as we say in these parts!
Doesn't matter if you don't, i understand you can get treatment.
Anyway up, its been a mixed bag of weather so far this week from heavy showers to warm and sunny, i may have to resort to indoor drying today!
So on Monday i decided that i needed to improve some of the book offerings on Amazon and first up was the Gaby cook book. Hopefully the new Kindle version is a little better but i've also now got a print version available which after some fine tuning comes close to how i originally intended it to look. If you haven't seen it yet, the recipes are all very simple to do, often using basics in most peeps larders, there's no fancy language or equipment, in short its an ideal doorway to some cheap, tasty mains and desserts that you don't need to be a kitchen goddess (or god!) to prepare.
I did get a goodly walk in later on, i was hoping to see the kingfisher on the Frome but irresponsible dog owners meant the poor birds were scared away from their favourite haunts.
Yesterday i decided to have a bit of an explore on my ride, i found @ 16% new roads during my 101km ride as well as a reasonable 900+m of climbing. It was a bit breezy to sit too long over my tea and chicken burger so i headed back, the wind having swung so that i didn't get any real help all the way round. More of an issue were the noises coming from the rear wheel, somethings amiss in the hub/drive system and i don't have the tools to tackle the job so i'm off to the shop in a bit - a bit of belt tightening won't hurt and if it gets me back on the road its a win, win situation.
That's about it for today, more new to BC Gaby on Sunday.
Tack,
Madeline Anafrid
