A diagnosis!

I have been given a diagnosis (such as it is ) of vasculitis. The consultant was sufficiently concerned that they wanted to admit me as an in-patient yesterday but there was no bed. I am going in this afternoon, so will be AFK for a few days.

It seems that vasculitis in my case is some kind of auto-immune disease which may explain many of my past symptoms.

I have no idea how long I will be in there or what they plan to do, but the indication is lots of steroids and possibly "blood-cleaning", that is some kind of dialysis.

I won't be in a position to view any comments to this post, sorry. I'm having lunch and then I'm off to the funny farm.
