who introduces herself as Circuit. Nick doesn’t know anything about her, but she looks to be in her early twenties. Nick notices that she has some sort of metallic ribbon running up her neck and heading towards her back. She is the shortest among the other people protecting his family.
Her hands had metallic strips running to the top of her fingertips, disappearing under her skin. He wonders why she had metallic ribbons running on her hands and neck.
“Circuit, if you don’t mind me asking.”
“Why do I have metallic ribbons on my hands and neck?” Circuit already knew what Nick was going to ask.
“Yes.”
“My nervous system is damaged, which causes me to lose control or unable to use my arms and legs. I also have brittle bones as well. So, I have to wear a specialized exoskeleton that I designed myself. It allows me to move instead of relying on others or being restricted to a wheelchair.” Circuit hated that her body wasn’t normal.
“I’m sorry. I wish there were something I could do to help you. However, Circuit isn’t the name you were born with. So, what is your real name?”
“Circuit. I had my name changed when I was thirteen years old with my adoptive parent's permission.”
“Well, thank you for protecting my family, Circuit.” Nick shook Circuit’s hand and could tell she had a good grip.
Cheshire, Jack, Anika, and her crew stay for a few days. Jack calls his wife to find out how everything is at the ranch. After talking with his wife,
Jack calls Clair and informs her that he and Nick are fine and will be heading home to his family. He authorizes the recruiting of more members for her team and says that the funds will be available to fix her place.
Jack and Cheshire stay at a high-class hotel and share a suite. They also go shopping to buy clothes for themselves. As for everything that was recovered from the island Sataria sent them to, the island didn’t belong to anyone in particular, so Jack was looking into buying it.
Jack and Cheshire end up in bed together again and this time the two of them take things slow, not like last time. Cheshire knew this might cause some problems with Debbie, but it wasn’t like the two of them haven’t spoken about it. Debbie knew how close she and Jack were. The last thing she wants to do, is hurt Debbie and cause problems for Jack.
Jack’s landing field, Caldwell, Montana:
Several days later, around midnight, the Learjet Jack and Cheshire were on lands at Jack’s property. All the floodlights that border the landing strip and the hangar were on, including the lights from the grain towers. As the plane finally comes to a stop, the door opens. Jack and Cheshire could see all their families waiting for them.
Julia and Tizzy walk to the plane to help unload Chaos and Sher Khan. Neither animal loves flying, and the girls knew their parents would have to give them something to make it easy on them.
“Welcome home, Mom and Uncle Jack.” Tizzy was looking at her mother as she exited from the plane.
Cheshire looks at her oldest and smiles. She is glad to be back with her family, knowing they must have worried about her.
“Welcome home, Dad and Aunt Cheshire.” Julia looked at her father and Aunt, happy they were safe and sound.
Debbie walks up to her husband and kisses him. She looks into his golden color eyes. “Welcome back, sweetie.”
Jack returned the kiss and was happy he was home. He knew he had some explaining to do.
“Welcome home, Cheshire.” Debbie hugs Cheshire like a cherished sister.
“Thanks, Debbie.” Cheshire returns the hug. She feels a little guilty about what she and Jack did, but she knows they will have to tell Debbie.
“Oh, I don’t get a hug? I had to go and pick their sorry butts up.” Patricia exists from the plane.
“Of course, you get a hug, Pat.” Arnold steps forward and hugs Pat.
“Okay, who wants to help get the sleepy big ass wolf and tiger out of the back of the plane?” Pat looks towards the people who came down to welcome their parents back.
“I’ll help you, Pat.” Haylee steps forward, followed by Tizzy’s husband, Julia, and Tizzy.
Between them, they managed to get Chaos and Sher Khan out of the plane without too much effort. Haylee uses her unique talent to cause the drugs they were given to leave their body. The other wolves that weren’t injured came over to see how their sire was.
Tizzy kneels in front of Sher Khan. “How are you feeling, boy?” as she scratches him between his ears.
Sher Khan heads butts her gently and licks Tizzy’s face. He steps forward and rubs against her.
“I say you’re doing better, boy.” Tizzy falls backward on her butt after being head-butted.
“Come on, let’s head back to the house and find out where Dad and Aunt Cheshire have been.” Gina was holding Misty’s hand.
“I’ll close the plane up.” Arnold walks over to the plane and gets into it. He starts the engines up and moves the aircraft into the hangar, where the other Learjet and Julia’s F18 fighter jet were stored.
Once Arnold was done moving the plane, he shut everything down and closed the hangar. Gina and Misty were waiting for him when he exited the hangar.
“You didn’t need to wait for me, sweetie.” Arnold kisses Gina on the cheek.
“I didn’t want to; your daughter here did.” Gina looks down at Misty.
Misty smiles at her adopted father. She has grown to trust him and likes him a lot.
“In that case. I think someone should get a piggyback ride.” Arnold picks Misty up and puts her on his back.
Misty giggles and holds onto her father’s back as they walk towards the main house. She spots Chaos running off with several other wolves into the woods. Sher Khan was walking between Tizzy and Cheshire.
Jack was holding Debbie’s hand as they walked towards the house. He looks at his wife. “How bad is it?”
“Not too bad. We lost a few farmhands and several wolves. It would have been worse if our neighbors hadn’t arrived when they did. We also have several prisoners down in the cells. One of them is in bad shape. Julia used your drug on one of them to get information from him.” Debbie knew the effects of the drug Jack developed.
“I’ll make sure he has a clean death. Where are the rest of the grandkids?” Jack noticed that only Misty had come down to the airstrip.
“Either in bed or, in Arabella’s case, in her workshop repairing her drones. You would have been proud of her. The two attack drones she has been working on were a big help in defending the property. Your office is messy, but Arabella will clean it up tomorrow.” Debbie knew her grandchild would clean up her husband’s office.
“I’ll take care of it. I have something I need to tell you.” Jack looks down at his wife.
“IF it’s about you and Cheshire, I gave her my permission already. So, you are safe.” Debbie leans against Jack’s arm.
Jack shakes his head. He should have known his wife would be one step ahead of him. He was glad to return home, and Sataria would no longer be a problem.
In the coming days, Cheshire and her family will stay to help Jack and his family with the cleanup. Arabella, Jenny, and Amy go out to find all the parts of the drones they lost during the fight. Trigger, Cadmus, and Sphinx are helping them.
Haylee, Rae, and the veterinarian usually cared for the ranch's animals, including all the injured wolves, bison, horses, and cows that were hurt during the fighting. The Werewolves to the North of Jack’s ranch came and collected the dead bodies to burn.
As for the captured prisoners, between what Jack would do to them and several members of the Werewolf clan would do to them. They spill their guts. Of course, a few had to be examples of when they wouldn’t talk. Afterward, they were interrogated, they were picked up by a blackout plane, and flown off to secure facilities where they would spend the rest of their miserable lives.
Weeks later, Gina finds out she is pregnant again, which excites Jack, Arnold, and Debbie. During this time, Arabella, Jenny, and Amy also discover that the University of California has accepted them. Caltech also accepted Arabella. Since Arabella wanted to stay with her friends, she attended the University of California with her friends.
As for Sataria’s ashes, Jack has them placed inside a capsule and launched into space. Jack, Nick, and Cheshire would ensure she never returned to bother them.
