Yesterday Last week was Erin’s birthday.
She has often said that what she would really love to receive is financial stability for Big Closet.
There is a way you can help!
Almost everyone on this site lives hand-to-mouth. It was stated in a story on ABC News in May of 2019 that 40% of Americans have less than $400 in an emergency fund for unexpected expenses. That was pre-Covid. Clearly that number would be much worse today.
Abut twenty years ago, I was creating a non-profit to generate donations for my local school district. That fund has facilitated donations totaling over $8 million. While out getting seed money, I called on the mayor of our suburban town. We met in his lakeshore home that had to have a $3 to 4,000,000 price tag. He declined to contribute. He said that he was donating quite a lot of money to an inter-city school and thought that was a more worthy cause.
The point is – even if you’re not up against it, you might not think BC is a priority place for your donations.
BC has three revenue sources:
1.) Donations (Including those donations for Premium Stories)
2.) Advertising
3.) Doppler Press book sales
The costs to run this site are enormous. I’ve run a similar site -- and quickly spent over $1M in under four years.
The revenue from Doppler Press has the potential to be MUCH larger than what it is today.
Reviews generate sales. The more positive reviews a book gets the more often Amazon offers it as an alternative to a potential customer.
On the banner above is a link for ebooks.
It doesn’t cost anything to leave a review for all the Doppler books and could easily be the stimulus needed to generate revenue for BC.
Please click on ebooks and write a review for every book that you’ve read.
Note – it often lists non-doppler books.
Thank you.
