Snapchat Gender Filter

How many of you are on snapchat? I have avoided it for a while now but the other day I saw an article about a new filter that can be used on your pictures. There is one for Men and one for Women. The filter basicly takes your picture and alters it by imposing traditionaly male or female characteristics on it. Here is the article that I found.

A writer from Out Magazine has made her displeasure know. She says it makes a joke out of transitioning. Maybe so, but how many of began their jurney wondering if they could ever pass? These pics may not be accurate but they could give hope to those who are afraid.

I will never be able to transition. I am just to big and tall. I used this filter on my picture and I was completley blown away. I actually started crying because I liked the picture so much. The writer from the magazine may be right. However, that app can still do some good for our community.
