Feel a bit like tipping over my king

Sorry folks, this one isnt sunshine and daisies.

The title of this blog entry is a chess reference. Basically, it means that I have run through every possible option for the future, and all the variations are unsound - "Mate", that is to say, utter disaster, within 2 years. By that point I will either have lost my daughter, or lost my self. Not much I can do but play it out, and pray I've missed something, or that some miracle comes to my rescue. Ah, well.
