Pleasant surprise

My friend Anne is here for the day, we're going out shortly to have dinner to celebrate my becoming an old codger officially - I now get free prescriptions - whoopie doo!

She surprised me by showing me a card with birthday wishes from a whole pile of you whom she'd contacted, printed out and stuck to the card. To say I was gobsmacked would be an understatement to say the least.

To all those who she managed to contact, and she explained it was a last minute idea, and to those who have since sent me birthday wishes - thank you all so much.
