OK, so this is a popular story from this site that I cant remember the name of. I have tried searching, but no luck.
The MC starts as an overweight man who is heavily into radios/technology etc. He works at a university and when he goes out to fix something in storm he gets hit by lightning. The lightning causes him to transform into a young woman. The story is then about her life from then on.
I won't go into more detail so I don't put in spoilers and I think that's enough for those who know the book to recognize it. For anyone who hasn't read it, once we get the name it's a great story that I highly recommend. If it's not enough I'll add in more info.
