Jihad is back

Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry about the delay in publishing the next episode of Jihad. I took a short vacation to see some friends and family in Colorado and to renew my acquaintance with the mountains. The family is doing well, as are my old friends. It's amazing how old they've become, while I remain my youthful self. ;-}

I did drive down I-285, through a couple of 10,000 foot passes into South Park. Magnificent! Amazing! No antelope, though.

Then, up Route 9 through and 11,000 foot pass just north of Mt. Lincoln, and then down through a series of steep cutbacks to the ski/tourist town of Breckenridge. Wow, has it change in the past quarter century! They've gone out of their way to appear quaint, appealing to the tourist's and skier's wallets.

Then, back east to Denver on I-70. It's still a magnificent spectacle winding through that long descent among those enormous mountains.

Now, I'm back, renewed and ready for another year of developing young minds.
