shopping and birthdays

I'm 47 today, and well and truely know I'm not changing.
But while out xmas shopping, the family in front of me in the queue included a 10ish yr old transgendered child.
Damn she brought a smile to my face.
Didn't say anything of course, but she made me feel much better just by being there.
