Wow Beautiful - Carole King Musical

I was invited to London this weekend and had the good fortune to see a matinee performance of this stage musical. I went without any idea of how successful this New York girl had been even before she released her first album and I couldn't imagine how this could be a stage musical.
Wow!!!!
What a surprise and what talent I had the good fortune to watch. I had shivers down my spine through the whole of the show. I want to try to find her performance at Carnegie Hall that was the culmination of the show. For a 16 year old who became pregnant and married so young must have been a great challenge at that time. Her parents had divorced and that presented a challenge for her mother as a single parent.
You've got to get up every morning
With a smile in your face
And show the world all the love in your heart
Then people gonna treat you better
You're gonna find, yes you will
That you're beautiful, as you feel

So appropriate for many of us who face challenges each day.
