I found out why I had the panic attack

Well, I found out the source of my panic attack before going into a shower.

Apparently, when I was in my early teens, I accidentally pulled a shower curtain down, and my stepfather beat me badly.

My brother remembered this, because he says that he promised himself that the next time my stepfather hurt me, he would, in his words, "have a conversation with him".

I had totally forgotten this had happened.

Since he told me this story, I've been a bit shaky.

Just one more thing to recover from, I guess.

Ah, well.
