What was will be again,
what happened will happen again.
There’s nothing new on this earth.
Year after year it’s the same old thing.
Does someone call out, “Hey, this is new”?
Don’t get excited—it’s the same old story.
Ecc.19:11 The message

It seems to me I've read that tale before
It's like an old familiar score
I know it; like a favorite melody

It's funny how a tale evokes a familiar tease
A tale with me in a satin chemise
I know each word because I've dreamed that tale before

The words say "forever in a dress"
Forever's fine I must confess
Please have them write it once again

And I'll remember just when
I've read that lovely tale before
