The bigotry of the right wing...

A story from the Guardian. It appears drag queens have been reading stories to children in public libraries and the right-wing have got hold of it and, on the pretence of protecting children are prepared to protest against such things because they are different.

Why have people got so angry and why do they seem to blame it all on minorities who have even less influence than they do? What are they frightened of, that these weirdos may come over as normal people or even be likeable? This taliban-like Christianity, shows them to be devoid of the legendary compassion of their founder and a very narrow and puritanical form of enjoyment, which seems to thrive on hatred and ill-feeling towards all men. If they looked in the mirror they would see that they are the monsters and not the minorities.
