Linking PDF files

I have a story that has images in it that I want to keep formatted a certain way. (images are tiled and sized the right way)
I have created a PDF file, as suggested, but I can only upload certain types of files,it seems, only picture related it seems. (JPG PNG)
How do I upload the PDF file?

I just saw the FILE ATTACHMENTS link at the bottom of this page...BLONDE MOMENT it appears.
