Reality Can Be Disappointing at Times

Reality is a bitch. As many of you know, my Cynthia Chronicles series of stories take place in New England. Bridgeport, CT; Hartford, CT; Boston, MA are some of the main locations. Bridgeport is the home of Cynthia Lewis/Brewer, and it seems the town and area is frequently visited by the SRU Wizard. His Wisdom took a special liking to Cyndy, her friends and families.

We took a road trip not too long ago, and last week at this time we were returning home, and the route took us through Bridgeport. I thought how nice it would be if we would somehow be directed to the town where we would find The Wizard and his shop. He could fix my wife's health problems, and maybe favor me with the changes I had wished for. After all, I had treated him quite well in my stories, and I hoped I might be rewarded.

Well, it was not to be. We traveled through eight states last Monday, but never saw hide nor hair of him. Oh well.
