Nanomage

Sapphire just relayed news via TG Fiction mailing list from Nanomage's sister Kat, her brother died about a week ago of heart failure. He had several ongoing health problems.

I had not seen Nano or Kat in more than five years but we had met several times in Orange County to play DnD-type RPGs. I considered them friends and I'm sorry I had not managed to reconnect with them after Jeanne's health problems began.

Nanomage wrote thoughtful, imaginative pieces on several websites, and I think, some newsgroups. In person, he had a sunny disposition and enjoyed talking about just about anything. His sister Kat makes an interesting DM who is more interested in having fun than bothering with a complicated rulebook.

None of Nanomage's writings are on BC, as far as I know. I'm not sure where they are but they are worth looking for.

Even though I had not seen or talked to him in years, I miss him. A very small bit of the magic has gone out of the world.
